Alice was just finishing up with school, she had been getting anxious. It had been maybe two months now since she got the Digitama and it still has yet to hatch. It was to the point where she had it in her dufflebag at all times and was holding it out whenever she couild, no matter how weird it looked. Little did she know, the day had come for Alice's egg to hatch and burst out her own Digimon.
She made her way out of the school and found a bench to sit on. After a minute or two of waiting, she got bored and pulled out the egg to rest on it. She hated going home in the crowd, made it too easy to snag something someone won't miss. The egg was white with a bunch of red shapes on it. It looked very much like a really bad Easter egg to say the least. That's besides the point, Alice rested her head on this egg while waiting for everyone to move on so she could just walk home.
A few people on the way out glanced her way, mainly due to the big friggen egg that she's resting on. It was rather odd to see a big egg, even in grade school. Timothy came by alice and patted her on the shoulder, "Alice, I'm heading to the Digital World, be careful and don't do anything stupid with the egg."
Alice nodded, "I know... You tell me this every day." She was honestly annoyed by his worry for the egg, it would be fine in her hands.
Timothy sighed, then said, "Just trying to keep you safe." He then went on his way towards the train terminal. Alice continued resting there as if there was never a conversation.

As Charlie was making her way off the school campus, she could not help but have a bit of a spring in her step. Summer was coming up soon, and she had a few new and exciting ideas to spend her free time now. Ever since she accidentally stumbled her way into the Digital World, she could not help but be drawn to the idea of maybe trying a little adventuring, the allure of a brand new world all too tempting to just ignore. Of course, she wouldn't have been alone in her travels, though her new partner-in-crime seemed hesitant about going to the Digital World just yet.
Said partner peeked his head out of the girl's backpack, the Missimon seemingly either struggling to catch a breath or just was happy to get some fresh air. "... In the future, can we potentially consider another form of transportation besides your backpack Charlie?" The machine Digimon would comment.
"Aww, but den I'll have tuh leave yuh alone at de house all day!I woun't wantcha tuh get lonely." The short girl would say to the In-Training in a chipper tone, keeping an eye out that no one was watching them.
"Err... trust me, I could live with it." The Missimon awkwardly stated, not intending to try and hurt the girl's feelings. Honestly, when it came between being stuck in a Junior High girl's backpack filled with books and school supplies or relaxing in a comfy bed... He would have preferred the second option.
Either way, the duo were now making their way out of the school's campus, passing by a young girl sitting at a bench with what looked like a large egg. While Charlie remained blissfully unaware of her surroundings, Cassidy while still poking his head out of his tamer's backpack noticed the girl and the egg, staring at them as they passed through.
He for a moment blinked his metallic eyes, unsure if he was just hallucinating or not. He could have sworn that girl had a Digiegg of some sort... but what were the odds of that?

It seemed that Christoph's ability to navigate around this new town wasn't as good as he thought it was, somehow he had managed to get himself lost in what looked like the outside of a school yard. Luckily it seemed that school had ended and most of the kids were already leaving and going home for the day. He hated to say this, but little kids were the worst for him to deal with. They always had so many questions to attack him with. All of them about why he wears a mask or why he stutters when talking, the very thought of it gave him shivers down his spine.
Slowly he started to walk away from the school heading towards what looked like a set of benches, given that most of the kids were going home and not stopping to sit down. All of them say for one little girl that sat down on the very bench that he was going to sit on to try and get his barrings. He could tell that this little girl wasn't normal, for one thing she was holding a rather large egg. There was no way that she got that massive egg at a normal grocery store, it had to be an ostrich egg at that size. If it was an ostrich egg how in the world did she get it? That girl clearly wasn't normal, she was different, so maybe.... maybe it would be ok for him to talk to her.
Standing a few feet away from the young girl he spoke in a soft voice to her. “E-e-e-e-excuse m-m-m-me....” He wanted to get her attention, however he couldn't muster up the courage to speak normally to this little eight year old girl. He knew how humiliating it was to stutter like this given that he was afraid of just interacting with a little girl.

Alice looked up a moment from what had turned into her napping. She felt a pair of eyes on her... Two pairs of eyes actually. The first pair was in some girl's backpack. She was a full foot taller than Alice and that was kinda towering over her even at a distance. Alice gave a little wave to the pair of eyes in the bag, wondering if she had it's attention already. Next she spotted the man approaching her. He seemed lost.
Once she was approached, he seemed overly nervous. She couldn't tell why and gave a turn of her head to signify that. After a moment, she asked, "Are you okay?" It was then that the egg gave a little wobble and made her jump a moment in surprise.
