It was later in the evening when K finally decided to look over the rooms in her Inn. It had gotten to the point where she was getting fewer and fewer customers as of late. Though she couldn't really blame them. Travel was hard with how things were going currently. There were dangers people couldn't explain and problems that people couldn't solve what-so-ever.
So with her inn having closed doors more than open made sense. It was painful and she had to admit she was starting to regret things from time to time. She found herself idly going over the wooden walls on the second floor before frowning just a bit. It was getting more and more worn now; it was even more frustrating. It had only been a decade of her being here, so why did the wood look so much older? She hadn't a clue really.
She sighed softly and went to the top most room; one that had never been rented out. It always helped her relax sitting on the terrace of that room. It overlooked the inn and the road that led up to it. It gave her room to breathe and think.. along with privacy that sometimes she needed.
She pulled out the key-ring to room 401; ironically named since it was the third floor, and there wasn't any other rooms on that level. She'd put it into the lock, twist and go through. She'd make sure to take the keys with her and close the door behind her.
It took maybe three or four steps before she realized this wasn't her inn. It wasn't the lofty entrance and there was no exit to a terrace in front of her. Instead there was a sidewalk; some fencing and people walking by. She froze however when she noted that they were human.
...What in the hell..
She'd turn around and go to the door, trying to open it with the key but found that it didn't work. When she heard someone coming rather than face whatever was going to be there. She vanished. Her Displacement putting her in the alley nearby. She felt nervous; and she also felt wet. By the look of things it was rainy, night and there were only a few people out in this weather.
She cast about and snarled in irritation, climbing up the side of the nearest building to get her bearings. Avoiding the windows where she could and once she eventually got on top of the building she let out a small gasp.
This city was bleeding massive. It was comparable to terminus in every way and it just lacked the flying denizens. It made her nervous and she found herself sitting on the edge of the building, looking rather flabbergasted. Only one question seemed to prioritize itself in her mind.
How did I end up here?
Her attention was brought to somewhere close by where a loud metal on metal collision occured. She flinched but found herself drawn to what had happened... Did another digimon come here too? Or was this something else in the human world?

Despite Alexa's intent interest in the digital world, eventually the fun had to end, and Data and Alexa had to go back home. Alexa wondered what her new friend would think of her place. Sure, she was technically in a dorm room, but it was more of a luxury apartment in the most luxurious part of the city. Her brother had spared no expense in getting her a good place to live. It made her feel guilty though, and she never brought friends over, in case they made fun of her for it. Oh, also, she had no friends, that was a factor too
The rain was an unexpected factor, and though she didn't grumble aloud, carrying the few shopping bags from the digital world back to her place from the train station was a slog. Sure, she could've gotten a taxi, but Data seemed to be having fun darting around in the sky in his rookie form. He managed to stay out of sight in the trees for awhile. Maybe that was how he tailed suspects in the old days? She did still resent him for not helping her with the bags, then again, it would be inconvenient every time he had to hide from all the passing humans.
Things continued quietly in the rain for a few minutes. They were just a few minutes away from Alexa's flat when Data swooped down next to Alexa. His expression was serious. Immediately Alexa was on edge.
"There's a digimon here," Data explained before nodding to the path up ahead. "I spotted it from the air. Looks like it's up to trouble." Alexa gripped her bags tighter. So far, she'd not met an aggressive digimon, but she had guessed it would happen soon enough. Besides Data and Alexa, the streets were deserted now. So it would just be them and the other digimon. And god forbid if things went wrong, they were all on their own. She could contact Yuuki or Edgar, but who knew how long it would take for them to come, if they even go the message.
"Are you ready for this? Should we go a different way," Alexa asked. No need to get into trouble if they could avoid it. Data shook his head.
"The dumb creature's robbing a store. It just broke the glass window to a jewlery shop," Data explained.
Well, that changed things. The integrity of consumer relationships was at stake. Or something like that.
The two slowly approached the ruckus. Sure as rain, the window of a fancy jewelry store was broken. Inside of the store appeared to be a sentient group of rocks, currently looking through the most previous of the gems available.
"That's a gotsumon. Basically his head's full of rocks. Well, his head is rocks," Data explained. He was just a tad too loud, and the Gotsumon turned his attention to the duo. Oh dear.
The creature leaned back, putting his hands above his head. Between his hands, a large rock appeared. And what does one do with a large rock in their hands? Why, throw it of course. And throw it he did, right and Alexa and Data. Luckily the two were a bit faster than a speeding rock, and they managed to jump to the right just in time. The rock collided with a nearby parked car, causing quite a ruckus.
"It's on," Data said with a smile.

She headed towards where she had heard that loud sound from; if it was a digimon here what were they doing? Causing trouble here could mean very bad things in the digital world. After all humans knew about it enough to send their kids there for the most part right? So what would happen if one of them made a mess here? Only bad things. She'd grit her teeth and find herself running, practically leaping roof top to roof top.
It took her maybe a moment or two before she actually reached where sound had come from. She leaned over the side of a building with a strange almost fearful look on her face. Now she was greeted with a strange sight.
There was a younger human, nothing close to what Unica had been but if she had to put her guess on it they were closer to what they'd consider adulthood? She could be wrong on this one. Then near that human was a DemiDevimon. She had worked against a few of those back in the war before, and there had even at some points been one or two of those in her inn at variable points. They never had stayed for very long and she always found they were quick customers. Not wanting to owe someone anything or something like that.
She could tell that whatever had been that abhorrent sound must of come from here. But it wasn't them? Was it? She pondered it when she noted that the human and their DemiDevimon moved quickly out of the way of a speeding rock. The rock collided with a nearby... Thing which made quite the irritating sound. Whatever had made the earlier noise likely was inside the building she currently was standing on. But she felt herself hesitating.
What should she do? She found herself perplexed for the moment. She could jump down, but at the same time it'd likely put her in a strange bind. For now it'd be safer to just watch things play out and if that human along with their demidevimon needed help she could step in rather quickly! Else as it stood, she might just be interrupting something.... that didn't need to be. After all how did the human world really work?

"M-maybe we can talk this out?" Suggested Alexa. Data wanted to shut down the idea, but Alexa was already approaching the Gotsumon, hands out to her sides in an effort to appear peaceful.
"Hey there, um, little guy? Not so little guy? Want to come out of the Jewelry store? That's someone's property, you know," she said kindly. The gotsumon looked her over before taking a step forward. Then another step. Then another. It was quickly shuffling towards Alexa.
"Hey kid, look out," Data warned, but it was a little too late. Alexa, expecting some sort of peaceful interaction, was instead greeted by a swift, heavy punch to the gut. It sent her flying, and she hit the same car that the rock from before had hit.
"You bastard!" Data was seeing red. How dare that digimon attack his tamer. No more mr. nice mon, this gotsumon was going down. The gotsumon approached Data, leaving the confines of the store and entering the street. Data wasted no time, and swooped up into the air, before descending, his claws flailing wildly at the rock creature.
Given it was a rock creature, the claws did minimal damage, and the Gotsumon swatted at Data, eventually smacking him from the air and into the concrete. When did I get so weak, wondered Data. He couldn't even save his own tamer from this stupid Jewel thief.
No, this was not a good nice for Alexa and Data. The gotsumon approached Data lying on the ground. It held it's fist in the air, preparing to punch poor Data into submission. Data closed his eyes, but felt something tugging on him. With a hard pull, Alexa pulled Data out of the way of the gotsumon's fist, which promptly collided with the pavement like Data did before.
Alexa breathed slowly. Each breath was a bit more painful than the last. She was leaking a bit of blood from her mouth. But she'd be damned if that thing killed her partner. Now, the next question was what to do. She could run away, but she had no air left in her to run. She had to make a decision fast, though - the gotsumon just managed to pull his fist free of the pavement, and now had turned his head towards Alexa and Data once more.
"Save yourself, kid," Data said, trying to sound heroic. It only made Alexa clutch him tighter.
"No. We're in this together," Alexa said, trying to sound brave. How much help it would be... that was to be seen.

K gripped the side of the rooftop, watching the human and their partner after that attack. Rather than reciprocate immediately they tried to talk it out. The human even spreading her arms in a peaceful manner. K hesitated and tried to hide herself a bit while she was watching. If things went south what was she going to do? Then there was the Gotsumon.
It approached the human quickly and even punched her! Sending her flying and she hit the same thing that the rock had hit. K put a hand to her mouth to stifle a small sound of anger. There was no reason for them to do that!
Then their partner digimon started to try to attack the Gotsumon. It was a futile effort apparently. The claws of the DemiDevimon not strong enough to pierce the thick hide of the Gotsumon. She felt something strange, a mix of anger and the desire to do something rash.
The anger continued to rise as she watched, the desire intensified. When the human pulled their partner out of the way of the attack she felt something snap, twist and pull itself together. She was engulfed by that sensation. Her entire body collapsed on itself in a burst of gentle light. It was somehow soothing even with all the anger she felt.
At the end of that sensation; she felt cold, taller, angrier than she had been. She took a brief moment to look down... She had a sword now? Unbidden memories sprung up and she growled; pushing them aside. She didn't need to think about those until after she helped this human she had stumbled across.
So she jumped down from the building blade in hand. Being unused to the strength of her body and the size of it. She landed a little further than intended. Initially desiring to land behind the Gotsumon to surprise it, she instead ended up landing on the car behind the human. Metal groaned and the roof of it compacted down-wards.
Rather than speak she stared at the gotsumon for a moment or two after landing, tilting her head slowly; almost in a predatory fashion. When her cape settled around her she pointed a heavily armored finger at the other digimon. With the other arm she slashed with the large sword in an arc above the human and DemiDevimon. She'd miss those two outright and if the Gotsumon didn't move it'd get bisected. Wether or not it did, didn't change what she did next. K would hop down from car and growl in irritation.
"Making trouble like this can only end badly. Shouldn't of done that Gotsumon."

Alexa closed her eyes as the rock creature took slow steps towards them. It was the end. It was their first encounter the a violent digimon, and it was their first day being partners - and already, it was the end.
"Look!" Shouted Data. Alexa didn't really want to, considering that it was possible it'd be her last view, but she did it for her digimon partner. And the fact that there was a huge crunch of metal behind her.
And just when she thought things couldn't get any stranger, they did. Another digmon (it had to be a diigmon, right?) appeared. This time it was a tall lioness-like human. Complete with red cape and sword. Yeah, if it was looking to battle them and Data, they were double toast.
Thankfully, it looked like luck was finally on their side. The digimon made a grand gesture, and with a wave of its sword, it seemed to chop the rock digimon in half. Alexa could hardly believe it.
"Thank you so much. You're out hero," Alexa said, shakily. While it seemed like the digimon was there to help, even she knew things could change suddenly.
Data wiggled out of Alexa's arms and took flight again, flying close to the other digimon's head, inspecting it. It looked like a Leomon X, sans mane. Still pretty cool though.
"It's a champion digimon," Data said to Alexa. He did have a habit of being a bit rude. Alexa hoped his wouldn't bite them in the butt later.
Speaking of biting in the butt, before Alexa could properly introduce herself and her partner to their savior, the pile of rocks started coming together again. It returned to the same form as earlier, only instead of being grey rocks, it seemed like the creature was made of rock shards of ice.
"No. You shouldn't have done that," Icemon said. It turned it's head to K, angrier than ever.
"Demi Dart!" Data explained, summoning a syringe and throwing it at the newly evolved pile of ice. It managed to just barely hit, striking the ice creature right in the arm pit.
The burst of strength faded however, and just as quickly as Data had hoped into the air, her ended up falling down. Alexa was able to catch him, but she doubted either had much fight in them left.
"Stupid creature," the icemon said, turning once more to Alexa and Data, as though it had completely forgotten the other digimon who'd sliced him in half earlier. "Iceball bomb!"
A decent sized chunk of ice few from it's mouth right at Alexa and Data.

The human and their demidevimon seemed surprised to see another digimon appear out of the blue. It made sense after all; she was just hiding a few moments ago out of sight and out of mind. There was worry palatably in the air right after she had landed, but her attack against the gotsumon seemed to ease that sensation.
"Just couldn't sit by and watch that."
She'd comment, noting the blood from the human's mouth. That was bad, she was hurt rather badly wasn't she? Did this form even have healing powers? She glanced down at the sword and then stiffen slightly when the Demidevimon flew close to her head, she'd eye them curiously and then shake her head.
"That's a first. I thought I'd be a rookie forever."
K would perk up and turn her attention to the pile of rocks as it moved. She narrowed her eyes slightly when it spoke, it seemed angry but it was the one being foolish in such a place! The demiDevimon launched an attack of it's own, and of course came a memory of a ferocios fight somewhere in the forest once called her home. She'd put a hand to her head and frown; what did that even mean? She'd snort and her ears would flick forward.
"None of that."
She'd step in front of the Iceball bomb, pysically blocking the projectile with her body. Sure it stung like a son of a gun but she had to admit that it likely would of stung more if she had been a rookie still.
She'd brush off the impact zone with a gauntletted hand, growl softly as she could feel that anger flare up again. This foolish creature was something that she couldn't stand, someone who didn't follow the rules as they were set. Objects meant for flavour and grace often were sold by hard working people; and this creature just walked all over that.
"Lion's Fist!"
She'd form the hand that was not holding her sword into a fist, of which suddenly ignited itself in flames. Taking a step forward she'd attempt to sock the icemon in the head with it. After all, fire beat Ice right? Or something like that...

Alexa once more closed her eyes expecting a sharp and brutal pain, but then she heard ice breaking, and felt no pain. When she opened her eyes she realized, to her immense guilt, that the lioness digimon had taken the blow for them. That's twice this mysterious digimon had save their behinds. This digimon did seem to have a strong sense of justice - given her mention of being unable to watch. Alexa did wonder what the digimon meant by 'being a rookie forever'. Were digimon only able to evolve to their higher forms during dire circumstances?
The icemon continued to glare at K, and took a step forward. In its attempt to look cool, the ice creature managed to walk right into Ks flaming fist. A burst of steam and a loud scream were heard as the creature's head on the left size began to melt. It was not a pretty sight.
"Ice strike," it screamed mixed with garbled curses and shrieks of agony. It lifted up one hand and fire two ice chunks at K.
"Watch out," Alexa exclaimed. It wouldn't be much help, but it was the least she could do in this circumstance. She looked down to Data. He was breathing, but his breathing was ragged. He seemed to be slipping in and out of consciousness.

K couldn't let this human or the other digimon get hurt more than they already were. They had to body block this Icemon from getting to them in any way possible. even if that meant taking attacks to the chest or other body parts. She felt the anger boil furiously as the icemon seemed to think that it could act tough against her. She cared very little about coolness or acting tough. There was no acting or just attempting to be either. You were or you weren't. Just simple as that.
With the other screaming in front of her, the attack it called out made her stiffen. It still had the ability to do things like this with half it's face melted away? She snarled softly bringing her hands above her head, grasping the sword firmly in both of them.
"Eternity Blade."
With that, the sword grew to almost twice the size than before. In both length and width. Making it closer to something out of a final fantasy game rather than actual realistic sword. The ice strike smacked her firmly in the chest and with a roar she brought the sword down in a large overhead motion that would end with her impacting the ground with such a force that it'd smash the concrete underneath the icemon. If it didn't get out of the way, it would get cleaved in two again.

The Icemon might've been tough, but smart it was not. Happy that it managed to get K with its' ice attack, it didn't even think to get out of the way of her ginormous sword. And K's swing ended the life of that particular Icemon. The thing was cleaved in two, and it's dissected body parts fell pathetically to either side before dispersing into data.
"Wow." That was about all Alexa could muster at the moment. And indeed, K deserved a 'wow' at the very least. "Thank you. Thank you so much. If you hadn't come by, we'd have been toast."
"More like put on ice," Data said very weakly.
"Data! You're okay?" Alexa held her partner tight, just managing not to choke him in her affection.
"Yeah, thanks to this one over here," He said, pointing a wing over to K. "Hey, um, no chance you're going to want to hurt us or anything, right? We're not in fighting shape," Data said.
"Data, don't be like that. They saved us," Alexa said, though she herself wondered if their luck was just bad enough that their savior would turn out to be another enemy they had to face.

The icemon was simply cleaved in two with her massive swing, sure the attacks smarted and she would likely feel them later but.. She had to admit that she didn't care as much since they weren't fire attacks. She was starting to feel bad for those that she had used them on, since they usually looked really painful. She'd take a moment and pull her sword out of the ground, noting that it was much heavier and seemed like it was going to stay that way.
She'd turn to the other two, flashing a small but hopefully re-assuring smile. She'd squat down to look the both of them over. Being able to tell that the youth was hurt a lot worse than their partner. After all they had likely been unable to resist that punch at all. She doubted that without treatment that they'd be okay.
"I suppose it's in both of our lucks that I happened by then."
She'd snort softly at at the joke the DemiDevimon made; it was a poor one most certainly but the timing was impeccable. She had to admit that she would of made something similar if she had been younger.
"Better shape than you are in unfortunately."
She'd blink owlishly at the guess that she wasn't going to hurt them. She'd shake her head softly; tutting gently and raising a finger.
"No, even if I had wished ill on the both of you wouldn't it of done me better to let the icemon finish you off rather than step in?"
She'd stare at the human and sigh softly and look down at her sword frowning as some knowledge seemed to run through her head. She could heal this but.. They likely would not like how she was going to have to do this.
"My name is K. I am usually a renamon and I know this is going to sound really weird. But you need to trust me."
The sword shifted in her grip and it was certainly heavy but she managed to point the tip at the human not in an overly threatening manner.
"But if I'm going to help you get better, I'm going to need to stab or uhm... Impale you with my sword."

Alexa smiled back, though she still felt pretty worried. Their savior towered over them, and if god forbid they changed their mind, they could still do some damage. And Alexa was not in any state to take more damage.
"Yes, very lucky," Alexa said. Data was still on guard until K pointed out the obvious. It made sense. If they wished the dup any ill will, they could've just let Icemon have his fun and all. Data felt a bit silly that he hadn't looked at it from that angle.
With all that in mind, the two balked at K's healing suggestion.
"Let me get this straight. You need to stab Alexa to make her better," Data repeated, incredulously. "No no no. A hospital it is."
Alexa looked at the sword for a moment, considering. The digimon made some good points, and just had helped them out. And heck, digimon worked in strange ways. Who wasn't to say a sword wouldn't help heal her? And though she didn't want to worry Data, going to a hospital seemed like it would be out of the question without a lot of help.
"O-okay," Alexa said, once more trying to sound brave.
"Are you mad?" Data asked, looking from K back to Alexa. What kind of crazy world was he in?
"She's right. She could've done away with us before. And she saved us. I... I trust her," Alexa explained.
Data sighed. If Alexa said yes, there wasn't much he could do. Well, he could try to physically pull her away, but in this form, that wasn't a great option. He had to put his trust in the Leomon X, hard as it was. Alright. He puffed himself up, trying to look tough.
"Right. Well. Do it slowly, so I can watch and make sure you aren't actually stabbing her. The moment any blood comes out, I'll scratch your eyes out, got me?" Data probably didn't have the strength to try to scratch K's eyes out, but saying it made him feel better.

K rubbed the back of her head sheepishly, as the human agreed with her that they got rather lucky. The DemiDevimon seemed to be on guard for a short amount of time up until K suggested her healing alternatively. She understood their hesitance and she understood if they refused. However when Data repeated what she had said she simply nodded.
"Yes. I do."
She'd confirm what she had said to this digimon; though the human seemed to inspect her sword as well as considering what she had said. Which was mad honestly. They'd have to be foolish to outright trust her in any manner that would...
Then the human said that it was okay; K blinked tilted her head like she was actually surprised by the simplicity of the matter. She'd exhale softly, lifting her sword up ever so slowly. She'd hold it in two hands, shaking her head just a little bit.
"I wasn't expecting that to be honest."
She'd murmur and glance at the DemiDevimon as he basically threatened her. She'd snort and stare at him for a few moments.
"One of your attacks barely scratched the Icemon, how would I be any different?"
She pointed this out and then gently inhaled, focusing that feeling and that knowledge along her blade. She felt something odd, like something that had snapped somewhere suddenly mended. The sword itself didn't look any different, but the aura of malice that you usually got from looking at some blades simply wasn't there.
"Curative blade."
And with that K's sword slipped firmly into Alexa's injured portion of her body. It was slow but it wouldn't feel painful. If anything it'd be the exact opposite. By the time that the blade hilted the healing energies would of spread throughout the human's body. Healing any problems there and easily fixing the damage that had been dealt to her.
However there was a problem now. At the end of this K's leomon-x digivolution ended and she was now suddenly returned to Being a renamon. Standing there blinking owlishly. Her hands oddly at her sides. She'd look down at her hands and then back up to Alexa. There was no entry point for the blade, ti was simply as though it didn't exist but had healed her none the less.
"...Well today is a lot of firsts it seems..."

Data huffed. Okay, yeah, sure, he couldn't actually hurt K in any way or form, but it was the principle of the thing, making sure any one who might hurt his tamer thought twice, that mattered. Still, he was quite helpless. And helplessly, he watched his tamer get struck with a sword. He never wanted to feel this helpless again.
Alexa closed her eyes tight, expecting a sharp stabbing pain. Instead, she felt a warmth in her body, like a warm blanket on a cold day. The blood from her mouth dried up, and the aches she had felt previously began to dull and then disappear. She could breathe again without difficulty. She didn't feel completely better, but she was a long way better than she had been before.
"Wow. That's quite an experience," she said, finally looking down to see the healing sword impale her body. And then just as suddenly, it disappeared. In the lioness's place was a tall fox like digimon. Presumably, K's rookie form.
"I'm guessing that's the first time you digivolved," Data said, now acting much warmed considering his tamer had no, in fact, been sliced to bits. "As you gain more experience, you can sustain your time in higher forms longer." With that said, he then turned to Alexa. "You look much better, kid. You feeling better too?"
Alexa nodded. "Yeah, I'm quite well now. Thank you so much, K. Oh. I'm Alexa, by the way. My partner is Data. Speaking of," she looked over Data carefully. Gosh, it felt nice being able to move without pain. "Data, how are you feeling?"
"I could be better, but I'll survive," the bat said. He looked exhausted, but he didn't have an blood or data coming out, so that was alright at least.

K could tell what data was thinking or at least feeling. It was a common place sensation that everyone would feel at some point. She'd watch the human carefully, she seemed to be okay and in fact the energy from the sword certainly made her look a bit better.
She looked fairly out of sorts as K was standing there, turning over her hands time and time again. That sensation of anger and the soothing calm that came from it. She'd have to remember that sensation to perhaps trigger another digivolution down the line... If that's how they even worked.
"First time having to stab someone to heal them but.. I Guess it works?"
She'd give a small smile to the human and turn her head to Data; bobbing her head in a small nod.
"Yes; at least as far as I can remember it is. Which goes back.. Quite a ways."
K looked puzzled and looked down at her hands again. Unsure what to follow up with on that part. She'd pause and turn back to the Human; giving them a small smile when they introduced both their partner and themselves. Easy names to remember to say the least.
"A pleasure to meet the both of you, Wish it could of been under better circumstances."
She'd blink and glance at data; then back to their human partner. She'd consider something and hold up a hand, the soft glowing light that she was used to appearing doing so without much issue. Though it seemed fainter than she remembered. Somewhat odd really.
"Well, I can use my Aura To help aleviate any pain or the like. I guess every form of mine might have something simular."
