The reaction that Unica had to the onions made the Leomon chuckle; she didn't seem to like the smell or perhaps it was the taste of it. He'd take it back and put it back onto the counter, a wide grin on his face.
"A pleasure to meet you Unica, Seven? Hmm.. by your human years I think I'd be Somewhere in my mid thirties. How old do you reckon K is hmm?"
His ears would flick and he'd glance out of the door; a small frown on his face for a few moments.
Out in the bar proper K could see the panic all about birdie. Though when she flew about looking for the Tamer. They couldn't of gone that far after all. The youth hadn't the ability to really leave the building without K's notice. The doors hadn't opened and they would of made quite a fuss if otherwise.
"Calm down birdie. She couldn't of gone too far, I didn't hear the door open so she's likely still in the building."
Canton on the other hand heard the ensuing conversation and tutted gently. He'd look down at the Human and give her a small smile again, reaching forward to gingerly pat her on the head.
"Do you want to help me take your order out? Everything's ready I just hadn't knocked on the wall to let K know yet."
Out in the Bar K could feel a little frustrated and would go over to the table that Birdie had been on. Firmly setting a hand on it.
"Take a seat back at the Bar Birdie, I'll find where she's gone."

Canton said that he was somewhere in this mid-thirties, a response which made Unica giggle a little. Although she wasn't sure exactly how old her own parents were, she was positive her mother was in her mid to late twenties and believed her father was in his early thirty. If her beliefs about their ages were true then that would mean the lion chef was older than both of her parents. That thought alone struck her as funny, though for no particular reason. When Canton asked how old she thought K was, Unica had to ask, "Fox Lady?" After having her suspicious confirmed, she let another playful giggle escape her lips as she replied with, "She's old!" Unica hadn't meant it to be rude, it was merely the first thing that popped into her brain. Only adults had jobs and adults were old, at least according to Unica and her childish view of the world. Because K and Canton both had jobs, it meant that they were adults which, of course, meant they were old.
Outside of the kitchen, K was working on preventing Birdie from starting fights. Upon hearing the innkeeper tell her to calm down, Birdie whirled around and shot a look at the Renamon. Her eyes were wide and wild, her expression conveying a sense of madness rather than worrisome or fear that something may have happened to the small girl. It was an expression that belonged to criminally insane individuals who would look on in frustration and disappointment as their victim got away. Birdie didn't need someone telling her to relax or to take a seat, she needed someone to find her human - her means to power. Certainly Unica wouldn't be able to use the digivice on another Digimon, seeing how Birdie was her destined partner, but the idea that Unica and her device fell into someone else's hands made her tempered.
As if realizing that Birdie wouldn't calm down without first receiving help in finding her human, the Renamon ensured that she would take it upon herself to find Unica. "You had better! If anyone laid a finger on her, it'll be on you," Birdie threatened, flying off of the Chuumons' table and flapping back to the bar. She landed on top of the well polished wood and peered over the edge, checking to make sure Unica wasn't hiding behind the counter where the Renamon had been previously standing. Once sure that her tamer was no where near the bar, she turned around and scoured the room again, wondering if she had missed something.
Unica was not in the bar area of the inn, however. She was still in the kitchen. She had distracted herself by staring into the tiny window of the oven to watch her pizza cook. The cheese was melting and bubbling, and the crust had reached a delicious golden-brown shade which indicated that it was almost done. Too distracted by the food, Unica went unaware of the ruckus occurring just on the other side of the nearby wall. The uproar did not escape Canton's ears, however, and he suggested that Unica help him bring their food out. "Okay!" Unica chimed, hopping to her feet and bouncing in place excitedly. Whatever it took for her to finally get to eat some pizza.

The leomon laughed and gave the human child a small smile; even going so far as to reach out and pat them on the head if they allowed it.
"Incredibly, but she's a good lady I assure you. Jesmon knows how old she actually is."
He'd laugh softly and move to the oven. Looking to take the pizza out of the oven gently moving around Unica in order to do so. He was fairly certain that having her in here would be a bad idea if anyone other than the workers here found out immediately.
"I'll need to cut up your pizza Unica and then it'll be ready..."
K was used to dealing with angry digimon, she was used to dealing with difficult digimon and she was certainly used to dealing with veiled threats. All of which she was able to brush off softly but assuredly. She gave birdie a small smile and move behind the counter top when the other jumped onto it; it was a surprise that the individual was freaking out about their human being gone. But she had to admit that she would likely be in the same neighborhood if she was in the same situation... Though if she was in the same situation she'd likely handle it differently.
"Of course of course..."
In the kitchen Canton was quick to cut up the pizza, put it on a plate and then offer the plate to Unica. If she accepted it; he'd of course pick up the plate with the burger on it. One of the other chefs in the kitchen already finished with it and placed it by the leomon. Once it was in hand of course he'd look to lead the youth out of the kitchen...

Unica let a giggle escape from her lips when the large lion patted her gently on the head. It was a simple gesture, but one that many older individuals had done to her subconsciously. A pat on the head was a sign of comfort and protection, a silent confirmation that a small and fragile individual would be looked after by one who was far more capable. The good fox lady was nice, that much was true, but her demeanor had bored the young human. Canton proved to be the one who gained Unica's trust simply because of his loyal and almost parental attitude. This may have been the reason why she agreed to patiently wait while he cut her pizza, even though she would have taken the whole pan if he would have let her.
She bounced in place eagerly, trying to be respectful and patient but her hunger and excitement for a cheese pizza keeping her from standing idly by. When the Leomon handed her a plate with pizza slices, she stepped in place a few times and squealed loudly before saying, "Thank you," like her mother had taught her. She balanced the plate on her left palm and used her free right hand to grab one of the slices and bring it up to her lips. She bit down on the tip and let out a pained gasp as the hot cheese and sauce burned the top of her mouth. In a hurry, Unica placed the piece back onto the plate and turned her attention to the Leomon who had just grabbed the plate with Birdie's burger.
"It was hot," she whimpered, though a weak smile on her face revealed that the tears in her eyes were not because she was upset but because her body was reacting to the pain. When Canton began heading out of the kitchen and back into the bar, Unica followed after with both hands holding tightly onto the plate to make sure that she wouldn't accidentally drop it.
When the Leomon pushed passed the door, Birdie immediately thought that K had somehow signaled for backup in their attempt at trying to find Unica. She was both relieved but also on edge when he stepped out from behind the counter. However, it didn't take long for her to notice the small human at his side, incredibly tiny in comparison to the looming lion who delivered the burger. "Unica!" Birdie hollered, flying down from the counter and landing in front of her human. "Where were you!?" she asked angrily, her eyes wide with panic.
"Pizza!" Unica chimed, holding up her plate to eye level so that Birdie had a clear view of her meal.
Birdie's eyes squinted in response to her human's meager answer. She then flew back to her seat without a word and eyed the Leomon cautiously. She wasn't about to thank K or Canton for their help because - in her opinion - it was their fault Unica had wandered away from her in the first place. There was no logical reasoning behind her assumption, save for the fact that she wanted to avoid all blame. Birdie glanced down at the young blonde-haired girl long enough to see that she was struggling with climbing back on the chair with her plate. The partner Digimon waited for a moment, as if considering if she ought to help, then, ultimately deciding against it, began eating her burger in silence.
Eventually, Unica had gotten onto the seat and had managed to eat her pizza with a big smile plastered across her face. It was a good day, even considering all that happened.
