Several minutes ago, Terminus Station... Tetsu boarded a particularly empty looking Trailmon... the poor thing's eyes widened in shock the moment he saw a Gryzmon TRYING TO GET IN. What's worse, the kid trying to push that humongous Digimon sweet behind so he could get inside!
"HEY HEY HEY, I CAN'T TAKE HIM LIKE THAT! KID, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!?" the Worm type Trailmon stopped him before he could do that. Tetsu looked a bit confused, but mostly dejected. Somehow he looked like as if someone kicked his puppy. The Trailmon at first tried to ignore the boy's look, but upon seeing that he's not moving and he seem to be unable to devolve his Digimon, he sighed.
"...Oh fine..." he's so going to regret this, ain't he? "He can ride on top of me..."
...And he did regret it. The feeling of the heavy buttocks pressed against his top was NOT the best sensation ever, especially because he swore that he felt his wheels almost grating the rails... That poor Trailmon immediately swore to get checked after he dropped the duo off.
Well, the easy part is done. Jumping through the ticket check is easy... and the patrol seem to be lax. Naive Tetsu had no idea that they got cameras though. Little did he know that in the morning, many guards was sent in alert when they saw the recording of a black, gigantic bear going out of the station...
And now currently they're in Hachiko Square, hiding while Tetsu looked for a map. Problem with this is logically people going to be in panic, that's why he chose the time when the train stopped to return back home... He know that his mother gonna get really worried... he need to explain everything to her. He's sure however, that it's the least urgent problem for now. He need to get Gryz home!
But how to ensure that people won't get too panicked with this bear around?
...Oh right, he need to get a collar!
...Once again, with wrong priority, the boy walked with his bear to the direction of nearest 24 hours petshop.

While Tetsu was on the search for a collar, John and his Koromon roamed on the nearly barren sidewalk with the main road to their right. This area of Central Shibuya most likely lacked in populace due to the current hour. Aside from the Tamer and his Partner, other night owls meandered about in the streets. Among them were a couple here and there of different age ranges, some intoxicated young men who had just graduated, and a few teenagers that were hanging out for the night for the various attractions.
Casimeir sat comfortably atop John's head, covered only by the hood of his human's dark-teal hoodie. It felt quite warm, and the Digimon didn't want to leave that spot anytime soon. And by no means did John protest. He thought it was adorable. Aside from helping Casimeir stay comfortable, he was in a convenient spot to where humans wouldn't take a second glance in their direction. If anything the Koromon appeared to be nothing more than a stuffed toy.
Plastered on the pair's faces were expressions of glee. "I didn't know that arcade games were so fun," Casimeir exclaimed! The Digimon's enthusiasm only caused John to chuckle. "I thought you would enjoy the Arcade. It's too bad I couldn't figure out how to let you play any of the games." Casimeir smiled brilliantly in return. "Are you kidding? Just watching the games was a blast. I can't wait to get back home so I can play games with you!"
The idea of gaming together with his Partner did sound like a wonderful idea to John. "That does sound fun," he admitted with a grin. "We'll just have to figure out how to work the controller for you." The Koromon pondered about this before speaking again. "They might have controllers made for Digimon in the Digital world. Maybe--" Casimeir quickly grew silent. He sniffed the air for a moment. Was that what he thought it was?
John discontinued the stroll. A soft concern grew inside of him. "Everything alright?" Casimeir looked to his left, then his right, sniffing different directions. "I...I think I smell a Digimon nearby." John's eyes widened in surprise. "Are you sure? It could just be bad cooking." The Koromon shook his head, which was basically his entire body. "No, I'm sure of it." John's concern grew with a dash of caution. If he was the only Tamer around, then he would more than likely have to protect the locals from a potential threat. "Which way?"

The adventure continues for the clueless boy and his bear!
...The grizzly bear Digimon strutting behind his partner with a really relaxed expression plastered on his face. Does this bother him? Technically it would if there are many human, but now with very little people around the station area due to by now they know they can't catch the train, it doesn't matter for him. He enjoyed the night breeze blowing against his fur. It's a luxury he can't get in Digital World... Although so, he wished that this world would be cleaner. The pollution kinda bothered him. Tetsu luckily found the place soon. Gryz sat near the wall on his butt. At time like this, he really want some tea to enjoy...
"Excuse me!" he heard Tetsu greeted the clerk. The one answering seem to be a female from the voice.
"Yes, um, I... got some trouble... My pet was missing and before long it was midnight when I found him..."
"Oh my, that's troublesome... do you need any taxi?"
"Oh, no need, my home is close!"
That's two lie in one conversation. Gryz muttered how this is not supposed be like this in annoyance. Afterall, Tetsu is supposed to be a good child, not someone who lie!
"...Um, so... is the walking collar supposed to be this big?"
"Oh, um... bigger!"
"Bigger...?"
More shuffling sound could be heard, and soon it's seem the clerk presented the collar to the boy. "This big then?"
"Wait a sec..."
Tetsu came out and put the collar to Gryz and quietly asked him how it was. The Gryzmon took off his glove and raise a thumb up, then proceed to wear it again.
"Ah, it seem to be fit, thank you, Oneechan!" Of course he paid for it. Gryz followed Tetsu after he came out from the store. A bit curious, the huge Digimon looked at the store clerk with his signature calm face... ah yeah, for human standard, she is a beauty huh? Trying to be friendly, he waved his front paw at her, although he had no idea why she looked so shocked. Her eyes are as wide as saucers the moment she saw him!

John's cadence picked up in speed, now. He was walking like a man on a mission. Frankly, this was exactly that; a mission to track down and confront the Digimon that Casimeir sniffed out. Previously on top of the Tamer's head, the Partner was nestled in John's arms.
"How much further," John asked? He didn't concern himself about whether people would see his Digimon right now. It's not as if anyone would care enough to notice that the round pink Koromon was a live creature. "Keep walking this way," Casimeir responded. "We're not much further. And it smells like a big one, too!"
A big Digimon? How big was it? "Well, if it's big, then we shouldn't miss it too easily." The muscles in John's legs were certainly getting a decent workout. They were beginning to burn ever-so-slightly. He kicked himself mentally for not investing in a bike! He just knew that having one would be extremely useful.
It wasn't long before the pair saw the very thing that they were hunting for. There, exposed to the street lights and neon signs of a pet store, was a burly bear-like creature! In the instant that John and his Koromon spotted the Gryzmon, the human froze. Was this Digimon friend, or foe? "That's a big bear," he mused sheepishly.

Gryz and Tetsu still walking the road, kinda aimless if you ask them. They're still too preoccupied with their own situation, so much that Gryz just decided to ignore much of the stuff instead pay any attention to minor details. Before long, suddenly the bear start walking on his hindleg with his forepaws on his front and...
"Look for the bear necessities The simple bear necessities Forget about your worries and your strife I mean the bear necessities Old Mother Nature's recipes That brings the bear necessities of life~"
"...I'm pretty sure your name is Gryz and not Baloo," Tetsu commented, but chuckled at the sight of his "papa bear" singing and dancing to his own singing.
"Wherever I wander, wherever I roam I couldn't be fonder of my world The Funbeemons are buzzin' in the tree To make some honey just for me (Oh really?) When you look under the rocks and plants And take a glance at the fancy ants Then maybe count 'em for nap~ The bear necessities of life will come to you They'll come to you!"
The Gryzmon keep dancing and singing, making the boy laugh out loud. Ah, good times. Probably like this they'll think that he's a man in a suit instead... well, if you discount the fact that he's nearly three and half meters standing on his hindleg.

The Tamer and hi Koromon expected to see a Digimon in public, but nothing could prepare them for what they were currently witnessing. John's body remained rigid from the sheer size of the bear-like Digimon. Not to mention the shock value of a dancing, singing bear. Where was this Digimon from, Russia?
"That's him!" Casimeir shouted to his Tamer. "That's the Digimon I smelled earlier!"
"Huh," John muttered. "A giant bear as a Digimon that's an entertainer." He looked about to view the other humans. They didn't seem to be running in terror. Some who cared enough to look at the Gryzmon appeared to be amused, but not too interested. John then noticed someone close to the Gryzmon who resembled a Tamer. "Maybe they think it's a guy in a costume?"
"Let's go approach them," Casimeir suggested in a friendly tone. "They seem nice!"
John nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and we might as well figure out why that Digimon is out in the open when he's so huge." With nothing more to say, for the time being, the duo made their way to the Gryzmon and who they assumed was his Tamer.

Tetsu of course was unaware of the approaching two, but Gryz quickly looked toward the direction where the Koromon is and nodded. "Beary nice to see another Digimon here on the road. Heading home too, mates?" he greeted friendly. Looks like there's no need to put on more equipment afterall?
"If you two need any help from us, we'll hear it as we go, but if not, well... actually..."
Gryz's stomach immediately made a growling noise. Look like it's not going to be smooth sailing afterall.
"...I'm hungry. Maybe let's stop somewhere like WcD?"
"...Hold it, dey gonna smell ya out, Gryz! No way dey gonna believe ya're some performa!"
"Mnnn? Drats, that's true... I guess we need to get me some sort of clothes, huh?"

John and his Koromon weren't quite sure what to make of the circumstances. But one thing was certain; they had to help this Tamer and his Digimon remain as inconspicuous as possible here in the Human World.
"You're gonna need more than just clothes," John commented sheepishly. "It's like your Tamer said, people will catch on sooner or later!"
Casimeir then noticed the entrance to an alleyway not that far up ahead. "Hey," he piped up, "let's hide in that alley over there. That way we can draw less attention!"

"Tamer?" Tetsu repeated the strange word, word that he never heard. The boy looked at Gryz who gave a look of slight disapproval, although his expression did not change from his usual =w= zen face. The boy tilted his head again. "...I... don't know wha' 'dis 'Tamer' thingy... I'm 'is partna', na' Tamer."
"Sorry there brother, your usage of that word kiiinda doesn't apply to us two... we don't really like the term 'Tamer'... I heard from a friend how it showed quite a negative connotation in Digital World. Made it seem like Digimon is brainwashed, you know..." Gryz commented, but finally understood the situation that he's probably catching lot of attention here. "...You're right however, let's pick a more suitable place."
Gryz followed John to the alley, followed by Tetsu behind him. Alas for them, the huge bear's buttock got stuck momentarily between a wall and a trash box.
"Oh dear... Maybe I should diet afterall..." the bear let out a dismayed sigh.
"...I don't think...grh... dat 'diet' can change anythin' on ya, Gryz...!" Tetsu muttered, pushing him so he could get free.

Gryz's words echoed in the mind of John. All this time, he had believed he was supposed to be labeled as a Digimon Tamer. It was Gryz's explanation as to why the pair didn't use that terminology that made John and Casimeir understand even further. It did make sense, at least, being a human who cared for and trained a Digimon. But regardless, John still considered his Koromon to be much more than a Digimon; he thought of Casimeir as a close friend and an equal.
"I think I'm beginning to understand," John commented. "I've been Casimeir Tame--Uh, partner, for a couple of years now, though I haven't been to the Digital World just yet. This whole time, I thought 'Tamer' was the proper word for what I am. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that it can be misinterpreted." John gently grasped his Koromon and brought him down to his chest while he looked at the little guy in thought. "Digimon aren't human, sure, but that doesn't make them any less valuable than us."
A bright smile came to the Koromon's face. He always knew that his friend felt this way, but he was proud nonetheless for being so understanding. Admittedly, Casimeir had never known that it was an issue before meeting Tetsu and Gryz. "Are there people who only use Digimon as tools instead of being their friends and teammates?"
At that moment, the Grizzlymon got himself stuck between the alley wall and the trash bin. Having the kind nature that he did, John sat Casimeir onto the ground before grasping one of Gryz's red gloved paws. He made certain to be careful around the metal spikes that protruded from it. "Okay, come on, big guy. Let's get you free." The human would start to pull. He gritted his teeth and groaned, apparently exerting some energy from the act. "Heave..!"

"It might be," Gryz commented about the term Tamer. "but I have no idea. All I know is that they're often spoken with sneer by some free Digimon so to say. I think the best way to treat us is to treat us like how you would treat a decent human... Now, there is indeed that sort of precedence when it comes to human that uses Digimon or Digimon that uses human for their end. I've heard these from friends that personally have met such people.
Ah, as a protip... if you gone to Digital World, avoid three places at all cost. One is the Dark Area, two is the Eldoradimon, third is Luminas. First reason is that place is really dangerous. For the second place, it's human hating settlement and apparently they was harmed by human in the past, and that's why they won't trust human. Now the third one... is that it's place full of bigots and purity loving angels. They're the worst kind of zealots."
Gryz indeed got stuck later... and it takes a while (and leading the trash bin falling with clattering sound) to let him unstuck finally. Seeing there are some pedestrian who apparently heard the noise, Tetsu hastened Gryz to get deeper, where they found less cramped place to talk.
