The presence had made a somewhat direct appearance for the first time, its ever-present voice now heralded by the smell of rot and the ominous glow of three pairs of eyes. Briefly, Isaac couldn't help but think of Devidramon. If he wanted to try and intimidate an opponent from the shadows, he would've probably pulled the same stunt. At the same time, Devidramon was now also a smoldering mass of corruption dissolved in the name of purity.
The group had vastly different reactions to the being before them. Cion seemed like she had seen it all before. She rolled her eyes at the being, snarking it off as another Original the Villain. Frankly, the lack of care was astounding to Isaac. At least in the heightened reflexes of his NeoDevimon state, he felt like any thread should be taken with the utmost seriousness. Besides, were people not being twisted and corrupted here? A Digimon had dissolved into nothingness at his own hands, no egg or core or even data remaining behind! It was a cavalier attitude that earned an unamused snort from the demon. At the same time, there was no cockiness behind her words. There was only a tiredness that spoke to her expertise. If push came to shove and this thing started busting out some unexpected moves, Cion was probably the main person that Isaac could count on.
John flat-out admitted that he was the opposite. He was still new and idealistic, and he was currently trying to reason with the raving lunatic made of shadows and decay. Even Elliot had been shaken out of that mentality by now, and Elliot was practically a lightly microwaved marshmallow Peep. It didn't help that John didn't seem to read his target audience very well. A speech about unity and togetherness to a being who thought humans were a poison towards Digimon? Yeah, that was going to go over like a lead balloon. Even if Isaac didn't think this plan would work at all, though, he couldn't help but admire John's spirit. The speech may not have been Isaac's cup of tea, but he could tell how heartfelt it was. It was impossible to ignore that, and even more impossible not to respect that. If this thing tried to twist the group's minds and turn them against one another, he knew he could count on John.
Finally, Valeria took John's words and proved she was starkly against them. Isaac, for one, figured this would come down to bloodshed in the end, but like this? The Koganemon had gotten off to a lightning-quick start, immediately firing an energy beam into the group. Doing a preemptive strike before the rest of the team was ready screamed of either practicality or foolishness, and frankly Isaac was losing his ability to tell which was which. Would it retaliate already, or would it prove to not even be fazed by such a maneuver? If John's diplomacy had managed to stir the being's heart, would it even listen anymore? It was surprisingly likely that Valeria may had just condemned the group's fate, yet also likely that she could be the one to brute force them out of it.
What would the others think when they saw Isaac? Rather than remain in his current form, or Digivolve to a higher one, he instead sank down to a weaker level. NeoDevimon disappeared in a cocoon of shadowy light, and when it unraveled an Impmon was left standing in his spot. He looked towards the shadows and nodded, raising his bandanna and pulling it up to his mouth. The bandanna muffled his voice slightly as he asked one simple question.
"Do you want to really see purity?"

Satoshi and Garurumon were too busy focusing on the blue flower to heed the voice's words. The burning plant shot a piercing laser straight at Garurumon's muzzle. The wolf attempted to breathe fire to stop it, but the beam shot straight through and into poor Garurumon's mouth.
"Garurumon!" Satoshi cried. "Are you okay?"
Garurumon opened his mouth to speak, or maybe even shoot another Howling Blaster, but no sound or fire escaped. Just a raspy exhale. Satoshi was concerned for his partner, but was also a little glad that something could shut him up for just a moment. It gave him a chance to clear his mind and strategize.
"So, I'm still not sure about the red flowers," Satoshi admitted, "but the yellow flowers seem to restrict movement, and the blue flowers seal ranged abilities as well as the ability to speak. We should act accordingly and have everyone destroy flowers that don't severely limit their strengths."

So it seemed the group defiantly pressed onward. The Sagitamon seemed dismissive of the words spoken, using sarcastic terms. But she did raise a point that it seemed there were a lot of individuals that despised humans. "Perhaps there is a reason for that?" was the reply. Then the human and his partner spoke. He told of who he was and what his intentions were, and spoke very generously. So much so that for a brief moment, the air grew slightly less menacing, the eyes ahead glowing slightly dimmer as though they were calmed. The Greymon even offered help. These words were kind. The entities ahead gave something of a sigh. Before a reply could be made though, an attack was launched, but it was deflected by what seemed to be a powerful anti-energy barrier before it reached the figures. "You will have to get a little closer than that I'm afraid" the voice replied to the origin of the nullified attack, then they turned to John. As they approached, the three digimon in question were revealed. The one on the left was a JewelBeemon, black corruption falling from her wings like ash. The one to the right was a Delumon, his colourful feathers having been lost and replaced with dull grey ones. And the figure in the center was a Jyureimon, his trunk dark, his leaves dry and withered. For a moment, it seemed like the three digimon had achieved a moment of lucidity. However, there was more to it than that. "I apologize for my words, children, but... those were words spoken not from my mind, but from the core inside me" he said. He sounded like a simple old man, different from the threatening, corrupted tone before. "The three of us have been taken by a core of despicable evil, that spreads itself like a disease and corrupts everything it touches. It, not I hates humans, as you are beings that are able to naturally fight such an entity. Your very bodies are designed to do so - able to kill diseases intent on taking over. But we digimon are not as strong at doing that".He hoped these words were being heeded. However, he had to make sure, while his mind was still his, that he made it clear what it was that they needed to do. "If you make another aggressive move, the core will take full control and use us as its defense" Jyureimon continued. "If you truly want to end the corruption, you will have to defeat us. It will not be easy, this core has many, terrifying abilities. And, if as you say, you truly want to help us... please destroy us, eliminate the core, and allow us to be reconfigured in the Village of Beginnings".Jyureimon then turned to the spirit that had been a NeoDevimon, now an Impmon. However, he could detect that the digimon was a spirit, wielded by a human. "I shall see purity when the core is destroyed" he answered. It seemed that the JewelBeemon and Delumon could not speak, but their eyes looked pleadingly at them. "I'm afraid that is the situation as it stands" Jyureimon said. "If you feel you can defeat us, then attack. If you cannot, please, leave while you can. That is all I can say for now".
Quadric Beam was nullified by the Corrupted Core field. Attacks from the outside do not affect those inside. Three Perfect level digimon stand before you. JewelBeemon, Delumon and Jyureimon.

"Oh, there are plenty reasons that come to mind. Ignorance, xenophobia, fanaticism, plain old establishment folly." She responded with a very sarcastic tone to her voice, clearly abasing the owner of the incorporeal voice for a variety of reasons. The Sagitamon was not even sure if she could bother to listen to the nonsensical dribble it would try to feed them. She maybe would have tried to argue against it, but Casimeir and John already did a fantastic job hence she felt no need to add anything. Instead, she simply stood next to the human on the Greymon's muzzle, standing her ground.
Yet John also brought up an excellent point. Perhaps the dark entity, even in its bigotry, was capable of reason; after all it was talking to them. Though at first, it almost seemed like the aggressive Valeria ruined those chances by utilizing an attack, thankfully some sort of barrier caused it to fizzle into nothingness. Uncertain if Cion was supposed to applaud or scold her for her initiative, she simply decided to do nothing and let things occur naturally, allowing everyone to throw in their two scents before all dark area would probably break loose.
Not quite seeing the point of the NeoDevimon reverting into an Impmon, the only reaction the vulpine digimon had for a short moment was nostalgia, remembering her own times as an Impmon so many millennia ago. Snapping back into reality, she did not answer Isaac's question and would simply allow him to do as he pleased. Perhaps he had a different, far stronger form, or maybe he just gone a little insane from the black mist Ultimately, it was not of the biggest concern to her... yes. As long as they could end the corruption, everything else was secondary.
Already having the plan at hand, as Satoshi had reminded them, to destroy the flowers, the group slowly entered the new clearing. To Cion's surprise, they were greeted by three digimons of the Ultimate level who were not hostile at all. No, they too fell victim to the powers of the corruption, filling her heart both with ire and sorrow. Yes, that was indeed the prosperous and glorious future entities that hated humans and bound all minds to their will imagined, was it not? It was always the same with them; causing nothing but misery regardless of the impetus. No... she could not allows this suffering to continue; and she had never let it continue in all of her triumphs.
Quietly, the Sagitamon listened to the words the broken Jyureimon spoke, contemplating them. A core akin to a virus, likely sentient, of evil had befallen them? And the reason why it hated humans was not even self-misguidance, but some form of natural enmity? "Well... there goes the last shred of credibility and possible sympathy." She commented quietly yet firmly, her words meant directly for whatever the corruption truly was. It likely knew exactly what she meant with that, and what her stance towards it was.
But, this situation was nothing to joke about, and Cion took it as seriously as possible. These three victims were crying out for salvation by their hands, to be destroyed to gain another life free of the taint. "Won't you share the same fate of... just disappearing, as the Champions we fought before? Or were they just apparitions?" She asked, wanting to make sure that they would actually gain another incarnation. But even if not, they clearly did not want to continue like this. As long as they would not bring harm to another, they would be content.
"To defeat the corruption and free you, friends..." She spoke with utmost benevolence and determination in her voice as a sudden white aura engulfed her. It only took a second or two before her Ultimate form of a CyberSagitamon emerged; a digimon combining light and technology into digital purity. She was proud, stalwart and strong as she aimed her futuristic bow at Jyureimon, synthetic golden eyes never swaying. "... I will defeat you." She vowed, confident that the others would aid her in this difficult situation. Unfortunately, they had no cure to the plague that had taken these poor victims, and neither could they afford the luxury of hesitation.
"Nanomachine Zone." She whispered as her hands glowed in a gentle blue that soon spread out around them like the corruption, though it was limited to the size of a family home. Inside the zone of soothing energy, almost invisible constructs flew around aimlessly like golden sparks, sustaining the zone and in turn being sustained by it. She and her allies would quickly feel the pleasant sensation of a gentle white aura of protection without being encumbered by heavy armor.
And if their enemies would step inside, they would experience their stamina depleting slowly yet consistently. Yet she refused to attack from atop Casimeir's snout just yet, waiting for consensus to agree with her.

John's heart ached for the pleading Digimon, and he knew that Casimeir felt the same way. Here the duo had hoped that they could resolve the issue with the maze peacefully, but no. As far as they were told, there was an underlying, sinister force behind all of this which was slowly taking its hold over the area.
Multiple questions came to mind; what would happen if they beat the three Digimon? Would the corruption cease to be as the Cherrymon claimed? And like Cion had asked already, would they truly reform once defeated?
While somewhat green in the Digital World, John and Casimeir had their fair share of fights and experiences. Not once had Casimeir been ordered to, or even choose to, absorb the core of a fallen Digimon. So, they knew that Digimon never truly die, but are always reborn as long as the core remained unharmed. But never before had they come across corrupted cores. STill. Being freed from their curse was a much better fate for the poor souls.
"Very well," John stated with confidence. "Cas, let's do this." With a firm nod, being careful not to shake his passengers, the Greymon agreed. He bared his claws while fierce yet sorrow-filled eyes watched his foes.
"I'm sorry," Casimeir pleaded. "I'll make this as swift as possible." He too would wait until a unanimous decision was made for the group to attack. Although at this point, it looked like this was the path they were meant to follow.

Well, that went nowhere: as Valeria focused that 'Quadric Beam', the laser-type attack bounced off of some sort of barrier. Seeing her attack rebound through the forest's canopy, the golem closed her palm, cancelling her attack before it would cause collateral damage! "Well, there goes that idea - oh will you shut up, you stupid voice?!" Valeria's own mysterious metallic monotone rang out in response, Koneka giving a sigh as Ami pinched her sinus.
"Well, that's a thing..." Focus quickly returned to her expression. Soon enough, the three Digimon, each of them Ultimates from the forest, came into view. Compared to the voice a few moments ago, the three of them almost seemed sympathetic. They wanted to lose, to be defeated and freed from the core inside of each of them. Before Ami or Valeria could respond, though, Koneka felt the NeoDevimon glowing underneath her feet. "Hey, at least warn me - ah!" Before she ended up on top of the Impmon, she bounded off, landing comfortably inside the NanoMachine Zone.
It seemed that the group more-or-less had a consensus. Hearing the three's plea, Ami gave a nod. "Don't worry, we'll take care of it. Right, Val?"
"Um..." The golem tilted her head. "Yeah, sure, but can you let that other voice talk? You three sound all somber and polite, whereas whatever that core says really gets me in a 'hitting' mood." She was right in a sense: it would be much easier to clobber the heck out of whatever was in front of her if she didn't feel bad about doing so!

Isaac was afraid that it was going to come down to a fight to the death. The Cherrymon may have spoken for the group of Ultimates, but all three looked equally haggard and pleading as they begged for their own executions. Today, their role wasn't to be the cure. It was to be the immune system, brutally purging all bearing taint for the sake of the greater good. It was a fate everyone seemed ready to accept, from those doing the deed to those about to fall.
Bullshit.
Isaac had seen for himself what had happened to the Digimon in this maze. There was no Village of Beginnings. There was no egg. There was no relief from this plague. Their data simply withered and died as their minds did, melting into a disgusting goop before fading to nothingness. It was the day that Isaac's no kill policy had flown out the window, if only because he didn't even have a chance in the matter. Cherrymon still seemed to hold onto some form of hope, believing himself to go to the Village after, but what if the corruption's hold on him was also too strong? What if he wasn't even aware of the fate that befell the maze's other Digimon? Or, worse, what if he was simply clinging to hope nonetheless, even lying to himself?
Isaac looked down at the ground, clenching a fist. "We've fought other Digimon in here. They didn't even have that chance to return," he said, grimly. "If there's another way, I'll find it. Nobody else needs to die today. Until then . . ." He grimly raised his hand up, putting his bandanna over his mouth. Then he bit down.
In Isaac's mind's eye, he could see the form he was trying to call upon. Devidramon, ever-faithful, stood before him. However, after the Incident, how could he trust himself to use such a form again? The barely-restrained malice in the Devidramon's stance, the blood-red tint to its eyes and claws, the way cracks of red were visible through its dark flesh. D-Evidramon lurked right beneath the form's surface, and the last time Isaac trusted in Mikemon's pills to hold this corruption back he had paid the cost dearly. The pills had simply let him open the door safely; it was his responsibility to ensure everything came out of the other side cleanly, and he had failed at that. Yet with these Digimon's fates at stake, what other choice did he have? He held his arms open in invitation, as if beckoning Devidramon (D-Evidramon?) forward.
Then a blade wrapped around the beast's throat. Isaac looked up to see Yasyamon standing firmly behind it. The D-Reaper's corruption hadn't been very good to Yasyamon either. It's light blue skin had withered to a purplish grey, black veins spreading through its body. Its masked had cracked into an almost eye-like pattern. Its armaments, once in natural colors, now bore the sickly red of the D-Reaper. Despite the fear and the pain, however, it still held the unrestrained chaos of D-Evidramon back. It looked at Isaac, nodding.
There was still something left.
In Isaac's mind's eye, Devidramon and Yasyamon glowed a bright white, slowly starting to come together. In the real world, the Human and Beast spirits of Chaos did the same, the Human totem splintering to pieces before reforming around the Beast one. As the shards coalesced, they started to change as well. Yasyamon's mask settled on Devidramon's maw like a helmet. His bokken sharpened into samurai swords as they settled into Devidramon's claws. Devidramon's scales hardened into plates of armor, and the totem's pose changed from aggressive to contemplative.
The Fused spirit of Chaos had manifest for the second time ever, and this time Isaac was far more conscious of the process. He smirked as he, too, was lost in a white glow, the spirit sinking into his chest to mingle with his core. Slowly Isaac changed shape, shifting to match the figure that the totem had depicted. Long hair cascaded down his back as jagged armor stuck out from every part of his body, each plate adorned with a blade. With a slight twist his wrists he drew a pair of jagged blades, then dispersed the blinding light of Digivolution with a single flourish.
Isaac, now a Samudramon, stood poised and ready for combat. "Let's just get to the point," he said, waiting for his allies to give the signal to advance. The pills may have kept him on a strict time limit, but he didn't need any prodding to want to push past such an unpleasant deed.

Garurumon coughed as whatever was affecting him seemed to pass. "What the hell was that?" he wondered aloud. "I couldn't speak or anything!"
Satoshi, meanwhile, was more focused on the other Digimon in front of him. It seemed that combat was inevitable, but he wasn't sure that he'd be able to contribute much. He hopped off Garurumon and stood behind his partner. As the wolf strode in confidently, he looked over at John and wondered what his next move would be.

The people before them seemed to be worried that if they destroyed them, then they would disappear, never to be reconfigured. "While the Core lives, yes, our souls are bound to it" Jyureimon said. "But, destroy it, and we will all be free. Including those you faced in the labyrinth".The Corrupted Core had simply captured the data of the Mothmon and Zassoumon they had faced, absorbing them into its mass. However, the destruction of the core would allow them to be released. Only one digimon made a move so far, the CyberSagittamon creating a strange aura around her allies. Within the corrupted field, it worked. It seemed like those before them were willing to stand and fight. And they were quite powerful too, some with Mega level capabilities. Jyureimon would have smiled, but already, the core was beginning to take full control of his body. He struggled to regain control, but it was a losing battle. He wanted to tell them more, give them hints on how to beat them. He could only say one sentence. "Beware... the flowers!" he said, and then he was gone. His eyes returned to their red glow, as did JewelBeemon's and Delumon's. A rush of black data burst from them as the core of corrupted wood burst to full power. ( Boss Battle Theme) And then, at once, the three digimon made their first attack. First, JewelBeemon rushed at Cion, aiming her lance at her, and would aim a vicious slash with the thorny weapon. Then, Delumon turned to Jyureimon, raising his wings, then summoned countless darkened vines from the ground, which twisted around each other, forming a formidable spiked wall around the tree digimon. Lastly, Jyureimon tapped his cane on the ground next to him, sending another rush of thorny vines straight at Isaac, their rapidly growing tendrils aiming to ensnare him. Thus, the battle had begun. Signifying this, a red flower blossomed on the wall to the left of the party. Field Effect - Corrupted Wood

At least the had group had easily achieved consensus to finish the job, even if it meant the total annihilation of more digimons, although the way they reached it had been rather unfitting for the situation at hand. Casimeir and John were willing to do the deed while Isaac digivolved into a different form, likely to adapt to the predicament they found themselves in. Valeria was openly affected on an emotional level, preferring to vanquish an evil being and not its victims - and Satoshi and John were... there, which was fine and all.
"I see." Cion spoke quietly, bow drawn as she listened to the Jyureimon's words. If what he told them was true, then the only thing they had to do was to destroy the core to free everyone enslaved by it. It sounded simple, though they had to find it first and had no idea where to begin. Yet one thing was crystal clear - the group would not leave these three casualties to this dark fate. They would bring a temporary end to them and the corruption which blighted this realm. But there was a single thought on her mind which concerned her - was this the only corrupted place?
The CyberSagitamon shook her head, knowing that she had to keep her focus for the upcoming battle. Thankfully, her Nanomachine Zone remained despite the corruption, but it became obvious that their three 'adversaries' lost control over their own mind and body. It was time to end this, hopefully once and for all. JewelBeemon made a mad flight towards her, foolishly dashing towards her zone, possibly aware of her powerful supportive nature. "Keep your movement steady, Casimeir; and everyone scan the area for flowers! I'll keep you safe otherwise to the best of my abilities!" Cion instructed her companions, hoping they had common will to survive this fight.
"Prismatic Firewall!" The vulpine marksmon bellowed as she pushed her arm forward on top of the Greymon's hard muzzle. Directly in front of John's partner, a large, translucent firewall with a 180° curvature appeared. It was meant to protect everyone from attacks at hand by little the JewelBeemon crash into it or at least interrupting its movement, and by letting Jyureimon's thorny vines impact it with and not Isaac. Starting with many defensive abilities was always a good way to discourage opponents in the armored digimon's opinion... although she doubted that their adversaries were capable of thinking that way.
Making a back somersault, she leapt from her 'ride's' snout to the top of its head, a place were she had a better point of view and would not be disrupted as much by the colossal reptile's movement. And as it was typical, the silver warrior rapidly shot arrows of pure data at all three enemies, which would lodge inside their bodies to deal marginal non-lethal damage and impede their movement ever so slightly with every lodged arrow. "1..."

John's head snapped toward the red flower that grew upon the wall to the team's left. The human became concerned, remembering that these flowers had different effects. "Cas, what can you tell me about exactly what happened when you burned that red flower? We need to know."
Casimeir nodded softly, keeping in mind that Cion was still perched atop his skull. The Greymon thought hard, trying his best to remember every detail of what happened after destroying the flower. "The more I think about it...I remember that I felt as though I was unable to perform my Nova Blast again. Like it was temporarily erased from my core."
This news was understandably worrying for John. "So if you destroyed that flower, its attack makes you unable to use that move again?" Casimeir hummed as a response, confirming John's suspicion. The Digimon's answer raised a question; Should the pair risk losing the ability to use a fire-based move for a turn, the only ranged attack in the Greymon's arsenal, and keep their distance until they could use it? "Everyone, be careful! The red flowers make a move unusable for a while if you get rid of them!"
But instead of acting so hastily, John and Cas observed the actions of their unfortunately-corrupted foes. A strategy was needed, a good one at that. After a few moments, John's eyes fell to the wall of thorns around the Cherrymon. A recent memory flashed before John's eyes, how flammable the thorns were earlier in the maze. And if a tree was trapped within said fire...
"Cas! Burn those thorns down! Let's burn away that corruption!" Casimeir's eyes seemingly flashed with passion. Fire collected in his maw. Hot tongues of red and yellow licked along his ivory teeth, slipping out from between the Greymon's lips. "Nova Flame!" Casimeir released a grand fireball right at the wall of thorns that were meant to protect the Digimon within them. Champion or no, fire was fire. And wood was easily kindled.

Well, tensions were running high for someone here. Valeria's attention was already placed forward, the golem keeping its body facing the three perfect-level Digimon. Ami, meanwhile, kept her position a good deal back, currently behind the Greymon, ready to duck out of the barrier as necessary. Most in the group said their peace, ready to do what was necessary.
And then, there was the Impmon. Ever since leaving the demon's back, Koneka kept a careful eye on the imp - had the corruption gotten into his head, somehow? His expression was far darker, far more brutal than anyone else here. Carefully, Koneka listened to Isaac's monologue, and soon saw him bite down on something. Most would have let it go without a second thought.
The Gatomon knew better. After a moment's realization, she gave a slight gasp. Isaac wasn't corrupted from this forest, his data was already messed up from before - that was a 'Demon' pill! Her fangs bared slightly as the Impmon forced his way through his higher forms, the first two mere amalgamates of what they were. At the end, he somehow reached a point of stability in Samudramon.
"For the love of..." The Gatomon sighed, half-glaring in Isaac's direction. "I'm not going to ask how you got that, but keep your eyes forward." The last thing this Gatomon wanted to do was have to shoot an ally in the back, but if she had to...
... Well, not that there'd be much thought for that as it was! Those three Digimon soon fell to their curse, and as the eyes pulsed red, the metal golem clanged her fists together. If this was how it was going to be, then all they had to do was press their numbers and take out these three! At this thought, Koganemon darted forth, tearing towards that leafy bird like a charging linebacker. If Delumon wanted to use its time raising a shield for another Digimon, Valeria was going to use that opening!
"Hah!" With all the subtlety of a flying hammer, she extended a palm forth, sending forth a heavy, sharp golden spear towards the bird's center! If that wasn't enough, Valeria would carry her momentum, intent on smashing her shoulder against the bird head-on!
And as John gave the warning about the flower, Ami gave a nod. "Koneka, you're free - handle it!"
"Mm!" Without complaint, she peeled away from Isaac's position, and made a straight dash towards the flower. Her left paw gave a tight glow, and with a single swipe, she aimed to separate the bud from the root! "Lightning paw!"
Battle Log: 1) Valeria uses 'Gold Storm', targeting the bird! 2) Koneka uses 'Lightning Paw', targeting the red flower!

As powerful of a form as Samudramon was, it was also brand new to Isaac. Its battle stance still felt completely foreign to him, the heft of its swords far heavier than that of Yasyamon's and the weight of its armor far more overbearing than Devidramon's sleek scales. He had no idea what this Digimon's capabilities were, or even how it related to the two spirits that preceded it.
Worst of all, though, was the sheer emptiness he felt inside of it. As a spirit user, he was always used to feeling a sort of instinct gnawing in the back of his mind. Yasyamon had his unique quiet flair. Devidramon had his overwhelming forcefulness and enthusiasm. NeoDevimon had anxiety and paranoia, an all too present voice. Samudramon, as far as he knew, had nothing. Then again, the last time he had turned into Devidramon, his usual energy had instead become an almost primal bloodlust due to the D-Reaper's interference. The spirits themselves had some lingering corruption from how deeply Isaac's code had been manipulating, and perhaps Yasyamon holding Devidramon back in his vision was a lot more literal than he had expected. With the two spirits locked in the endless struggle of fusion, both of their corrupted voices had fallen silent.
Isaac hadn't realized how lonely it felt until it was too late.
His mind told him to jump a fraction of a second too late. He didn't expect how heavy his armor would be, or the fact that he would need his jump jets to prime first before he could even make takeoff. For that reason he would have been snared easily, the vines wrapping tightly around his legs and keeping him bound before Cherrymon. Only Cion's quick thinking stopped Isaac from being snatched, earning her a respectful nod of gratitude. Maybe he would've said more if he could have even found his voice in this form.
His jets kicked in, and before he knew it Isaac was airborne. It was fast. Far too fast. He was hurtling through the air at speeds that would have made Devidramon blush, and soon the battlefield was far beneath him. All he could think to do was lash out, take advantage of the offense being pressed to launch some sort of attack. Think, how did Digimon do this, again? Why couldn't Samudramon himself be there to guide him, just as his other spirits had before?
If anything, Isaac knew he couldn't take this for granted anymore. However, he also knew that the power he once borrowed he would now have to take. He squeezed his eyes shut, thinking of the closest analogy to this current emptiness that he possibly could.
Imp-losion.
At the thought, a spark fizzled at the edge of his blades. The sparks were small and feeble, but as he focused felt a power crackling through them. Perhaps it was like the Imp-losion, where he'd need to focus on the energy of the attack to make it detonate. Or, perhaps, it needed some other catalyst. He focused on the blades, crossing them together as he tried to find the secret to launching whatever new attack that he had dredged up.
Finally, he found it. As the sparks contacted they shot off, forming a trio of neon green arrows that rained down onto JewelBeemon. It wasn't the strongest move in Isaac's arsenal, he was sure, but at the very least it was something. He waited to see whether his attack would land or not, hovering in the air so that he could more easily avoid any incoming retribution.
After being shielded by Cion, Isaac uses Phosphorous Bow on JewelBeemon.

So it seemed that the battle had finally begun. Satoshi stood behind his Digimon, being careful to stay out of the way. Garurumon, meanwhile, was more than eager to sink his teeth into something. Quick thinking and observation caused him to conclude that the Delumon was the support of the team, and thus would need to be taken out first to make the battle a little simpler.
"Ice Cannon!" Garurumon shouted, shooting a huge blast of icy-cold energy straight at Delumon. If it worked, hopefully it would freeze the bird, allowing further attack.
Garurumon uses Ice Cannon on Delumon
Ice Cannon: Garurumon shoots a beam of icy energy at an opponent. If it hits, they will be frozen and unable to move for their next post. 2 post cooldown.

Ordinarily the Prismatic Firewall would have shielded from JewelBeemon's onslaught, but, there was one special property of her spear. It leaked a heavily corrosive data so that when JewelBeemon struck the firewall, it glowed with red light, eating away at the wall, before she was able to push through!
JewelBeemon's corrupted data allowed her to pierce through barriers and defenses. The only way Cion would have escaped the effect of the Atriplex Lance was if she had physically dodged. But that wasn't all.
Realizing that she was now in melee range of the group of enemies, she sought her next target. At once she raised a hand, which caused a violet spectral flower to bloom in front of her. She then aimed it at Valeria, then the flower opened and set forth a flurry of purple powder at the golem. This flower data had similar properties to the Yellow and Blue flowers combined into one, with the added effect of temporarily making her lose consciousness. That was unless she had a means of defence of couse.
While she was performing this attack, however, she did not react in time to evade Isaac's Phosphorous Bow, taking a direct hit. She grunted from its impact, but the damage was softened by the Corrupted field so she had only taken the equivalent of a strong Champion level attack.
Meanwhile, Casameirs flame ignited the thorny barrier in front of Jyureimon, but, like his flame had done on the forest around them earlier, the flames were quickly doused. However, Jyureimon's leaves in turn began to glow red with flame. However, he did not seem to be in any visible pain. Instead, he viciously shook his leaves, and set forth a shower of flaming wooden spears all over the battlefield - hundreds of burning arrows, accelerated by the corruption. His vicious motion meanwhile put out the flames, however, in doing so, he seemed slightly more pained as he leaned on his cane, indicating that he had done at least some damage. But the Rampart of Rose still remained intact.
Delumon meanwhile, was a small target. While his mind wasn't his, he still recognized the danger of such a huge and heavy digimon coming right at him, as well as the Garurumon's Ice Cannon heading straight toward him. Delumon then took to the air, evading Valeria's attack, flying above their heads, but the Ice Cannon hit his feet, freezing them at once. Ultimately though, he would thus need to remain airborne until his legs defrosted, else he would be in for a rough landing. And in turn, made an attack of his own, aiming at Casameir. He shook his tail vigorously, sending down a shower of sapping powder that would weaken his attacks if he let it affect him.
