The coliseum was fully booked out it seemed. The stands were filled with hundreds of cheering digimon, as well as humans visiting from Earth. The air was absolutely electric, the skies above were clear with only a few clouds, and the midday sun was high over them. "Welcome back, sports fans!" a brooklyn accented voice called through the coliseum. Sitting in their commentary booth, Bellamy the Impmon and Luke the Elecmon were close to their microphones, ready to announce the match. "The signup's closed and we're ready to rumble!""That's right, Bells, and our next match is between two from the old school! From the East Stand, we have Spirit Wielder Alicia Westfield, who kicked my ass last time we were here!""And from our West Stand, from Whitewater we have Lady Beverley the Witchmon!" Bellamy announced. "When both teams are ready, the match will begin!"
Rules are as follows. 1. Post within a week of it being your turn, otherwise you will concede the match to the other player. 2. You can shift to whatever form you want before the fighting starts, but changing forms in battle uses 1 turn. 3. Do not kill your opponent, aim to knock them out. 4. No digivolving beyond what your opponent is capable of. 5. This match is non-canon, so don't worry about where this is in your characters' stories. 6. Please don't attack on your first post. This post is meant for introductions. You may begin the fight on your 2nd post. I have flipped a coin, and it will seem Alicia has the first post. Alicia Westfield *Lady* Beverly and Ghost

”Try not to go overboard out there.” Sol quipped with a sigh as the Steel Spirit Wielder strode out with a humming tune. ”Would hate to have it end via you passing out.”
“I may not have advanced that much form wise, but I’m more powerful than I used to be. I’ll be fine.” Alicia answered back as she snapped her fingers, a soft metallic clang echoing off from her right hand. Perhaps the referees would notice the differences she bared, her right arm gleaming in the light with that skin-colored metal, or how one of her eyes seemed to have permanently changed to a deep red.
”Still... you should take care of yourself. Maybe a tour-.” Whatever the ice maiden was going to say was cut off as Alicia pulled out her D-Scanner and began her chant.
“Radiance of the sun, embodied in the queen of the skies. Now embrace the brilliant Steel and take flight! Beast Spirit Evolution!”
A mass of colored light blazed from the device and encased her, swirling into a sphere like a kaleidoscope for a moment, before shattering and revealing the heavy steel armor of her light-sided Beast Spirt, the newly transformed dragon stretching out and then loosing a challenging roar. “Metalumindramon!”
”At this point, I should’ve expected that...” Kisara sighed out with a smile, with both advisors quieting down at that.
Alicia sat down as she waited for her opponent to fully prepare herself for combat.

As the Witchmon walked out, she was examining her opponent. A metal dragon... brought back memories of fighting a BlackImperialdramon with That Guilmon.
She also briefly thought about her friends who were here. Saibot, Fishy, and her husband Garm. Ghost was here as well, within Beverly. Alas, she was to keep quiet for now. This was to be a fair fight. If Bev loses, she loses. As the leader of Whitewater, however, this might not look good for her if she did lose... Oh well, she can just say she was going easy on her opponent. That might work.
Suddenly, as Bev walked, there was an explosion of purple smoke. Emerging from the smoke was a LadyDevimon. The trademark leather was a reddish color, and the mask was removed, revealing her face (which wouldn't be too different from her Witchmon facial features.
"You have your battle cry... I just use puffs of smoke most times, don't judge me and I won't judge you, am I right? Anyway, try not to beat my face in too much, hehe. It'll make me look bad in more ways than one. "
The last part was said playfully. But Beverly was not one to look unconfident.
The purple smoke has been cleared away, and the LadyDevimon floated low off the ground, awaiting her opponent's first move.

Alicia couldn’t help herself, she tensed visibly at the plume of smoke burst, and the demon woman stepped out of it. She certainly wasn’t going to judge her opponent on that front, what set her on guard was the nonchalant manner her opponent spoke in. She was experienced, plain and simple. Far more experienced than Alicia herself was, she was willing to bet.
”You got that feeling too, huh...?” Sol mused quietly in the back of the spirit user’s mind. Alicia just nodded slightly in return. ”Be careful, there’s no telling what tactics she’ll be able to pull out...”
“Sorry, but I get the feeling I can’t afford to hold back against you.” Alicia answered back to Beverly. “So I’ll bring everything I can possibly use to the table.”
She decided to start with a probing shot, gathering energy in her tail spines, which began to shimmer. In an instant, she moved, pivoting on her right front leg to swing her body around and lash her tail out.
“Radiant Steel!”
The spines released and were flung at the LadyDevimon in a decently sized arc. The spin left her with her left flank facing her foe, letting her long neck crane around to keep an eye on Beverly. If she could get an idea of what the other was capable of, she’d be in better shape for this.
Battle log
Alicia opens up with a quick swipe to launch Radiant Steel in an arc.

It seemed Beverly had gotten her opponent a bit on edge. Admittedly, it wasn't her intention to do so. Still, she was determined. Perhaps Beverly needs to take this more seriously as well. Although the opponents were correct to suspect some unknown tactics being thrown out, Bev also knew she had to pace herself. She had a bag of tricks she could use but using them too early and in bad situations will only do her a disservice.
As Alicia's spines began to glow, Beverly tensed up slightly, up until they were flung at her. Bev shot straight up to the skies as 10 burning arrows appeared around her.
And with a point of her right arm, the arrows fired, one at a time, at the steel dragon. Her "Flare Arrow!" was spread very tight, almost in a single file line, as they aimed for either the neck or shoulder, of whatever body part they could hit.
If anything, Bev can play the distance game for as long as possible, she hoped. Not that she expected her foe to remain grounded.

Alicia huffed as Beverly evaded the Radiant Steel in a predictable manner. In turn, she countered back with a volley of flaming arrows. While her armor could withstand the attack and allow her to more or less shrug it off, she didn’t want to take damage unnecessarily. Pushing her legs onward, the steel dragon lunged out of the path, letting the arrows hammer the space she had originally been at harmlessly, and used the momentum to break into a run, her wings beating hard as she lifted off as well.
The fight was in the skies now but that was honestly to Beverly’s advantage, or so the Steel Spirit Wielder feared. She had to ground the demon somehow, and fast, but if she went straight for Star Steel Meteor... It would probably end badly. Best to try luring her opponent into a misleading sense of aerial superiority... Not entirely false of course as the smaller demon under most circumstances could probably dance circles around Alicia.
Her plan in mind, the Metalumindramon climbed higher and flicked her tail down, launching another barrage of her Radiant Steel. Perhaps she could get a lucky hit off. However, the main point of the attack was to try and get Beverly positioned just right so that Alicia could drop on her with the next attack.
She might’ve picked a bad form to start with...
Battle log
Alicia leaps out of the Flare Arrows' path and takes flight. Ascending higher, Alicia launches a second burst of Radiant Steel.

"Alright, so she's not *that* slow, not that I expected her to be near immobile... "
Missing the attack wasn't all to much of a bother. And as she figured, Alicia took flight. The Lady maintained her tactic of maintaining her distance. Even if Bev had air superiority, that's a big, heavy dragon she was facing with heavy armoring. And she didn't have That alongside her this time to help her fight a dragon of similar stature. One wrong move could prove to be her downfall.
As she maintained her distance, she flew around, dodging another set of spines.
She would need to get some sort of momentum going, however...
Flame trickled down her right arm, and into her hand. Raising it up towards Alicia, she opened her hand, producing a black and red fireball. It grew and pulsated quickly until it was half Beverly's height before she threw it up in the air.
"Go and fly, my Bat Flare!"
From the fireball, burning wings and a flaming face emerged. As to be expected, this created a fair sized fire bat, and it sped towards the steel dragon, bearing its fiery fangs to bite and burn. All the while Bev flew in another direction. The bat came from up high, Bev would attack from a lower altitude, although Bev knew well enough not to fly directly under her.

Alicia narrowed her eyes as she tracked Beverly’s movements closely. The fire building up in her hand after she evaded her second barrage of Radiant Steel was making her a little concerned, if it was a directed attack, she’d have to react to it as it would have enough punch to make her sting at least a little bit should it connect.
Then it sprouted wings and ascended, creating a third layer to their winged dance. Annoying, to be sure, she wasn’t in the right form to be able to evade this attack until it burned itself out, nor could she technically reflect it back at Beverly given this thing was autonomous. Not that she thought reflecting it was a good idea anyways... The fire bat charged at her, while Beverly appeared to be looking for an opening to launch a bigger attack. Perhaps she intended to force said opening?
Regardless, Alicia had made up her mind, mostly ignoring the Bat Flare as it came closer and circled, just a little more... The Metalumindramon beat her wings hard, flipping herself over and yanking her angle of attack so that instead of her flank facing the demon woman, the Spirit User was staring her down straight on. With that motion, she also flicked her tail at the batty fireball, smacking it with the tip.
There was a small wince as the flare latched on at impact and started gnawing away, but Alicia shoved it to the back of her mind and charged.
“Star Steel... METEOR!” With another heavy beat of her wings, she had flung herself into an attempt to body slam Beverly out of the air, with a deceptively fast acceleration due to the heavy armor that generally restricted her aerial movement outside of huge and deliberate motions was suddenly being turned into an advantage, the pull of gravity being much stronger on her than on a Digimon of similar size that lacked her armor.
With any luck, she’d catch the demon off guard and deal a heavy blow. And of course she was planning to make evasion as difficult as possible. This wasn’t a simple fall, it was controlled dive bomb that she didn’t intend to pull up from, and as such she could make adjustments to her flight path to try and account for Beverly’s own moves. A potentially devastating airborne ramming maneuver.
Battle log
Alicia ignores the Bat Flare until the last moment, at which point she flings herself around and smacks it with her tail, forcing it to latch on at the end of said tail instead of somewhere more meaningful.
With the same rolling fling, she launches into Star Steel Meteor against Beverely, aiming to crash into her and sandwich her between the ground or a wall and Alicia’s own thick armor.
Star Steel Meteor - Taking to the skies, Metalumindramon can turn her heavy armor into a weapon in it’s own right, allowing her to slam down and crush any unfortunate opponent she catches between her feet and the cold and unforgiving ground. Due to how heavy her armor is, this dive bomb style attack can actually be initiated surprisingly fast if she’s already airborne given that it uses gravity to Alicia’s advantage instead of fighting against it, and also makes the attack marginally more powerful then one would expect. The Bat Flare may have made its target, but it was such a relatively unimportant part of the body it might as well have missed. Still, it would continue to gnaw and burn the tip of her tail for a short period.
During said period was also when Alicia performed Star Steel Meteor. With a downward moment Beverly honestly did not expect. She could either dodge or take it head on. Just that very consideration would be enough time for a clean dodge to be out of the question.
"HELL'S ROLLING!"
Swirling darkness appeared around her arms, spinning at high speeds as if they were radial saws. However, while normally a thrown attack, under normal circumstances it would be pointless to use against aerial opponents. But in this case, it may prove useful.
Holding the attack, StarSteel'd Alicia collided with the Lady. The attack would, likely, deal little, if any, damage to such armor, and cutting prowess is not what it's for. What it can be used for, however, was pushing opponents back.
Should they continue downward, Bev would indeed hit the ground, but the bulk of the weight would be supported by the Hell's Rolling, if even for a few moments. How the rolling attack effect Alicia, however... Bev simply had to play by ear.

”Hmm... she wasn’t expecting that one I see.” Sol commented clinically as Alicia managed to score a solid connection with her Meteor attack. It was more that he’d thought the Spirit User would get, though. Beverly was certainly more nimble than Alicia. But this pick up from catching her off guard might just be the ticket to ending this match now.
”She thinks quick though...” Kisara added as the three of them all heard the grinding sound of the Hell’s Rolling saws grating on Alicia’s armor. Of course, the dragon was far more massive than the demon, and had momentum on her side, so of course Beverly was shoved down, down into the earth with a thundering impact.
Alicia herself grunted as she realized what Beverly was thinking of when she made this attack, she was able to smash the smaller ‘mon against the ground, yes, but she could no longer crush her opponent under her armored form. It mitigated the damage she dealt significantly, so Alicia settled for finishing the attack with a pair of stomps on the LadyDevimon in lieu of the proper finish. No where near as powerful, but it got the note across.
That left them in a bit of an awkward situation in which neither of them had an ideal situation to work with. Alicia would’ve much preferred to be physically pinning her opponent down with her forelegs at this juncture, but was held up by the whirling saws of darkness.
In turn, Beverly didn’t really have that easy of an escape. Alicia was more or less ignoring what little damage the buzzsaws were doing, so if she let them go for whatever reason, the Spirit Wielder would be on her in the next second at most. However, with the pressure Alicia was putting on those saws... maybe they would break shortly, no one could say.
An awkward position like this would imply that neither competitor was in a position to attack the other. If one didn’t factor in the possibility that Alicia had an attack centered on her head, and a neck long enough to cross the distance between her body and Beverly.
“Time to end this.” Alicia spoke with finality, fairly confident that her position was nearly unassailable. She craned her neck back, the gem on her forehead shimmering with rainbow light as a prismatic horn formed upon it.
“Rainbow Burst.”
The Spirit Wielder lunged her neck forward, aiming to drive her horn into her opponent’s form and deal an explosive blow that would force the LadyDevimon to surrender. The sooner she finished this, the better.
Battle Log
Due to successfully connecting with Star Steel Meteor last round, Alicia has forced both Beverly and herself to the ground, somewhat pinning Beverly underneath her but not perfectly.
Alicia ignores the Hell’s Rolling, allowing it to grind away as her heavy armor [Passive: Metal Juggernaut - Enemy Ultimate level attacks are reduced in power by 30%] is easily withstanding the buzzsaws.
Alicia attacks with Rainbow Burst
Star Steel Meteor will be available again next turn
Rainbow Burst - Metalumindramon rears up and roars, gathering energy in her forehead gem before sprouting a horn from it and stabbing the opponent, releasing the pent up blast with in the opponent's body.

Good, Beverly wasn't crushed, but the Hell's Rolling wouldn't hold for long. That fall took nearly all the wind out of her, though. While she had to hold the buzzsaw like attack, it still allowed her to escape the stomps.
(((As a reminder, these unfired Hell's Rolling are formed around her arms. If they are holding Alicia up she wouldn't be able to stomp Beverly. Rainbow Burst, on the other hand)))
Beverly already had a plan on getting out of this. A staff quickly appeared above her head from a suddenly forming mass of data, with a red shaft and housing a glowing orange jewel. Alicia started to rear her head back to drive a prismatic horn into her.
Briefly Beverly wondered if this was legal. Stabbing her with a horn like that would kill her, would it? Not that she was willing to find out. She may have been smaller, but that also meant she was a smaller target. She rolled out the way as much as she could to have the horn hit the ground (or just any point that wasn't Beverly's body), but also went into her next attack.
"Flare Force!"
The staff hit the ground, causing a force to surround Alicia, which would stop her (if only barely). The Hell's Rolling vanished, but for a moment Metalumindramon would be suspended in the air. That is, before she would be flung backwards. Again, the armor would mitigate some of the damage, but as long as the dragon was off of her, mission accomplished.

((OOC: My bad, Panzer. Misunderstood how that attack worked))
While Beverly had managed to evade the main stab of the Rainbow Burst, she was still in far too close quarters. As soon as the energy horn pierced the earth at her side, the power built up and discharged, a nice little explosion going off right next to the LadyDevimon.
((OOC: Unless, of of course, I’m misunderstanding again. It looks to me like your firing Flare Force right after Rainbow Burst finishes.))
Of course, the next moment Alicia was wrapped up in what she could only describe as some kind of energy bubble, lifting her up. “Ah...?” Well... this was annoying. The Spirit User grunted as Beverly tossed her away, noticing a slight searing on her armor. Her saving grace was that the sheer weight she had going for her meant she wasn’t really thrown that far away, landing heavily and skidding along the ground only a moderate distance away. Certainly far enough for the demon to get some breathing room, but probably not nearly as far as she would’ve liked. If Alicia had wanted to she could clear the distance again in a charge, but that wasn’t all that advisable either
Regardless, there went her best shot of ending this as Metalumindramon. She highly doubted she’d be able to catch Beverly again with Star Steel Meteor, Radiant Steel wasn’t going to cut it range wise, and Rainbow Burst was a close range attack. She highly doubted her opponent would let her get that close again. So a new form was in order.
“Ever flowing, ever changing, my soul is Steel in it’s most malleable form! Slide Evolution!”
As the Spirit User rose, her armor seemed to fall away, revealing a flowing and glistening silver underneath. Bursting into so much data, the fluid form she had chosen to shift to sat down and gazed at Beverly, watching for the other’s next move.
“Mercurialdramon.”
Alicia’s eyes narrowed, as in an instant her new malleable body shifted, compressing it’s mass into a leaner and more focused form, one that could cut through the distanced much more rapidly that it’s base state or Metalumindramon ever could.
Battle Log
Alicia is scorched a bit by Flare Force and flung a fair distance away from Beverly.
Alicia decides to shift to Mercurialdramon, which brings her Amorphous Form passive into play as Alicia has had enough time to analyze the situation.
Alicia sits back and waits for Beverly’s next move.

Out from the ensuing explosion came Beverly's body, making some distance in the air before rolling onto the ground, eventually coming to a complete stop. as she dug her claws into the ground to halt her momentum.
"Freaking ow! Alright spirit user, looks like you almost got one on me..."
Alas, Bev was just getting use to the large dragon. And now the spirit user turned into a liquid dragon. Well... a liquid dragon was not unheard of for Bev, but she had no experience fighting him.
She had to make due with her options. While she has two other applicable forms to use, one seems useless against an opponent as viscous as her.
It's a risk either way, but she decided to remain in her current form. Once more she rose up an arm. Both arms, in fact, as a dark sphere formed above her. However the sphere looked like it warped the very area around it. Even looking at it too deeply would cause the eyes of most to hurt a little.
"I admit, I am at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with a form such as that. But you don't get to where I am without some experimentation, do you agree?"

Alicia hummed softly as she watched Beverly recover from her earlier attack, mentally weighing how the fight had gone down in her head. Beverly certainly had more experience than her, but the liquid dragon was now willing to indulge the possibility that her forms brought much more power to the table on average. The Flare Arrows were a significant threat, perhaps, but everything else seemed to be more utility than stopping power in inclination. Even Hell’s Rolling seemed more as a means of locking an opponent down then anything else.
Perhaps she held the upper hand? As long as she didn’t get stuck in stupid at least...
“Sorry to say that this form is all about experimentation. Even I’m still finding new things about it every now and then.” Alicia quipped back as she shuffled a bit at the sight of the charging orb. An energy attack of some sort? Unlikely, Beverly may be unused to opponents like what she currently was but she most certainly was not stupid. That kind of big, obvious attack would never catch such a fluid opponent. Then again the LadyDevimon had already displayed a homing attack. Perhaps this was of a similar style?
The Mercurialdramon mentally tensed and rise up from her seated position. Back to probing for the time being. Forcing her to close in would play to this form’s strengths... “Scalding Metal!”
Rearing her head back and then throwing it forward, Alicia unleashed a boiling hot gout of mercury at Beverly, but otherwise remained where she was.
Battle Log

Once Alicia drew her head back, Beverly flew in, straight at her. The sphere seemed to be following Bev, however, for a brief moment, before it's warping form flew in front of her, blocking the Scalding Metal... no, absorbed it? It seemed to just fall into space. The spere itself seemed to look unstable, growing into a black blade with warped light around it, nearly as long as Beverly's height.
Once she got close enough, the LadyDevimon would perform a few slashes with her "RAGNA BLADE!", largely to keep Alicia on her toes.
There was a look of glee on Beverly's face. Not too much like a sadistic glee, however. Beverly was enjoying the match. She'd enjoy it more if she won, and hopefully this will give her an edge.
