Colin, Luke and Gaz followed Marshal as requested, taking seats near the piano in the manor's guest room. They listened to his song in a contemplative silence.
Luke thought of his brother, how he had a family now, and seemed to be unable to handle the pressures of being partner, father, lover and brother all at once. But, it seemed, he wanted to move the balance more to his own family. Which he admitted kind of worried him, hearing this song, he felt those worries lift a little. There was nothing malicious about feeling love for another after all. Perhaps... soon Luke would seek to do the same, make a family of his own?
Gaz by now had got a good idea of what her new family was like by now. It wasn't only just Bellamy and Coronamon, her parents, but she could see the bonds and love that connected everyone in this manor. Her parents had human partners - Colin and Marshal; and their extended families too. Bellamy had a brother, Luke, just like she also had a brother in Finn. She felt a wonderful sense of belonging now. Everyone had accepted her and seemed to like her. Since her parents were spending time alone, Gaz would sit by Finn's side, resting her head on his chest.
"I'm sorry you had to fight dad like that" she said. "But... I believe you when you say you're strong enough to protect us, aniki". She used the informal term for 'big brother' that she hoped he'd understand.
Colin sat there, rapt with attention meanwhile, thinking of his own travels in life so far. Like Luke, he felt really happy that Bellamy had found love like this and cared so much about it. He'd do everything in his power to support that little furry Impmon and his family. And he'd start by making the one that had tormented him so pay for what he had done to him.
Meanwhile, while they were alone, and of course Bellamy had let out some pressure with his natural urges with Coronamon, as the two laid down in bed, Bellamy feeling wonderful, he remained embraced with his fiance, stroking Coronamon's fur.
There was something on the back of his mind though, something that had been bothering him that had made him oppose taking Finn with them to the dark area. That so far in his time as Colin's partner, nothing really bad had happened to him. And he expected that to be rectified in the dark area.
But, from hearing the song from downstairs, he felt that... just maybe... his deep held belief that something bad would always happen to everyone... might not be true? After all, when he wasn't with Coronamon, he'd still have him in his thoughts and dreams, that somehow, some way they would always be able to return to a home and be a family, if only for a little time.
"I love you so much, Coronamon" he whispered, glad to have this moment with him. Eventually of course he would hear the party below and join it, but, he was just glad to share this moment alone with the digimon he loved. "Our wedding's gonna kick ass so much" he added with a playful grin.
