The coliseum was fully booked out it seemed. The stands were filled with hundreds of cheering digimon, as well as humans visiting from Earth. The air was absolutely electric, the skies above were clear with only a few clouds, and the midday sun was high over them. "Welcome back, sports fans!" a brooklyn accented voice called through the coliseum. Sitting in their commentary booth, Bellamy the Impmon and Luke the Elecmon were close to their microphones, ready to announce the match. "The signup's closed and we're ready to rumble!""That's right, Bells, and our first matchup seems to be a Tenacious Twin Battle!" Luke continued. "From the East Stand, we have Timothy Jones, and his twin partners Bibi the Biyomon and Faluo the Falcomon!""And from our West Stand, we have Takeshi Kido and his twin partners Ryu the Veemon and Ken the Shoutmon!" Bellamy announced. While he had to be impartial, that didn't mean his daughter didn't have to be, Gaz the Gazimon cheering from the west side.
"When both teams are ready, the match will begin!"
Rules are as follows. 1. Post within a week of it being your turn, otherwise you will concede the match to the other player. 2. No targeting each other's tamer. 3. Do not kill your opponent, aim to knock them out. 4. No digivolving past Champion, as that is the highest level Ryu and Ken can go. 5. This match is non-canon, so don't worry about where this is in your characters' stories. 6. Please don't attack on your first post. This post is meant for introductions. As soon as Timothy stepped onto his side of the arena, he took a long look around at the audience. Why did he sign up for it? No one knows, maybe Alice or Katsura put him up to it. Oh well, he came to win today. He looked down to Bibi and Faluo, then said, "Alright guys, not sure about our odds of victory, but I think we can do this. This is only round one, we can probably get past that at least."
Bibi nodded, with a big grin. How did a bird grin? The world may also never know. There's a lot of unknowns today. Bibi leaped into the actual arena and cracked his "knuckles." She then shouted, "Okay! I don't care who you are or what you're made of, I'm gonna toss you around like a ragdoll!"
Faluo let out a sigh, looked up at Timothy, then said, "We'll handle it." With that, he leaped in, walked up to Bibi and knocked her on the back of the head, "DOn't get cocky, if you wanna win, stay focused."
With that, the trio looked in the direction of their opponent, ready to throw hands, throw down, and beat up a few other twins.

The time has finally, Takeshi takes a deep breath. What was his reason to enter ? Simple, they saw the add, Ken had a major laugh and easily persuaded them to join. Both Ryu and Takeshi saw no harm in joining. As they enter the arena Takeshi takes a long look at the audeince, "Man alot of people came to see the tournament. But do not let that get to you, you two can do this." Takeshi said motivating his partners.
"Do not worry we got this, I think our plan is unbeatable after I am in it." Ken said rubbing his nose, he felt really confident.
"Do not get cocky brother, our opponents are twins as well. So we better be careful and do not over extend alright ?." Ryu said before noticing someone in the crowd "hey ken isn't that gaz, bellamy's daughter"
"Oh, you are right" Ken smiles and wave at gaz who is sitting in the crowd.
Ryu then looks at his opponent, they are apparently are a biyomon and falcomon "nice to meet you, its an honor to fight you" Ryu bows out of respect before assuming a southpaw fighting position.
"Oh, get ready to take a beating" Ken cracks his knuckles and spins his mic for a couple seconds, getting ready to fight as he takes a fighting pose.

Faluo gives a respectful bow to the other respectful twin, "Good to meet you too, let's make this nice and fun." This looked like it was gonna be quite the fun battle, with so much peace and respect between th- oh wait, the other one is their Bibi...
Bibi was impatient as ever, "Screw pleasantries! Let's fight!" With that, she charged Ken, gliding her way towards him and using her wings to make any rapid changes to her position in the air as she closes in. She shouted, "Peck attack!" right as she got in close, going straight for a bunch of light pecks, all with the intention to hurt.
Faluo let out a sigh, then charged at Ryu, he was on foot as he wasn't so much of a flier. He stayed light on his feet and would leap in the air and start gliding back down if anything came his way while approaching. As soon as he was right up to Ryu, he'd jump over the Veemon, shouting, "Firecracker smokescreen!" He launch a smoke bomb tucked into his ninja suit right below him, then land behind Ryu.
Bibi: Peck attack: Drills opponent with her beak, light damage.
Faluo: Firecracker Smokescreen: Smoke bomb from a bamboo cylinder, can be used to surprise or confuse an opponent and lasts two turns/1 turn to recharge

Ryu was glad the faulo felt the same way as him, but he is not here to make friends he is here to win. Ryu stood his ground, preparing himself for whatever his opponents had for him.
Ken on the other hand was pumped even more so thanks to bibi similar mind set, he clinched his mic and thought about charging his opponents "KEN!" The voice of Ryu waked ken from his thought. He then remembered their go to plan, as bibi charged him Ken used his feet to quickly jump away from her attack.
While he almost lost balance he quickly got back to his feet, he decided to analyaze his opponent skills so Ken created fire ball and threw it like a baseball player throwing a fast ball.

Ryu on the other faced a trickeir opponent, while Faulo approached him he stayed on guard leaving little to no gaps in his defence. Ryu anticipated a projectils but was faced with a smoke bomb, his vision was limited but his sense of smell wasn't. The falcomon landed behind Ryu, as he smelled him he predtict where the Falcomon is and turned around and threw a punch towards where he smelled the falcomon.

With Ryu in his current state, Faluo could easily keep the pressure on. He was in his natural habitat at the moment, a thick layer of smoke that made life miserable for all their foes. He wasn't expecting Ryu to respond so well though. He quickly ducked under the punch, "Ninja Blade!" He then threw out some shurikens from right under Ryu, aimed right at his chest.
On Bibi's side of things, the battle was heating up quick. She was excited enough about the battle to heat things up as quickly as possible, so when Ken formed the Fast Ball, Bibi responded in kind. "Spiral Twister!" She summoned up a swirl of green flames, they weren't as fast as the fastball, but then made an effective counter, causing a small fiery explosion in between them.
Timothy stared at the battle below, debating when it would be best to Digivolve to the next stage. He wasn't allowed to Digivolve past Champion, so he needed to be careful about how he made his next few moves. Now was not the time for him to ignite the Digivolution, and he quickly lowered his left arm.
Faluo: Firecracker Smokescreen: Smoke bomb from a bamboo cylinder, can be used to surprise or confuse an opponent and lasts two turns/1 turn to recharge
Ninja Blade: Faluo throws a few shurikens at his opponent, each going for light to medium damage.
Bibi: Spiral Twister: Bibi attacks with green flames in a spiral fashion, in the form that it was used, no damage anyways.

Ryu was taken by suprise, Faulo quick reactions were impressive. As his punch missed completly, Ryu hoped to go back to defence but could'nt do so quickly. The ninja blade connected the way Faulo wanted, Ryu reeled from the dammage he almost fell to his knees. But he managed to stand his ground, in desperate need to think quickly Ryu came up with a risky plan. He decided to dashin and tackle Faulo, head first using V-headbutt. He had hoped it will work out the way he wants it to.
Bact to ken's side of things. Ken was impressed by bibi's reaction "heh, you are good. Lets see how you handle this" Ken said as he did a mini dash putting him in the mid range where hand to hand combat won't reach and projectile are a risky gamble. He swinged his weapon, as he was in the distance he liked, ready to react to a block or dodge or counter attack.
Takeshi was worried, he was new at this so he did not know when to evolve to champion so he awaited the moment the twins send the signal.

This was Faluo's last chance with the easy lead on Ryu, he better make it count. He took the V-Headbutt, getting thrown out of the fire. However, he seemed to take advantage of this momentum and took to the skies, hovering in the air for a moment, "Wind Blade!" As he flapped his wings, many blade-like waves of air came towards Ryu. Faluo was applying every advantage he could at the moment.
Bibi stayed mobile, working to avoid the stick. At this range, it was really hard to get any attacks in. She was best off focusing solely on dodging at the moment. "You're good... This is fun!" She seemed overcome with joy as she was on the defensive. She kept making a retreat to hopefully get out of range of the stick while performing her dodges. A few strikes got through from time to time and she was slowly accumulating damage.
Timothy crossed his arms and tried to stay composed. The noise from the stands didn't help, especially Alice who was actually loud enough for him to hear her clearly... He blushed a little, but shook it off and stayed focused on the battle ahead.
Faluo: Firecracker Smokescreen: Now recharging
Wind Blade: Faluo flaps his wings to make wind that cuts like a blade, light damage.

The V headbutt worked as intend, the fight has return to a somewhat neutural postion. Until faulo decided to take it to the skies, unable to fly Ryu used his speed to dodge the wind blade, jumping around he got grazed by one or two projectiles taking minimal damage. The fact that faulo annouced his attack before hand was a helpful indicator, he was glad that he convinced Ken to not do that before the fight. He then thought of an idea to hinder faulo's impressive mobility but he needs to run for now. He turned his back to Faulo and ran as fast he can, gainning a reasonable distance he quickly created an electric ball and turned around to throw at faulo, intending to damage him heavily or excute plan B which is to find out all of Faulo's "Tools" either way he is sure of himself.
Ken on the other hand was kinda happy, if not a little smug. He was right, she sucks at mid range combat, well his staff gave him an unfair advantage. Chuckling quietly, Ken devised a plan, a plan to buff Ryu while giving him the distance he need to avoid getting slashed or pecked to the point of fainting. He delayed one of his strikes, to mess up her dodge or block time and quickly covered his right shoulder with flames quickly dashing in to tackle her with full force hoping to send her flying.
Takeshi rubs his nose "nice" he quietly said to himself, you see he suggested this tactic. As a fighting game he suggested what you might call "collecting data" which is simply, putting your oppents in certain situations to test their reactions and decision making.

Faluo was caught in the air, the arrow got a good hit in on him. He landed back on the ground, so far he had only taken one good hit, so that was a relief... Bibi needed some help though... He moved in close to Ryu, drawing a firecracker in one hand, and some shurikens in the others. He leaped over Ryu, just the same way as before, the only difference, the firecracker never hit the ground, "Bibi!" He chucked the firecracker smokescreen at Ken and Bibi, hoping to give Bibi the close quarters advantage on a blinded opponent. As he landed, he chucked the shurikens right in front of Ryu's feet, "Shall we do battle some more?"
Bibi took to the skies the second Ken stopped his barrage of mid-range attacks. She got as high over him as she could, avoiding his burning tackle altogether. Right then, Faluo's Firecrack Smokescreen would hit where she formerly was. This gave the pink bird a little smirk, "Double Fire!" She summoned two fireballs at either wing as she started to fall back into the smoke. She chucked them right at the position where Ken would hopefully be, given if he got disoriented. She'd hear two small explosions from them collided with either Ken or the ground, but that wouldn't matter. She landed in the smoke and moved in a similar fashion to Faluo in the smoke.
Timothy was oh so glad that they were actually working together today. They needed to work together if they were to win this, just like any battle from now on. This may actually be helpful for them in the future either way. Especially if he can make it to Katsura, who he knew was at the same level as him.

Lools like the arrow, connected it was the best possible outcome Ryu could've wished for. With that he braced himself for his opponents approach, his opponent was fast so he prepared himself to dodge and counter. But what happened was even better apparently Ken's pressure forced Faulo to help bibo, its time for the two dragons to join forces "Ken, escape the smoke!" Ryu warned his brother, the smoke has annoyed him before but with any luck his brother will jump out of ther as soon as possible.
Ken then recogonize where he is, this place will totally put him in a disadvantage. So as he tried to jump out two fire balls land infront of him, he barely dodge the intial impact but the aoe explosion got to him "oh shit" ken got sent even further back, and in some weird twist of fate the explosion sent him away from the smoke. "Phew, here goes nothing. LETS DO THIS, WE ARE THE INVINCIBLE DRAGON TWINS! " Ken yelled into the mike loudly, to the point the people in the audience could probably hear him. And with that a purple aura covered both him and Ryu, strengthening them by 25%. Now all he had to do is anticipate an opponent appearing out of the smoke......what could go wrong ?
Back to Ryu, he lunged in between the shurikens. His fist ready to punch Faulo, with extra force thanks to the buff from Ken.

Bibi, in response to the power-up, decided to hunker down in the smoke and wait it out. She simply held her breath for now, hoping that the smoke would at least keep her safe the rest of this turn and maybe next turn, especially with his silent she was being within it. This was her best chance at the moment.
Faluo also heard the power up, and he wasn't about to get hit so easily. He stayed mobile until the punch is thrown, then would immediately spring into action. He activated his Shadow Screen ability and made it appear as though a few dozen Faluos were moving at once, to draw Ryu's attention away and towards one of the many illusions. In that time, he booked it to the smokescreen. The illusions were complex enough to make most of them look tactical, but one or two were just bad.
Once inside the smoke, they were safe to plot, "Bibi, they have an advantage at the moment, we need to think of something."
"Digivolve?"
"Maybe... But we probably don't want to jump into it too early."
"Then... keep moving and stay out of range?"
"Probably our best bet. Once the smoke goes down, we do that."
Timothy, from his position in the arena was now worried, he could feel the sweat against the back of his hands. He rested his hand on his wrist, looking respectful and calm, but was actually resting his palm on his wrist mounted digivice, ready to digivolve when it became absolutely necessary to do so.

Ken would smirk as his opponent refused to leave the smoke, he thought that this means he has the advantage. Well his power up was scary on its own, combined with Ryu's raw power it proved deadly. It was understandable that Faulo escaped into the smoke, while Ryu could'nt see him ken did and he noticed that he entered the smoke with bibi, that made him smile and turn to his brother signalling to him to come to his location.
Back to Ryu who was caught off guard by the clones jumped back and crossed his arms bracing himself to be hit, but he did not ? The clones did nothing he turned around and saw Ken signalling to him, he then quickly went to ken. And got into a fighting stance
" hey, where is faulo" Ryu asked as he assumed a fighting stance.
"He is in the smoke, like you suggested. The buff we recieved confused them, if I had to guess they are planning a counter attack"
"Clones ? So He is a ninja does not matter. This is Perfect its an oppurtunity for us to recuprate and share intel, I will go first. Faulo is fast and tricky, his techniques lack power though atleast thats what I feel, but they are hard to dodge for sure. What about bibi ? "
"Well she is unpredictable and powerful but lacks focus, her jump in the air was kinda stupid and risky. If she tries that again at the champion level, I should have a proper response. Anyways is it time to evolve to champion yet"
Ryu then smirked as he looked back to Ken. " not yet, I still have one more test for them. Get ready to do that technique we practiced"
Ken smirked as he got in postion holding the microphone with both hands. Ryu then threw a lightning ball at the smoke, it was not aimed well or anything if anything its a scare tactic hitting them would be a perfect bonus. Ken on the other braced himself in order to perform a certain counter, depends on if they will respond the way that he wants them to.
Takeshi was focused like an eagle, waiting for the signal in order to digivolve Ryu and Ken

"So... Do we do the thing?"
"The thing?"
"The thing."
"Yes."
Timothy slipped his hands into his pocket, hiding his digivice from the sight of his foes. To the more perceptive of people, they could see a faint glow come from his pocket. The smoke also seemed to shine for but a moment, but it was short-lived and could have been anything. As it disipated a massive hurricane of sharp leaves appeared around the arena. They wouldn't hurt a Champion much, but this would be a little scary to the average rookie.
All that was seen once the remaining smoke was gone was a Halsemon where the smoke used to be. It seemed to be in a battle stance, staring them down. Little did they know, this thing was just drawing their attention for now. Occasionally in the leaf hurricane the image of something else within the wind would appear.
The Halsemon soon sprang into action flying right in between the two, "Tempest Wing!" It would start spinning around and around and around in this circle, causing a tornado around itself. Said Tornado was picking up the leaves and forming both a shield and something solid to smack against the foe, increasing the damage when it hits further.
If the two tried to retreat, the image from before would appear. Not being recognizable as a Shurimon. It would appear within the hurricane and launch it's blades out in front of them, trying to force them into the tornado, or if he hits them, ehh, whatever works here.
Timothy crouched down and raised his arms to protect himself from the leafy hurricane. He wasn't in nearly as much danger as the fighters down below, but it was instinctive. He just hoped this would be enough to force them into a corner.
Bibi -> No a Halsemon
Tempest Wing: Spins around to form a tornado around itself, AOE, 1 post cooldown
Faluo -> Now Shurimon
Ninja Wind: Transforms into a hurricane of sharp leaves, appearing and disappearing among it. Obvious AOE, 4 turn cooldown.
