Fahe had been in New York for far too long, even though this wasn't the big apple, it still was a city. Falling into a routine to hold off on new things for as long as he could he would travel to areas nearby, like the graveyard he had ended up in today. Chilling out, leaning on one of the gravestones, he was busy puttering away on his game boy. It was a rather mild fall and a gentle breeze was blowing by. Looking up from his game, he stared out amongst the trees, nothing unusual there, mostly the same old things, a birch here, or a cherry there.
Hmm, just like every fall, boring, he thought while turning back to his Game Boy. Getting up he turned around and started walking about. "Welp, time to go," he said, mostly to himself, "this has been enough of a graveyard for a lifetime." Walking towards the exit, he tripped over something round, and striped, and most definitely wasn't been there before. Turning back, that round, striped, and mysteriously appearing object seemed to be an egg, of some, sort. "Hey did anyone lose an egg here?" he asked the cemetery, the cemetery didn't answer back as it was a cemetery.

On their way back from the library, Data and Alexa had crept into the graveyard. It usually was deserted, and the two wanted some time to talk alone, and honestly, Alexa wasn't feeling like going back to her house.
"So, there's a lot I gotta learn about you, and vise versa," Data began, still wrapped in Alexa's arms. Alexa nodded before putting the little buy on the ground. It felt kind of weird talking to something wrapped in your arms.
"You said you were a police officer. I guess the digital world needs them too," Alexa said.
Data nodded. "Yeah, I mean, some areas are more tribal, but we have cities and stuff, and they need people out there protecting the peace. Though I wasn't exactly a blazin' gun officer, I was a detective. I solved crimes."
"That sounds really interesting, actually." Alexa was imagining noir crime dramas, just with digimon instead of trench-coated people from the 40's.
"I got lots of stories, if you'd like to hear them. But first, I should know about you, seeing as how you're my newest partner. First human partner, too. It's going to be interesting alright."
Alexa thought for a moment. "There's not a lot, really. Life's pretty easy. No big traumas of vendetta. I'm just kinda... floating through life, honestly." Saying out loud made it sound pretty depressing, she had to admit.
The two continued in silence for a moment, before Data saw some movement from afar.
"Someone's here," he warned, and then jumped back into Alexa's arms. "Who else would be wandering a graveyard?"
Instead of leaving, Alexa decided to investigate. That's what detectives did after all. Data didn't object, so he seemed to be thinking similarly. The two came upon a tall young brown-haired boy. But that wasn't the interesting part. The interesting part was that he had an egg - and egg not too unlike the one Data had hatched out of only an hour beforehand.
Alexa walked up slowly to the boy, hoping not to startle him too badly. She was suddenly put in a similar position as Yuuki before. Now she could help introduce someone else to the digital world. Well, she couldn't really, considering she hadn't actually been there yet. But she could at least tell him what little he knew. Hopefully it wouldn't quite be the blind leading the blind.
"Hey there. I think that's your egg now," Alexa said gently, in Japanese. Something told her he wasn't from Japan, though. She repeated it in English just in case.

He didn't expect an older girl to appear in the graveyard, nor did he expect her to speak Japanese. He should have expected the Japanese part as he's living in Japan now, but well it takes more than a month to get used to things, especially if one spends that month at home. He knew at least enough to say a few things. However the girl did repeat what she originally said, thankfully. However what she did didn't make any more sense then if she just spoke Japanese.
"What do you mean it's mine? I mean sure I tripped on it but that doesn't claim ownership or anything." Sure a bit rude, but the girl was a bit strange telling him what was his and the like. Getting up he picked the egg up, might as well take it home to look online for it's owner, doubt they'd want an egg this big gone for long. "So uh, see you weird girl."

'Weird girl?' Well, it wasn't like she wasn't used to hearing that. She should have known better than to randomly approach someone with a digimon egg. But wasn't it that simple when she had hers? She was overjoyed to have some who knew what was going on appear when she went to the library with Data's egg. Well, a graveyard was different from a library.
Well, in the end, it seemed like the boy didn't want her help. She gave a little sigh. Well, he'd learn about it in the end.
"Let's go, Data," Alexa said. But Data wasn't with her. Oh dear. It looked like DAta had taken things into his own hands, er, wings.
The large bat digimon flew down over and next to Fahe.
"That egg's not there by chance, kid. They never are. That's a digimon egg you got there. A digimon like me. And you're going to be a tamer, like that girl over there. Speaking of, you should probably apologize for calling her weird," he said, lowering his voice to a growl.
"Relax Data, it's okay," Alexa said, rushing back over. Great, now Data was threatening people? That would only make them more like outcasts.

Again average day, besides the whole egg thing, average, it shot straight up to interesting though when a large bat with what seemed to be a cowl flew next Fahe. Almost dropping the egg in surprise, his interest peaked on the new word, digimon, if in this very egg there was something like the strange bat, then that was something worth having. Brushing past the threat Fahe saw the girl come back most likely to get the bat.
"What's a tamer?" Fahe said with a smile on his lips, not one of malice mind you, just intrigue. Being careful with the egg now, he turned towards the bat. "So Data I presume, tell me more," yes a bit creepy but something new was happening and Fahe was not going to miss it for anything. The egg was cracking at the top now, it would hatch soon and not a thing could stop it, again it used to be an average day.

Data growled. The little punk didn't even apologize. But Alexa was ecstatic. The boy was actually paying attention now! Data swooped over head and landed on ALexas right shoulder, looking stern.
"I'm a tamer. And so are you. It means we have digimon partners, like Data," Alexa explained, patiently.
"Don't tell him anything, he's a little punk," Data said to his tamer. Alexa shook her head.
"Relax, Data. Think of this as our chance to give back. Even if things got off to a bit of a shaky start." She turned back to Fahe and his egg. "What you have in that egg is a digmon, short for 'digital monster'. They come in all kinds of forms, so who knows what you'll get. The important thing is that you'll be partners, working together to help the digital world."
"That's a bit advanced at this point, I think," Data said. Angry though he was, he never gave up a chance to lecture. He turned back to the boy. "Digimon are from the digital world, as you may imagine. You can access it through the train station. Don't go running off now - sure there are cute digimon like yours truly, but there are lots of dangerous ones too. When your egg hatches, it's going to start as a baby digimon. Give it some time, and it will evolve to rookie, like me, and be able to properly battle." Alexa smiled. This really was a lot to take in. And to think, she'd only gotten the whole lecture a few hours ago herself.

Hmm, a partner, a digital world, and it's through the train station. This was getting better and better. The evolution thing did strike him strangely though, they don't age like normal? The egg cracked even more, finally calling the attention of Fahe. "Oh look, it's opening. So before it hatches fully, anything else about this 'tamer' thing that you can get out before I get a partner."
I'd have to take a trip around town once before I go to the train station, he thought, I'm not going to miss a thing, I don't know how this digital world thing works yet. With that final thought the egg cracked open fully revealing a cat like ghost thing. It didn't really make sense for a ghost to be in an egg but that's what it was.

This was quite a day. Data hatched, and now Fahe's partner was going to hatch. Alexa wondered what kind of digimon it would be. She didn't have a lot of experience yet, and there seemed to be so many different kinds of digimon, so she'd probably be surprised by whatever it was.
And out hatched some furry little creature. Like Alexa thought of all digimon at this point, it was a cutie. Alexa had nothing else left to say, and just watched the little creature hatch.
"That's a Pafumon, I think," said Data. "Well, do you have any questions, I guess? And hey there little guy, welcome to the world."

Another was nearby, another teenager, but he was much more stationary, as he was just sitting there, staring at the sky, listening to some atmospheric music, the kind you'd listen to when traversing a world in an mmo. He stared up, his eyes not really focusing on anything, in general, before he heard something, he wasn't exactly sure what it was, it sounded like something was... cracking? He remove his ear buds, listening for the sound, again, before hearing something else. People talking. He panicked, for a moment, as he thought it may be the adviser, looking for him to reunite the group, again, had he been sitting there for too long? But he heard more, and realized it was just some other people, that he didn't recognize.
Curious, but cautious, he moved towards the source of the sound, coming over a hill, and realizing it was a group of people, looking like they were playing with weird toys and balloons, and he shot down behind the hill. Were these a group of vandals or something!? He thought of just leaving, but then he heard a different noise. A heartbeat? no, just a beat, differing from a heartbeat, it sounded like someone striking a sandbag, four punches at a time, "PAF Puf PAF Puf" after every four, it paused, then resumed. He glanced around, realizing it was coming from the cemetery. His curiosity overcame his baser instincts, so he peeked once more, but he noticed that the group wasn't the source of the sound, rather, a grey, flickering... Bowling Ball? It lay right next to the open gate, and he wondered if the others could see it. That's around the time he noticed that the toys were moving on their own, seemingly interested in one another. He ducked back down over the cliff, trying to process, but the sound was growing fainter, and he felt... a need to go to it. He clutched his head, trying to figure out what to do.

Fahe was holding a digimon! Excitement was rushing over him, it was like the first time he got a parrot, it was just instant relief. He really wasn't holding it but it was more or less the same thing. "Hello there, uh, Pafumon," sure great introduction to a life-time partner. "H-hello," it replied back, guess it was a quiet one. However among new things happening today was a device suddenly floating from above and landing on his head. A lot of clumsiness happening today.
Picking the device off of his head it appeared to be some sort of yellow and black phone. Maybe it went with him being a tamer now? Who knows really, except maybe this coincidental guide in front of him. "A guess one last thing you could tell me is what the heck this thing is," he said as he held up the device.

Alexa heard another sound from not too far away. She looked over to Data, but he was too interested in the newly hatched digimon. Alright. She'd keep her ears open, but for now, it didn't seem like they were in any danger.
Data smiled as the two were introduced to each other. It was cute. It was a bit awkward too, but he'd learned to expect that from most interactions with humans, especially after spending a fair amount of time with Alexa.
And then the digivice appeared and bopped the poor kid on the head. Alexa took hers out too, to show him. "That's a digivice. I believe they help you collect your power and help your digimon evolve and grow. I'd show you an example, but the graveyards a bit small to hold Data's pegasusmon form." Not to mention they might be seen by anyone, and it was important to keep digimon secret, or so Yuuki had stressed to her.

The teen peeked over the hill, once more staring at the flickering bowling ball. No one else seemed to see it, as they were still preoccupied with their weird toys. Staring at the bowling ball, he felt he needed to hurry, now he wasn't worried in the slightest about whatever it was, his only concern was not to be seen. He crawled down the hill, before sneaking around, moving slowly and cautiously, as slowly... slowly he approached the flickering ball.
He repeatedly glanced at the group, as he was in the open now, and if they glanced his way, they would be able to see him. He made a sudden movement, as he dove behind one of the stones, right next to the... thing. This close to it, he could hear more than just the beat, as a childlike voice coughed, "Aw, geez, guess this is it, huh...? Man, this really sucks..." It sounded faint, weak, and distant. He touched it, realizing finally that it was alive, and was hurting. He panicked, clutching his head, unsure as to what to do. How could he heal a bowling ball? A voice spoke out to him, and he looked up, as a grey and red box like... Phone thing appeared before him, and a voice, with a beautiful technological whine, that spoke to him. "You are the only one who can help them. Take this Xros Loader, and help this poor creature."
With slow, but steady determination, he reached out for the device, and he grabbed it, causing a flash of light. He shielded his eyes, and dropped the device. When he opened them, again, the flickering creature was gone, and the box-like device sat, a bit damp from the dew on the grass, but polished and clean. He picked it up, staring in wonder, before he went pale, realizing that the flash may have been a bit TOO visible.

"N-nice to m-meet you, uh, partner," The young digimon stuttered. It was adorable, certainly, but now was not the time for adorableness.
"Who is that?" Fahe said while a boy suddenly dashed between two graves, "Also, uh, yo." A lot was happening in a short time, all captivating yes, but he'd rather have it drawn out a bit more than how it was happening. Before he had a chance to do anything more about the random boy a blinding flash issued forth from the spot the boy dashed too. Covering his eyes, Fahe blindly pointed towards the flash, "Agh, uh, Pafumon, can you see what's over there for me?"
"I-I guess I could, b-but how should I do that, y-you need a p-plan," Pafumon said thoughtfully, however Fahe could not see that Pafumon was trying to find someway over to the flash without being seen as he was too busy being temporarily blinded. Sighing, it gingerly floated over to the opposite side of the grave that the boy was hiding behind.

Alexa looked at Pafumon again. Darn, it was a cutie. But that wasn't the right time to be mooning over a cute little creature. A burst of light went throughout the graveyard, something very strange to happen in a graveyard.
Data wasn't too worried. If it was a photographer, the worst a person could think would be that Data was a large bat, or a prank or maybe even a stuffed animal. Still, Pafumon was going towards the source of the light, and since Pafumon was just hatched, it'd be best if Data stuck close by. Data flew over to the gravestone and peered over. There was a teenager with a Xros loader. He waved Alexa over.
"Hey, it's a general! Like Edgar," he said to his partner, who was slowly heading over. He turned to the teen. "Where's your partner? Or partners?"

The stranger was crouched over, staring at the device, sweating profusely, before he slowly turned his head, blinking, a shaky smile creasing his features as he seemed to try to move his device, but ended up just dropping it, he hurried to pick it back up, "Ah... hello..." He muttered out, of course, he managed to attract people over with his careless flashing, he saw the flying bat thing, and assumed it was attached to a string or something, some kind of doll, the girl seemed to be a talented ventriloquist, this wasn't really his business, and doesn't help his situation, either. Her puppet asked him a question, and he turned to her, "Wait, I'm not... I think I grabbed one of your props on accident." He apologized, holding out his loader, entirely misunderstanding the situation. did I just wander into one of those Live action rp things? he thought to himself, "I... I'm really sorry if I'm interrupting anything" He apologized, "I sucked up your ball guy, by accident." He explained, to the best of his ability what he just managed, as he pointed at the screen of the unknown device.
