Apollomon's desperate attempt to finish off one of the enemies had succeeded after a great assist from BlackJupitermon. "Woo!" Marshal cheered in their headspace. "That was awesome!" The aftermath from Afterburner was visible, with smoke coming out of the jewel where Apollomon shot the Sol Arrow, but he was still unharmed.
The Biomerged Digimon took a minute to survey the rest of the battle. Ryouta seemed to be in the middle of finishing off GigaSeadramon, but Ilbert and the other Apollomon seemed to be having some trouble with the unidentified Digimon. Apollomon tried to rush over to help out, but couldn't seem to move.
"What's going on?" Marshal wondered.
Coronamon looked over at him in the realm they shared while controlling Apollomon. "That was reckless," he chided. "We haven't tested the Afterburner enough to know what its drawbacks are."
"Well it worked, didn't it?" Marshal spat back. "We don't have time to focus on what the 'drawbacks' are."
While the two of them argued, their Apollomon form stood there, silent and unmoving. It probably wouldn't pass until whatever they were arguing about finished.

(OOC: Sorry, skipping Rors because it's been over 2 weeks).
BlackJupitermon watched with grim satisfaction as his Ultima Protos attack erupted and consumed the data of the NeoVamdemon, destroying his form utterly. He only hoped that when he was reconfigured afterward that he would come back as a better digimon.
As such, there were still enemy digimon present in the battle. The armored angel digimon searched around for signs of the others. In the sea below, Gigaseadramon was badly wounded, hopefully Ryouta was able to defeat him. But Charismon was still present.
BlackJupitermon then looked to see that his Apollomon comrade was currently immobile. "What's wrong? Why can't you move?" he asked, seeing that something seemed to be physically inhibiting him. Was it an effect of the attack he used? It did indeed seem quite powerful.
But the Charismon was still fighting. And BlackJupitermon had to assist with him. The Ion Storm still erupting in the skies around them, the lightning storm and the Ixion Clouds surrounding him charged up his next attack. He raised his hand to the skies, blue lightning arcing spectacularly, then with a cry of "Fall Ganymede!" he brought his hand down, and with it, a pillar of electricity would descend upon Charismon.
BlackJupitermon uses Fall Ganymede on Charismon.
Fall Ganymede: BlackJupitermon casts a powerful bolt of lightning on his opponent. For every Ixion Cloud that is present on the battlefield, damage is increased by 20%. (Ixion clouds present = 3, damage is increased by 60%. Boosted by Ion Storm by a further 30%.
Ability Effect: Ion Storm - Furthermore, all lightning element attacks used in battle are increased by 30% in damage intensity. Produces 1 Ixion Cloud for each turn that this is active.
Passive Ability: Unbreakable Alliance - The effect of BlackJupitermon's area-of-effect attacks do not harm those that he counts as allies in battle. When he uses one such attack, those fighting on his side gain transparent blue shields that protect them from damage and negative effects that BlackJupitermon uses.
Ixion Clouds: 3 - 3 = 0

The Charismon was too distracted to even react properly to the attack launched by Black Jupitermon. He was about to materialize a shield, but Ilbert's shell immediately hit him, making him distracted enough for the attack to hit. The Digimon shrieked in agony. Perhaps due to the attack it retained prior to the backup's battle, it was enough to destroy the Digimon. At the same time, deep down in the sea, Ryouta seem managed to destroy his opponent too. Some part of the sea immediately parted, following death throes of bisected Giga Seadramon. The teen looked so out of breath when he flew out of the parted sea, quick enough before it closed back in. Oxygen felt like a blessing after all that entire hell happened.
"...Whew, thanks guys..."
...Explanation can come later--and that was the plan... but something felt amiss. Even when the Everfall supposed to be place where the sea ended, something just felt out of place... the sound of the falling water was normal as always, yet the atmosphere was different. The moment Ryouta turned around, however...
It was too late.
Something like a laser passed through his stomach, too fast that even Ryu's armor was rendered powerless against it. Ryouta coughed blood, The wound was small, yet it was destructive enough that it cancelled the biomerge of the two. Ilbert, shocked at what happened was slightly late in catching the teen. Ryouta crashed to the water below. Meanwhile, Ryu was not in better condition at all...
"...Y-you..."
The data from the Digimons did not disappear because the attack was too strong... In fact, it gathered at one point, huge enough to open a portal. And from that portal, an armored knight came out. His look was like Poseidonmon, yet at the same time not. The shape was semi serpentine, with humanoid body on the head. Visor and helmet covered its head. Instead of trident, it equips a decorated harpoon that looked like a wicked relic.
"Deep Savers Archjudge... Igtelos!"
The moment Ryu uttered that name with such hatred, the area that is Everfall immediately wraps, now become stormy and filled with maelstrom. Ryouta and Ilbert still underneath... and it became clear that it's getting more and more dangerous.
The moment then the rain came, something that inside Black Jupitermon, most likely Luke portion would notice that something is wrong.

"Why do you always do this?" Coronamon asked, annoyance dripping from every word. "You know this is supposed to be a team effort. Why do you insist on keeping everything to yourself and not telling me what's going on?" Ever since Marshal had let some of his emotions out in that encounter with Mitsuko, Coronamon knew that he wasn't giving his all in the Biomerge and acting selfishly. Marshal, of course, would never admit it. "Why do you always assume something's going on?" he spat back. "Maybe I just want to take care of an enemy as soon as possible to avoid casualties. Ever think about that?""This is more than that," Coronamon interjected. "I know you're holding things back from me. What does that prove? If you don't just work with me here, everyone we care about is going to die-"
The moment was interrupted when the two of them finally focused for a moment to notice that Ryouta and Ryu had been gravely wounded. Not only that, but it seemed that a new enemy had appeared. "This is what I'm talking about!" Coronamon said. "We're not working together, and now Ryouta and Ryu are in trouble. Why won't you just open up and tell me what's going on?"Something in that instant finally broke Marshal, and caused him to snap. "I'm scared, okay?" he yelled. The words echoed in the headspace for what seemed like an eternity. Coronamon was admittedly taken aback. "You're...scared?" That didn't seem right, seeing as he was the one to usually act recklessly, but Marshal's tone made it seem genuine. "What do you possibly have to be scared of?"Marshal knew he couldn't back down from spilling everything to Coronamon now that he had outed himself, so he sighed. "I'm...scared of getting more attached. To you, to Finn, and everyone I've met here. I know I have a duty to the Digital World now that we're this strong, but...I've also got a duty to the real world. I'm going to college soon, and I still have no clue what I want to do with my life."
Coronamon was a little confused. "How does that make you not want to get attached to anything here?""Don't you get it?" Marshal snapped back. "I'm being pulled in two separate directions right now! If I go on to college, I won't be able to continue being a Tamer. If I stay here and focus on protecting the Digital World with you and everyone else, I don't have much of a future in the real world!""Why didn't you tell me about this?" Coronamon asked. "Why wouldn't you bring this to anyone?""I'm always the one that's calm and relaxed," Marshal replied. "If things got rough, I was almost always there to keep everyone's spirits up. I've gotta be there for everyone. How am I supposed to do that if I'm constantly telling everyone about how worried for the future I am?" At this point, tears were starting to form in the young man's eyes. What he was saying was the truth of how he felt, warts and all. This was a vulnerable side of Marshal that nobody, not even Coronamon, had seen before. Coronamon sighed. "You know, I've always admired that carefree attitude you put out," he said. "You always seemed so levelheaded and calm in the face of danger. The fact that you're just as afraid about all this as I am just confirms to me that you really are human!"Marshal immediately sported a look of confusion on his face. "What do you mean by that?" he asked. The little lion shook his head. "What I'm trying to say here is that you can't be expected to help everyone else out on your own if you can't manage to take care of yourself first! And if you can't do that, then that's what friends are here for! All you have to do is let us in." He extended his hand out to meet Marshal's once more. "What do you say? All that pain, all those things you've been bottling up, none of it will matter if we just take it on together."Marshal wiped away the tear from his face and stared at Coronamon's outstretched hand. Everything was out on the table now, so there was no reason to hold back any longer. "You asked for it," he chuckled, struggling to hold back a few remnants of tears. With a deep breath, he thrust his hand out and grabbed onto Coronamon's. For a moment, it seemed like nothing was going to change. Then, Coronamon felt it. The wave of emotion that came over him was unlike anything he had ever experienced. All of the things that Marshal was hiding from the world all coming to greet him at once was overwhelming, to say the least. He struggled for a moment to contain it all, but once he balanced it all out, a brilliant light began to shine between them, heralding something greater. Outside, the battle continued, but Apollomon was subtly...changing. It wasn't in an extravagant way like Digivolving, but something else entirely. The armor plating from his waist up began to chip away, revealing a toned, more bestial form. "Apollomon...True Synchronization!"The slightly changed version of Marshal and Coronamon's final form floated over the ocean, now back in the fight. It didn't seem like he was much stronger than before, if at all, but the new appearance signified a truly complete bond between Marshal and Coronamon. Taking a quick survey of what had happened in the fight while that whole mess resolved itself, Apollomon noticed that Charismon was also gone, and a new enemy instead took his place. In addition to that, it felt as if this enemy's mere presence was enough to weaken his power significantly. "Any ideas?" Coronamon asked Marshal, now ready to take part in whatever crazy idea he had hatched. "I have one, but it's risky," Marshal confirmed. "You sure you're ready for that?""I'll make an exception this time," Coronamon snarked back. Marshal smirked. "Awesome.""BlackJupitermon!" Apollomon shouted, now present and focused once more. "Get Ryouta and Ryu to safety. I'll hold this guy off the best I can while you get him to Daedalus!" Although things seemed to be stacked heavily against him, Apollomon didn't waver. It truly seemed as though he had a plan. He hoped that his friends would understand.

It seemed that all three of their enemies had fallen. BlackJupitermon was panting. His Ion Storm effect had mostly faded by now, he calmed a little at the satisfaction that he had helped save Ryouta, Ryu and Ilbert.
"Are you guys alright?" he asked them. "We need to-"
He was about to say 'Get back to shore' when all hell broke loose. A blast out of seemingly nowhere smashed through Ryu's biomerged form, doing so much injury that the biomerge instantly rejected Ryouta's body, sending him into the ocean below.
BlackJupitermon was in such shock that he didn't know how to react to this. He was shaken out of his state by the arrival of a fourth enemy. Ryu named him - Archjudge Igtelos. None of the three that made the super mega knew who that was, only that he was very, very bad news.
The part of BlackJupitermon's mind that was Luke's instantly felt the force of his presence. The air quickly shot up to saturation point. This was bad. The two Apollomons' power were all fire based. And worse, if he used lightning attacks, it would hurt everyone! And because Luke's mind was shared with Colin and Bellamy, BlackJupitermon knew instantly that he must not use such attacks.
Then, all at once, Apollomon transformed. He began to shine brighter. Had the situation not been this serious, Bellamy would have commented, but he did not dare let thoughts like that cross his mind, not when the situation was this serious. Apollomon then told him to get Ryu and Ryouta to safety. Back to Daedalus. "Alright" he responded. But he had to move fast. Ryouta was in the sea and Ryu was hurt. He would have to move to save both.
"Light of Europa!!" BlackJupitermon roared, and at once, a ray of blue light shot from his hand, straight at Ryu, then dove into the sea after Ryouta. He had to save him! The human was much more vulnerable than the digimon. He would not let Ryouta die out here.
BlackJupitermon plunged into the ocean. While ordinarily his armor would have weighed him down, his wings could guide him through the water, blessed with mobility. While yes, he still needed to breathe, he needed to find Ryouta under the churning sea. Immediately. And... yes! He could see him. BlackJupitermon approached, hoping he wasn't too late to save the young man, hoping he hadn't drowned or been fatally injured by the shot that broke the biomerge.
Ion Storm has ended.
BlackJupitermon uses Light of Europa on Ryu.
Light of Europa: BlackJupiter enriches himself or an ally with a divine blue energy, healing for a moderate amount, and reduces any active cooldowns by 1. [Cooldown: 2 posts]

The judge undaunted, his serpentine tail waves about wildly. Even in face of two super ultimates, it seem very confident in its chance to win. The Digimon stared at the Apollomon and then the Black Jupitermon... and finally, the wounded Slayerdramon.
"...Why are you tossing your life just for nonsensical fun?" the archjudge asked "Humans, by commending such power, what do you meant to achieve? Just how much longer do you want to shake the balance of the digital world? Human helped one another in solidarity, yet would that solidarity make you turn blind eyes on the criminals?"
"What are you even talking about, Igtelos," Ryu spat "I know this since long, but you judges doesn't make any sense!"
"Oh but I do. I only shot a non fatal wound to the boy. Slayerdramon--no, Prisoner Number 2035- Ryu... like I said during the war, your action is a self defense on top of unwittingly assisting a criminal who has destroyed some place in Digital World. Your crime should be easily pardoned by breaking your bond with the boy."
"And that's why I refuse!" Light of Europa has taken effect, and Ryu's wound mended. The Slayerdramon pointed his blade at the judge.
The judge sighs and twirl his spear lightly. "Pity... it's not like it's end of the world for you two, you know? You can just stay in human world, together, While not being bound, you can spend your daily lives as usual... isn't that desirable?"
"...And you'll turn blind eyes on the heinous crimes done by this side, Igtelos?"
"But didn't those side have an organization that can deal with it? DATS, is it? Ah, they're defunct... well, then, the new organization, AEGIS, can take its place... What we're doing are pretty much the same to your DATS. We're counterforce against human that gone too strong."
"And you will... eliminate three of us?"
"Of course not... provided that you are rational. You, Apollomon," he pointed at Marshal and Coronamon's biomerged form. "....Tell me, you hesitated back then, until you froze on spot... Does that means that you're having doubt, a fear of death, perhaps? Why are you tossing your life when you can easily sever bond to this world? Just destroy your Digivice, and the chosen will be no longer chosen, just a boy who will spend the rest of his days with his Coronamon friend. Isn't that quite ideal? Human's world is rather peaceful compared to Digital World... why do you shun such place for mere entertainment...? This world accepts you, yet I have seen too many humans treats this world as their playground, waving their sword haphazardly and put their morale in Digital World's standard. Human brings change, but not all that changes are what desired."
"You talk too much, Igtelos."
"On the contrary, I'm assessing where are our approach is wrong, you see.. Because why wouldn't human understand? They're a threat for us, and yet as long as they return to their world and break the bond with their Digimons, the part to evolve them, then they can just spend their days as usual with their partner. Is it that hard to understand? What is it that you lacks? Is it the power to evolve? What evolution needed in a peaceful world? It'll just create more and more unwanted destruction. Digital World is not peaceful, and therefore evolution is necessary..."
The tense air is still there, and Ryu know how much he hates these judges... and he suddenly noticed... that's why he can't stand force removal from DATS.

The new enemy was having a lengthy discussion with Ryu on something that Marshal was unable to follow, but the being known as Igtelos quickly turned his attention to him. He was suddenly bombarded with a speech about how human interaction in the Digital World was nothing but a detriment, and if he valued his life he'd give up.
"It's funny you say that," Apollomon said, speaking mostly as Marshal. "Not long before this, I had given up. I thought that I had been chosen by mistake, that I didn't deserve the power I had been given. I was lost for a while, and had removed myself from the Digital World entirely, but I finally realized that I had been foolish. The Digital World doesn't make mistakes. I'm not afraid of my destiny anymore."
He took his fighting stance again. "Before I was chosen, my life was lonely. If I hadn't met everyone when I did, I don't think I'd be here today. That's why I'm never running anymore! I swear I'll save those who've saved me!" His aura flared to life again, signaling that he was about to do something.
In the headspace, Coronamon was quiet. He had no idea how much Marshal had been through before meeting him. Based on what little information he had just heard, it seemed that things were a lot more complicated with him than they originally seemed.
"Now!" Apollomon shouted to BlackJupitermon. "Get them out of there!"

BlackJupitermon heard the Archjudge's and Apollomon's words even underwater. While he didn't mull over them, he remembered them. For now, he had to save Ryouta. The power of his wings propelling him through the water, he caught the muscular boy and looked around wildly. It was too far to the surface for Ryouta, but... Ilbert was right there!
He swam over to him, then with all his strength, slid open the compartment door, then closed it before too much of the sea went in. Hopefully Ilbert would be able to take Ryouta to safety. BlackJupitermon would have said words, but could not say anything underwater.
Then, the armored angel broke the surface, joining Ryu and Apollomon's side. Sea water dripped from his armor, but his power kept the water from his feathers, allowing him to regain his flying ability.
"We do not do this for fun" he said. "This is our duty. We do not aid criminals, we do not seek to take over the digital world, we simply aim to keep the peace in a fair and just manner".
Was this why the archjudge was attacking Ryouta? He... unwittingly aided a criminal? But no. That did not justify the judge's actions.
"You think giving up the bond that we have is that easy?" he asked, coldly. "That it's a simple decision that won't affect us in the long run, like giving up pets or parting ways with friends? No. It's too late for that. We have biomerged... we could only do so by having only the purest faith and trust in each other. The part of me that is Colin would be nothing but a husk without the parts of me that are Luke and Bellamy, and the same of the digimon. The same would be true of Ryouta and Ryu; and Marshal and Coronamon. Not only giving up the part of us that has bonded us together, but to take away the power we have to protect those we love, that is something we chosen are prepared to die for!"
These words did not come lightly. Colin knew very well that he had the option to simply go back to Earth and have Luke and Bellamy be his talking pet friends, but no. The friendship they had was much, much more than that.
"The leader of AEGIS is not powerful enough to replace DATS" Colin continued. "Until then, I intend to assist her and the rest of the group until they match my strength. So I will ask you to leave us in peace. This fighting is meaningless, unless you truly want to simply kill us all".
With that said, BlackJupitermon turned to Ryu and spoke so that the Archjudge couldn't hear over the storm. "Ryouta is safe, he's inside Ilbert" he told him. He heeded Apollomon's words, but, they could not escape unless the Archjudge let them. They would need to distract him enough for that. Could he and Apollomon keep him occupied while Ilbert, Ryouta and Ryu escaped?

Ryu sighed in relief... Even though so, he know that Igtelos could hear it so easily. Despite the storm, and the tempest, this Archjudge is the one who controls the ocean. Water is his eyes, and wind is his ears... But if there is any salvation in this condition, it was that Igtelos is Honorable.
"And by who were you told that this is your duty? That this is your responsibility, humans? Your duty was to raise your Digimons, and it should have stopped right there... yet you meddled in our world... for what reason? Who gave you permission to do so? All of these questions swirled inside my mind, and it create a storm within me. Do not take me wrong, child of man. I did not wish to bring ruin upon the other world, not I wish to end your life. All I wish is to keep the status quo of Digital World... I wish for Digimons to decide their own fate, without human meddling. Yet I understand that Digital World chose you for something... but when you get that strength, you start talking as if you have some responsibility to this world... Tell me, would you somehow would be happy if an outsider meddles with your society, so suddenly, with power unimaginable, parading like they are justice? First, are you sure that you're not being used? Or second... are you sure that you're justice?"
Igtelos pointed his spear at the two super ultimates and Ryu. "...Unfathomable... I don't understand why you are so affixed upon that power! If it's bond that you wanted, isn't it enough to not get even stronger that enough? Is it not enough to just build bridges between world? Yet you are so intent in being part of this world... but have you considered your actions, humans? Are your action really beneficial, or are you not drunk with power and unconsciously applied your standard over a Digimon's standard?"
"Aren't the same can be said about you?" Ryu shot back.
"I wouldn't deny that, yet I wouldn't say that it's outright right either. Unlike you human, we gave you proper autonomy in Digital World, something your fellow human decided to spit right in front of our face. Whatever happened to El Doradimon? You might have no idea, and I will not judge you for that... but once again, human, you have been drunk with power, and that power made you believe that you're destined to be more than just bridges between two world. Still, if you believe that power is rightfully yours..."
The sky above starting to storm once more, the Digimon is ready to fight.
"Then you have to fight and win. If the world is in your favor, then surely you will win. However, if the world scorns you, then you will be nothing before my power!"
This is Trial by Swords. Ryu did not think that he would get to this point, but... he readied his stance. It's an unfair fight... especially because Igtelos is like a raid boss that you need to fight in group.
"...Marshal, Coronamon, Luke, Bellamy, Colin..." he called them one by one. "............This is my order as your senior... Take aniki and leave. I'll deal with him."

Marshal was starting to get angered by this so-called judge's words. Even Coronamon, who typically kept a level head, was upset. "Maybe we don't know fully why we're here yet," Apollomon admitted, "but we wouldn't have been called here unless there was some sort of problem that the Digital World can't sort out on its own!"
Igtelos continued his tirade, attempting to take the moral high ground somehow. "I'm through talking about this." Apollomon appeared to begin charging an attack, but stopped when Ryu ordered him to leave with Ryouta. "Are you nuts?" the God Man questioned. "I can't leave you to take this guy on alone!"
In the headspace, though, Coronamon wasn't so sure. There was a look in Ryu's eyes, as if he was resigned to something. "Maybe we should give him what he wants," he suggested. "If we ignore orders again, it'll lead to big trouble for us later on."
Marshal, however, wasn't convinced. "This isn't the time to be concerned with stupid rules!" he cried. "This guy is way too dangerous to just leave to one of us, no matter who it is! Ryu may be tough, but he's behind a level now that Ryouta's out of commission."
The conversation continued, but the two finally reached a compromise. They nodded quietly and slowly began to back off. If things got nasty, though, they would be back in the fray instantly.

BlackJupitermon regarded Igtelos coldly. It hurt all the more because it was true - he hadn't been told by anyone that he could be here. It was simply his love and affection for his partners that he remained here - to help them grow, to support them, to be their friend and the one that would help them bring justice to the murder of the digimon they once were.
That was it. Colin had received permission from others of this world in fact. The two that had chosen him.
"The one named Colin did receive permission" he said. "From the digimon Luke and Bellamy. They asked me to stay with them, so I have. I care for them and help them, and they do the same for me. They wish to make their world a better place, and since I cannot improve Earth, I can at the very least help them make their dreams of a peaceful, fair world come true".
Who cares if Luke and Bellamy had no authority among these "judges"? Colin cared about their opinions more than Igtelus's.
"If the outsider makes my society better, yes, I would be fine with it" BlackJupitermon responded to that next question. "Obviously I wouldn't trust them at first, but if they earn my trust, then yes".
It was clear that they would get nowhere on this discussion. Yet they would not attack yet. But he felt he had to point out a flaw in the judge's logic. "The digimon can't help but be bound to the digivices. If I were to throw mine away, Luke and Bellamy would be Child levels for the rest of their lives. It would be a contradiction to end our bond together once we have reached our maximum strength".
Then the gauntlet was thrown. Igtelus seemed to want to challenge Ryu to single combat. BlackJupitermon immediately objected to this outrage.
"He is at Ultimate level! You are at Super Ultimate! That is NOT a fair battle!" he thundered. Ryu ordered him to take Ryouta and Ilbert and leave. The part of the biomerge that was Colin and Luke would have turned, but Bellamy was defiant.
"No!" he shouted, his soaked wings blown about by the high wind, but he remained airborne in the same position. "This is madness! Ryu's our comrade, our friend! We can't just leave him here because some misanthropic windbag wants to throw down with a digimon a level lower than him! If we go, he could absorb Ryu and Ryouta wouldn't have anyone left!"
Bellamy's feelings were so strong that Colin and Luke remained silent within the biomerge. "Ryu, please, don't accept this! I... don't want you to die".

"Perhaps Digital World have its trouble that need outsider's help, but haven't you human also bring new problems to it? Eldoradimon citizen have xenophobic behavior exactly because the human. At the same time, there are battles where humans are seen as destructive although they tried to help, for example, the Snowflake Village. Are you still content with that sort of view that destroys the relationship between two worlds?"
However, the revelation made the judge think for a while. "...Is that the case? That... was weird. Artagnar did not said this... If that was the case then it might be an error in approach indeed..."
...Artagnar, that made Ryu wonder what the hell did the judge of raging sea meant. "...Is he partnered?"
"Was," Igtelos humored the question. "He was a loyal one, a very loyal Digimon who trusted his partner. He has caused too many destruction. Artagnar believed that his partner was only going through a phase. A phase where he believed that he was the absolute strongest. However, it's not my place to tell you more than that"
A silence followed when Bellamy said his outburst. Ryu just at first looking at him sadly. There's a clear desire for the dragon to stay alive. Slowly, he closed his eyes, bracing to say something completely difficult. He know that he cannot pull them to the battle... and if he pulled the rest, they'll reset too. That's too much. When he opened his eyes, he glared at them.
"...This is an order, surely you understand what that means? I will not take a no. My partner is the most important person in my life. If you're still going to go against my wishes, then I will be forced to force teleport you guys. I will not repeat for the third time."
"Surely you jest," suddenly Igtelos said. "I'm not telling that I will kill this warrior mercilessly. A judge must be fair. Therefore, you may gave him portion of your data, for a temporary boost. Burst mode, have you ever heard of it? And I shall promise you by my honor that I will not absorb him. If you did not trust me, which is given, you can see. However, should you dive to the fray, then I will not hesitate to judge you too."
Ryu gritted his teeth. "...Your fairness making this harder, Igtelos."
"Your obstinate stance is what making this harder."

Apollomon looked on with sadness. Ryu was trying to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, and it didn't seem like he'd have a way out. Igtelos, still gracious, suggested giving some of their energy to Ryu so he could at least attempt to fight on an even playing field.
"...You'd better come back to us, Ryu," Apollomon said, extending his hand. At once, a huge pulse of data rushed toward his ally, giving him all the strength they could spare. How the battle would turn out now was anyone's guess, but it seemed that Apollomon was out of energy.

"I am content with our influence in this world as long as we strengthen each other, not push each other apart" BlackJupitermon retorted. "You claim that all humans create nothing but harm on the digital world - a fact that is absolutely not true. Your own prejudice is clouding your judgement. And you have the gall to call yourself a Judge?" he glared with dislike. "As I see it, barring us humans from having partners will only make the digital world a worse place".
It was Luke's mind that was dominant here now. "Digimon have been committing atrocities against each other since the beginning of time here and there has been no justice given" he said. "Two rookie digimon - Impy and Leky, were murdered by a criminal and that murderer has been allowed to walk free. Where was justice for them? Only one person has offered justice for that, and that person is my human partner".
It seemed that this Igtelos hesitated about the functions of the digivice. BlackJupitermon seized on this moment. "It seems you are unsure of something, Judge. How can you make a fair judgement if you do not know all of the relevant facts?"
He hoped that maybe this would wind down their impasse a little. Ryu then appeared to harden and order them away, but at least the judge was willing to act fairly. This made BlackJupitermon more willing to cooperate.
"Very well. I will restore Ryu and observe" he said. "And, I promise I will not interfere..." this was not made lightly, but he realized that if he did break orders, then that definitely would put Ryu's life in jeopardy, possibly from another judge. This had to be fair.
He turned to Ryu. "Teleport me away if you want, but your energy would be better spent teleporting Ryouta away to safety. Send him to Kongou Island, he'll be safe there" he advised.
Then Apollomon gave Ryu his energy, and BlackJupitermon did the same. "Light of Europa!" he called, infusing a part of his energy to Ryu, hoping he would be able to use it well.

With the two powers, Ryu's form changed drastically, looking as if he has ascended by power of burst evolution. Wings replaced his cape, jet boosters grow on the wings and his sword become a sectioned broadsword instead of a curved sword. Blue flames danced on his body... still, his back did not looked like a back of someone who would win. Ryu know one thing: It's impossible. Although they know each other's skills in depth, it's on different level. Igtelos was massively strong. To put it frankly, he was like a raid level superboss that you need to fight with at least five four-man cell party. Age and fighting experience has solidified the judge's power to absurd degree.
---
Sound of clashing blades reverberated. The sea parted and spun. Fire and lightning danced as water shot with unbelievable speed. Battle of Super Ultimates, the dances of sword and spear continued.
Thirty minutes has passed. Both sides not willing to go down. Ryu was the more battered one, however. His sword danced, meeting Igtelos' spear. The high pressurized water that came at him deftly cut by the swordplay of the dragon knight. The closer Ryu is to death, the stronger and faster he would become, this is the fighting style that Ryouta incorporated into him. Both him and his human partner is a reckless fighter, thus this was an ideal fighting style. However, despite the strengthening power, his heart was heavy.
Igtelos you bastard, Ryu thought your stiff honor is making this harder indeed.
To make the field play even, Ryu was aware the judge is turning off some of his passives. Weakening passives he employed was reduced in effectiveness... and he's not healing himself, Even field indeed. Why? Supposedly like all Digimon, Igtelos gets weaker the lower his health is... but even so, he's not healingng himself... Still, Ryu noticed.
The battle was a losing one. He managed to land several hits to the judge, but as he is a Digimon who has evolved with human on his side, Ryu knows that he's having it easier than Igtelos, who probably had to kill a lot to reach this stage. Their experience was on whole different level, it's like trying to compare a crack soldier with three wars under his belt and a war veteran of thousand wars.
...Yet he too noticed... The blade that aimed at him was not unclouded, a factor that played to his safety. Because his mask, Ryu cannot see what sort of expression the judge was wearing... but he know, Black Jupitermon's words has struck a nerve. Why is he clinging to the flawed logic? Why is he so desperate? On the other hand, while he thought these heavy thoughts, Ryu's blade is clear from any doubt.
I want to live, his entire being screamed I want to live and I want to drink Hikaru's brewed tea, I want to chat with Jeanne again, I want to spar with Hinomaru.. I want to hear Papa's jokes again... I want to hear Kon-chan and Warg bickers humorously again...
He raised his sword in an overhead stance. The battle climax is soon. Igtelos understood that he meant to finish this one with one move. Energy build up on both of their weapons.
Yuuki... Karin, Haru-chan, Kei-chan, Koutarou, Penny, Yuu, Kyo-chan, Aya, Mana-chan, Penny...
and then, his partner's face floated in his mind.
"...Aniki... here I go."
That moment, Ryu lowered his sword down, and at the same moment, Igtelos thrusted his spear. The clash of the two skill temporarily silenced all sound before the deafening explosion happened, when the clash ended, only one fighter fell to the sea below, that somehow has gone calm again.
..However, it was not the judge who harbored deep doubt in his mind that was fallen, but the knightly dragon that fell, his armor destroyed and fresh blood came out of his wound from the slash of the judge's spear. The judge however is not unharmed. A huge gaping wound could be seen.
"It was superb, Ryu..." the judge finally said. "...But it was not enough. Now as promised, do you have any last words?"
"...Just... several question... and a request.," Ryu squeezed out between dying coughs.
"...Speak," Igtelos told him, healing him just enough to let him talk.
"...Will you... and your fellow judges... stop hunting aniki...?"
"They won't... I assure you that."
"Will... Colin, Luke, Bellamy, also Marshal and Coronamon chased because they helped me?"
"No, they won't."
Ryu smiled slightly. "...Good... then, final request... Can you... promise me, upon your honor... to stop your cohorts from chasing our partners' family? Seven years... seven years they spent in that hellish island of Elysia, pulled in war that they does not want to be part of... So... can you please... spare them? They... needed their family more than anyone now."
Igtelos looked shaken, but nodded soon after. "I have no idea who did it, but I promise to stop them."
"...I will hold you on that, Igtelos..."
Ryu slowly stood up and tossed his weapon to Black Jupitermon.
"Hey boys, gave that to Aniki for me, would you? ...Tell him that I never regretted being his partner. He might be hotheaded and jump easily to situation that costs his life, but... I never regretted any of it. It was really fun and really happy moment for me to be his partner. If he got a new partner... tell him to never forgot Ryu, OK...?"
The dragon man hold his head up high and nodded to Igtelos who readied his spear.
"...I have seen your strong conviction, even when you lose... May fate intersect your life again with your beloved..."
With heavy heart, the judge about to plunge the spear in to the stomach but--
SWOOSH
In the end, what pierced Ryu's stomach was not the spear, but purple laser. The shocked expression of the dragon and the judge who halted his spear shown that this was not meant to be. More and more laser rained on the dragon, each and one of them passed through his armor so easily thanks to his clash with Igtelos. Ryu spat out blood and Igtelos looked so furious at this disgraceful execution.
"Ohohoho, looks like I'm right on time. Igtelos, I am here to assist you..."
"...Cligma, I don't need a help from A BASTARD LIKE YOU!! HOW DARE YOU DESECRATED MY JUST TRIAL!?"
The other judge revealed himself to be a rather flamboyant looking armored Digimon with leitmotif of a snake. Unlike Igtelos, his lower face is unmasked. The way to describe him is perhaps... cruel. If Igtelos is a just judge, then Cligma is definitely a corrupt judge, who kills for fun.
"Aaah, isn't it more like a game for you? C'mon, you should've known if you came at him seriously, this wouldn't even dragged to almost two hours. You're childish, Igtelos. It's as if you're a cat playing with its food. Hypocrisy at its best."
More and more laser rained at Ryu, causing the dragon to scream louder.
"I SAID STOP, CLIGMAAAAA!!"
In fury, the judge of water shoots high pressurized water at the other judge, who dodged and instead created a portal to send him elsewhere.
"Now now, where were we... ah, right... as I told Igtelos, you shouldn't play around with your food... alas, he won't listen."
Ryu stared at the judge with eyes filled with hatred, but the judge instead just smiled. "Yes, I like that, the look that a rat gave to the cat in its death... hatred, fury, despair... it's my favorite. Hee hee hee... Now, now, I have no idea what sort of nonsense are Igtelos feeding you, but once criminal always a criminal. Only death and total annihilation should be considered a proper punishment. Goodbye!"
With his long axe, Cligma beheaded the dragon. He was nearly about to absorb the data had Igtelos not returned suddenly and tossed his spear to its direction.
"CCCCCLIIIIIIIIIGMAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!"
"Oooh, someone is angry, scary, scary. But what a seventh like you can do to this third me, hmmm? Hehehe..."
Ryu's data did not immediately return to village of beginning. Him being an SU level Digimon, the data that should have gone instead created storm of energy, because it was trying its hardest to keep all that strength intact. But this means, it is going to be a free for all to absorb. Igtelos, looking at that instinctively moved to protect the data.
"....I can't believe that you dropped so low to this... I judged that Ryu and his partner, also his comrades as innocent! They will not live in fear anymore and free to roam in Digital World!"
"And if I override it? Remember, you're just seventh and I am third. I can fight you now and then. You know the rules, right?"
Igtelos roared in fury and moved in to clash with his fellow judge. Yet his wound did not heal. Cligma must have seen this as a chance to eliminate the other judge.
