Casimeir's eyes flashed in anticipation of the main Andromon's attack. With enough distance between the two, the MetalGreymon had time to react. Casimeir moved his trident arm in order to counter the main enemy's blow. Bright sparks flew when the Andromon's fist met the larger Digimon's own metal appendage's sharp claws. The heavy block sent shockwaves across the battlefield and his knees almost buckled from the mighty blow. It was that instance which confirmed Casimeir should not get cocky despite the size difference.
While Andromon was a bit smaller than him, the MetalGreymon's cybernetic limb struggled due to the android's strength. Creaking metal was audible, whether it was from him or the Andromon, he couldn't tell. It was like how he learned about some insects in the human world that were much stronger compared to their stature. But, the enemy was right where Caismeir needed him to be. With the Andromon against his claws, the Ultimate prepared a counter-attack.
"Not a very smart idea. Here's a real fire attack! Powerful Flame!" A torrid stream of fire erupted from Casimeir's trident arm with the intent to engulf the Andromon's body. Loud hissing and crackling emenated from the newborn fire stream. Even the cybernetic Ultimate was somewhat bothered by the heat coming off of his own attack. With the range as close as it was, the attack would surely meet its target. "I don't want to hurt you! But you play with fire, and you're bound to get burned!"
John, of course, stayed back with whatever noncombatants remained while the Digimon took care of business. But even standing so far back, he could feel the heatwave washing over him. If he didn't know better, he would believe his eyebrows were singed off. It reminded him of that shark ride at one of the tourist parks in Florida. "Way to go, guys! Keep it up!" John was pumping his fist into the air excitedly as he cheered on his teammates. He could see what Casimeir was trying to do with his fire-based attack. Logic stated that a Digimon surrounded by metal like that would surely feel the effects of being overheated or cooked inside of its own armor. K appeared to have the same idea with her electric-type attack. "They may be metal, but they still have flesh! That's their weakness!"
The battle was heating up, literally. But despite the excitement, something was nagging at the back of John's mind; he could feel that Casimeir was going through the same thing. This wasn't a normal battle in the Digital World. The group had broken into a highly secure facility. It was for a good cause, but they had to resort to hurting others to protect themselves from Digimon who were only doing their jobs. The human didn't like it, but he promised to help on this mission. A mission that was going to benefit someone in dire need. If things got really tough, and all other options were exhausted, John only hoped that the group would be as merciful as he and Casimeir were.
-Battle Log-

Everything moved so slow to the pair. As they met in a hug of sorts, the arrows seemed to freeze in place as they were consumed in a white light. Their bodies joining and shifting behind the mask of the waning smoke. The arrows continued their unchanging path, finding their marks toward the pair. But instead of simply striking a target, the barrage of arrows would be sent in all directions, defected by something. The figure behind the smoke stood upright, standing abreast to the Waspmon. The inevitable following torrents of celestial arrows would be met with a mix of side stepping and blocking with the assistance of a black and red blade. As it continued it's defensive measures, it would lean forward, as if to brace. Then, as the smoke and dirt would rush behind him, the figure would rush forward at a moderately quick speed straight for the Waspmon. Not impossibly fast, but still threateningly hastened. This was meant more to deter the sentry Digimon, rather than outright kill it. With that, it's form become apparent. He'd move closer to the prison doors, out of sight of the arrows. "You doing your job is not grounds for me to take your life. But I will do what I must to defend myself, Waspmon."His voice was sharp with a ting of rasp cusping in the ends of his sentences. A voice most didn't get to hear as he'd slay them where they stood. But these weren't the usual demons or mercenaries he fought. These were simple Digimon who were doing a job. His human mind might have killed them without hesitation, but his Digimon subconscious refused to kill unjustly. If it came to killing, he'd simply let the data fly. At least then, they'd have a second chance. "Do not test me." the fox warned, sheathing his sword and taking one foot back and closing his eyes. No doubt more guards would come. However, due to the Viktor's digivice, some would have a hard time sensing a Super Mega. To them, he'd come off as more of an Ultimate or Mega. But to those that knew their Digimon. They'd recognize Kajunemon as the Ronin, at least, the form was similar. [Activate Clairvoyance: Kajunemon sheaths his sword and awaits any attacks. Any attacks made are deflected. Ranged attacks are knocked aside, melee attacks are met with a lightning fast swipe of the sword.]

Heat was a good guess, but as Casimeir might have picked up from trying to meet the Andromon's reinforced fist with the metal claw, the technique was far different than a simple elemental blast. For one, not only did the Andromon meet the Metalgreymon's strength, it would have been enough to throw the inferior metal of the dragon's arm straight backwards, a heavy dent forming at the point of impact.
A heavy blow, but definitely not one strong enough to take down the ultimate in one hit - and Casimeir's counter would hit right home! With its lanky footing, it wasn't as if Andromon were normally one of the most agile of Digimon. Instead of moving to dodge, the sentinel Digimon instead raised its arms, covering its face and neck, as well as kneeling to cover its bad ankle from the worst of the flames. That wasn't to say the attack wasn't damaging for the machine Digimon...
... But what it also provided, was cover. Underneath that veil of fire, Casimeir might hear a metal click - or he might not, the sound lost in the flames - as the Andromon countered: from its chest, roared out an assault of machine gun fire, aimed to tear right through the flames and assault the dragon's torso! The Andromon gave no verbal cue for its moves, and didn't even respond to that call, making it hard to pinpoint the origin or timing of that assault!
As for K, well, maybe she wouldn't feel the electrical aftereffects! Lightning clashed against lightning, a fierce array of sparking static echoing off of those enhanced blades, the effects cancelling out the flow of the opposite weapon. That said, he wasn't just going to stop at that: seeing the other blade pulled back, the Andromon made an effort to step in, trying to pin his free shoulder against the Shutmon's chest. If he could get inside, past the 'useful' range of those swords, he'd try and force the Shutmon off of her feet!
Well, Viktor's threat was successful at doing one thing: the 'rabble' weren't trying to bother with him anymore.
Indeed, the sudden presence of a Super Mega, threatening not only the Waspmon but the guards as a whole, made most of the lesser guards take pause. It wasn't as if they were just going to take this lying down, however:
Just because the Angewomon and the Waspmon weren't firing, didn't mean that Viktor's troubles were over. Just as he would take his silent stance, a powerful figure would appear in the sky, before Viktor's closed eyes:
Seraphimon. He appeared without warning, its helmeted guise staring straight down at the capable Ronin... and the ensuing attack came without a second thought. The angel's palm facing forward, the clouds above parted, a fierce light pouring out from one point:
"Holy Smite!"
From that point, a ray of holy light would flow downward, enough to encompass the Ronin and the ten meters that surrounded him: should it hit, that burning holy energy would not only sear away at him, but also start to weigh the Kajunemon down, until he was left struggling on the floor...

So her attack had simply canceled out the lightning that the Andromon used? That wasn't too much of a surprise considering there was a large chance that it was around the same strength or just same current overall.
Though the reaction following suit of their clash was less than desirable. It stepped closer to her, making her blades somewhat of a moot point for the moment. Though when it attempted to drive into her and force her off her feet she wasn't given much of a chance to do anything about that.
Rather than land heavily on the ground however she simply kicked off of the air before landing and spread out the distance between the two of them again. The shutmon then reached to her back and pulled out the large scissors with a nasty grin spreading onto her face.
If the Andromon tried to charge her or do something foolish she had a range of options she could do at this point. And she was pretty much ready to do just about all of them...
Sorry it's short but I was struggling with the reply and just ran with it.
InScissor: Using it's scissors this digimon may attempt to cut into a target. It is strong enough to cut through most metals and can be highly damaging if allowed to do so on a target. This requires Shutmon to actually pull out the scissors however and attack with them rather than the blades on it's arms. This move does not have a cool down but does require a transition between the two.
InScissor: Has been drawn!

At first, Casimeir thought that he had this Andromon subdued with his Powerful Flame attack. It certainly looked that way, at least, when his foe was forced to protect itself by taking a defensive stance. But the MetalGreymon knew that this foe would not be beaten so quickly. Casimeir could only barely pick up on the clicking sound, mostly drowned out by his attack, but it would be too late.
And so the Andromon reacted to the assault with machinegun fire from its chest compartment. The fire was subsiding now as the bullets whizzed through the flames. Casimeir groaned in pain the instant that felt stinging pinpoints of pain in his torso. He knew he needed to react with some retaliation of his own. With the Andromon in its current stature, there might just be a chance to finish this fight quicker than he hoped.
Casimeir was now a bullet sponge, but it was a sacrifice he was required to make. The armor on his chest indeed assisted with reducing the damage done. A red light on Casimeir's metal shoulder tracked the Andromon that stood before him. In an instant, two hatches on his bionic chest opened to reveal silos.
"Tera Destroyer!" Three black organic missiles proceeded to launch from their containment and barrel down on their single target. The instant that Casimeir fired off the projectiles, he used his vast wings to hop backward to gain some distance as to get himself out of the blast radius of what destruction his attack would wreak.

It was just as Kajunemon presumed. They provided no quarter, no chance to even speak. They simply attacked. What was more is that as he closed his eyes to prepare the 'catch all' counter attack, a Seraphimon lower down and hung over like an angel watching over a battlefield. That's when he called his attack, Holy Smite. A warmth filled the area around Kajunemon, which was pleasant at first, but quickly grew to uncomfortable levels. Right away, Kajunemon realized this was not normal heat... this was holy energy. But, uncomfortable is all he'd feel through that attack.
As the light came down with great vigor and even brighter effects, Kajunemon's eyes shot open and he drew his sword as fast as the light came down. Most likely to surprise of all, the light was deflected back at towers around him. The intent to use the ability on the many Angewomon that inhabited the watch stations to prevent them from shooting arrows during the course of this fight.
Kajunemon breathed out, obviously out of breath from the simple deflect as he looked up at his newly arrived foe. He was not an ordinary Mega... no, that attack was much too intense for the likes of something holding that level. It was clear... this was a Super Mega.
Kajunemon spun his sword slightly as he brought it back and slashed forward, sending a wave of fire at the Seraphimon. Another, more powerful wave of fire would be sent in his direction, whether he dodged or shielded. Then, Kajunemon would sheath his sword and draw it again, unleashing a powerful slash that, if missed, would easily level whatever structure lie behind his advisory. If hit, it would very easily break armor that wasn't protected.
Soon after, Kajunemon would close the distance between the two, dragging his sword on the ground as it sparked behind him then launch into the air, aiming to start a clash with the Super Mega that, to the lower levels and humans, would look like a blur of silver, black, and red. Kajunemon would meet every swing with his own, both blades sparking at each strike and parry. It was tough to line up an attack in this moment, for the both of them. The Ronin was relentless as well. Any attempt to create distance would be met with a fox who would be hot on the heels of the Serphimon, a sword aiming to cut his foe clean in two.
The Super Mega could dodge, but would find that wasting more energy than simply engaging in a clash with the fox, who, despite his earlier appearance of fatigue, was now attacking with vigor and veracity in his blows.

At a glance, it seemed like the Andromon had the advantage against K - with the shoulder landing heavily against the Shutmon's chest, all the machine would have to do is follow up and gun down its now-prone opponent...
... Except, the beast Digimon managed to stay on her feet, and add an additional back-step to try and build distance between herself and the metallic foe! Drawing her unique blade, the Andromon took pause, the electrical aura fading from his own gauntlet. Right, trying to approach K didn't seem like an intelligent decision, but one had to think: what use was that blade at a distance? Without a further thought, the Andrmon's chest compartment hissed open, two red missiles roaring towards K's position! Should either hit, the explosion would likely send K for a loop!
As for the guardian at Casimeir's position, well, it wasn't as if the Andromon would be without damage! Overheated over several seconds of fire, the MetalGreymon would find the android glowing red, unable to move its damaged legs. There was little the Andromon could do except look forward and... oh. Paydirt. Seeing the chest compartment open, the Andromon's eyes gave a glow as Casimeir declared its attack. Unable to move, and likely to be vanquished anyway, the Andromon instead let forth its guns once more - intending to catch the missiles in mid-air, and blow them up closer to the MetalGreymon than himself!
Why would there need to be a chance to speak? Kajunemon was an intruder in a holy prison, and as far as the guards and the Seraphimon were concerned, the only purpose the Ronin had at this point was to be either eliminated, or captured and held in suspension like the rest of the vermin here. There would be no quarter, no hesitation, as that massive blast of holy energy rained itself down upon the warrior...
... Only to have that attack thrust right back at him? The Seraphimon was indeed caught off guard, but suspended in midair, all the Seraphimon had to do - and did - was float a few feet off to the side, that torrent of blazing holy energy careening over his shoulder. Of course, Kajunemon's counter was sure to follow - and unable to determine the strengths of its opponents quite yet, the angel was set to observe! Clapping its hands together, a barrier erected itself, arced in front of the Seraphimon. The curved structure easily parted the fire sent its way in twain, and the barrier only snapped with the powerful slash that followed up.
Right, he had seen enough: as the Ronin made his charge, the Seraphimon prepared his counter: at once, a ball of light appeared in front of himself, as well as above, below, to the upper left, the upper right, the lower left, and the lower right. The outer circle started to spin, the very energy making it seem unwise to simply wildly slash through: each burned with holy energy, enough to stop this swordsman in its tracks.
"Strike! Of the seven stars!"
Worse yet, if Kajunemon held back, the blast would be sent forth in his direction!

Gotcha.
Considering the build of the andromons, you would expect them to have some sort of in house attack mechnism of some kind. You could theorize that there was dozens of ways that they could attack and twice as many ways to defend. Ultimately their responses were just right; just what you would expect from a machine based digimon. One that sat there thinking briefly, using logic to dictate what to do in a fight.
Sometimes you just had to improvise. Sure her blade was no use from afar... But the thing with having a physical weapon seperate from your body? Is that you can do so much more with it. Clamping the scissors shut and then whirling it before throwing the weapon like a spear between the two red missiles that streaked towards her.
Her target was the andromon's chest, now without any actual armor standing between her weapon and the insides of the mechanical digimon.
Unfortunately her tactic required her to get a little more intimate with the missiles than she liked. She'd attempt to kick one missile to the side away from her and the group as a whole. While getting hit by the other one. The ultimate of course had to cope with the fact that she was flung back by the force of the explosion once more, with a snort she'd flip in the air once again but remain there this time....
She had another idea but it was likely the large digimon that she called her ally wouldn't really enjoy it. There was a momentary pause and somethign else clicked...
Then the shutmon grinned.
InScissor has been thrown!

Casimeir almost smirked out of confidence when his foe reacted in the way that he did. He expected a scenario like this to happen before he fired off his previous attack, which played a part in his decision to use the Tera Destroyer. At a glance, there was little difference between the Giga Blast and the Tera Destroyer missiles save that the latter were a bit larger in size. But they were also an upgraded attack; one that wouldn't be so easily shredded apart by bullets. However. The opposing Ultimate's counter-attack garnered some success and caused the missiles to detonate prematurely.
While not hitting their mark, the triad of missiles created a brilliant explosion close enough to still deal some damage from the blast radius alone. At the very least, the cybernetic dinosaur was engulfed in the blast of the attack which caused some severe burns and shrapnel wounds.
"AAUGH!" John curled his hands into tight fists when his partner's outcry reached his ears. Casimeir was certainly weakened at this point. The initial shockwave itself could rock the foundation, immediately followed by a blinding blast of fire and a tremendous firey roar in its aftermath. The only thing missing was a mushroom cloud. If these missiles had nuclear capabilities, everyone in the immediate area would be doomed.
Casimeir watched silently. If the Andromon were disabled, then he would leave it at that. The last thing he wanted to do was to kill the poor android outright. But this was a mission. One that he and John agreed to the terms of. If killing the guards was a part of the job, it would be a necessary evil. At the very least, John and Casimeir could have the consolation of mind knowing that these Digimon would go back to the Village of Beginnings.
Now it was time for the MetalGreymon to assist his teammate. He turned about to witness their battle and saw what his comrade was planning to do. The Andromon may try to leap out of the way of K's incoming blade, and Casimeir had a few options to prevent the attack from missing. Both of which involved distracting the enemy. Option one, use the metal tether in his arm to restrain the remaining Andromon and have his cable cut by K's blade. Option two...
The chest clamps opened once again to launch two organic missiles, both tracking the Andromon. If he played this right, this Andromon would react in the same way that the previous one did TA the very least, he would hope that the android foe would attempt to dodge this attack and instead be hit by K's. "Giga Blaster!"
-Battle Log-
Actions: -Casimeir uses the ability Giga Blaster on the Andromon facing K.

More light. More bravado. His initial swipes of fire were meant to probe the opposing super mega, to see where his powers lie. As it seemed The Seraphimon were too probing him. Almost instantly, the angel returned the fire with his own holy counter attack.
Kajunemon knew those attacks were very much lethal, at least to his body. Though his Cursed blade might be able to absorb the attack, but not the force itself. He wasn't willing to risk it. Not with so much at stake. That confirmed it, the Super Mega was reading him and his attacks... about as much as he was gauging it. The gauge answering that as a warrior, he was very much certain he outclassed this angel. But there were two factors gave this Guard an edge;
One, was the home field advantage. Kajunemon likely couldn't hide anywhere or ambush... this was his site and he likely knew it well. On that front, his best bet was to keep him in the open to minimize that advantage.
The second was his type, Kajunemon was a Vaccine by nature and Seraphimon was data, so his attacks would be much more heavy hitting than the fox's, while his will do much less. Nature's rules still applied he'd imagine, so fire was his best bet. Perhaps the angel didn't fully understand how he wielded his powers as a Super Mega. Of course finding out meant getting in close with someone who was a superior type... which could mean a very quick fight that would result in the fox sharing the fate of everyone else who broke in. Or... perhaps he'd overcome the Angel with equal amount of footing.
He'd sigh and rotate his blade, watching his foe with keen interest, almost aware of his every move. The momentum had to be driven forward. Being pushed back was not an option, not here. But, that attack seemed to be some sort of shield, or protectant. Closing the gap might work, but he was certain those balls meant severe injury on impact.
He spit as he slammed his sword into the ground, almost instantly a sigil appeared around the point of impact and just as quickly a large bubble exploded from the markings. The angular field would easily stop any attacks as Kajunemon sat down, closing his eyes to meditate. Certainly the Angel could enter the field, but his attack would either bounce of or be absorbed by the defensive measure.
"Angels... always relying on some super move to save them. Subpar, fighters, really."
The taunting was meant to bring the Super Mega down and enter into the field. He could launch an attack onto it, but he'd soon realize it was ineffective. His only means currently was to meet the Ronin in his turf, with blades and fists. His virus attributed blade would make short work of his armor...
But that was all assuming the Angel took the bait. He could simply stand above and wait, which would only result in him burning through his Super Mega energy. A problem that didn't plague Kajunemon as it did most others of his level. If he did wait, he would find the field lasted a tad longer than most would have patience for. If Kajunemon knew one thing about those who stood in the Holy line of Digimon; it was that they were impatient.
He could be different though. He didn't figure humility to be in his nature. In that case, Angel's were worse than Demons.

The Shutmon, in her own way, found quite the creative answer to the Andromon's assault - two briefly opened hatches allowed for two vulnerable points for her InScissor to strike! It would put her at risk for the missiles itself, but as the android had braced himself in place to fire the missiles, there was little he could do to defend! Both blades easily sunk in, a fierce spark escaping both his punctured chest and the side of his neck...
... But then again, K's own form wouldn't be looking that pretty. Struck fiercely by the Gatling Missile, a fiery explosion briefly engulfed her body before she was thrown back, fur embedded with the sharp shrapnel of the blast. It would have been very easy for the robot to counter, to try and pick her off. Fortunately, the Andromon opposite her fell to its knees, light sparking and fading away from its eyes...
Well, no, the bullets never intended to stop the momentum of the missiles - the intent was to detonate them early in the first place! Even if the explosives had increased armor, the continuous assault of the Andromon's guns, ultimate-to-ultimate, were more than enough to heavily damage the casing and detonate them, around halfway between the MetalGreymon and the Andromon! Without a doubt, Casimeir would likely be caught up in his own fiery explosion!
Of course, for the already overheated Andromon, even such an explosion at a distance was more than enough to rattle the machine to its core. A fine hiss of air escaped its frame, as bolts and shrapnel from its armor would hit the ground, the ultimate skidding several yards back into those flames. This machine, too, would lose the light in its eyes, soon left completely un-moving...
... And the third Andromon, a moment later, would be tossed in a heap right on top of Casimeir's! The Mikemon, just a few yards off to the right, took a moment to catch his breath, the Doctor's left hand twitching from that last blow. "Al... alright... don't know why they didn't turn to data, but..." Carefully, Mikemon motioned for the other two infiltrating Digimon to come forward: towards both the MetalGreymon and the Shutmon, the doctor's hands pulsed with a tight healing aura, radiating over both of them for several seconds. Wounds mended, armor popped back into place, and burn marks simply vanished from existence - the cat even ran the aura over his own leg briefly afterwards!
"If all that noise didn't draw the guards in here, then we're either in a good spot, or Viktor's really good at his job. Now, let's get a move-on..."
Guards eliminated, the Mikemon would lead, pressing against the right door at the far side of the hall... and then, he pressed a little harder...
"To hell with this."
Temple's Center
With a powerful fist, Mikemon's paw encased in a crystal gauntlet, the doctor managed to blast a hole directly through the stone door! Stepping over the rubble, though, the cat's eyes flickered with surprise at what he was seeing. Though the previous rooms had more of a pyramid motif, this one? Well, the Doctor could only describe it as a 'void', a black expanse in all directions as far as the eye could see. The only indication that the floor was even under them was the rubble that rested against the floor - though, after several feet, the rock dust didn't spread, indicating that there might have been a severe drop at some point.
Out in the distance, about five hundred yards away, stood a single altar, a beam of light stretching out into the sky. Curious, Mikemon focused briefly, shaking his head.
"Can't fly." The cat shook his head, and picked up a small rock, throwing it over in the direction of the temple. The rock bounced once, off of 'something', before simply falling off into the void. Right, this was a test likely meant for the proper spirit wielder of this totem, but like this? The Mikemon checked his watch:
"Just under two hours left. We don't have time to crawl on our hands and feet and 'feel' for a path to get over there." The Mikemon swore under his breath. "Not to mention, one mistake..."
Prison Island
Oh? It seemed Kajunemon had some defensive prowess all his own.
Then again, the effort amounted to a quick switch to defense, and the creation of a powerful barrier - one that the Seraphimon wasn't familiar with, but presumably didn't seem too concerned with either. From his current position in midair, the angel merely held point, extending both of his palms outward towards the target. If Kajunemon wanted to play turtle?
Then so be it. "This one is mine. Organize a perimeter around the temple."
His voice was calm, befitting to that of a commander, completely unswayed by Kajunemon's words... or, perhaps Kajunemon had touched a nerve in a way that he didn't mean to touch at all. 'Some sort of super move', huh? With the palms extended outward, a bright ball of light began to form, only gaining more power by the second. Sure, Kajunemon's shield might have lasted far beyond what some would have had patience for...
... But an angel? Hardly. Already a handful of the other forces took aim at the Temple itself in the calm standstill...
Log: Current Time Left: 1:58:22 - Temple 1:53:22 - Prison Island
Setting: Temple: The room past the grand hall sported no further golems, but rather a particular void. Five hundred yards away exists their target, but though the path below exists, the ground is invisible and blends with the black expanse. Mikemon estimates it would take far longer than two hours to traverse this path through typical brute force methods, and skills such as flight seem disabled.
Prison Island: As Kajunemon takes a defensive stance, Seraphimon orders the guards to keep an eye on the temple itself... and starts to prepare something, his focus kept on the fox. He maintains his position in midair.

Her pain was paltry.
The damage this andromon dealt to her from this missile was certainly enough to cause considerable pause for someone that wasn't driven. That didn't have a reason but with a snarl the digimon dusted herself off and noted the other two's similar success against their targets.
The shutmon walked slowly over to the andromon; planted her foot against it and yanked her InScissor out of the chest cavity of the one she threw it at. She'd take a brief moment to look over the digimon before frowning. She'd look to the other two and blink as they weren't digitizing.
Were these digimon not actually proper digimon? Were they just simply autonomations that had been created with the purpose of guarding this location. The silence was deafening to her in the brief span of time that it took for the mikemon to address the same issue.
"It's possible with the resources Luminas as a whole has at their disposal that these digimon were crafted. This is an ancient temple right? The guardians were probably made forever ago or something."
She'd look back at the guards and the shutmon exhaled again. She didn't want to really think about that but when the mikemon also addressed the door she was at least able to get past the strange thought of crafted digimon.
She'd walk forward and stop just behind the mikemon. She'd stand there. staring at the location of their target. The thing they came here to get. There was so many emotions welling up in her from this that she'd clench her fists together so tightly that 'blood' would drip from them.
Then she'd pause, jerk her head up and then grin.
"We don't need to crawl on our hands and knees. We don't need to take it slow either, in fact half of this we can do without having to do too much. Do either of you have a water attack? or an ice one for that matter?"
There was a brief pause and she'd look around.
"If not I have another suggestion but you won't like it."

Casimeir huffed a heavy sigh once the battle was over. It was apparent by the visible damage to his body that these Ultimates were stronger than most. He could see why they were chosen to be the guardians of the chamber. But were these even normal Digimon? Their lack of digitizing confused both him and John, the latter rushing to the massive cyborg's side as Mikemon healed him.
"Hey, you guys okay?" The human was concerned for them both after having taken a beating as they did. Again the feelings of uselessness crashed against his mind. He was trying his best to keep them at bay like a seawall.
Casimeir could almost feel John experiencing this. He looked down and gave his partner a reassuring smile. "It's okay, John. I couldn't be doing this without you."
John nodded quietly. His encouragement did help, at least for now. In due time the group reached another chamber. But there were no walls, no paintings, no floors. It was simply a void. The human grew concerned when the Mikemon stated that he couldn't fly. He glanced up at his partner. "Guess your wings are out of the question, then."
K suggested using a water or ice-based technique. To which Casimeir hummed. "My only water-based attack is used by my Armor Champion. But." He paused, mulling it over. "It can't be used unless I am physically in water." Casimeir closed his eyes. He wracked his brain for strategies. The Digimon didn't just want to be the muscle of the group. During his deep thought, an epiphany occurred. "We might not need water."
The bionic dinosaur began to walk toward the edge. "Powerful Flame!" As he aimed his trident arm, fire sprang forth as a hot stream. His goal was obvious; aim the fire at the ground and follow where it went as long as it did not leave a solid surface. John caught on quickly.
"Okay, Cas! I'll direct you!" The plan now was to walk along an invisible path that one didn't have to see, but to feel. Whether the stream would bounce off of a corner and head a separate direction, or not hit an invisible barrier at all, the very least they could tell was where the heat was coming off of and follow its path and readjust the direction of the flames if necessary. Where there was an absence of heat, they would know not to traverse in that direction.
Cooldowns:
1.) Tera Destroyer 2/3
2.) Giga Blaster 1/1 3.) Powerful Flame 0/1

While the barrier was erected, Kajunemon simply sat, his eyes closed and his leg folded, sort of 'resting' while he could. His hands were in clenched fists as they rested on his outer thighs, he could feel the strength of the barrier waning as time went on. Despite not seeing his foe, he could feel what he was doing. The fox spoke as he stood up, standing next to his blade;
"Yet another move to validate my theory, then."
It was clear now. This Angel may have been a Super Mega, but he relied heavily on defensive measures and range attacks to keep his opponent at a distance. Their appearance alone showed the differences in their styles. This digimon was covered in armor, with no real weapon in hand. He knew of his 'hidden' one, however, but it seemed it was more as a weapon of last resort. The matter would be simply closing the distance and keeping the fight in his territory.
Kajunemon swiped his tails to and fro, kicking up the loose dirt and dust within his circle as the entire bubble became a clouded sphere that consumed his figure. Even with enhanced vision, something the barrier prevented due it's nature, the fox would be invisible within his layer of protection. But soon, that dust would begin to spread out. It moved slowly, but began to spread thin eventually. The figure of the fox very much clear, but still unclear. Unless they used enhanced vision. In which case; They'd defiantly see the fox, simply standing in the middle! It seemed the fox believed he was hidden in this cloud, even when it faded.
That was the idea, at least. Kajunemon knew that without a clean shot, the Angel wouldn't take the shot. Lest he strike one of his own guards instead. The cloud seemed to linger a lot longer than most, as the fox kicked up more and more with his tails. The large appendages like helicopter blades near the ground. He kept the swipes low, careful not to clear the dust from his position. Soon, the dust consumed a larger surface area. The fox, however, closed his eyes and listened... knowing his eyes would betray him in this scenario. His hand on his sword, ready to respond to anything his foe sent his way.
His answer to his foe's superior position was to take away his ability to see him all together. Even if he could see him now, he'd have to contend with counter attacks from the fox that lied in wait.
Let's dance, tincan.

At the very least, the ones Dr. Mikemon had hired weren't helpless in this situation. Casimeir was able to quickly take up K's idea, and adapt it in his own way, the fire breath starting to effectively scorch the platform around them. Like this, they would be able to see where the path was: the fire not only bent around it, but a fair layer of visible ash and burn marks would mark it as a whole. As Casimeir looked for a path outwards, Mikemon gave a nod to John: "Your partner's going to run out of fire, eventually. Pick up as many rocks as you can - fill your bag if you have to. It might not be as flashy, but..."
But? Mikemon paused, as the MetalGreymon would have moved his head in a half circle. From the edge of the starting platform, there existed no 'bridge', no path to simply walk to go forward. But how could that be? Biting his lip, the feline looked over to the Shutmon: "See that little bit of rock that broke off my first one, out there? Blast that spot." Presuming K did so, what they would see was a fair bit off Mikemon's first guess: instead of a maze-like path to the shrine, one that could have been solved by crawling, K's blast would reveal a twenty-foot wide circular platform, suspended in space. Burn marks would be visible on three surrounding platforms... but between them?
That was nothing more than a sheer drop. The cat sighed, plucking a rock into his hand.
"This is one demented game of hopscotch..."
Another move to validate his theory?
Perhaps, but it wasn't as if the Seraphimon would be bothered or goaded by those words. As expected, preparing the blast in his hands, the armored angel kept his focus forward, the other guards moving to surround the temple. It seemed that the Kajunemon had some sort of ploy here... he planned to obscure his position with dust? Even if he fell out of sight, the Seraphimon could fairly easily reason that the Ronin was somewhere near the center of the 'disturbance', where dust churned outwards in all directions.
If there was a trick to it, the angel would have wasted a lot of energy. Regardless, the energy would soon reach its peak: holding his palms out, the angel would call forth his attack:
"Almighty Smite!"
At once, like with his first move, a torrent of holy energy would pour down onto Kajunemon's supposed position, the empowered light raining over and around the fox... around being the key word here. Not all who invaded were trapped in crystal - the angels could be quite merciless with some. Should Kajunemon be at the center of the blast, the Ronin would see the earth around him start to break in a wide area, that forceful energy pushing both himself and the dirt beneath back.
On the surface, this might have been just a powerful blow. But on a floating island? Seraphimon intended to blast this fox straight through the island, and send him careening to the ground miles below!
Log: Current Time Left: 1:52:55 - Temple 1:51:18 - Prison Island
Setting: Temple: As before. The 'path' is revealed to be a series of floating platforms.
Prison Island: Seraphimon uses 'Almighty Smite!'
