What is the most important thing in life? Is it family? Wealth? Power? Freedom? This is a story about all of these things, and much more. A new journey is about to begin.
All alone in the Digital World, a lone Tsukaimon travels across the Dark Area. Willis the Tsukaimon is rolling his brother's digi egg on the ground, as it is too big to carry. The lone runt travels onward, searching for many things. He needs food, and shelter for the night. "We're almost there, brother. I think there's a village past that hillside." How did Willis and Domon get in this situation?
Domon and Willis grew up in a small village on the outskirts of the Digital World with their parents and sister. However, a demon Digimon known as Phelesmon took control over the village. The Ultimate level would harass and torment the Digimon that lived there. Phelesmon even went so far as to harm Willis and Domon, and threatened their family if they didn't listen to him. The brothers would commit petty crimes for the greedy devil. When Phelesmon was away, their family fled their home, but the brothers got separated. Then, they met a Digimon who offered to give them great power, in exchange for a favor. Domon became the Walking Graveyard SkullGreymon, and they set off to the Server Woods to destroy the forest as ordered. There, SkullGreymon was defeated by LadyDevimon, and Domon reverted back to an egg. Much of the forest was destroyed that day.
Willis the Tsukaimon has spent the last few days traveling across the Digital World, taking his brother's egg with him. Not only does he need food and shelter, but he needs to find his family. Only he doesn't know where they went. And it doesn't help that he has no money. If he wants to buy food, Willis will need to get a job and find somebody to work for. It's been a while since Domon became a digi egg, and it should hatch soon. Finally after getting up the hill, Willis can see a village down below. However, this is no ordinary village. This was a place filled with bizarre Digimon that had been cast aside for being mutated and unusual. "We'll look for an inn so we can get a nice meal and spend the night indoors for a change. Oh, I can't wait until your egg hatches, Domon. I miss you. It's been so cold and lonely, I miss our family..." Willis heads to the village.

Well, Skye seemed to have messed up pretty badly at one point.
This morning she had stepped off the floating islands of the Empyrean Skies for the first time, riding an Airdramon to the fabled city of Terminus below. And, after a few chaotic hours, seemed to have found peace on a Trailmon carriage that took her out of that crowded city.
Most unfortunately for her, the Trailmon took her straight into the Dark Area. As she saw the dark, barren, hellish landscape around her, she had sat pinned to her seat in fright, wishing to go back to Terminus, but, alas, she had no money for that. In the end, she resigned to disembark, hoping the dark brown weatherproof cloak she wore would be enough to hide her identity to the more shady digimon of town.
"Wanna buy a lolly, luv?!" a shrivelled Kabukimon screeched at her. Skye turned 360 degrees and walked away. No way was she buying anything here. She had to save for a ticket home after all!
She looked up at the dull cloudy skies, figuring that it might be nightfall soon. She sighed at the mistake she had made in coming here. Her tail flicked at every creepy sound she heard in this village. But, in the end, she might have to actually meet with someone to somehow get enough money to leave this place.
But, as time went on and Skye was not attacked, she soon found that minding her own business didn't seem to draw hostility. Eventually, she calmed down. This might be the dark area, but, the digimon here surely weren't pure malicious evil? Surely there might be those that might be willing to give favours in exchange for others? As a Gatomon, Skye had healing powers after all. Perhaps she could sell her services somehow? Yes, that seemed to be the most obvious option to her. But where to start though?
Skye continued to walk around the edges of town, in search of a digimon that might be in need of healing.

After a long day of travelling, WIllis has finally reached a place to stay. However, upon arriving he saw disfigured Digimon and poorly designed buildings. "What is this place?" While the local residents did not care for outsiders, most of them wouldn't hassle strangers passing through unless they caused trouble. Willis walks through the streets, passing by some merchants. Who knows where these goods come from, or what their quality is? Willis sees a roadside tavern, and decides to stop by for a meal, and ask about work. It was difficult to lift the egg up the steps, but Willis makes his way inside.
Willis was taken back by these scary looking misfit Digimon. Did they come here by choice, or were they exiled for their appearance? Willis didn't know it yet, but he had passed by another outsider. A Gatomon has gotten onto the wrong train, and ended up in this dreary place. The sight of Tsukaimon rolling an egg around certainly caught a lot of attention. Willis sits down at the counter to order some food. An Ogremon with a roughed up appearance approaches Willis to take his order.
"I don't think I've seen you here before. What can I get you?" "How about chicken fingers, and some melon soda." "You've got enough bits?" "Actually, I was hoping to find work here. I don't suppose you have an open position?" Ogremon eyes Willis and the egg. "I don't have much use for a shrimp like you. Try checking around town. If you're willing to get your hands dirty, there's some more shady employment opportunities. Tell you what, I'll start a tab." Ogremon goes to the kitchen to place the order. Had Willis left Phelesmon's tyranny, only to fall back into a life of crime? Willis didn't always enjoy doing bad things, like stealing and hurting people. But with no money, and no place to go, if he couldn't find honest work in the village, maybe he would consider returning to his evil ways. The young Digimon's morality would be tested.
Not all the Digimon in the village were welcoming. Some no good punks are making a ruckus at the tavern. They are drinking way too many pints, and making a lot of noise. A Gizamon in their group with cybernetic body parts sees Tsukaimon and the egg. He sees the young Rookie as easy prey. They might just go over there and give Willis trouble for being an outsider. Hopefully the Tsukaimon's mouth won't get him into even more trouble.

After a while of walking, Skye could find no digimon that she could tell would be in need of her services. While of course she found many alarmingly disfigured digimon, well, she wasn't sure if her rookie level healing powers were enough to restore them even if they asked for it. On one side she was grateful for this, for entering a town where she'd encounter many digimon groaning in pain on the sidewalk would be profitable, it would also be damn horrible too.
Eventually, she no longer felt confident about walking on the road and sought shelter in a roadside tavern. While unable to afford a ticket out of the Dark Area, she at least had enough for a meal and board for a night. While if she spent that money now it would make tomorrow harder, well, she felt she probably couldn't really face tomorrow without a good rest and meal, so she was prepared to pay for her stay.
Skye sat in a corner of the pub, out of the way of most of the patrons, but still with a good view of the pub. From this position, she noted the presence of a Tsukaimon with a large egg.
Skye immediately saw how vulnerable this digimon was. A rookie level Tsukaimon? Carrying an egg in broad daylight? Skye exhaled with frustration through her teeth. While she didn't think of the Dark Area as an utter inescapable hell, she did know that it was full of predators. A digiegg was an easy infusion of data for any lowlife digimon that wanted to get stronger. That was the way of things, even in Luminas. While it was a holy city, things sometimes happened in dark corners. But Skye couldn't just butt in and presume to defend them. Still though, she'd hate for something to happen to that egg. She noted that a bunch of digimon were behaving aggressively, making her feel a bit nervous about being seen alone.
And so, Skye stood up and crossed the room, then seated herself opposite the Tsukaimon. Understanding that he might feel nervous, Skye gripped the hood of her cloak and drew it back a little, showing her face.
"Hi there, do you mind if I sit down here?" she asked. "Sorry to interrupt, just I don't really feel safe alone, and, seeing another solo digimon, just thought I might ask?". If he said no then that would be alright.
On the whole, Skye was hoping that two rookie digimon would seem like more difficult prey than just the one. While Skye wasn't exactly the model digimon from Luminas, she wanted no harm to come to eggs in her presence. And from the looks around some in the tavern, some seemed to have negative intentions.
"Oh yeah. My name's Skye, by the way" she added, as a final gesture that she hoped would earn some rapport.

Willis watched as a cloaked Digimon came over and sat across from him. She pulled her hood back to reveal herself. "Huh? You're not like the other Digimon, you must be an outsider like myself. My name is Willis, and this is my brother. He, doesn't talk much anymore." Willis was glad to have someone else in the same boat as him. They were both more or less stranded in the village with little to no money. The Ogremon bartender returns with Willis' order. He sees Skye the Gatomon now sitting at the bar and offers to take her order.
Willis takes in the aroma of the hot meal. After days on the road it was a much needed pleasure. Staying in a warm place having a meal with new company. It was lonesome without his brother, and Willis' usual rude behavior was toned down, as he was more than happy to meet a new comrade. However, some of the local ruffians were more than willing to spoil the evening and give the outsiders a tough time. Gizamon and Falcomon strut over from their table to taunt Willis. "Whatcha got there, stranger? A delicious egg?" "That egg looks heavy. Why don't you let us take it off your paws, for ya? No charge."
These two Rookie Digimon looked like they had been through some hard living, as they looked like disgusting versions of their species. Gizamon has a red robotic eye and a cyborg arm, and Falcomon looks like another bird plucked too many feathers off him, leaving him with a balding head. Willis isn't happy with these ruffians harassing them. "Buzz off! You stay away from my brother's egg, or I'll make you look even uglier than you do already! If that's even possible."
The patrons are none too impressed. "Oh, watch out, Falcomon. This Tsukaimon here is going to beat us up." "Hahaha! What's a little runt like you doing here with an egg? We don't like it when trouble comes to our town." Willis hugs his brother's egg close to his chest. "I'm just passing through. I don't want any trouble." "Hmph. You better listen to us, if you know what's good for you." Falcomon looks over at Skye. "And don't you go sticking your nose in our business, outsider. This is between us and the runt." The bartender is none too pleased. "Hey, nobody talks to paying customers like that around here. If you've got a bone to pick, I'd suggest you take this outside." Willis wasn't in fact a paying customer yet, but at least Ogremon was looking out for his guests.

Skye smiled at the Tsukaimon, glad that he seemed to be friendly. "I see, nice to meet you, Willis" she said, but her smile faded as Willis explained that the egg was in fact his brother's. "Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. I hope he hatches soon". She was at least glad that despite whatever misfortunes he had suffered, he had a chance of being reconfigured. But in this place? It seemed like another misfortune altogether.
She looked up at the Ogremon who came for her order. Skye tried not to look as startled as she felt, but was at least calmed a little by his professionalism. "Ah, of course" she said, looking at the menu for what she hoped was the cheapest thing on there. "I'll have a..." she was about to order a drink, but her stomach rumbled. Very well, the second most cheapest thing. "Fried sausage please".
As she waited for her order, other digimon approached the table. Skye narrowed her eyes at them with dislike. They seemed to be trying to intimidate Willis so they could steal his egg. Just as she feared. At least Willis was standing up for himself. And of course why would he let them take his brother's egg? They even said that it looked 'delicious'. Disgusting.
They even had the nerve to tell her to stay out of this. This was the final straw. Skye took a deep breath to calm herself, then she looked at the Gizamon with an expression that could be described as somewhat tranquil.
"He told you to leave him alone, so why are you still here?" she asked. "The egg belongs to his brother, I don't believe you have any right to take it from him".
At least the Ogremon wasn't going to tolerate this kind of behaviour. Skye hoped that he would intervene, she would hate to get into a fight in the dark area so soon. But she wouldn't let harm come to Willis or his brother either.

The Gatomon Willis met Skye was a bit intimidated at first by the ogre bartender, but he created a friendly atmosphere in the tavern. The Gizamon and Falcomon however were being very rude. The bartender returned with Skye's fried sausage, but it was hard to have a nice meal with these bozos looking for trouble. They were not too thrilled with Skye putting them in their place. "What do you know, anyway? You think we are going to let outsiders come here and tell us how to do things?" "That egg would be much safer with us. What's the harm in us taking your egg to become stronger?"
Willis sticks his tongue out at the patrons. "You two don't listen. Get out of our faces, if you know what's good for ya." Willis looks over at Skye, nodding to thank her for the support. Gizamon refuses to back down. "Look, we're not asking you. This is our village, and we're calling the shots." Ogremon slams his fists down on the bar. "I'm not going to tell you two again! Gizamon, Falcomon, you've both caused trouble in the past, and I'm more inclined to look after these outsiders than your ugly mugs. Let them finish their meals, then if you still want to harass them, go outside. Now go back to your table before I really start to get mad!"
Gizamon snarls. "Alright, if that's how it's going to be. Enjoy your little meal. We'll be waiting outside, if you've got the guts!" "Two on two. Mono, a mono, a mono... uh, a mono." The two ugly ruffians go back to their table. After a while they head outside to wait for Skye and Willis. "I guess it's true, there's jerks everywhere you go." "Sorry about those two. Not everyone in the village is a pain in the butt. If you are going to fight, I'll look after your egg." "Oh no, I'm not fighting those guys. I'm staying inside. Without Domon, I'm no fighter." Ogremon is a bit disappointed. He wants to see Falcomon and Gizamon get a good beating after all the trouble they have caused.
The bartender goes back to the kitchen and returns with two glasses of fruit juice. He sets a glass down in front of Skye, and the other next to Willis. "Here you go, on the house." Despite being a big smelly ogre, this Ogremon wasn't such a bad guy. What was his story, and why was he living in Fragment Village? While being a little more gnarly-looking than other, already scary Ogremon, he didn't seem all that different from other Digimon. "Oh, thank you! From the looks of this village I was not expecting such good service." After taking a few big gulps from the glass, Willis finishes his meal, trying not to think about the Digimon waiting outside. Skye would have to coax the Tsukaimon into a battle if they were going to teach them a lesson.

Skye regarded the bullies coolly. Honestly, they reminded her of the attitudes of many digimon in Luminas. That the holy digimon were better than everyone else and didn't have to listen to opinions other than their own. But she held her tongue. Letting out something like that would undoubtedly be seen as an insult that may provoke them to do something violent, and Skye didn't want that. She simply shrugged and ignored them.
She exhaled with relief as Ogremon took charge and declared an end to this argument. Thankfully that seemed to be enough to make the Gizamon and Falcomon back down.
They declared that they would battle them outside. Skye scoffed, were they really going to settle this like in-training levels? "Oh I'm quivering in my little kitty boots" she drawled, although supposed afterward she shouldn't have said that. Oh well. If it came down to it, Skye would fight in self-defence and in protection of the new acquaintance she had made, and especially his egg. But she would rather avoid all that.
"Maybe if we eat really slowly they'll get bored and give up?" she whispered to him, hoping that might be a way to avoid conflict.
Ogremon then apologized for the trouble and even treated them to free drinks. "Oh gosh, thank you very much" Skye said, delighted by the act of kindness. But, she realized after Tsukaimon said he'd refuse to fight Gizamon and Falcomon, as well as Ogremon's offer to look after the egg and the disappointment at Willis's refusal, Ogremon's generosity was out of a hope they would be able to teach these two a lesson. She sighed. Damn it, looked like it was an honour debt.
But wait, Ogremon was a champion level. He could settle this with ease. "If these two are such a burden on your customers, why don't you ban them from this establishment?" she asked the bartender. "I mean, you have the power to do so right?"
Skye wanted to know exactly why these two were allowed to stay if they were such a problem. Perhaps they could digivolve? She hoped that wasn't the case. Either way, Skye was not exactly a hothead. She would rather avoid conflict than confront it, and if there was to be a battle, it wouldn't be something that she would initiate. All she wanted was to get enough money to leave this place. But... she couldn't help but feel a sympathy for Willis in his situation at the moment. She was willing to help him if he asked. She thanked Ogremon again and began to eat her sausage.

Gizamon and Falcomon are waiting outside to settle their beef, that they started, by the way. Ogremon is disappointed the two outsiders are against fighting them. Skye asks the bartender why he doesn't just ban them from the tavern. "It's complicated. You see those other Digimon they were sitting with? They are affiliated with a local gang of rogue Digimon. As long as they are not breaking rules or damaging the property, I can't ban them without angering the rest of those crooks. Best case scenario, business goes down, as they are loyal patrons, through jerkasses they may be."
Willis takes a long hard look at the situation. These bullies were a lot like Phelesmon, and other no good Digimon only looking out for themselves, to the point of threatening to steal his brother's egg. Willis is fed up, and takes a stand. "No, you know what? I'll fight em! I'm tired of being pushed around! Just because I'm small doesn't mean those bullies can treat us like this. No, I'm taking a stand. Are you with me, Skye?" Willis hands his brother's egg to Ogremon. The bartender is delighted to see some fight in him. "Now that's more like it. It's getting late, I'll close down the bar section for now to watch your fight. It will go down as an extended coffee break."
Willis and Ogremon go outside to confront the goons. The remaining patrons could always check with the other staff if they wanted more food. Gizamon is pleased to see the little runt. "Ah, so you finally decided to show. But what are you doing out here, Ogremon?! You don't want to upset my boss, do you?" "Ah, shut it. I'm only out here to watch you idiots get what you deserve. If you didn't hide behind your allies, I would have spanked your butts raw months ago." Falcomon crosses him arms, err, I mean wings. "Hmph! You've got a big mouth. Both figuratively and literally." "So now you're making fun of my mouth size? Have you looked in a mirror lately, Bald Eaglemon?"
With Willis ready to fight, Skye would probably get roped in too, whether she wanted to or not. Willis turns to his new kitty friend and nods. "Are you ready to whoop some bozos? I'm more about support than raw power, so you'll have to take care of most of the heavy lifting." Ogremon feels Domon's egg moving around. With any luck, the Tsukaimon's big brother would hatch soon. Only they would still be in their fresh form. Gizamon takes up a defensive stance, while Falcomon poses on one leg with his wings out, ready to go on the offensive. Some villagers take notice of the dustup. A Rasta Agumon speaks up. "Ya, mon! Take out those jabroni thugs, outsiders!" Apparently the hate for this duo was felt throughout the village.

Skye gave a sigh at Ogremon's explanation. Yes, of course, it was a complicated situation. Of course this was why the two digimon were acting so arrogant and vicious - they had backing from stronger digimon. A damn shame really.
It also hammered home what kind of place this was. Skye felt as though she was being forced into this, but, it seemed that a lot of other digimon wanted these two goons taken care of. She glanced at them, thinking that yeah, she could probably take them on. Skye had learned much about unarmed combat in secret on the streets of Luminas after all. She would however try to only just beat them up without actually destroying them. That would be going too far. All she intended was to pop their little egos.
Then Willis announced that he intended to stand up to the bullies. Skye was kind of glad of this. This way she felt like she was fighting in support of a friend rather than for her own benefit. "Alright, I'll have your back" she said. "But first, we need to strategize. I can fight with melee attacks and I can heal, but I don't have any projectile attacks. What about you?"
She hoped the Tsukaimon could have something in the way of ranged attacks. If he did, then they would be a very strong team indeed.
Skye then followed the group outside, folding her arms and looked at the digimon with contempt. It seemed Gizamon was going to go on the defensive while the Falcomon attacked? Well then. Best teach this lesson quickly. But she didn't want to close the distance to battle yet. She would instead wait until they close in before she made a move.
"I've got some advice for you, little bird" Skye said, her eyes glowing pink slightly, her tail swishing behind her, readying herself physically for the fight. "Fly away home. You can do so before or after I pluck the rest of your feathers out".
She was in no mood to go easy on these two, not after they had threatened to bring harm to an egg.
Combat Passive: Cat's Eye - As Skye battles, she maintains eye contact with her blue eyes shining a little, transfixing her opponent. As a result, enemy projectile attacks that require aiming deal 30% less damage to her. Melee and area-of-effect attacks are unaffected.

With Skye on board, the two Rookie level outsiders banned together against these rude goons. The situation really showcased the kind of environment they were in. The Digimon in this village had their own way of doing things. While Falcomon and Gizamon had ties to some of the village's more fearsome Digimon, even their allies were growing tired of the duo's rowdy behavior. No one would interfere in this battle. The general feeling was wanting to see the duo get their egos knocked down a peg, or 40.
Skye suggests going over strategy. While she had melee attacks and the ability to heal, she lacked a range projectile. "Let's see, I have my Friendly Fire attack, that I can hit at range. And my other abilities are blowing smoke, and trash talking." Willis wasn't going to win any strongman competitions with skills like that, but in a double battle, his tactics could be utilized better with a partner to make up for his lack of damage output. The two sides stare each other down. Skye trash talks the bald bird, advising him to leave. This only makes Falcomon more eager to beat up the outsiders. "We're going to teach you a lesson in respect. Don't start trouble with Digimon stronger than you!"
Falcomon starts things off with his Falco Rush Attack. He flies towards Skye and starts attacking her with the talons on his feet. Gizamon tucks himself into a ball and rolls towards Willis with his Spiral Edge attack, aiming to slice Willis with the blades on his back. Willis goes to dodge, but doesn't get out of the way in time. Gizamon slams into Willis and his spinning blades deal above average damage. Willis is knocked down, but he manages to get up. Gizamon continues rolling for a while before stopping and turning around. "Haha ha ha! What's the matter, runt?" "Just your face!"
Willis turns and looks over at Skye and Falcomon. Willis decides to help Skye get some distance. "Stupid bald bird. Friendily FIYA!" Willis sucks in air, then launches a dark energy ball towards Falcomon. The attack deals average damage, and catches him off guard, leaving Falcomon off balance and open to a counter attack. "Hey, why don't you deal with the Digimon attacking you? Don't team up on me!" "It's called strategy, noob! There's more to fighting than just charging in like a mad bull." The battle was just getting started, but these misfit Digimon didn't get to be egotistical jerks unless they had at least something in the tank to back up their big mouths. ______________________

"I don't intend to start trouble with digimon stronger than me though" Skye quipped back at Falcomon, delivering a subtle little insult that implied that they were weaker. Thus the fight began. Falcomon came straight at her, as expected, but Skye had other ideas, noting what the Gizamon was doing. She instantly got an idea, but winced in sympathy as he hit Willis.
The Gizamon was probably disoriented from his Spiral Edge attack. After all, a digimon rolling like that would have their world spinning around them from their senses. And so Skye followed after him. She ducked under Falcomon's talons, but couldn't dodge them completely. White fur went flying, but she disregarded the pain, it wasn't enough to stop her.
Light was shining from her paw, then she thrust it forward straight at Gizamon's face as he came to a halt, aiming low. "Saint Knuckle!" she snapped after delivering the punch, sanctified with holy energy. Had Gizamon been a Nightmare Soldiers family digimon it would have stung badly, but he was a Deep Savers family one so it wouldn't do extra damage.
"Willis, let me know if you need help!" she called after the Tsukaimon, retreating back a few paces from Gizamon after her attack.
Skye attempts to evade Falcomon's Falco Rush attack but fails, getting light scratches on the back of her head as she passes.
Skye attacks Gizamon with Saint Knuckle.
Saint Knuckle - Skye's paws glow with holy light, and she rushes forward and aims a punch at her opponent, dealing Holy damage. Deals 30% less damage to Virus Busters, but 30% more damage to Nightmare Soldiers and Dark Area family digimon.

Things were off to a good start for the outsiders Skye and Willis. While Falcomon got a few hits in, Skye closed in on Gizamon and socks him with a Saint Knuckle. He was more than a little off balance after all that spinning, and that hit wasn't going to help matters. Both Falcomon and Gizamon start to come to the realization that they couldn't just bully these other Rookie levels around. BaldFalcomon is quite miffed Skye made a jab implying they were weaker. Falcomon flies over towards Skye and Gizamon, flying close by Gizamon. "Oww. That really hurt, you know." "I guess kitty does pack a punch after all. Blasted feline!"
Willis picks up a small rock, and throws it at Falcomon, he misses. "Grr, there's plenty more where that came from, bird brain!" "What the? Throwing rocks? Is that all you got?" Falcomon flies towards Willis and swoops down at him. Willis manages to dodge, flying away. Falcomon turns around and flies towards Willis, attacking him with his claws from the side. Willis flies over and lands on top of a small hut. "What's the matter? Looks like you're chickening out already." Willis didn't want to cause any destruction of property. That would only leading to rumors of outsiders showing up to fight the local Digimon. He had already caused enough problems when he lead SkullGreymon on a warpath through the Server Woods. But he couldn't risk losing this battle. Skye offered to help Willis out in the fight if he needed it, but he wanted to carry his own weight, and not distract Skye unless he needed to.
Gizamon might also be going on the defensive. It would be unwise to match up against Skye at close range with her agility. Then again, Gizamon's body is covered with questionable cybernetic implants from far too many dangerous battles. He wasn't afraid to get nasty. "You're still not even in our league. But if we absorb your data, we'll be even tougher than ever." Gizamon's cybernetic claw starts to flash red and green lights. "Now you'll get a taste of my favorite new upgrade. You should have known better than to get in our business." Gizamon goes to hit Skye with his Cyber Claw attack, dealing above average damage for a melee strike if it connects. The claw leaves a lime green after image behind it. Willis watches on in suspense, worried about Skye.
Falco lurks overhead, ready to strike. Willis tenses up his little muscles. The bald falcon jets towards the Tsukaimon. Willis takes a deep breath, and breathes out a cloud of purple smoke. Falcomon flies into the smoke, inhaling the toxins. His vision starts to blur, and the poison deals minor damage. Falcomon misses his target and losses control in midair, crashing into a wooden post. He lays on the ground momentarily, with little chicken legs dancing around his head. "Ohhoowoh.. You dirty little runt, how dare you." Willis flies closer in, but still keeping his distance from Gizamon and Falcomon. "If you're so tough, how come you keep charging in? There's no way I'll let you take my brother away from me! Skye and I are bringing you down." ___________________

Skye gave a small smirk at the Gizamon, currently whining about the hit. "Clearly not enough it seems" she said. Ordinarily she would have simply walked off and minded her own business, but, she had the opportunity to gain something out of all this. And since she started off with little already, well, why give up when you're ahead?
It seemed that Willis intended to split up the fight a little. That was fine, Skye seemed to do better in melee combat.
Then Gizamon said something that removed any doubt from Skye's mind. "The only 'absorbing' you'll be doing is eating the dirt after I kick your face into it" she said, taking a breath to calm herself. Now now, don't lose control here. They're just words, not actions.
Then the Gizamon seemed to be launching another melee strike, this time with his cybernetic claw. Skye was no fool, she knew she couldn't block it. Therefore she would have to dodge. As Gizamon lunged, Skye backflipped back, several feet, then as she landed on her hind legs, she sprung high into the air, out of Gizamon's reach. She then would aim to land behind him, twist herself, then strike with her Neko Kick attack.
Neko Kick - Skye leaps and deals a powerful physical kick to a target.

For their first time battling together, Skye and Willis seemed to be doing well. The local bullies had gotten more than they bargained for when they tried to take Domon's egg. Gizamon goes to strike Skye with his claw, but the nimble cat manages to tumble out of the way, flipping over the froglike Rookie and attacking from behind. Gizamon is caught off guard and suffers another nasty hit. He also didn't care for Skye threatening to shove his face in the dirt. "I'll show you, lousy kitty. I'll bury you in your own litterbox!" While Gizamon talked a big game and acted tough, his ego bruised easily.
Falcomon gets his head back in the game. "It's going to take a lot more than that to beat us." Falcomon flies up in the air, and dive bombs down towards Willis. The Tsukaimon is able to dodge, but Falcomon follows up with more attacks. Willis tries to fly away, but Falcomon keeps going after him. "What's the matter? Did you run out of tricks?" Willis is getting stressed out. Everything was on the line. Would they really take his brother's egg away? Would he never get to see his brother again? His determination turns to wrath, and Willis unloads a barrage of insults at Falcomon. "Why don't you stuff that big beak of yours down your own throat so nobody has to listen to your stupid voice?! You give birds a bad name. Not all of them are as ugly and dumb as you. You and your little four legged gremlin buddy can go home and kiss each other's butts for all I care!"
Falcomon is hurt by Willis' harsh words. The feather challenged Digimon starts to tear up a bit. "Hey, shut that big mouth of yours!" The insults had gotten to Falcomon, throwing him off his game. Falcomon goes in for more attacks, but Willis is quick enough to dodge and counter with a weak punch. Falcomon backs away from Willis, noticeably slower now. Gizamon sees his friend getting flustered. "Come on, don't let up now, Falcomon! Let's finish these fools off." Gizamon curls up into a ball, and starts spinning like a top. He dashes towards Skye with his Spiral Edge attack, before circling back around and attempting to slice at Skye with his razors a few times from different angles. __________________
