Defense Group
Well, Marshal and Coronamon's trip up the ramp itself would prove largely uneventful, at least during their initial entry: once the pair had made their way halfway up the ramp, there would be movement as the hatch started to close, lifting the pair up into the entry hatch. Just a mere moment later, the hatch would click, and hiss shut, leaving the pair boarded inside of the Blimpmon.
And as for this room itself, well, it definitely had the flare of a warship. Coronamon and Marshal would find themselves standing on a central path in front of the hatch: looking down, they would find that the Blimpmon's hull was transparent from this side, leaving a slightly grey tint over the Ceresmon as a whole. Indeed, they had a full, birds-eye view of the canopy.
Surrounding the central path were several bridges, leading to doors on either side of them, as well as a main path forward towards a second level. But, at least for a few moments, it didn't appear that anyone had moved to meet the pair...
... And that would change, rather quickly! A yellow flash would dart from one of the doors, and with a heavy 'thud', the pair might turn around fast enough to see a new figure upon them:
Of course, if they were fast enough: as soon as the bee-colored mega landed, the Tigevespamon would reach one palm out, towards Marshall, and attempt to get any sort of contact with him... and if he did, a powerful current would run through his body! The shock would be reserved, calculated enough to not outright roast him, but if it worked, it would be enough to keep Marshal out of commission, unable to feed power through his Digivice for Coronamon!
Search Group
As unaware of the situation above as Marshal would be of the situation below, the Witchmon kept her focus primarily on BeelStarrmon, who seemed to be the leader of this situation (perhaps it was Anita before, but now Yuu was taking up the mantle? The Witchmon just gave a silent shrug at that thought).
And for Yuu's plan, the sorceress gave a smirk. "Well, splitting up has its own problems, doesn't it? Suppose Satsuki finds it first, and whatever signal he sends out gets caught by the enemy first? Still, done right, its probably our best bet..." And maybe they had a way to communicate between each-other remotely, anyway!
"... As for me, well..." The medic gave a sigh, and looked between the two groups. The Super Mega could handle herself, so the Gatomon stepped in line with the Arpamon, intent on joining up with Satsuki for now. The sorceress nodded, and took her broom in hand. "Well, get out into the woods. I'll shout out if it ends up being under my feet, but don't hold your breath on that!"
And once the two groups were out of sight, and no sooner than that, the Witchmon would tap her broom against the Ceresmon's back. The leaves would shudder, as the Witchmon's spell was lifted from the floating island...
"... No signs of it around here..."
Out in the woods, another pair was searching through these woods. But it would hardly be the pair that one would have expected out here: this was another tamer. In his late teens and just over five-and-a-half feet tall, he wore blue slacks, and a matching jacket against the chill of the area above. And his partner followed close behind:
The Deputymon seemed even less for words, keeping his hat tilted forward to conceal his face. That said, this wasn't a pair to approach casually...
... Though, just what end of the woods were these two on?
((I'll leave you guys to figure out who wants first crack at that one. : d))

Well, so much for negotiation. As soon as the two of them had made it in the airship, Marshal and Coronamon were assaulted by a TigerVespamon. Coronamon noticed the enemy trying to go for Marshal, so he instinctively reached out for Marshal's fist. He managed to make it in time and fist bumped his Tamer, the classic trigger for their Biomerge. The transformation took place quickly, but not before Marshal nearly got hit by TigerVespamon's attack. "Coronamon Biomerge to...Apollomon!"TigerVespamon's attack did end up reaching Apollomon, but it seemed extremely weak. It seemed that he hadn't intended to kill Marshal, which was at least a sign that they were maybe willing to reason. "We're not here to fight," Apollomon insisted. "Just explain yourselves and we'll be on our way."Inside their head, Marshal knew that they had just lied through their teeth. As soon as they got the opportunity, they had planned to take over the Blimpmon from inside to take out the others before they even knew what was going on. Of course, this could just end up being more trouble than it was worth, considering he had just been forced to show his hand this early in the game.

Vianna followed everyone into the forest. She didnt like letting the blimpmons out of her line of sight but it had to be done. She needed to earn money for shiny things after all. She'd see about stealing a blimpmon after the mission. "So this place is neat! Id love to do some studies here"
Vianna blinked as she watched the witchmon assault her group. Confused she watched the argument before her. Wasnt witchmon on their side? To be fair she hadnt really read the details on the mission, just looked at the price and agreed. She could get a lot of shiny things for 10,000 bits after all.
And now Anita had lost her memory? Interesting, maybe she could use that to her advantage and snag the ring. She tuned out the description of the fruit as she made her way to Anita "you promised me the ring in the beginning of the mission, just a friendly reminder since you seem to have forgotten" she gave a friendly smile to Anita. Up until now she had tuned out the description but the word crystal was used. Crystals were shiny right? She bounced up and down in excitement. "Crystals are shiny right?! Ill find it in no time!" She was being rather loud and was looking around in the area they were in quickly. She was darting around like a cartoon character.

Satsuki did have to admit... while the Witchmon was eccentric, there was some genius to their madness. "I mean... it probably is kinda smart to make sure you don't where the fruit is. Some unsavory folks could try and pry it out of ya if you did knew... so I guess better safe than sorry."
Regardless, things just did not seem to be easy for them. With the entirety of Ceresmon to explore, they had their work cut out for them. "I'd take the risk that we try and split up. The faster we can secure the fruit, the better." She'd iterate one last time, pretty much done readying herself so that they could get a move on. And fast.
"Aww, all this reconaissance work gets grating on the nerves ~" The sheep Digimon would chime in as they remained by their tamer's and allies' side as they all began to split up to begin their search.
Satsuki internally groaned as she eyed Vianna rushing off a bit ahead of them, tail flickering wildly as they began feverishly investigating their environment. One person would call the fox Digimon's actions "charming" or "endearing". Satsuki just found it annoying. "Pipe down you kumiho. We're TRYING to run a stealth operation here. You want to try and blow our cover?" She'd quietly, but harshly scold the black-furred Renamon, tapping her foot irritantly. "We don't KNOW who else is out here... and if they are trying to find that fruit too, I'd prefer we not meet them!"

Seemingly, her plans were approved; that was a bit of a relief. If anything, Yuu was confident on Marshal's ability to take care of himself, and Coronamon also seemed to be a pretty competent guy, even if not very talkative. No matter at that moment, anyway; as soon as they needed help, BeelStarrmon was sure that she'd get a timely can and would have no problem at backing right towards their old position.
But for now, she had other, bigger concerns at hand; she had to find the fruit before it fell into the wrong hands, or at least before anything too suspicious got their limbs on it. So, taking a deep breath, they focused yet again on the task at hand; heels dug into the ground for a split second before the demoness resumed her search across the canopy. She'd try to be as fast as possible, given the nature of their quest, but to still approach with caution to each area as she searched for any hints on the fruit being on that place.
With any luck, she'd be able to reach it before anyone else does, or at least would get a message from Satsuki saying that she did and they would rendezvous.

Well, Anita may have lost her memory, but she sure didn't lose her head: Vianna's little quip about a promised ring made Anita bear a fang. "Yeah, no. Go on and do your job." Yup, this Gatomon was still the Anita that the group had come to know, and the whole quarrel earned an eyeroll from the Witchmon.
"My, such an eccentric group..."
As promised, as soon as the group left the clearing, the Witchmon had cancelled her spell: those attuned to it might feel a slight 'tingle' in the air, but it was easy to miss in these breezy woods. The group had split into two: the Beelstarmon searching the west, and Satsuki, Circe, Anita, and Vianna as the impromptu group on the east. This would allow them to cover ground in the canopy fairly quickly, but it left a noisy group on the east side.
A noisy and vulnerable group, at that: the frenzied efforts of the Renamon and the hissed whispers from the tamer sent their sound deep into the surrounding area. Anita, shaking her head - and staying much closer to Circe than she did to Vianna - gave a quiet remark to Satsuki. "Maybe we should have just stuck her with the super-mega..."
It was too late for that, though: as the group proceeded, something had already caught onto their trail. Just as they would come upon a clearing, the group perhaps feeling comfortable with the amount of underbrush behind them, there would be a 'glint' in the canopy. This would be their only sign, before a loud BANG would fill their ears, with a fast-moving blast rocketing right towards Satsuki's center!
As for the Beelstarmon... well, if nothing else, the sharp sound of the bullet would be the first thing that she heard, far off to the east! However, this would very quickly not be Yuu's only concern: a mere moment later, the canopy above began to rustle, something moving up in the canopy with a distinct rustle. In fact, if she took a good look between the trees, she'd see the Reppamon, with a black mask and a red-bladed tail, circling the area above. But then, there would be silence, the motion dying down all at once...
... And, just three seconds later, the Reppamon would appear, in mid-air, on Yuu's right-side: it was already in swinging motion, the weasel poised to attempt to flick his tail right across her midsection!
Defense Group
Well, now wasn't that a neat trick? The Tigervespamon, seeing his hand now upon a giant, flaming ape, quickly pulled back and created distance between them. More than anything else, the fact that it was fire was giving the machine Digimon pause:
This was a blimp, after all. But as Marshal might have guessed, his little escapades did end up alerting more than just the front guard of the Tigervespamon. Or at least, that might have been Marshal's perception; after all, the Tigervespamon didn't seem all that concerned with the stronger Digimon mere feet away from him.
"Then leave." He buzzed, raising a blade to defend... but he was cut off by a haughty laugh. From the main path, a Beelzemon made himself known, a flick of his tail denting the metal support underneath.
"Oh, the human and his pet are trying to play haughty? Let me put it simple, kid: whoever controls the fruit, can sustain an armada! Besides, isn't that what you're here for?" He grinned, giving a shrug, shaking his head. "But, what's it to me, what's it to me... tell me, how much are you getting paid for this shtick? Because, whatever it is..."
He smirked. "I'll double it if you get the fruit to us, instead."

Satsuki admittingly did not notice the incoming warning sign that she and the group were being stalked. She also did not see the incoming shot that had been aimed at her. Were it not for her partner managing to catch the gleam of a muzzle and diving to their tamer's side, she'd certainly have taken the brunt of the attack. In Satsuki's place, Circe blocked the ballistic shot using her own body as a shield. While certainly quite damaging, the Mammal Digimon didn't seem too fazed by it. "I eat... BULLETS for breakfast!" The Arpamon would say aloud, cackling in a fit of laughter to herself despite the injury. Pain was coursing through her, it being absolutely exhilarating to the sheep-like Digimon. Satsuki however was not here to revel in almost having been shot at. God damn it, of COURSE they were being attacked now! She had no idea of the direction that the attack came from... but they were in danger now! "Get your shit together! Move!" She'd immediately yell to the party, quickly managing to get Circe back onto her feet and running. While she managed to see what looked metal off in the distance (surely their assailant,) they were in no situation where they could go and try to setup a counterattack. Hell, fighting right now could be a terrible idea frankly! They had no idea how many of these goons were running about at this time! But if worst comes to worse... she did have a trick up her sleeve. Or two actually, she readying up one of them. "Lockhart! Get your ass out here and help us!" She'd say aloud, pulling out her Digivice and what looked like an SD card, inserting it into a slot in the device. As it's screen began to flash, a paper-thin like Digimon resembling a crudely drawn children's trading card realized into existence, already hitting the ground running. "Ya gotta be kiddin' me lady! Goin' around and getting shot at?! 3000 bits ain't worth this shit!" The Cardmon's demonic-like drawing would screech aloud, trying to decipher it's surroundings. They were certainly not too pleased being thrown into the middle of combat so soon, but they were too much of a spineless individual to say anything that could be labeled as treason. The girl didn't frankly have time to scold the rather incompetent lackie she hired (given he was on clearance,) things far too dangerous to sit still. In truth, Lockhart was not much of a fighter... but he had other uses. Meatshield was one of them of course. While having taken a fairly nasty hit just moments earlier, Circe's body seemed to already be doing... something to put itself back together. Or at the very least was in the process of attempting to do so. It just depended on how much free time it could be given to do so.
(Arpamon's passive Cloud Computing cached half of the shot's damage for future use) ((OOC: This has the shit about Lockhart since haven't gotten that added onto my profile yet :v))

Everything seemed to happen in a split second; as Yuu scanned the nearby area, he heard the gunshot in the direction where the other group was. She was going to do a quick checkout on them before... she noticed the Reppamon. She wasn't sure in its intent, but if she had to make any guesses about it... it probably was an enemy searching for the fruit. Otherwise, Witchmon would've told them there were more allies inside this place, right?
Maybe it had been overconfidence on Reppamon usually being a low leveled digimon, but before the demoness could notice it, the digimon just disappeared into thin air. Where had it gone? Maybe it had noticed her position? Better for her to get ready! For all that she knew, an attack would come at any moment!
And so it did! In a rapid motion, the weasel was already trying to slice across her. In one fluid motion, BeelStarrmon tried to step aside from the swing, making sure to use her guns to deflect the oncoming tail if her movements weren't quick enough. Trying to parry a bladed tail with them was probably foolish, so she'd settle with the tail slicing through something that wouldn't impair her too much, should her speed not be enough to dodge.
After that reaction, came the action, though! Not even wasting a second, right after avoiding the attack, Yuu'd point her guns straight towards the digimon, and pull both triggers decisively. After a literal cloud of bullets was released, the digimon tried to widen the gap between them. Now she just had to see how this would go on and if her attack was successful. Silver Bullets: This attack pins all the enemies inside its radius to the ground, making them incapable of moving for two posts. 2-post cooldown.

Apollomon dropped his fists and listened to Beelzemon's story. Was the fruit really that powerful? He didn't really have the whole story, he had just been reccomended here by Maia.
Then the Beelzemon offered to pay him double what they would've paid him for protecting the fruit. Seeing an opportunity, Apollomon smirked. "So, you're prepared to offer me 100,000 bits and all I have to do is bring you a fruit?" This could prove...fruitful.

That shot rang heavily through the woods: Anita's ears were pulled flat against the back of her head, filtering out the sudden sound, as the medic quickly tried to assess what had happened. Thankfully, the bullet hadn't managed to find the intended target of Satsuki. Circe had just managed to get in the way of the blast, and thanks to that, a much worse crisis was averted.
For how long, though, was anyone's guess! Immediately as she noticed Circe in pain, the Gatomon swore under her breath, Satsuki's words echoing in their ears. Moving was a good idea, if only because it would be harder to pull off a shot with so many trees interfering, but it also made it harder for the medic to do her job! Still, she managed to get in-step with Circe: as the sheep would 'cache' the damage, one of Anita's hands would press against Circe's chest, over the bullet mark. A moment later, a green aura would radiate around her hand: the wound would start to heal, the bullet itself falling lost to the foliage. "Good eye... keep your eyes up. Don't worry, this much is simple enough for me to heal." Was she telling Circe to be reckless?
Simply put, yes. Even moving like this, it wasn't likely for their assailant to just waltz in their view: that muzzle had already long disappeared from sight, and with them running through the woods, it was going to be harder to hear the rustling trees around them. "The next time he fires," Anita whispered, "We'll know where he is." The plan was muttered with some contempt: after all, it involved one of them getting shot!
"Oh? A bit more crafty than I figured..." Some distance away from the group, the Deputymon's tamer briefly checked his Digivice. It seemed that the first bullet hadn't managed to take one of them out, and from the guman's position, there were problems. He was noticed, and his method of approach would be more predictable. At this rate, it was likely they could get away.
Well, he simply slid a card through his device. So long as he was in range, such an issue could be met head-on.
And this was how the next approach was even possible. There was barely a sound to the left or the right, but above the group, that metallic barrel would appear again... except, this time it was a much wider barrel. And with a short delay, a purple blast would rocket out, this time aimed directly at Circe! It was aimed to trail with his path, and even if it missed, both he and Anita could likely be caught out in the blast's three-foot radius!
An undefined card has been used. Deputymon used 'Justice Blaster'.
