Well, that was kinda to be expected, in all honesty. Given some digimon were sapient, killing each other was probably forbidden by law. How good were they at enforcing that law, however, was something she wondered. "I see. Makes sense, even if permanently killing somebody who has the chance of coming back is kinda... final. Must be pretty harsh."
Not like she could know about it, however. Humans just had one shot at life; not second chances or opportunities. If you bit the dust or made a stupid mistake once, it'd chase you for the rest of your life. Then again, not knowing if you got a second chance or not after dying was probably as harsh? Probably not really.
Did she really not know what a gun was, though? Man, she even thought she remembered some digimons using them! Even if she didn't know the digimons' names. That was a bummer. "Well, a gun is like... a small contraption that looks like this." Despite being somewhat embarrassing, the brunette literally fingergunned, hoping K would catch on the general shape of it. "Cept it's not connected to a body, it's made of metal, and it's usually stored on a special sheath called holster, usually worn around the wait. You'll probably notice them right away."
That was probably an explanation that was just... too long-winded. Luckily for them, they managed to reach the tower's entrance by the time Amelie finished it. After parking her bike and once again scooping the small digimon within her arms, she gazed at her somewhat awkwardly. "Now... remain quiet for a second. And... sorry for having you go through this."
The brunette opened her backpack, and after making some space deposited K inside. It wasn't bound to be extremely comfortable, but at least it wasn't super bad. Or at least that's what she thought.
Making her way towards the entrance, she went through the required procedures and bought a ticket to get access. Once inside, and while she stared at the many elevators, she opened her backpack to get K out again. "Sorry. Now we're good. Just make sure to not raise your voice too much; we risk getting unwanted attention otherwise."
Now, only waiting for an elevator remained before they could climb upwards.

K sighed softly; she never had approved of the whole concept of absorbing other digimon but there were cases that needed to be had. Such as one digimon simply not learning it's lesson after doing some terrible things or.. Even worse. Most of the time that'd just end in them being digitized and they'd come back some day but as a whole person. Some chances were simply not enough however.
"Increadibly. There are some cases where it simply isn't enough and they must be removed permanantly. It's very rare, but it happens from time to time in luminas I've been told..."
She'd watch the other curiously for a moment and then listen to her explanation. Nodding her head as they did so, it made sense somewhat. They did have something oddly simular to that; but.. Well. They often were attached or sentient versions of it in comparison to what was being put out. She'd consider briefly and glance to the side.
"All right. I imagine they're dangerous if you are warning me of them?"
Then of course came the suggestion for her to remain quiet. So K simply zipped her lips, returning that gaze that was given to her with a small quirk of the eyebrow. She'd let out a soft puff of air before being put into the backpack. She'd settle down and make sure she wasn't sitting on her tail; getting quite a neutral expression on her face.
then of course after a little bit she was brought out. In a hushed voice she'd speak. She thought about something briefly and then considered it for a few moments before asking.
"....Do.. All humans know of digimon?"

All in all, the discussion about ending an existence permanently wasn't in Amelie's interests for the day and neither was if any being had the authority to face that decision without ego. So... better if it just lied there; no point in beating a dead horse, she felt.
The concept of police was that foreign for digimon? That was really interesting, in all honesty. At times like these, the brunette wondered how different their societies must've been. And how unorganized the other seemed in comparison; maybe this was just her being prejudiced about it, but she was sure time will tell her about that one.
Lest to say, she wasn't sure on how she'd explain this one, making her think for a second. "Well... they aren't dangerous, really?" The teenager explained quickly. "But they're responsible for making sure nothing bad happens. I know you're not up to no harm, but these guys are bound to at least raise an eyebrow at a 'talking animal', and if we're really unlucky, our journey will be interrupted because they'll want to 'ask us some questions'. We don't want any of that to happen, amirite?"
Luckily, nothing bad happened and they could get in without further issue and once K was brought out, the question that ensued was a bit... surprising? It was honestly a bit hard to explain, but she thought she could answer it. Somewhat. "Well..." Was the first word of a hushed answer. Didn't mean it was easy, though. "In the strictest sense... they aren't. However, you can pass up as a stuffed animal, and I can pass up as one of those people that's skilled at making those talk. If anything, I'll probs get a pair of side glances and some raised eyebrows, but that's probably not that bad, especially considering the kind of stuff that happens over this city."
After all, they were in the heart of a city where Maid Cafés and otakus were commonplace. Eventually, the elevator descended, and the pair began to ride it directly to the observation deck. They'd be a bit cramped, considering how much people was inside, but that small trip would end soon enough.
Not to say, what they found at the other side was more or less amazing.

K didn't really have much to say else on the matter of absorbing others; she never would do it. She knew that for a fact, there wouldn't be any indication of this honestly.
In fairness, the closest thing they had to police officers was likely those from Luminas and those digimon that were.. Well. Bent up on justice and the like. She had to admit she felt a small kinship with them. Order over chaos but understanding that both had their places.
"We have something simular to that I suppose.. But I wouldn't really label them as not dangerous. And I understand, So it's best if I keep myself quiet or at least make certain that no one overhears..."
She'd flick her ears and look around; before looking up at amelie. The explanation of digimon not being known to all was actually VERY shocking to the renamon. So much so that the viximon went silent for a bit; growing slightly concerned of things.
If humans don't all know about digimon but all humans know of digimon.. This could lead to some incredibly bad things for the both of us...
She'd almost voice her concerns but she froze when there were other people in the Elavator. She didn't want them to hear her and the small digimon felt herself grow increasingly nervous as time passed. She felt her jaw drop when their journey to the top of this tower ended....

There was only one word to describe the tower's observation deck; simply amazing. A gigantic room, ending in a plethora of glass panels gave a three-hundred-sixty-degree view of everything around them, and even if night had already fallen and that somewhat affected the area's overall visibility, the panorama wasn't any less breathtaking. Maybe somewhat related to Terminus, but the sight of an endless amount of neon lights illuminating most of Shibuya was amazing in its own right.
Walking towards the nearest panel, she began to gaze outside; she had already seen these sights, but they were still amazing enough on their second peek that she didn't mind. "Amazing, ain't it? I'm not sure if these are the best views we can get of the city, but it gets pretty close!"
Amelie began to slowly thread through the glass panels, sharing the full panorama with K as they went through. A beautiful sight, and one that many others seemed to share with them. "Say, does your world have places like this? The only city I've been ins Terminus, and that seems like... a bit of a mess? I don't know, I just couldn't even get used to the city's layout."
Maybe she was exaggerating a bit? Probably.

K stared out of the windows, absolutely flabbergasted about what she was seeing. There was quite a few people here as well; people she wasn't sure about as they covered all sorts of ages. She could see youth and even the elderly here. It was strange really. But she couldn't help but be curious here.
K stared out of the panel that Amelie walked to, there was so much that you could see from there. She'd give a small almost reverent nod. The hushed whisper that followed seemed amazed if anything.
"It's.. better than any view I've seen before.. Beats a sunset.. or sunrise in the digital world..."
K's eyes remained firmly on the outside even though they had to weave about the glass panels. There were many a person also enjoying the sight of this, which wasn't surprising in the least bit and she couldn't help but wonder how it felt to see this so often...
"...In terminus maybe. It's always been a mess, even back when I was still surviving off the land rather than being a innkeep. Is the human world full of things like this?"
What could she really say? She hadn't been to all the major sites in the digital world for quite some time now that she thought about it. She had only ever been to luminas once or twice and.. even it didn't hold a candle to this place.
"What of you? Do you have a spot you enjoy?"

A faint smile drew in Amelie's face as she observed K's face while she looked at the panorama. It was an amazing sight, and the brunette herself probably had that expression on her own face the first time she came to this place; as traveled as she was, each time she reached one of this kind of places, they always managed to take her breath away.
And K didn't seem to be that different from her, at least on that aspect. The response to her own inquiry almost got lost in her own amazement, but she luckily caught the gist of it, thinking that maybe... the Digital World had to have a place like this? She definitely had to visit it if there was.
"Actually, yeah. There are lots of places like this one; all around the world. Don't think this one isn't amazing, but this isn't the prettiest sight I've had while in this world; there's plenty around, and way more beautiful, to boot. If you stick for long enough or eventually come back for a second round, maybe I'll get to show you some of them!"
When facing the Viximon's last question, Amelie couldn't but go to the tank... for a while. Did she have a place she truly enjoyed. "I mean, these places are beautiful, but I've yet to discover... which one is my favorite? It's tad hard, I guess."
Not like she was in a hurry, however! The first round around the panels went quickly enough; maybe K wanted to keep going? Or... "Do you want to go in for another round? Or do you prefer to get something for dinner? Place's probably closing soon, but I think we have time for one last round."

K shifted just a little bit in Amelie's arms, she wasn't sure how she felt being carried around like this. It was beyond odd to say the least. But she also had to admit both company and location was good; so she could get over it quite easily.
"That'd be amazing Honestly, I wouldn't mind coming back to see views like this... But as it stands I don't think I'm going back to the digital world all too soon. I just have a feeling."
She'd wiggle her ears a little bit and shift again, looking up at the human curiously as they answered her harder question. It made sense to her that it was hard to pick a spot; after all each world must of had it's spots right? Things that neither had seen or the ilk.
She'd ponder the other's query about dinner or the second round. She'd take a long look out of the panel; thinking quietly to herself about possible places in the digital world a building like this would likely be visited from all over the place. She couldn't immediately think of anything so she'd just get a small grin before nodding; which was now a full body action for the most part.
"lets do something for Dinner, We could perhaps come back another time when it's not so busy?"

Apparently, K was sure she wasn't going back to the Digital World in some time. That was... oddly premonitive? Not like Amelie had any objections about it, however. Just as long as the Viximon could lay low in case she had visits that didn't know about digimon, they would be fine.
It could probably be awkward as hell for her to live on Earth looking like that, though. What was she going to do about it? Probably something she was going to ask later. For now... her stomach rumbled slightly.
How embarrassing. A faint pink blush coursed through the brunette's face the realization; K was pretty near her stomach, so hearing it was probably out of question. "We can come back as often as you want, well, given I don't have to do something like going to school." Truth to be told, she hadn't made many friends in Japan, so this was some welcome company.
"Gotcha. I think I can cook something at home, but if don't feel like it, I can probably buy something on our way back. Your choice, really!"
Amy would begin to make her way back; they had one elevator to ride down and a somewhat lengthy ride left.

If anything K wasn't sure, in fact she didn't know how she'd be able to go back after a short time already. She was sure that canton was looking for her worriedly and that her other chefs were panicking about who would pay them while the leomon did other things to make ti work. She admitted she was being selfish but after being there for so long-
The Viximon froze and felt her eyes widen a bit. What? She had only been there for ten years, it hadn't been that long had it? She furrowed her brow in thought and then shook her head again.. She was greeted with the sound of Amelie's stomach growling and the small digimon chuckled. They were both hungry it seemed; the digimon a little less so more than likely considering how recently she had a sandwich.
"Maybe in a few days, or at least before I leave, whenever that is."
She'd suggest and shift in the other's grip as they suggested that they could cook or buy something on the way back. Considering that they didn't feel like cooking K simply suggested the ideal thing that would make the both of them happy.
"Well if that's the case, why not buy something on the way back? I'm not very picky."
On the ride down the elevator K considered something; something that she hadn't really before.
Was the inn really what she wanted?

That was the plan, then! Given Amelie's mostly non-intrusive nature, she let the topic lie there. K's life was her own, and she was free to do with it what she pleased, she guessed. That idle thought nagged at her as she went out of the elevator and the building, back where she had left her bicycle.
Making sure the Viximon was back in her place, she began to move once again, this time not as quickly as before. Hunger was really beginning to take its toll. "Say... what kind of food do you like? Wouldn't want to get the wrong impression on my newest guest."
Despite being told that she wasn't picky, she'd insist. It was common courtesy for the hostess to be as gracious as possible, after all! Not to say this wasn't much of an issue for her. If she still got evasive answers, however, she'd just stop by the next mart and buy some groceries before continuing the way back home. "Say..." Maybe this question was a bit too personal, but she still figured she wanted to ask it. "Ever been away from home for too long? Don't you... miss it?"
It was something she had, in a way, asked to everyone she had met. Truth was that the brunette never had a place to call home, and was curious about what others thought about the notion.

K pondered the question; what sort of food did she honestly like? well any sorts of meats and honestly she had to admit she had always been a fan of noodles. She considered briefly if they had anything like that here; where you could get noodles and the like.
"Well I do like most meats and uhm.. Don't suppose humans have some kind of noodles?
She'd inquire and look back at the human as she noted the general speed that they were going. Was she tired? She considered briefly about what they could do. Perking up she'd look back at the other; about to ask something... Well. She said something rather open ended followed by a question she honestly didn't know what to say to.
K looked down and thought about it; she was born in the wild. She had moved around so much and when she built a place for her to be... Well it just didn't feel right to her. She'd slowly shake her head.
"...I was born in the northern most reaches of the digital world, where Ice and freezing weather presided above all else. I lived with my father and mother in that waste of a place until I became strong enough to be on my own. By then I had started to wander around and.. Well. Honestly I never really had a place to call home. Sure the inn of mine is.. Great. But it.. doesn't feel like a home to me. It feels like a place I can help others. Which I like."
She'd admit and sigh softly looking down, ears splaying out as she thought about it for a moment.
"I expect that I'll move on from there some day. Before someone had asked me to move out of the inn and go to whitewater to do nursing, I said no because I thought I'd end up just being in the inn for the rest of my life. But after all these things, I don't know if I can settle down."

Well, that had been easy enough. Meat and noodles could make a whole lot of dishes, but there was already one she was well-practiced at making! "Yup, of course there are noodles in here! We have over one-hundred noodle varieties, you know? Japanese aren't all that versed on their handling as some other cultures, but lucky for us I'm not Japanese."
Nor Italian, while at it, but if the French could pride themselves of something, it was of being able to steal the signature foods of every other country! "Hope your ready for the most delicious dish of pasta you've ever tasted, friend. Because you're gonna get just that."
Newfound determination surged through Amy, and she found herself pedaling even faster than when getting to the tower in the first place! Getting to her apartment would be really easy this way, and even if she had to cook after a drawn-out day, the satisfaction of a dish well-done would take care of that pretty handily.
The whole journey would end quickly enough; park the bike, get K outta it, enter the apartment, then ascend right towards the third floor in order to get to her apartment. "There you go. We're finally here!" She said as she set the bags near the kitchen's table before setting to work. "Mind setting the table? I'll get to cook."
Resulting in... a pretty amazing looking spaghetti with pesto dish. It was a bit on the simple side, but luckily it'd be good enough! Sitting with a big smile on her face, the brunette would wait for K's first bite and subsequent opinion on the dish before beginning to eat on her own.

K shifted slightly and raised her brows just a tad as Amelie explained about the noodles and such. She wasn't sure about that whole bit but they were unlikely to lie right? So she just had to hope they weren't!
"I didn't know that actually!"
She'd chuckle lightly and then blink a bit as the other seemed to claim about making or getting some pasta. It being the best that she'd ever taste, which was quite a claim to say the least! But k would certainly settle for a bit of food even if it was just with a new friend.
"I can hardly wait..."
She wasn't expecting the faster speed of the bike, and was rather surprised about the venture to the apartment. She had never been in one before and she had to admit she liked how quaint it was over all. She'd look about curiously and then perk up nodding at the query of her being able to set up.
"Rather cozy, and just a moment..."
A few moments later she was a renamon again, going about to set up the table for the forthcoming food. She was rather quick to do so and waited patiently for the food that was coming afterwards. She had to admit she was rather hungry even though her last meal wasn't too long ago.
She had to admit, the first bite surprised her. She wasn't expecting the taste, even if the dish looked rather wonderful. She'd give the other a grin and nod to them in approval finding it unwise to talk with her mouth full. So she waited until she had at least finished that bite to speak.
"Very tasty! Good job Amelie~"
She had to admit that she was going to enjoy it here. With the night passing she was glad that she had met Amelie here in such a fashion, else who knows what might of happened?

She had outdone herself, hadn't she? There were few sensations as rewarding as having your work praised, and it wasn't any different with food. "I'm glad you like it! I actually learned this recipe from my mom. For some reason, she really liked the food from that region, even though she was from another. Pretty weird, I guess."
Oh well, not like either of her parents were too into their cultures, in all honesty. "Some time since the last time I had others for dinner, now that I think of it. I think that last time it was... mom, a month or so ago. Time flies when you live alone, I guess."
Indeed it did. Some time would pass but eventually, the two of them would finish their dishes, Amy promptly undoing the table as she set everything to wash it later. "Let me show you your room." She gestured to K, before going to the room next to hers. It was a bit small, but had enough space for all the essentials; a bed, a wardrobe and a light table with a small lamp. "Hope it's good enough for you! I'll do the dishes and crash into my bed. If you need anything, just tell me! The bathroom is the second door on the right."
And just like that, the night would pass by. Funny how two unlikely acquaintances would become friends over something as trivial as this. [Exit Thread]
