Mission BriefingOf all of Mikemon's recent ideas, this might have proven the most foolhardy. Thankfully, his post at the Mission Guild hadn't gone amiss: for one, the Doctor hadn't yet been discovered at his current coordinates, and two, he had actually managed to get a few signed up on this mission other than K. Time would tell if they could be trusted, but if nothing else the entire group was about to be in the thick of it.
The coordinates that Mikemon had set led to a Blimpmon, settled in the Eastern Timberlands, about a mile off of the Spartan Training Grounds. By starting at a place outside of Luminas' rule, he hoped to reduce the risk of this mission as much as he could. Right now, the Champion found himself checking the equipment outside the vehicle!
"Alright, so like this, we'll be able to drop right in?"
"Mm, should be. But don't think I'm going to stick around for too long - you got three hours to get in and out." The Blimpmon's mechanical voice whirled ahead. "I'll be stealthed coming in, both ways, so be sure you keep track of your exit point."
"Much appreciated." Stowing the rope back into the side, the feline gave a sigh. Right now, all he could do was hope that everyone would arrive on time.

Failure simply wasn't an option, to fail at this important junction would mean that she would have less to worry about. In fact failure meant that she simply would likely end up being forgotten and locked away for lord knew how long.
From what she had been told, they had a few extra people other than her and she was glad that they were able to get some. After all if they had too large of a group they obviously would get noticed and it'd be quite the battle to progress.
Rather than show up to the location that was given in her ultimate form which for some reason remained the most comfortable for the most part. She deigned to do so with her renamon state. So when she ended up arriving at the blimpmon's location along with the mikemon's she let loose a small sigh of relief.
From the looks of it, everything was prepared and they were only going to be waiting for the others to show. If they were lucky they would go largely unnoticed for the whole trek.
But honestly, since when did things go that way? Pushing the question to the side she'd wave and give a greetings to the Mikemon.. along with the blimpmon.
"And here we are again, about to leap into the fire. Everything ready I presume?"
The renamon really didn't want to think about all the things she had done in the downtime to pass the moments she felt she had left. It just made her actions feel a little more hollow than she wanted...

John and his Agumon partner, Casimer, were the second and third to arrive at the designated location. This was the pair's third mission that they had ever taken on. On that note, why did it feel like each task became progressively more dangerous? It was only mere months ago when John and Casimeir played their role in the Tyrant's Labyrinth.
"Are you sure you want to go through with this?" The Agumon voiced his concerns to his human partner, making sure to lock his emerald eyes on John as they approached the Blimpmon and the others.
John shrugged a bit, thinking about the question. "Infiltrate one of the most secure islands in the Empyrean Skies, steal an artifact, and slip back out. All to save someone's life." He trailed off for a moment. "Yeah. I want to do this."
The pair stopped when they were within a few steps from the Mikemon and Renamon. Each appeared to be here for the same reason at first glance. "Hey," John greeted with a raised hand. "I take it you guys are also here for, well. You know."

Everything in this mission was risky. Even the contact. Viktor had never met this 'Mikemon' before, nor did he bother to ask around. He instead watched carefully through a pair of binoculars some hundred meters away. He handed them to Genesis as the two watched the others arrive;
"What do you think?" he asked plainly.
"Seems legitimate enough... K is there, so it's not all strangers."
Viktor sighed, he recalled K and Genesis back in Whitewater, running to a hospital or the like. Genesis knew her well enough. Viktor did not.
"Let's go, then. It looks like we're the last ones."
Genesis cocked in confusion her head as Viktor stood up and stowed the Ghillue cloak into his bag, pointing back to the distant figures on the horizon, "Our briefing mentioned three parties, excluding Mikemon. K showed and now two more are arriving. We're number three."
Just as soon the last member was done greeting themselves, Viktor and Genesis appeared like ghosts from the void, looking to the other members and storing their bags right away,
"Okay, Mikemon, Viktor and Genesis are here... It's your show."
Viktor didn't truly know Mikemon, but he knew of him through the mission dossier, also simply by his species. If he went by anything else, he'd no doubt correct him.
As Viktor helped Mikemon with whatever final preparations needed to be taken care of, Genesis walked over to K, tapping her on the shoulder and smiling;
"Heya, fox. Big mission, huh?"
She kept her warm smile under her battered and scarred face. Truly happy to see K after not seeing her in sometime.
Viktor, on the other hand, seemingly ignored the two unknown members. As of right now, they were nothing more than a liability to him. A target for the bad guys to shoot at. Their usefulness remained in question, at least to Viktor. Like a great many things on this mission, there were plenty of unknowns.
And the unknown is what kills you.

Fortunately, this mission-goers seemed to be responsible enough in at least arriving on time.
The first one, of course, was the very subject of the mission at hand. Seeing K approach - the Renamon easily recognizable by the holy sigil surrounding her right, gloved arm - the Mikemon gave a nod. He flicked his gaze back to the Blimpmon ("Be ready to take off, soon."), before taking a few steps out to greet the first Renamon.
"Everything's about as ready as I could hope. Though, just a recommendation, I would keep the fact that the 'benefactor' of this mission is you, secret. Just in case." With that one recommendation given, he took a few steps away, waiting for the rest of the group to arrive.
It didn't take too long for the second group to arrive, a tamer and his dragon-type partner. Their own conversation was too far-off for the Mikemon to take notice, but as John approached and gave a timid introduction, as if keeping a secret, the Doctor gave a chuckle. "Appreciate the effort, but we're way out here so the Blimpmon's voice can't be picked up. We can talk openly so long as we're not in the Skies." Provided that none of these mission-goers were not liable to tip them off, anyway.
And the final group would arrive soon after: a second Digimon and tamer pair, though with a significantly older tamer, and with quite the familiar sight as a partner. The Mikemon gave a blink - he hadn't realized, until this moment, that this team had doubled-up on one species! Well, K was unique enough, and it wasn't as if another stealthy Digimon was going to go amiss. Still, Viktor picked him out as the mission leader easily enough, and so he nodded.
"Alright, we'll talk inside." He tilted his head, motioning for the others to get inside the Blimpmon. Once the last would step in, the cat would give the outer hull two taps, the hatch closing behind the group as the engine roared to life.
Inside, the Blimpmon's passenger compartment was quite standard. In this lower hull, the group would find a metal trail down the center, with seating on each side. One-sided windows allowed a view to the outside, straight into the thick foliage that surrounded them. Directing for the others to take a seat, the Mikemon stood at the right, atop a seat himself, holding onto a strap above for support.
"Alright, we have about twenty minutes before we touch down, so I'll go over this. First," the engines roared below, the Blimpmon pulling itself into the air. After a short pause, the cat continued: "First, I'd like to thank all of you for taking this mission up. Our target is within a prison island of Luminas, and trust me, they'll be just as harsh with people breaking in, as trying to get out. In the briefing, I mentioned an artifact. What we're seeking to steal, is the spirit totem of Lucemon."
He let that tone sit in the air for a moment, before pressing on: "The totem itself is held in a pyramid-like structure near the center of the facility's surface. My knowledge only extends as far as the details of the temple itself: the specific outlay of the prison is unknown. However, should you be caught, I cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide your rescue: prisoners are encased in crystal, nigh-impossible to escape from the inside. As for our window? We'll only have three hours to act. Regardless of who is or isn't at the exit point, we'll be leaving at that time."
At that, the feline reached under his seat, and pulled out a case, containing 10 or so cheap digital watches, all showing ""3:00:00" as their time. "These vibrate and don't beep, of course. You'll know when there's 1 hour, 30 minutes, and then 10 minutes left. Pass these around, please."
Aside from that, the Mikemon looked to the group: "Any questions?"

K dipped her head in a nod to what the Mikemon said; it only made sense to her. It would make the others skeptical of any decisions she'd make or perhaps it'd just add pressure to the whole thing?
"Sounds good to me. I hadn't intended to; but that just cements the idea doesn't it?"
She'd chuckle lightly and sigh; turning to look at the next arrival. Someone she didn't recognize; but that honestly wasn't much of a surprise. The worlds were a big place after all. She'd return the wave with a small bow; humans seemed to like that sort of thing right?
"If you're here for the mission, you've come to the right place."
She'd scratch her ear and give the pair a small shrug. What more could she say other than that? She imagined that introductions proper might come on the way there rather than while standing about.
The last to arrive to the mission starting point surprised her thoroughly. Her eyebrows shot up just a bit and she'd tilt her head slightly when they approached. She'd return the smile and dip her head in a nod at the inquiry.
"Pretty big I'd say, First time doing something like this but... There's no real middle point for this sort of thing."
She'd chuckle softly and rub the back of her neck. It was good seeing these two again, even if viktor was a hard ass about things. But that would be exceedingly useful when problems arose.
When they entered inside K quietly observed the internal structure of the Blimpmon. She had never been inside one before; but she had to admit quite plainly to herself that even if she had she'd still be very nervous.
What reaction would these four have to hearing the information that the Mikemon shared? She tilted her head a bit skeptically however and mused over this whole endevour.
The threat of being caught mixed with likely unable to rescue them would certainly cause some pause. Perhaps outright denial of wanting to do this mission. Having only three hours to do this mission on top of it all? Made it even more intense. She wasn't sure how to really approach half of this. The renamon of course accepted a watch when given one and would even pass the container if she was the first to take it.
"Seems pretty straightforward to me."

It seemed to John and Casimeir that some of the party members were already familiar with each other. It was a luxury that the pair did not have, but it was an excellent opportunity to make some new friends. The Renamon appeared to be kind enough, and once she bowed, John and casimeir returned the gesture out of respect. It wasn't normal for the human to do so when he grew up in America.
Once Viktor and Genesis made their entrance, John and Casimeir greeted them with a gentle wave and a smile. "Since introductions are underway, I'm John. And this is Casimeir." The Agumon offered the same gesture as his partner. "We're happy to help anyone in need. You can count on us."
Before long, everyone began to pile into the Blimpmon. "You know," stated John, "I always wanted to see what it was like inside of a blimp's cabin." He noted to himself that it was just like getting into a Trailmon. He and Casimeir took their seats once they were instructed to do so by the Mikemon.
And so the Mikemon gave his briefing. He mentioned what was expected of them, as well as what to expect and what possible threats lie ahead. Casimeir spoke up. "John and I knew what we were getting into when we signed up for this." The little dinosaur paused, lowering his gaze. "It's not exactly the right thing to do, to steal something, but...Someone's life is in danger, right?"
John stared at Casimeir with a soft gaze. He knew what he was going through right now. "Cas and I have never stolen anything in our lives. So this is a first for both of us. But it's for a good cause, and that's all the persuasion that we need."
The human's attention was brought back to the Mikemon when he mentioned the watches. Just as he said, a watch was underneath both his and Casimeir's seats. The human grasped both watches and offered to help Casimeir with putting his on. "In case we get separated," he murmured, thankful that the wristband was made out of an elastic material.

This whole mission smelt of familiarity. Between K and the briefing, Viktor felt at home in the cramped, almost uncomfortable compartments of the Blimpmon. He couldn't even count how many times he sat in a plane or a helicopter, listening to mission briefings before jumping out of said plane or helicopter.
The mission was definitely on the more stressful side of things, dangerous didn't even begin to describe it. Viktor was used to it, however. He'd been sent in worse places with far less time to do what they're doing now. The only factor that was different was, if anything, he was much more of a powerhouse.
The plan was simple. Get in, grab some artifact, get out within three hours. But the planning seemed a little amiss. Breaking into a prison was very delicate, doable, but required precise planning and had more moving pieces than an analogue watch. He'd inquire about it as he remained standing, grabbing a low hanging strap to brace for the moving Blimpmon. He gestured with his free hand as if he was going to speak, and proceeded without permission.
"Do we have a layout to the prison? What of Guard rotations? What's their response force and time, should we get caught? Are they preparing for a threat, or complacent? What are the levels of the guards within the prison?"
Viktor didn't recall seeing this information in the briefing, but he figured that was likely for operational security. You don't want everyone to know this information as it could interfere with your plans. The assassin released the strap and leaned against the wall, peering out the window to the foliage as he awaited an answer.
Genesis only rolled her eyes at Viktor's stubbornness. Her partner might have had experience with this sort of thing, but this was different. It was the digital world. What's more, they had achieved Super Mega. She didn't understand why they just didn't go in guns blazing. She'd speak to K as Viktor was speaking to Mikemon;
"Pops is always so concerned with details. And training... did I tell you yet? We've gotten to Super Mega. We can use that if we get into trouble." She sighed and leaned back, looking to K, "It's not like I was told, though. It's like a dream! Memories almost."
She'd adjusted herself in the chair and sighed yet again. A little irritated with her partner as he no doubt continued the questions. But, despite her slight irritation, she knew it was for the best he asked these questions. She didn't want to end up last time they were in the Skies.
While they were wanted, this worked to their advantage. The authorities assumed they'd be of little challenge and an easy target to apprehend. The Mercenaries they sent after them learned the hard way. Viktor ensured they were silenced.
What was more is that they achieved a form beyond what they had before being captured by the Skies. Push come to shove, they could fight their way out. Genesis looked to Mikemon after he'd finish answering Viktor:
"Viktor and I can go Super Mega... we just need an opening. If it gets too hairy."
Viktor quickly dismissed it; "Then we'll have the entirety of the Skies Security Forces on us. I don't know how much we can handle, despite Kajunemon's power. It will be only as a last reso-
Genesis stood up, "Resort! You always say that. When will you just let loose? We could take them. Take the Skies! We could level the place!"
Viktor wheeled around, his face unbroken and not even the slightest trace of anger apparent: "If we 'Let loose' we'll be back where we were when we left the Skies. We need to take it slow and steady. We'll get our chance to use the fox in action."
Genesis sighed, sitting down and aggressively crossing her arms as she took one of the digital watches, "You mean you will."
After the watches were passed around, Viktor took his and clipped it to his wrist. Reading he digital face that was exactly 3:00:00. The familiar scent made him want to be complacent. That he could do this like he'd done a thousand times. But complacency was a one way ticket back into his enteral stone prison.
He'd do his best to ensure that never happened again.

Well, look at that - one of the random mercenaries hired for this job seemed to have a good head on his shoulders about the mission. Though John and Casimeir spoke about how this was an interesting task for them, Viktor showered the feline with relevant questions, some of which the Mikemon would be able to answer: "The layout of the facilities in particular are beyond me; however, the structure of the prison as a whole is straight-forward. Large walls border the sides, with twelve towers - two on each of the prison's walls - made, to cover the outside. Directly inside each wall is a block, five of them being detention centers and one being an administrative block. Beyond those blocks is a more intricate design, paths leading to detainment centers for individual prisoners, one of which is the aforementioned temple."
"At the direct center," the Mikemon continued, "Is a tower, that marks the island's proper entrance and exit. There is a further facility built into the island itself, as delivery ships and the like dock in from underneath. Our window of entry and exit is under a guard rotation at this point." As for the rest of Viktor's questions? "The guards themselves should be champions and ultimates in both the mechanical and holy lines, at least for standard patrol. They are largely complacent unless an alert is raised, at which point we will have to play it largely by ear."
Was that enough? The mulled it over in his head once more, before turning to John. "Your sentiment is fine; however, please be aware of yourselves. And, Genesis?" He turned his gaze to the unfamiliar Renamon. "Your tamer has it right - excess power will draw attention. I can say with confidence that even if you were all Super Mega, the prison would be more than able to meet that challenge."
That said, at least there were some with an idea of what was going on. Soon enough, as they would reach altitude, a groan could be heard throughout the cabin. The harsh metal exterior of the Blimpmon faded, the walls turning from opaque to translucent.
Their destination - an island, floating in the sky, with several others floating in the background - soon came into view. They approached from underneath, the faint movements of soil and rock occasionally sending dust spiraling out into the winds. From below, it might look like any other island!
Any other island, save for one thing, that the invisible ship made its way for: a loading dock. There was a large landing, vacant but able to take four or five Blimpmon's worth of shipments at once. So far away from the prison blocks, this entrance was by far the least guarded, only having one on-post at most times - and in this interval, that would be zero! This gave the Blimpmon enough time to pull up, and even inside, the dock area: with an open door and a faintly tinted ramp, the feline stepped out, and pressed a button on his watch. The others, synchronized, would briefly vibrate and start counting down. And as soon as he touched ground, he was off running - there were no boxes or crates, but the landing rig of the next dock over provided cover from the main entrance inside the island.
"Understandably, the inside of this island's the most immense part about it... anything leading directly to the prison blocks is going to be guarded." The feline sighed: "But there should be no point inside that's not within two or three minutes from some sort of exit. Whether its a vent or a door, we want to appear somewhere inside the courtyard..."
Log: Current time left: 2:59:30. Setting: Loading dock. Large, garage-like doors are closed, the purpose likely to take in supply shipments or prisoners. A normal set of doors, likely an administrative entrance, is closed. Straight above the current location is the western-most block of the island.

Now the duo that she didn't know the names of were introduced properly she wouldn't have to worry about struggling with their names later.
"Good to have the both of you."
With two tamer pairs and two single digimon going in on this their exposure to the prison guards would hopefully be reduced to a minimum. If anything it'd give them a little bit of an advantage and they could play this a tad more careful than with a larger group or with one of those.. Xros generals she had heard about.
"There's always a first. But I suppose that's how it gets easier later. And I suppose you would be correct on that part yes."
She'd turn her attention to Viktor as he asked a slough of questions all pertaining to the mission at hand. A layout of the prison would be useful as well as guard rotations, but the latter would be harder to get wouldn't it? The response force and time on the other hand... Well. She'd have to imagine that it would be remarkably quick as well as powerful but she didn't want to assume.
"They shouldn't know that we're coming Viktor. If they do.. well. This is going to be the shortest mission ever and quite a long stay."
She'd grumble a little bit and set her jaw; she didn't like the idea of being stuck in such a locale for an un-designated amount of time. There wasn't one person she could think off the top of her head that would come into a prison of this caliber to rescue her.
At Genisis' mention of attaining super mega K blinked owlishly and looked down at her hands. That power was in their grasp huh? And if all things went well here.. The same could be said of her later. She'd chuckle softly at the mention of using the super mega.
"If you have to use the super mega form, it's if all things have gone to the Ninth level of hell."
She'd gently pat genisis' arm and turn to look at the mikemon. There was quite a bit of information that she didn't know and all of it she had to sit there and absorb the information for later. The layout was important, the rotations were important. The lines were important. Mechanical lines often were slower and more powerful. Holy lines usually were good on fighting on both air and ground.. as well as usually being a little faster if memory served.
She didn't want to think about the sorts of patrols that were unusual. The deeper they went in the more likely it'd be that they'd run into one of the strange batches of patrols. She'd frown slightly and rub her muzzle nervously.
"Quite a lot of this is going to be played by ear though, might have to take actions or routes we wouldn't normally consider yeah?"
She'd look over the watch for a few moments before clicking it into place on her upper arm. No real point in keeping it where it'd distract her. The vibrations would do well to inform her of the times and that was it.
A little bit of time passed and they would of made it to the landing point. She'd grunt softly and follow the feline to the ramp. She'd cautiously look around and watch the feline go to the landing rig of the next dock over. There wasn't much in the way of cover and she'd tut softly at the idea of being seen. But without much more than that she'd hop down and run after the feline. If no one saw her, she'd slide into cover and peer around the corner of the landing rig.
"So then lets use the points that don't lead directly to the prison to find the least guarded locale and entry point. If we're lucky, maybe we'll find a vent or something in one of them that leads down to the prison proper."
Her voice was hushed so it wouldn't carry very far, she'd make sure to wave on the next pair if they hadn't set off from the ramp yet. Better to stagger out groups if they hadn't been seen yet.
"We should go for the garage doors over there. It doesn't look like there's a shipment inbound anytime soon so we could feasibly use that without being caught."

And so the mission was already underway before John and Casimeir even realized. In comparison, everyone in the party seemed to be familiar with this kind of work and much more experienced in this kind of field. It was experience that John and his Digimon partner lacked. Regardless, the pair knew in their hearts that they could rely on their teammates if things went south and there was no better way to gain experience then to partake in the matter at hand. John and Casimeir would, at the very least, do their best on this mission to complete it as well as protect those who they called teammates.
The pair decided it would be best to remain silent and observe the situations as they unfolded for the time being seeing how this was all new to them. They gave an occasional nod of the head to acknowledge that they were listening to the plan or when directly addressed.
As far as John and his Agumon partner could gather, K and Genesis seemed to be the cool headed ones of the group. His curiosity was piqued when Viktor mentioned Super Mega. It was the first he or his partner ever heard of it, only having reached Ultimate themselves. But then the thought crossed the human's mind in regards to having to resort to such Force. The whole point; no, the goal was to move in and out as quickly and stealthily as possible.
"I have to agree with the others on this one," John stated flatly, yet calmly. "If this artifact is as important as we are told, surely there has to be a lot more protection for it then the guards are letting on. An unseen force if you will. There might even be traps waiting for us. When it comes to being sneaky and theft, this is my first day at the rodeo but surely it can't be that easy. I say for now we play it by ear and be as stealthy as possible without raising too many alarms or concerns." He sighed. Here John was, the noob to the mission and giving insight as if he knew what exactly he was talking about.
Now the moment was upon them. John and Casimeir moved with the group silently and quickly keeping low and following their leads seeing how they were the ones leading the operation. John's and Casimeir's eyes fell to the garage door that K spoke of. Once more, they nodded in agreement. "Great idea," the Agumon replied in an equally hushed voice. "John and I will follow your lead."

As K attempted to reassure Viktor that no-one knew they were coming, he would lean back on his foot. Folding his arms and humming to himself. How did she know that exactly? It's not like Guard's alertness was common knowledge. Neither was it a sound guess... No, she had insight. Viktor said nothing and only took a mental note as he stowed the 'needless' gear for the mission. He set aside a fine bit of rope, a knife for cutting said rope, and a small bag with a red cross on it. In case his other human ally decided to take a nasty spill or lose a limb.
Viktor attached the rope around his chest, and the knife on his right thigh for ease of access. Now... he simply played the waiting game. Viktor sat in the exposed areas of the blimpmon, smoking a cigar as they approached a sort of docking bay. He'd hoped there wasn't any sort of radar or detection... or this was about to a real short trip. To his pleasant surprise, they landed without incident. Aside from the noisy chatter, which could be their undoing. He simply pressed a single finger against his lips and waited for John to step off the platform.
His movement was like that of a ghost, and his partner, even more so. The two moved in a dance of shadows that was lent to the cover and what little shadows they could meander into. Viktor a man his size, he easily cleared any obstacle with Genesis in tow. The two were pretty much pressed right on Mikemon, due to the lack of cover itself. He peaked around the corner, not seeing any immediate guards. He didn't ease up, though. He broke from the cover and pressed along the wall, looking behind spaces and searching for some sort of vent or maintenance access. If wasn't a inmate area, it likely had such things that existed.
"Genesis. Split up. Find me an access panel or a vent inlet. Either works."
She started her run, but was stopped by Viktor; "Quietly."
"Hey," she brought both her hands up in a shrug of sorts, "It's me."
Viktor rolled his eyes, "That's the part I'm worried about." he said to himself.
Genesis found a vent inlet rather quickly, climbing in and sort of 'probing' for an easy way in and out of the courtyard. Luckily, this one was just what Viktor wanted. But... she noticed patrols coming and going. She watched to see if there was some sort of predictive pattern. Taking notes of this and timed a guard to see how long it took for each pass. Basic things Viktor taught her when she was still young.
She'd return her tamer and give him her notes. Then she'd split back up and keep herself at a distance. Spacing was important here... no doubt some sort of defensive system would be in place should a prisoner escape. But to her... it looked like they were growing comfortable behind these walls. She looked to Viktor, who nodded back.
Viktor's plan was simple. If things didn't go quite right, Genesis would be 'spotted' at the entrance of the courtyard and divert attention there. Then, would regroup and they'd go Super Mega at the last moments of exiting. Hopefully the Blimpmon could carry a thirty-foot tall Bipedal fox. Viktor hoped he wouldn't have to find out.

If there was any advantage this group was going to have, it would be the surprising lack of technology available to this prison. Security measures that would have been normal to the human world, such as security cameras and motion sensors, were nowhere to be seen, nor did Mikemon consider them a potential threat.
That said, it wasn't as if this raid wouldn't have its own unique challenges. K more-or-less parroted what the Mikemon had already said, adding a suggestion that they move to the garage, and John followed right along with K's idea. It was good that the group was agreeable, but playing follow-the-leader as a huge group wasn't going to do much good! Keeping his own voice low, Mikemon started: "Fine, but-"
Fortunately, Viktor and Genesis were already on the move. As they had not currently been sighted on the outside, Mikemon motioned the group to follow - not to Viktor's position, but on the far wall on the other side of the garage door. A careful hand gripped at the outside, but, obviously, the door was locked -
"Alright then..." Time for his own trick! Reaching behind himself, Mikemon's paw seemed to vanish briefly from sight, until he pulled it back, drawing a small, ruby crystal ball. His eyes strained with focus, as he peered through the gem, intently staring at the door for several moments. "Small step back, guys."
Moving the ball to his left paw, the feline punched his other claw against the side, and peeled the side of the garage open. Purposefully, he left Viktor and Genesis to their own devices: helping Genesis with the vents would have been a case of 'too many cooks', and staying on the dock with Viktor would have made it much harder to hide with a group. Giving a nod to Viktor, he directed the group inside the garage...
Mikemon's Group
Fortunately, Mikemon's scan proved fruitful. Despite the forceful method of entry, there weren't any guards stationed to protect the loading dock, and several empty loading crates to hide behind for cover. A few loose boxes were used to cover up the damage from the outside, before the feline made his own, careful dash towards the back wall of the garage. There were a few points to exit: an unlocked door that led into an administrative hall, and a service elevator, revealing that this level was on 'B5' and the elevator itself was resting on 'B1'. Checking the administrative entrance with the gem, Mikemon silently drew a nail across his neck, shaking his head: 'something' was down that way, and the cat didn't want to risk it.
If the group would gather close enough, he'd whisper: "We can't take the elevator itself, but if that's not going to move, we can get as high as the second-floor basement, by climbing the cables up." He sighed: "I don't think we need to mess in the middle levels that much, but it might be our only way forward."
Viktor's Group
From the dock itself, it wouldn't be hard for Genesis to find a vent inlet - unfortunately, that didn't change the fact that the vents were still in the fifth-level basement, in the bottom dregs of the island. Down in the dregs, though, Genesis would find grates leading to a few interesting rooms, mostly for maintenance of the building. Past a few empty hallways, the first she'd see is a room with a running water heater, and the next, something that looked like an electrical breaker - hidden nice and far away from the prisoners, but oh-so-easy to locate from the outside.
The guards themselves kept a typical, if tight pattern, but more to the point, ways forward seemed to only be highlighted by lights above stairways pointing up. Unless Genesis could manage to shimmy up four levels in a steel vent, it would be difficult to find access to the courtyard from here.
Log: Current time left: 2:54:38 Setting: Garage. Wooden crates and inoperable cranes populate the room, as do several smaller supply boxes. At the back-left is a door leading to a hallway, for which Mikemon has noted a guard has posted. An elevator is available, listing 'B5' through 'F2', and 'B1' is currently lit up.

K flicked her ears a bit; So john and his digital partner hadn't done something like this before. It wasn't a surprise; but he would of done some form of mission previous else he wouldn't be here. So that mindset would still be useful; they'd be more open to things and likely a little easier to work with initially. Though when things hit the fan could she rely on them?
She couldn't really say for sure but she wouldn't doubt them up until they balked. Viktor and Genisis on the other hand? Had their own ideas and plans in mind it seemed. But She didn't really argue with the idea of them going off on their own or doing something other than what the 'larger' group was doing. Too many of them in one place would be harder to hide.
She'd watch them go for a moment and find her eyes flicking down to the paw that motioned for them to move forward from the Mikemon. She'd follow after them most certainly keeping an eye out for any paroling members of the prison that might come this way. How long were the rotations? She had to wonder.
When they reached the Garage she took position a few feet behind Mikemon proper; not wanting to be too close to him if he needed to do something. Which certainly paid off as he seemed to want room to pull out his familiar crystal ball and use it for.. Something.
A few odd moments passed and K found herself scanning the area again. Once Mikemon peeled the garage door back K winced but nodded when they motioned for the others to come in. Hopefully no one would notice the damage all too quickly.
K would glance around, a frown easing onto her lips as she made sure to take cover behind one of the empty loading crates. Her black and blue eyes scanning the location still as the Mikemon made his way over to what seemed to lead into the administrative hall. They wouldn't be able to take that way but perhaps the Mikemon had an idea? When he drew a nail across his neck her frown would deepen and she'd come out behind cover. Easing her way over to them.
With a hushed tone she'd respond to what the other had to say.
"Lets take the elevator by climbing the cables. If we're lucky the ventilation might connect somewhere that we can access. If not, we'll have to force open the 'second' level door."
She'd glance at the elevator proper noting where the light was lit up along with the other locations. Hopefully when they were climbing someone didn't decide to use the damn thing. If they went with this at all.
"and I have a way to open it up hopefully without damaging the door too much.."
The Renamon glanced around move behind some of the crates, shifting from her renamon form to that of her Leomon-x. While the light was somewhat bright, it was quick and somewhat hidden by the crates proper. She'd trot over the elevator and mumble her attack rather lamely.
"Eternity blade..."
The her sword in question shrunk down to what you'd expect a short sword to be for someone of her size. Though for someone of a human size it'd be closer to a bastard sword. She'd work on shimmining the blade between the two doors of the elevator and move to pry it open.. Slowly but steadily.

So far, so good. The group by this time had split up into three sections, each with their own goals set in mind. Wanting to stick to an experienced member, John and Casimeir stuck with K the Renamon. John internally hated that he was the greenest member here. But in fairness, as long as finesse and stealth could be used, the human figured things will more-than-likely go their way.
John and Casimeir listened while his team offered suggestions and tactics. Nothing that he could really contribute to, sadly. John decided that after this mission, he would delve into the world of developing strategies to become better-suited for scenarios like this one. All they could do now is wait and watch while K attempted to pry open the doors. There was no sense in helping since John was only a human, and Digivolving Casimeir might draw unwanted attention.
The pair looked on in awe as the Renamon Digivolved into her Champion form. As a Renamon, K was only a bit taller than he was. The partnered human glanced back toward Mikemon. "Is there anything that Cas and I can do to help out? The last thing we want is to be dead weight."
