Recon of Corruption [Silv|Invite]

Since evolving his partners to Mega, Colin had felt his sense of responsibility to the digital world increase significantly. While when he had first arrived here, they were simply onlookers and spectators, individuals not really expected to take part in things. But now, the Elecmon and Impmon he had become partners to were now capable of evolving to Mega level digimon, Fulminomon and Beelzemon. Furthermore, their Perfect level mercenary, Daedalus the AirVessemon, made them ultimately ideal for work that involved travelling and flying.
So, it seemed on their return to Whitewater after their adventures elsewhere, it seemed there was a communication in Colin's D-Terminal from a well placed source within PROFIT. And that communication had concerning news. Namely that there was something in the ocean that was attacking other marine digimon and sea vessels. Obviously such a force in the digital world needed to be investigated and stopped. And, with his partners reaching that level, Colin felt confident that he was the man for the job. Even if he had just turned 14, well, why would he have been given power if this was not the case?
"At the very least, we should at least do some recon about them" Luke said, the Elecmon a bit hesitant about all-in combat at this stage, especially considering what had happened over Whitewater recently. "I mean there's so much means for us to do that over in the sky now".
On that Colin agreed. Therefore he wanted to be prepared for the journey ahead. They would take as much time as they needed, so, Colin, Luke and Bellamy busied themselves in the shopping mall of Whitewater, getting themselves provisions for the journey ahead. According to the weather forecast, it would be a clear day ahead, they would need that. Luke and Bellamy were evolved to their Champion forms to help with the task, Luke becoming the red and white Flamedramon looking digimon Teslamon, and Bellamy looking like the grown-up Impmon wearing Flawizarmon clothing like the variant he was to that form. Before long, their hands and paws were full of food and equipment, and they were making their way back to Daedalus, who was waiting at the Whitewater Aerodrome. Obviously as a young looking human and tall champion digimon, they'd stand out in the crowd.

Business as usually, kan was given the go ahead to go back into the digital world once again from Gretal who he had basically time and time again left to go do things without. She was more tasked with the store than he was at this point, and the idle comments she made about learning his craft didn't go un-noticed. He had to admit having her as a helper would be great but for the meantime.. Business. The last time he had come to whitewater was a few years ago, so much had changed in that time that he barely recognized the place.
He had a map for the old whitewater, not really expecting as much to of changed as it did. When he came to once again the wrong area because of the map he put it away; a little frustrated that the shops that had been there were no longer there. In fact the digimon that had been running them were also no longer about. Feeling somewhat grumpy the man took a seat in what he presumed to be a shopping mall with how many digimon were bustling around.
He gained quite a few odd looks as he just sat there musing over what to do. He didn't really want to go back so soon, Gretal would know something was wrong. Maybe he could bring her something that would make it seem like he had been out? Shaking his head he leaned forward, eyes scanning the crowd. He'd frown ever so slightly when he was greeted with the sight of a younger human and a champion tier digimon. They seemed to be going somewhere with something in mind; he was curious and had nothing better to do. Figuring his day was more or less ruined in the most part; why not approach them?
Unless any of you have a better idea?
A chorus of no's greeted his query and the man chuckled before standing up. Padding after the youth with his hands in his pockets. Obviously looking intent to talk more than anything else, who would be stupid enough to fight someone in this zone? Especially with so many digimon around. It'd be something that would quickly derail no matter which side started it.
"Hey kid, fixing to go somewhere?"
Curiosity was evident, there wasn't any disdain in his voice in the least bit. Ever since joining up with profit he had to be a little more active with keeping a presentable appearance. Thus the well dress and decently trimmed hair. To anyone on the outside he would look like a business man. Which of course he absolutely was.

Luke's ears were the first to notice the words being spoken to them. And with his attention, along came Bellamy and Colin's. The three of them halted and turned to see what appeared to be a tall well-dressed businessman speaking to them.
However, since they could detect no malicious intent coming from him, neither Luke or Bellamy acted defensively, instead they watched with neutral expressions as Colin spoke.
"Heya" Colin said, looking up at the older man. While Colin had only recently turned 14, he felt just a little more confident in public with his partners around, especially with two digimon as tall and tough as his twin partners. "Yeah, I am actually" he answered, smiling. "I heard that there's some tricky business out there on the high seas... some digimon seems to have gone berserk. So me and my partners are going out there to investigate".
He took a closer look at the person that was talking to him. He didn't know exactly what it was, but, there seemed to be a kind of air of confidence and maturity about him. Even though he seemed to be older, well, he just seemed to be kind of 'at home' in the digital world. From the people Colin had met so far, those that were new to the way of things in the digital world were way different to those that were more experienced. Maybe this person knew something that could help them out?
"Ah yeah. I'm Colin James by the way" he said. "These are my partners Luke and Bellamy. You seem like you've been around... what's your name?"
Colin realized that he wasn't normally this outgoing. Was it because he had been around his partners for so long that they had rubbed off some of their confidence on him? Or maybe he was simply... growing up, and acted like he had seen his dad do in these situations? Well, at least this other guy had initiated conversation, so Colin wasn't going to be rude in fobbing him off.

Kan sometimes hated his curiosity, it often got the better of him. He couldn't help but wonder with all these kids wandering around in the digital world what their purpose really was. So it never hurt to ask those that you saw, or interact in some manner with those that you found. Unless he was on the job of course, priorities after all. He wasn't really on the job at this point so he had a free set of time. Furrowing his brow at the answer the shop-keep rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Huh, first thing I'm hearing about it. But I suppose that's what I get for being so business orientated. What sort of berserk? Indiscriminate attacks? Raids of odd locations, or are they just being highly territorial?"
He'd shake his head, feeling a little concerned. He really hoped it wasn't the last one, he didn't need to have more and more zones that he needed to stay out of. While the heat was certainly off of him; he didn't want to re blossom anything unnecessarily. The man chuckled softly at the introduction; tucking away the names in his head for future use.
"A pleasure Colin. My name is Uric Kan, but you can just call me Kan. Been around? You could say that, you could say that for the last decade or so. Time gets finicky in the digital world; so it's hard to keep track of dates sometimes. What of you? You seem to have pretty strong partners yourself so you must of been doing this for a good spell."
It had taken him quite a bit of time to get used to the time dilation effect the digital world seemed to have. Then again when you had denizens to help you with it; the process was much simpler and much much easier to manage. Cocking his head the man would give a small smile to the other.
"A Twin tamer huh? You're the third I've met as of late. Strange that there are so many but I suppose that just means more to protect people from the odd bits."

Ah, so this guy had some kind of business going? Colin was curious about that. He paused for a moment as he remembered Yuuki had warned him once about a lawyer with a Bearmon, but, Colin could see no Bearmons around, plus he wasn't sure that this guy was a lawyer, so, there was little to worry about there.
"Uh... I'm not entirely sure" Colin admitted. Luke thankfully was a bit more familiar with the situation.
"Given that the attacks happen over around the same area of the sea, I'd say it was territorial somehow" he said. "The reports are mostly similar, three digimon, either on boats or on their own propulsion, being marine digimon, were attacked by a wooden ship flying a black flag with a skull and crossbones, they were shot at by guns and cannons".
"Yeah, so, it seems like it's some kind of digimon pirate" Colin said. "But... this pirate is just attacking, not pillaging and looting like they normally do, which is... weird, from what I know of pirates anyway".
So this guy's name was Kan? And Ulric too. Colin was starting to think that whatever entity was bringing them to the digital world from Shibuya, it certainly wanted a diversity of humans.
"A decade? Wow" Colin remarked. "That's longer than Yuuki's been here. He's a friend of ours" he added hastily, hoping that wouldn't cause too much of a rift. Just Yuuki and Ryouta had been his oldest known acquaintances on the digital world in terms of experience.
"I've been here for nearly a year now" Colin said. "Well... at least it feels like a year... I still go back to Earth and go to school like I'm meant to" he chuckled. Bellamy seemed pleased at being called 'strong looking'.
So, twin tamers seemed like unusual things? "Huh, is that so?" Colin asked, glancing between Bellamy and Luke. He wasn't aware that they were kinda supposed to be rare as twins, but, then again, few digimon he had heard of had gone through what they had.
"Yeah, it's kinda quite the story of how we became twins..." Bellamy said, the Flawizarmon grinning, his sharp feline teeth visible. "Buut, that's probably a story for later. Yep, we'll always be there for Colin here" he put an arm around his partner's shoulders, glad that he was still slightly taller than him in his champion form at least.

Kan rubbed his neck a little bit; colin didn't seem to know what exactly. But thankfully for him; one of his partners knew more. Then again they all likely shared information which would certainly bode well for the group as a while. He'd tilt his head ever so slightly as Luke explained, the human's eyes flashing with curiosity as he did so.
"That's odd. So their behavior is strange and they don't even take anything? What a waste. Doesn't help I dislike pirates as is. Might make the seas hard to travel, not like it already isn't."
Kan shook his head and grumbled; he disliked people that stole things generally. Being a shopkeep meant you were very possessive of the things that you had. whether or not it was something that you were actually selling. He'd frown slightly and rub his head; he didn't like this in the least bit. He hadn't heard of this person that Colin spoke of, this yuuki person.
"Can't say that I've heard of them, two world's are a big place after all. A decade isn't alot for us, but for the digimon I'd imagine it's something of a nightmare if they don't go back home."
He'd chuckle and shake his head; if he had met every single tamer, spirit or digimon that have been some form of hero or villain he would of spent more time talking than actually getting anything done.
"Juggling the human world's problems with this one can be a pain at first, took me almost three years to manage my shop and my spirits."
A small chuckle; he still could remember the rather bad days. Where he wouldn't get control at all while his spirits were still being problematic. Back before this current set. Dark times to say the least. He'd nod at the question; they were supposed to be rare right? Well twins at least, same with tamers.
"yeah. I met a spirit set of twins, a solo human with two digimon partners and then there's you. It's kind of strange you know?"
Another shrug and he looked towards bellamy. The Flawizarmon getting a quick smile in return. They were close with it only being a year? that's a good culture to say the least; kids were quick to adapt. Adults seemed to have trouble with the digital world. At least most of them did.
"I can imagine so, every group has a story."
He'd pause and frown after a few moments, rubbing his chin thoughtfully the human checked his wristwatch. He didn't have to be home for quite some time. it was certainly a boon to say the least with this whole time dilation.
"So you're just going to investigate? Not take care of them out there? You'd probably have an easy time. I'd imagine that you have a few friends coming with you to do so?"

“Ugh, yeah, I hate goin’ out to sea” Bellamy agreed, scowling in the direction of the ocean. “It’s just so... uh...”
“Drowny?” Luke said, smirking as he gave that word.
“Yeah, whatever. And full of nasty stuff too” the Flawizarmon continued. “Although Colin taught Luke and I how to swim a little bit so that’s all cool. Oh yeah, we can also fly now so no need to go anywhere near the water, heh heh”.
“Speaking of...” Colin said, beginning to walk forward. He had heard enough from Kan to trust him a little. “We’ll be taking a look overhead with our AirVessemon merc. I’m not sure if you heard of a digimon like that, he used to be a Blimpmon before he evolved...”
“Yeah, we gave him a name after a while” Luke said. “Daedalus. Mainly because Blimpmon rhymes with Impmon”.
“It’s a shame he evolved before we could get production started on the film” Bellamy sighed wistfully. “Impmon on a Blimpmon, woulda sold well at the box office I think”.
He hadn’t heard of Yuuki? That was okay. “He’s a guy with black hair, red eyes and his partner’s a Dorumon in a kilt” Luke said. “They’re friends of ours”.
“Spirit set of twins? You don’t mean Elliot and Isaac do you?” Colin asked. He liked those two. As for the other solo human with twins, that could be anyone really. Timothy, Koharu... well, there were lots of twins that Colin knew of.
So, how would they do this? “Yeah... I mean they could be Super-Mega class digimon, and we don’t really want to risk things by going too close” Colin explained. “And all of our friends are occupied at the moment, so, guess it’s just us three...” he hesitated, then thought it’d be nice to make the offer. He noticed Kan seemed curious about their mission after all. “You’re welcome to come with us if you want” he added.
By now they were in view of Daedalus, who was patiently hovering on the ground. He was quite a big machine digimon, although most of that was his helium tank compartment. 150 meters long, resembling a wooden sailing ship with propellers and wings instead of sails.

"Been only really in the sea once or twice, So I suppose I can share that sentiment."
Kan would give a loose chuckle, running a hand through his hair. His eyes flicking his eyes from the chatting digimon to the Human teen. The latter of which having his attention. Idly patting his pocket that had the digivice in it; he'd shake his head. He hadn't heard of a digimon like that; he knew of larger mons that could be used as transportation but that was about it.
"I haven't no. But then again I haven't heard of many a thing; that's to be expected however. It's a fitting name I suppose."
Kan felt his eyebrows raise when the two digimon continued to talk, their explanations were noted and the spirit user leaned just a little bit taking in the three another time. Their information regarding this yuuki fellow was stored away, he didn't know what they had looked like and he didn't know of them. Now he even knew what partner they had; useful knowledge if he was to ever meet them.
"Well, If I ever see them I'll say hello."
He'd chuckle a bit and nod when colin inquired about the twins. Kan shrugged slightly and shifted just a bit. He knew a good handful of information about the twins; they were rather keen to share especially after their conversations.
"Yes, We've spoken a number of times. They're good kids."
Kan admitted plainly, a shrug rolling off of his shoulders. They were good kids sure, but they were certainly had to deal with more stuff than he did at the start. At least his beast spirit was further in his career than theirs. It was no doubtfully rough for them.
"Possible super mega huh?"
He'd frown slightly; finding that was a high guess; he'd bet if it was a pirate ship that there would likely be two champions and a ultimate at the very least. Sending in super mega's might be overkill, but what did he truely know?
"Well seeing as it's just the three of you, It'd behoove me to assist you in such an event wouldn't it?"
He'd chuckle and find himself looking upon the large machine digimon. It was absolutely gigantic; one of the largest digimon that he had ever seen actually. Most of the digimon he had seen weren't anything like this. He didn't see the harm of sharing a little information to the youth; if he was to help him he might as well know what Kan was capable of.
"The highest form that I can give is an A-Hybrid spirit, better known as mega. They can fly, phase through solid objects and most of them are good for close quarters."
He'd inspect the large digimon that seemed to be waiting for the three; well now four of them. It would be a dead give away of them arriving but... Something told him that the youth had a good plan.
"He's certainly a big one."

"Huh, is that right?" Bellamy asked Kan as he mentioned he had spoken to Elliot and Isaac a lot. "Yannow out of all the people we've met so far, those two seem one of the most connected"."Well, Bells, we've only been around for 9 months" Luke pointed out. "And humans had been adventuring around here for about 10 years, so, obviously we may have missed out on a lot of stuff... like, remember when we were helping clean up the Network Plains after some battle happened there a year earlier?""Oh yeah, forgot about that" Bellamy admitted. Then Kan seemed to be concerned about the mention of possible super megas. "I mean, it can happen sometimes, right?" Luke said. "A digimon bides their time and learns to evolve, then de-digivolve. They could walk around as Perfect levels, but have the capability of evolving to Mega or even Super-Mega. It's a powerful weapon of deception, something that we need to plan for and ensure that they're not capable of that".This was something Colin always feared, that one day they would face a wrongdoing Perfect level, who would prove to actually be more powerful than them and proceed to devastate them. That had not happened yet, however. But to their surprise, Kan seemed to be willing to go with them. "Really?" Colin asked, then grinned. "Heh, thanks. This means a lot, hopefully we can make it worth your while somehow". While they didn't have any cash at hand, well, they were willing to grant Kan all the comforts available aboard Daedalus while he was with them. Then Kan mentioned to Colin what his capabilities were. He was a spirit wielder with an A-Hybrid - equal to a Mega level. Colin felt a little bit of relief at that. "Heh, that's good to know" he said. So Kan was at the same level as Luke and Bellamy here. As they approached, Daedalus noticed that they were now a group of four. "Do we have a guest, sir?" he asked, politely. "Yeah. His name is Kan and he wants to help us out on the recon mission" Colin replied. "Very well, he is welcome aboard then" Daedalus said, and lowered the stairs into his cabin. The first thing they would notice upon entering was a grand looking entrance hall, with doors leading to the sleeping cabins, stairs leading to the upper deck, and a doorway heading into the lounge and galley area. Stairs leading down would enter the engine and storage area, but there was no need to go there at the moment. "So then, we'd best sit down in the lounge cabin for take off" Bellamy said, the Flawizarmon carrying the goods through the door. From the lounge, he'd deposit the goods in the galley. They would have food supply for about a week now. The lounge cabin was voluminous and comfortable, with a large television on the back wall. It was currently displaying an overall map of the area, showing that Daedalus was primed and ready for their mission.

"Yes that's right. It's not surprising is it? they are rather personable."
Kan found his attention drawn to luke for a short span, the brief explanation to their twin making the human frown ever so slightly. They weren't wrong in the least bit, in fact it had took years for the spirit user to figure that one out. Then again there were far less people running around in the digital world when he started it felt. Or maybe he just was bad at noticing them early on?
"You're not wrong there. Though from my experience most digimon that can manage that level tend to stay in it. Something about an aura of fear or superiority."
Kan knew he wasn't the biggest fish in the pond; but he also knew of a few others that weren't quite up to his level either. It was a strange feeling honestly; being caught in the middle ground still after all this time. He'd flash a small smile at colin, when the youth seemed rather surprised that he had agreed to go along.
"I wouldn't say it otherwise."
He'd blink slowly and shake his head rather firmly. The knowledge of a group of digimon roaming around on the seas raising trouble and attacking people were problematic in themselves. What if more people joined their banner? Could make a real nuisance of trying to travel by sea.
"It's nothing dramatic, just pirates. Leave them alone for too long and it gets far far worse."
The man would shrug; he'd have to guess that these digimon were at least ultimate tier to even thing about scouting out for possible super megas. A pair of digimon like this might be able to make a good headway on them if they were careful... Very careful. When Daedalus spoke kan's eyebrows furrowed a bit; the trailmon that he had always ridden upon were fairly quiet this was the first time he'd of heard something this large speak. It was rather polite and courteous; the spirit user followed after the group taking in the entrance hall once they were within.
"All right."
He wasn't sure how long they'd actually be in flight, but the human did find himself comfortably sitting in one of the many seats. A hand ran through his hair and the spirit user found himself eyeing the map. This was certainly useful; and was giving the human even more ideas for something he had been planning for the future.
"Is this the area we're going to?"

Luke pondered those words. While yes, an aura of superiority was something that a typical megalomaniac would want, well, he hadn't seen much megalomaniacs around either. "I might be presuming things here, but, the bad guys might be learning from this situation too" he said. "The ones that show off their full power frequently would be more easy to take down. Those that hide in the shadows meanwhile and always remain a level beneath their full capabilities? Well... those would be very dangerous".
"Ugh, man, that's the worst" Bellamy said, shuddering. "I've watched heaps of movies where the big bad digivolves to their strongest form in the final battle, I'm surprised more digimon don't think of that".
Indeed, Bellamy had spent many nights aboard Daedalus's lounge watching these kinds of action thriller movies. He'd be surprised if other digimon didn't get that idea to do the same. In the more poorly written ones he'd sometimes root for the villain, especially if the hero was some idiot. But, in Bellamy's knowledge of digital world movies, it was all too easy for the bad guy to get the upper hand through the good side's overconfidence, and only when they took them seriously were they able to take them down. Complacency was the ultimate foil of the good side after all.
"Yeah, we hope it's just pirates" Luke said, hesitantly.
When Daedalus spoke, it was in a gentle voice over the intercoms in his cabin. Of course, he had no mouth to truly speak, but, the airship digimon held this capability for those aboard. He would warn them of any impending danger, and advise them of the answer to the question "Are we there yet?".
When seated in the cabin, the map lit up with a circle of yellow highlighted in the seas south of Whitewater.
"Yep, that's it" Colin said. "It'll probably be half an hour before we reach there though". Colin had got used to Daedalus's estimated times of arrival by now.
Colin wasn't really willing to spend that time in silence, so he thought he might take the opportunity to talk to Kan a bit more. He was sure to be seated during liftoff though. Daedalus's engines sped up and the airship digimon began to rise from the ground. Soon, the engines kicked in in full, and they took to the skies, flying around 1000 ft above sea level. Daedalus then levelled out, heading toward the zone of hostility.
"So, uh, Kan...?" Colin asked the older man, a bit nervously since he was so much bigger and older than him. "What kind of adventures have you gone through so far in the digital world? You seem like you might have gone through a lot..."

"They of course would, I would be very surprised if they weren't. They have to learn all sorts of underhanded techniques in order to stay on par with the 'good guys'. But you're not wrong at all to say the least."
Kan would raise his eyebrows ever so slightly at the mention of movies; there were digital movies of this stuff? That was a surprise, but at the same time it was something he should really expect at this point. To be fair he had been out and about rather out of the loop for a good while. Movies just didn't seem like a thing with the group that he had been working with anyways.
"Huh. Surprised a human here hasn't tried to take the movies to the human world yet. Would make a killing off of the box market."
He'd snort softly and shake his head; maybe they had come from the human world and were already hits? Who knew really; he didn't really pay attention to movies and telivision anymore. He had too much work to really do that. The voice from the intercoms made Kan look around curiously; figuring that it was their "ride" that was speaking. He'd snort at the last part; knowing full well not to ask something like that.
"If not, this is going to be one hell of a rough time."
Kan would peer at map; the highlighted circle easily catching his attention. He'd nod slowly; looking from the youth to the map once or twice. He'd lean back in his seat shaking his head just a little bit. This was something he'd have to consider implementing in the ship. It'd take some doing but lord would it be worth it.
After they took off he found himself posed a question by the youth; his eyebrows raising ever so slightly at that nervous attention grab at the start. There was no real reason to be nervous was there? He was here to help. At the question he'd ponder how best to answer; mixed with the statement following it made for a certain air of expectancy he wasn't sure he could meet.
"Kind of adventures... Hmm. Mostly my youth was me getting things figured out; trying to find out where I belonged. Made a whole bunch of rash decisions as you can imagine. I was a bit older than you are now probably when I got this whole digital business started.
He'd idly tap his fingers on his leg; thinking things through a little more.
"Learned alot about the digital world really, mostly just exploring and interacting with it's citzens. Most of the time it was easy, people were nice even though I wasn't. Most of my adventures as you could call it were me running away from some larger much more powerful pissed off digimon or some form of human spirit, tamer whatever."
He'd chuckle softly and shake his head; those were the good days to say the least. Where he was more carefree; a lot less restricted than he was now.
"But as you can imagine, people grow. They find things to their liking or they find their problems with all sorts of things. Mine when I was still a little younger than I am now, a good five or so years back decided it was for the best to hook up with a dangerous group they liked the powers I had and the company I kept so they offered me a place with them. Being younger and more foolish I accepted. We did many a stupid thing, but I think our crowning achievement was the attempt of removing a government from one of the major cities. You can imagine how that went."
He'd shrug idly; obviously the human had worked past the incident. He payed some kind of price for that right...?
"Really the last few years have been a sweltering amount of boredom. Trying to keep my business afloat in the human world while doing business here. You'd be surprised with how many digimon need repairs and how many don't know how to fix things."

"Heh, well, I guess there ain't much of a market on Earth for 'em" Bellamy remarked, the Flawizarmon putting his feet up on a footrest as Daedalus entered cruising speed. "Your human movies tend to involve humans after all. And eh, we digimon are kinda new to the movie scene anyway".
Indeed, it was an industry that was "borrowed" from the humans after all. But mostly involved putting to screen the hopes and dreams of all of digimonkind, that one day they'd digivolve, find friendship or even love.
The three of them listened to Kan's story as Whitewater disappeared over the horizon behind them. Colin was fascinated by this story.
"I see, that's neat" he said. Although the story got a bit darker when Kan mentioned he got caught up with a more shady group, attempting to overthrow a city government. "Oh wow..." he said.
"I can relate to that" Bellamy said, the grin fading from the Flawizarmon's face. "Before I met Luke in my previous life, I was... a real jerk" he looked to the side.
"Yeah, but there was enough good in him to turn into the sweet family mon he is now" Luke said, playfully mussing Bellamy's hair, dislodging his hat. Bellamy batted his arm away, but smirked again, putting his hat back on.
"Heh, that's right" Colin agreed. "And how did that go? I take it you're not affiliated with them anymore?" he asked, hopefully. If not, well, they'd cross that bridge when they came to it.
"Eh, that's not really surprising, not much digimon have hands" Luke said, the Teslamon holding up his paw as proof. All that was on it was four long claws. It was all he could do to hold his spear in combat, let alone delicately use tools. "Even if I'm kind of an engineer myself, I rely on Colin to help me out with stuff like that".
Colin nodded to affirm that this was true. When working, Luke would instruct him what needed to be done with small repairs. It slowed things down a bit, but, they managed. "I see, wow, guess you've had your fair share of adventures then" he remarked to Kan. "Us? Well, we've mostly been doing work for a group called PROFIT. Have you heard of them?"
If not, he'd explain a bit more about them before continuing on with a summary of his adventures with Luke and Bellamy.

"Sci-fi fantasy has always been a big hit with the younger groupings. Which digimon would honestly fall into it."
He'd rub the back of his neck a little bit; it seemed kind of silly thinking it over. But many an event in the digital world would be a wonderful movie fromt he right side. It didn't matter who made it or who wanted it to be seen. He'd sigh slightly from the reaction from colin, the first bit seemed normal while the last he had to admit that... he was somewhat dissapointed in himself.
"Well the past is the past. You can't really.. change that and I wouldn't of guessed Bellamy."
He gave a small shrug and pause when colin asked about his affiliation with the group. As well as how it went. How did it go? He had been late to the party and he hadn't seen any of the members since the end. He had barely gotten there to only see the end results. He'd shake his head slowly; knowing that the fight in the end must of been incredibly rough.
"Vexus has been dead for years, If anything I'd be the only surviving member. I would like to say that I'm no longer affiliated with them, but they're not the kind of group to let membership just vanish. So if there are any around still.. I'd likely be contacted by them. Which would go poorly for me considering that I wasn't the strongest one out of the lot of them."
He'd glance over at Luke, eyeing the digimon's hand. The long claws that he had made the man shiver, he could imagine that the digimon was incredibly dangerous. Those would hurt really badly if they were used on unprotected creatures or the like. Though the fact that luke was an engineer certainly got a strange look from the man. At the mention of PROFIT kan felt a soft chuckle run through him. Oh the amount of people he had run into that had said somethign about profit now...
"Being a member of them, I'd hope that I had heard of them."
Kan would shoot colin a grin before running his hand through his hair. The man had joined more out of curiosity for a device that the "boss" wanted him to look at. He wasn't going to divulge what it was or what he was going to work on however. Just that he was a member at this point.
"Small place innit?"

"Hmm, true" Bellamy mused, looking like he was deep in thought about something. Namely about some kind of movie enterprise to air in Earth? The Flawizarmon kind of wondered how an audience of humans would see a movie about digimon. Maybe they'd even enjoy it?
That was true, the past couldn't be changed. The reaction between the three was varied. Bellamy was merely curious as to Kan's story, not really wanting to judge him. Luke's was more cautious, the Teslamon a bit unsure if Kan's troubles would cause them troubles. And Colin meanwhile was somewhere between the two. He'd listen for more information.
"I've never heard of Vexus to be honest" Colin admitted. But, from what he could tell, it seemed to be some radical gang that never forgot its members?
"Oh geez" Bellamy said, sighing. "Well I hope they don't come back... believe me, I know what it's like to have a past like that catch up on you all at once".
He shared a sad, dark expression with Luke. A similar thing had happened to them. While they had been reconfigured as twins afterward, they had never forgot the pain from that event. It was this silent exchange that dissuaded Luke from opening his mouth and asking further questions on the matter. He understood what his brother's eyes were telling him. That was not their business.
But Kan's next words distracted all three of them. "Eh? You're in PROFIT too?" Colin asked, surprised. "Heh. Man, this group really should have a kind of company dinner sometime, I really had no idea" he chuckled.
At once, Colin's hesitations about Kan lifted. If he was worthy of being in the same group as him, Koharu, Marshal, Yuu, all the other nice people that had joined, well, he deserved the benefit of the doubt.
"Guess it is a small place" Colin grinned. He glanced at the area map, it was still a little while until they would reach the target zone. "So, how did you come across PROFIT?" he asked, curiously.
