Alexis was getting changed in her room which was remodeled, her clothes were new. She told Alexander that her friend wishes to meet him, and right now he was inside her home. "Alexis, it's good to see you made new friends, but please be careful many people in the digital world are cold and ruthless, so only go once you have asked me okay?" She would nod facing him. "I know, I wouldn't do anything without asking you." She would say looking like she was daydreaming facing him. As Alexander would kiss her, allowing her to leave. "Remember, keep anyone working today around us." She nodded taking off. Alexander would be drinking from his cup, his eye's watching Alexis as she was gone, when a voice from the shadows was speaking to him. "It's good to see that my power worked on her, no doubt your princess. I didn't like the person she tried to be, more likable now." Alexander would say his eye's closed. "I do agree, this is the person I fell in love with, beauty, wealth, and will listen to everything I say." The voice would keep speaking. "That Digimon with that little girl could be trouble for us, her power is nothing to laugh at." Alexander did think about that but pushed it out of his mind. "Well, in the end, she is a little girl. If we keep all eye's on us, that Digimon can't do anything. I should thank them both for helping me after all."Meanwhile, Alexis was in her Limo as it stopped outside the train station having a smile looking left to right, seeing if Katsura was here. Alexis was in one of her many new outfits. |

Katsura stood waiting on the train station for the limo in her arms she was carrying Nyao the blackgatomon as she was waiting a lot of things went through her head. What had she got herself into? Could Alexis be helped and if so how? And would Alexis even be thankful once she truly remembered her? Right now the most passing issue was keeping up the friendly facade in front of Alexis to her this was likely just a friend coming over but both Katsura and Nyao was well aware just how much was hidden underneath; This Alexander had somehow managed to brainwash Alexis into someone different by warping some of her memories and erasing others.
Nyao looked up at Katsura, she had a serious look in her expression.
"I still don't get it, why are we doing this?" Nyao said, Katsura kept scouting for the limo without looking down.
"Alexis was brainwashed by this Alexander person and it is my fault that she had lost her free will"
"So? This is Liliana we're talking about, Alexis is so much better!"
"Right now it's Liliana, next time it's someone innocent that bothers him. It could even be me. He could make me forget about you, forget about us."
Nyao opened her eyes widely in shock, first this was something she had not thought about and 2nd what happen to the clueless girl Nyao was so used to?
"No one should change memories, let alone erase them. I can't entrust anyone with such a power."
"What are you going to do about it?"
"I'll figure something out, for now just keep low. Right now we're Alexis' friends who are meeting a friend of her that's all."
Nyao made a sigh as confirmation, as a limo was arriving.
"Starting now."
And so Katsura and Nyao was nice and very happy to see their friend, their appearance and initial behavior when Alexis arrived said so at least.

Right now Alexis didn't have Hackmon with her he was inside her room for unknown reasons. But the truth was he was just mad that he was someone's servant listening to not only his Digimon owner but Alexandra. Alexis didn't really get close to him, you could say because they were not a real team, they didn't connect as this was a new Alexis. Right now she was looking for her and Nyao. Now that you needed to think about it Katsura was acting like Lucemon, playing acts to get closer to someone. Well, it didn't matter because that was not in her own mind. She would see Katsura, telling her to come inside the Limo.
As she entered it was big with two servants beside her. "We will be there soon, sorry, but my father told me I need to have people with me, not sure why he said just in case something happened. They have been acting odd." Alexis looked out the window for that second having the thought of why, as one of the servants would whisper to Katsura remembering her right away. "It's nice to see you again, I don't know what you did with Alexis, but she is acting a lot nicer so thank you. Our Job is no longer a pain, or made harder by her." She was one of the two maids that gave her the outfit that Alexis wore in the train station. Thinking she was the one that did this to Alexis.
Alexis would face them. "Is something wrong?" The maid would speak, knowing her head with a smile. "No miss everything is fine." She would blink saying okay. In time the Limo would stop beside a mansion, as the doors were open, they would move out of the Limo as the doors were also opened by servants to enter her home. "This is my home." She said with a careful smile and kind tone. It was big, you couldn't even match the size with anything.

Showtime, after getting the greetings out of the way Katsura sat inside the limo. That was when Alexis explained that she had to be escorted. That was to be expected Katsura thought, a girl like her would be a prime target for all kinds of predators and thugs.
"It's okay, I don't mind." Katsura said with a happy voice and facial expression. That was until one of the maids leaned into her and whispered just how much better their life had become due to Alexis changing. Great, just great. More guilt and pressure was just what Katsura needed right now.
"You're umm welcome?"
Besides joining in with the maids to not tell Alexis what a horrible person Liliana was, the travel went uneventful. When they arrived, Katsura saw the biggest house, she had ever seen.
"You live her?!" She asked, first now did Katsura truly grasp the extremes of Alexis' wealth.

She would blink, think it was not that big given that this was her life from the start growing up with big houses and anything she wanted. "Yep, but don't be shy, you're my welcomed guest." She walked inside, and you would see pearl walls, diamond statues. It was really a rich home, giving that the paintings also cost a lot of money. "Please make yourself at home." Alexis would say, smiling, but after that, someone would start to walk to them. A man with dark blue hair wearing something you would think a prince from a noble family would wear was walking over his voice pure and graceful, and the way he was standing shown confidence, is much like what people would think a ruler would be.
"Hello, you must be Katsura it's a pleasure to meet you." He looked down to Nyao, his eye's sharp but yet calm. "This must be Nyao, I hear you carry her around all the time, if you like, we can have someone here look after her?" Alexis was about to speak but he cut her off, placing his finger next to her lips. "It's okay Alexis, please check on the food and drinks we can't have our guest without any refreshments. Don't worry I will make sure Katsura is okay and you can meet us outside." She was going to say, Katsura needed Nyao around, but he didn't care, but all Alexis would say now was. "Okay, I will be right back." She would say giving a bow walking away from them, it was some of the servants walking around the area so Nyao couldn't move. "Would you like one of the servants to hold onto Nyao? Well, please follow me as you think it over." He would wait for a reply. His way of acting was like a prince but also more commanding like a king.

As Katsura approached the entrance, she briefly put her hand near her digidevice and a tiny click could be heard by the extremely observant but was otherwise too subtle to be noticed.
Inside Katsura was once again reminded by her surroundings just how wealthy this girl is. Being a street girl who just recently returned to human life by a kindhearted headmistress, she felt rather out of place. Well, now was not the time to let emotions get ahead of you, because right there stood a well dressed man. Hopefully he wasn't Alexander because he seemed a little too old, he was Alexander? Oh God.
Still when he greeted Katsura, she bowed respectfully knowing that he was likely a royalty and in this world manners between hierarchy was an unavoidable chore.
"This must be Nyao, I hear you carry her around all the time, if you like, we can have someone here look after her?"
"She is, Nyao is my everything."
Katsura "conveniently" failed to adress the question of whether someone should take Nyao away or not. It was a great relief to have Alexis being temporarily excused, Katsura wasn't ready to crush her spirit by telling her who she really is. Not having evidence let alone any idea on how to undo the brainwashing was also a big factor. There was no way Katsura would go with Alexander, without Nyao around as protection. Thankfully, Alexander only "suggested" it though Katsura could easily tell what option he hoped on. For now Katsura played the submissive one by following Alexander, while still carrying Nyao.

Nobody noticed Katsura playing with her digivice, as it was something you needed to pay a lot of attention to see, and who had the time to just do that. With Alexis gone, it was only Alexander, he was older, but only seventeen years old, he was just more mature, Katsura was a little younger, if the digital world was not a thing, it was a good chance Alexis wouldn't talk to her being that age barrier. Wait, if Alexis was her old self she would be like, you bow to him but not me! But Alexis didn't care about them details right now.
"Oh, I see it's maybe best if you keep a hold of her then, it's not like she will go away, Nyao can't speak and walk can she." He would say letting out a laugh, because the case was, Nyao could. In time they would reach outside, a place just to relax a table filled with a lot of food, and drinks. "How long have you known Alexis?" He would say, trying to play smart, but at that time something else was happening.
Alexis was in the kitchen everything looked fine, but she when upstairs in her room, where Hackmon looked angry, she wished to see if he was okay. "Are you okay Hackmon." He finally lost it. "Shut up, I'm tired of this, and everything!" Alexis fell on the ground looking scared and worried. "I wish the darkness inside you would wake up already!" Alexis would lie back on the floor her eye's opening in shock.
As she started to get up slowly. Hackmon crossed his arms. "I don't care if I hurt your feelings." Alexis would speak. "It's okay, but can you please come here for a second Lucemon." He would walk over, but as he was beside her, he stopped. "Wait, what did you call me!" Alexis would kick him into the wall. "Don't ever speak to me in that tone or way again, you're the servant that does as I say. Also, how dare you hold me hostage!" She would kick him for some time, but luckily nobody could hear it happening.
She stops standing over him. "Now that you learned, I what you to come downstairs, and don't say a thing. You're like me in many ways and if you tell him you go back to being a servant, so, for now, this is going to be our little secret, and because you're like me pay back must be in your mindset. Much like you, I can also act, but I will have to hold back my anger with all three of them." Alexis would say going down, but he was lost for words but was happy his tamer was back, but none of them knew it was a time limit.

Though Katsura was a good enough actress not to show it, Alexander commenting Nyao being inanimate so explicit was rather annoying.
(Is he mocking me? He knows this is the human world.)
Katsura thought as she laughed at his "joke".
"That's right haha."
And thus a very slow passed war on words has begun. But first some refreshments;
Nyao took out a grape soda when offered, she quickly popped the marble down in the bottle and took a sip. That way Alexander got the word:
"How long have you known Alexis?"
"Oh for long time, I remember. My memories recall a time where Alexis went by the name Liliana. I guess something changed her mind." Katsura had gained an odd speech pattern of putting emphasis of words. Why these words were suddenly notable enough to be emphasized is anyone's guess.
"How about you?"

Alexis would be walking down, being calm, but inside she was mad. "Hackmon, it's still funny how you thought you're the king, then got brought down, and now trapped in that new form. Now that you think about we kind of switched roles, I was a more of an evil looking person, and you were that kind looking angel, now you look evil, and I look like a princess. It's just funny, I was the one hiding now you are hahaha." She would laugh all the way down. "Shut up! At least I didn't lose my memories." She would look down at him, picking him up. "What are you doing?" She would speak. "Well, I still have to play my part don't I." Alexis closed her eye's, as she would hold him up like a toy. Running to meet everyone as all the food and drinks came.
"Hello, sorry to keep you waiting, but I thought Hackmon would like to play with Nyao." She would say smiling sitting down. "Katsura who was this Liliana you were speaking about, I heard you on my way here? Is she your friend? I heard many people speak about her, but they try to dodge the question." Alexandra would speak out as well. "Wait, Alexis, you don't need to know that it's just someone that." He couldn't think of a lie everyone knew her who didn't know each other.
"Oh, I like to know she sounds like a nice cool person." She would say, smiling. "Please Katsura?" She would say Alexandra was thinking it was odd Alexis didn't follow his order there. Alexis stopped him from answering the question.

Oh there's Hackmon, apparently he had decided to join the company for the time being. This could easily go wrong but for now Katsura had to stay in character so she just stared at him for a second. When Alexis returned Nyao thought she could sense something wrong in her eyes, almost like this person wasn't as nice as she claims she was. Rather, there was something familiar on her, something she could put a finger on it but whatever it was, Nyao didn't like it.
Little did Nyao realize that Alexis had regained her memories and that she might as well be looking at Liliana, sadly Nyao couldn't warn Katsura as that would break character for an alleged toy. Instead it was up to Katsura to tell Alexis the story about Liliana, something she still wasn't very comfortable with. Then a temporary solution hit her: talk to Alexis like Liliana was a separate person!
"Liliana was a umm person that I had the... Fortune... to meet some time ago. She had gotten a present but she didn't fully understand the meaning or responsibility of. She was rather... Ambitious about things and loved to get things her way. At least that's my experience. How about you, Alexander? You seem to know that girl too. Do you know what happened to Liliana and how we can meet her?"
Katsura used her hands to indicate that it was now Alexander's turn to talk, she was curiously oblivious to his attempt to dismiss the subject. Almost as if she didn't care about his feelings on the subject, at all.
(If I have to tell, I'm dragging you down with me.) Katsura thought as she waited for him to lose face.

Alexander would speak. "Liliana is someone who was at one are parties, she doesn't come anymore, because she didn't suit them. She was to well, dark and acted out, trying to boss everyone around, you wouldn't like to know her and in my own statement, fake to the point it was not the real her, but please don't focus on that Alexis." Alexis felt like hitting them both for that comment. Alexis would now speak still acting like she was nice. "Oh I'm sure she was just misunderstood, everyone has goodness in them, you can't think the worse of people." She didn't show it but that was hard to say, holding up Hackmon. "Hackmon is dark, and evil looking but I'm sure once you open him up, he will have the soul of an angel." She would find it hard not to laugh from that. Now that she had to think about it, it was true in his case. Hackmon looked mad as he waves his claw at her face, she would look close to crying. "Ow, what was that for?" She would say holding him away from her. The red mark would heal right away, as he didn't hit her enough. Alexis after she was hit. |

"Agreed, I do want to see the best in others." Katsura said in her most sincere voice. She was completely aware of what echo that exact sentence could spark in Alexis. Of course though that would be a moot point had she known that Alexis had her memories back. But hey, if Alexis was to remember Liliana at the very least let her remember how Katsura several times reached out to Liliana on the assumption that she had a good side before ultimately getting emotional hurt.
Nyao had always been annoyed by Liliana's antagonizing behavior and today was no exception. The day where Nyao made Liliana dress like a maid and then exposed her to her own worst nightmare, was by sheer coincidence the same day where Liliana wanted to enslave both of them, not accepting no for an answer, nor having the humility to apologize when they actually proved themselves capable of turning the table. Nyao felt no remorse for threatening Liliana, at that point she was at her limit and Liliana had time after time proved unwilling or incapable of showing this alleged goodness, making Katsura cry just happen to be the last straw for Nyao to finally explode. There's a reason why Nyao thinks Liliana's digimental is 'entitlement' rather than 'sorrow'.
With Katsura and Nyao's different perspectives combined with Katsura's low respect for Hackmon, neither of them could resist the urge to shrug when Hackmon retaliated. Nyao though simply rolled her eyes while Katsura made a sigh.
"Sigh, speaking of Hackmon. Have you ever met Lucemon? I've heard that he's the coolest digimon ever."
Katsura briefly sent Hackmon a look just to remind him that no, she was still not buying his masquerade. Aside from the look Katsura pretended that Hackmon's description really got her hyped like a fangirl and not just convinced that she can't trust a single word from Hackmon.

All this talk about goodness and kindness it was a little sickening. Now she remembers that being said, Lucemon the best Digimon ever? He was just like Cupid, a baby that wears diapers, all he needed was arrows of love. Alexandra didn't like him saying it, that was like telling Alexis, who her old Digimon use to be. "He is an angel Digimon, but is not all that powerful, You really should start to think when you speak Hackmon." He faced Hackmon, as Hackmon turned his head away, Alexis seen this and was annoyed.
"Alexandra." She needed to think now before speaking Alexis was met to be someone that couldn't speak back. "Yes?" She spoke calmly. "You really should try to be nicer to Hackmon, he thinks with each word he says, please be nicer to my Digimon." She would say showing a little fight back, but not enough to show it was her old self.
The real her felt like saying. 'Don't you dare give him orders, I am the only one that can do that.' But she couldn't, but her eyes were kind, but it was not the same as it was without her memory, it was more strength inside her eye's, something she can't fully hide.
"Alexis, are you feeling okay?" She needed to pull him away from, that. She laughed, playing cute. "I am okay, but still worrying about all that Gothic Lolita that was in my room, I don't recall buying that style or having my walls being painted black, it's just a little odd, I do sleep in that room every day." She would say asking in a polite tone. She heard Katsura's comment and looked at them with a smile. "Katsura, not everyone has good in them, it can be darkness and light, but it's better if you try to see the light don't you think?" That was something like the old she would say, but replacing the light with darkness.

Katsura made a sigh when hearing that Lucemon was an angel digimon. This was frustrating, Katsura already knew Lucemon was an angel, it was his whereabouts that she wanted to know.
"Sooo where did you say Lucemon is right now?" He didn't but this was the direction Katsura wanted the conversation to take.
Katsura noticed something about Alexis, her patterns and choice of words has changed. A notable change was that she didn't seem so subservient anymore and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. It wasn't like Alexis, but it was something Liliana would do. Katsura sent Alexis a suspecting look accidentally given away that she did pick up on Alexis' altered state of mind. Alexis needs to be more careful if she wishes to keep her secret, not relying on emotions to read other people Katsura is way more attuned to body language and speech patterns that can be mapped to a persona at worst.
Knowing that something might have changed, she used Alexis rambling about her decorations as a chance. Waiting for her to finish while doing the mandatory nods, she would then counter her:
"What do you recall?" A normally rude question was for once intended completely literally, Katsura has a feeling that right now Alexis was capable of giving a more explicit answer than before.
Katsura was then filled with confusion, first Alexis says everyone has good in them and now she said not everyone has good in them. Katsura sent her a puzzled facial expression as a non-verbal way to call her out on being confusing.

Alexander was not one to fall for that type of trick. "I don't know what you mean, I have never seen a tamer with one before if you looked in the digital world you could find one." He would smile, as Alexis would look side to side, thinking this was stupid. If Alexis didn't go all evil, and rage out she should be fine, but it was many things she couldn't help after one day. But playing all kind and nice was annoying her even if it was not showing. She would have a clueless look, facing Katsura. "Recall? About what?" She would say, acting more like Alexis now, and putting on the image.
She really needed to stay more like her other self, her own way of thinking was different. "Katsura...." She would play all shy like she has many times as Alexis. "Why do you wish to know so much about Lucemon? You must really like him." She would say holding onto Hackmon. There was people walking around the mansion, but they where servants.
