Having finished the meal, Dante went to pay for the food and the room. 150 bits for the food, and 200 for the room, for a total of 370 bits. That must have been including tax. At any rate, it was a pretty good deal. K took out a strange device that displayed the numbers in the air. Dante was happy to have found such a nice inn, and looked forward to coming back here while traveling out in the Digital World. And the warm laundry is a nice bonus.
Apparently both Wormmon and Dante knew more about time wasters, I mean, uh, videogames... than K and Ban. Like Dante said, with so much ground to cover, he could talk about different video games on and on. The biggest problem with games being that once you are playing one, that means you're not playing a different game. Baseball, or Basketball? Last Odyssey or Grindcraft? The selection was vast, for sure. Dante goes to the room to check things out. He sets his bag down on the table and walks back to the dining area. With it still pouring down rain, Dante couldn't just walk outside for a smoke. The wind alone would blow the lighter out, and the rain? Ugh. Dante would just have to control his urge to smoke until the storm passed. That or find a covered area outside.
Ban asks K how old the inn is and how long she has worked here. "Good question. Didn't you say that you just started here a while ago, K?" "One thing that would make this inn better is if you could change locations on the fly. The first portable inn! Imagine the money." "Not a bad idea. If only that was possible." Wormmon's conceptual idea would have to stay in the research and development phase for now. "That would make this inn so cool. You know what else would? Lots of hot chicks." "What do you mean? Like customers? Or do you want K to pay a bunch of models to stand around in their underwear to amuse you?" "I didn't know that was an option! Ya let's do that." "Goddess of Destruction, not Economics." "What about my portable inn idea? I'm a shrewd business Worm."

"That it is. And all right."
She'd pause and look over the numbers again, making sure that she had added them up correctly. She'd frown slightly however when he asked how long the inn had stood along with how long she had worked here. She'd give a small earnest smile and turn back to him; there was a tiredness but warmth laying past that. Like someone that had been through so much already but was still on the road rather than someone whom had set up where they wanted to be. The human and their digital companion spoke somewhat answering her question for her but she had to re-iterate.
"Did I? I uh. Well. Somehwat. Started a while ago, whenever that Holy digital war was. Just a little bit after it, couldn't be longer than ten years or so. I was the one to build the place; with my bits and what not."
She answer simply before turning to her pad again feeling her frown run across her lips. A flying inn? sounded more like a cruise liner more than anything. She'd shake her head and chuckle.
"We don't make enough money for hiring unnecessary staff. I do just fine doing the serving and if we ever get busy enough Canton comes out to assist. As for a flying inn, that'd be more in line with a cruise ship more than anything no?"
She'd pause to consider something and shake her head.
"That and I don't think the locals would appreciate the idea of me hiring staff like that. They're shrewd folk and don't deal with outsiders very well, but they appreciate the revenue more than anything."

Ban nodded, his ear twitching, in the movement, before he peered up at her, "Well, if you built this place yourself, with your own money, how come you are the one serving us? Should you not have someone else in charge of this? Or, perhaps, do you and your other associates each work together, changing roles on a dime?" He asked, realizing he may be overthinking things, he shook his head, "Excuse me, I'm rambling again. regardless, I offer my congratulations, if late." He then frowned at Dante and Wormmon's idea, "I agree with K. Dancers... they would throw off this lovely air of calm this place has. And music is unnecessary. The fireplace is more than enough music for me."

Apparently K and her inn have been here a lot longer than Dante realized. 10 years. And yet the staff couldn't be more than a handful of Digimon. "I don't know, I kind of like the atmosphere. How many places can you go to eat where the owner serves you food and talks with you?" "Agreed. This was a nice little evening. Even if there's no video games." Wormmon's idea of having a bunch of unnecessary dancers shaking their booties at the guests was both impractical and illogical. Ban was right, it would throw off the cozy atmosphere K presented.
The whole traveling inn idea? Now there might be something there. K compared it to a cruise ship. "Ah yes, I can see it now. Dante, we'll get a big cruise ship, and throw lots of awesome parties. Then we could sail around the world, and people could pay to come party with us." "A cruise ship? That sounds like something Shirou would try. Although that deviates from the teleporting inn theory. You would need some kind of flying building sized construct... a sky ship, or an air boat, if you will. Then you could travel wherever you wanted, and you'd always be at home." "Yes, I can see that sweet moolah rolling in already, Dante. What do you say, K? Do you want to be business partners?"
The notion of Wormmon of all Digimon somehow pulling this off and actually starting up some kind of business model, all while living in a luxurious sky boat, was far fetched, to say the least. But then again, could this be his past memories as Lilithmon influencing him? Maybe the Goddess of Destruction could orchestrate some preposterous scheme to turn a profit. That was all well and good, but it was far too late to start making deals and designing a ship. Dante would have to decide whether to head off to bed for the night, and look forward to breakfast in the morning, or continue to stay up talking. It appears Ban will not be staying for the night, so unless the wandering warrior changes his mind, he wouldn't be around by morning.

"It's because of that exact reason why I'm doing this, I enjoy it. And no, they like cooking mostly. Except for canton, he's the one that deals with the customers when I'm not here."
She'd chuckle and shake her head, spinning the display around of the tablet a few times. Humming thoughtfully she'd glance back down at Ban.
"I appreciate it, but don't worry all right?"
She had to admit she agreed with the idea that dancers, music and.. well. More employees would likely throw off the vibe that they had. That and as it was she wasn't going to make a killing off the place; not unless there was some major population boom or something in the digital world that forced alot of travelers to come by.
"I'd like to think that there are a few places in terminus that do that, but it's been many a year since I've actually gone there and sat down at one of their establishments."
She'd tut softly as the two started to talk among themselves again. Eyeing them curiously as they went on about the cruise ship and what not. She'd shake her head, getting a small smile. The inn itself was expensive enough! How would she even manage something like that? Her brows shot up a little bit from the wormmon's query about being partners.
"No offense but we just met and I can't say that I'd trust someone immediately to start a business venture with them. Better safe than sorry after all."
She'd shrug her shoulders and watch the human go before turning off her tablet. It was odd to say the least, what was she supposed to say to an offer like that? It was like the people that came here wanting to just simply buy the inn without learning of it's problems or the like. Surprising but she'd have the same opinion about it after all...
"Is that all?"
K tilted her head just a little bit, it was more asking the both of them to see if they needed her for anything immediately. If not she'd go back to doing chores for the night; fairly certain that the storm would blow over by morning...

"Well, you all still work as a unit, and that is quite impressive, given the limited space. Most I have met work only for their own gains." He stated, calmly, before Wormmon and Dante started speaking of an airship line for... parties? "Well, to be fair, a massive airship is indeed useful for sending a message, just put a large sign on the side, you can easily get the attention of passers by.” he admitted, although he personally could care less about an airship of that kind, as he has long since abandoned indulgence such as parties and other social gatherings. He raised his brow at Wormmon’s offer, despite how it wasn't his decision, he found no reason any respectable businessman would accept, “Wormmon, you realize that to be business partners, most would need to see some form of ways you two can assist each other. Think of it this way: what can you gain, and what can K gain. Are they of similar value? If they aren’t, then you should not consider working together in this way.” he explained, quite logically, “and either way, I don’t believe K has a desire for an airship, that seems more like something you two want.” he shrugged, before glancing at K, “And I can't seem to imagine any more questions for you, unless Dante or Wormmon can think up something else, I believe I will watch the storm, and potentially meditate a bit.”

Apparently the other Digimon were not exactly on board with Wormmon's party cruise liner/airship idea, and rightfully so. His idea was still in the early stages. Ban mentioned that the Worm King would have to show some value in forming a partnership. "Alright alright, I guess a traveling party inn is not for you guys. That's cool. I'll see if I can get Shirou on board later. He will be down to party." "That, and he would probably have cameras everywhere." "For security?" "Maybe on the surface, but I could see Shirou using them for research, and spying on ladies."
It was late in the evening. K had other things to take care of in her inn. Dante and Wormmon had plenty of food in their bellies, but by breakfast they would surely order a smorgasbord. K asks them if they have any other questions. "I think we're good. You can get back to your duties. We're going to turn in for the night." Dante turns to address Ban the wanderer. "It was nice getting a chance to see you again. I hope you decide to stay the night so we can hang out this morning. Hopefully we will run into each other another time."
Wormmon lets out a tired sigh, stretching his little bug legs up before letting his body relax. Dante wraps him up in a warm towel and picks up Wormmon. "Aww, you adorable little slime ball. Even the so called Goddess of Destruction needs a good snooze." "Yes, but I assure you, Dante, I'll be ready for more battles and adventures tomorrow. Other than breakfast, I'm also looking forward to going home and playing some video games, hee hee hee." "Of course. Well, goodnight you two. Thank you for a great evening, K." Dante heads towards the room to get some rest.

"More friends than a unit."
She'd chuckle softly and shake her head. Somewhat militant wasn't he? She'd glance between the two as ban addressed Dante and wormmon for a few moments. He was most certainly right on the lack of desire for an airship. She wanted to be firmly grounded when it came to things. At his statement about lacking any more questions she'd chuckle and give him a small smile.
"Nothing to fret about, I'll be around if you do."
The other two were equally as pleasant, even with the wormmon seeming to be a little down with the fact she had turned their offer aside. Though they did seem to have a back up for it, which was well and good having a back up plan certainly wouldn't be a bad thing. She'd nod once they confirmed that they didn't have anything else to ask.
"Sleep well the both of you, I'll be down here for a bit. Have some chores I still need to take care of before I turn in."
She'd give the three of them a soft smile before trotting off, she had a few things yes but thankfully it wouldn't take very long if at all to take care of them. The largest thing was just finishing up the laundry from the last few days. What else would she really have to do? Maybe cleaning the upstairs? But that was something for tomorrow...
