"Well, Bells, that was an unfortunate end to our last round, but, rules are rules" Luke stated through his microphone in the commentary box. "That's right, Luke. The previous participants didn't make a move in the alotted time limit, so, unfortunately we've had to call time and end it there" Bellamy added. His daughter Gaz was of course furious, but that was a story for another time. "So then, that advances things to the next round - where our last participant that hasn't fought yet finally has the chance to show her stuff" Luke said. "From the East wing, we have the intrepid solo digimon, K the Shutmon!" "And on the West wing, we have the tamer Timothy and his twin bird partners Bibi and Faluo!" Bellamy added. "So then, when both teams are ready, you can begin!"
Rules are as follows. 1. Post within a week of it being your turn, otherwise you will concede the match to the other player. 2. No targeting Timothy and no cards. 3. Do not kill your opponent, aim to knock them out. 4. No digivolving beyond what your opponent is capable of. 5. This match is non-canon, so don't worry about where this is in your characters' stories. 6. Please don't attack on your first post. This post is meant for introductions. You may begin the fight on your 2nd post. 7. Since this match is a battle between a solo digimon against twins, the rule is that each twin attack has 50% effectiveness against K, while K's attacks are 2x effective against each twin. This is to offset the advantage in numbers. I have flipped a coin, and it will seem Timothy has the first post. @k vating

Well, it was time for Round 2. Their opponent was K, they didn't know who K was exactly, but that wouldn't matter, it was time for them to get ready for round two. Timothy walked out to his place in the arena as Bibi and Faluo were already getting ready, aware that their opponent was at least Ultimate. The two walked out the gate in their Champion forms already. As they approached the central point of the arena, Timothy's Digivice shone a bright white. "Aquilamon!" "Peckmon!" "DNA Digivolve to Silphymon!" Out from the light walked out their DNA Ultimate, Silphymon, ready to throw down.
Timothy crossed his arms, he had won the last round, but mostly due to technicalities. Here, he would win by skill and skill alone. Hopefully. This could get intense fast. He was already ahead of the game, sizing up the area, any way their movements could be restricted, and trying to figure out how a Shutmon will work. After a moment, he remembered that he should probably introduce himself, "Hey! I'm Timothy, Bibi's the energetic one, Faluo is the calm one, and they're fused so that one doesn't even matter yet... Oh well!"

While K recieved a bye for the first round, it didn't help her be any less nervous for the inevitable 'second' round. She didn't really know who she was fighting past the name that the announcers had called out. It wasn't surprising that she didn't know them, as the digital world was a large place. Larger still with the human one sliding their denizens into it.
Smoothing down her fur and checking over her blades one last time the shutmon strode out into full view of the arena proper. It felt much larger being down in the pit rather than up in the stands, you could feel the sheer difference right away. The energy was different when you were down here, whether you liked it or not.
Her immediate opponents were a pair of champions. An Aquilamon and Peckmon, both types of digimon that she hadn't met yet either. Though they were quick to digivolve to the next step; combining their forms into A Silphymon. K found herself frowning fro a brief moment.
She found herself looking about for a few moments longer than she'd like before actually meeting the others in the middle. Her forearm blades switched from a relaxed folded back mode, to their forward 'attack' one. The blades ringing oddly for her; it would be the first time she wouldn't be fighting to fully incapacitate someone. Which would require her to show a little bit of restraint.
The shutmon of course didn't forget the frivolous nature of introductions and with a sweeping bow that ended with the shutmon taking a fighting stance. One arm high and one arm low, her legs spaced out in a wide almost relaxed manner. Her head quirked to the side as the mention that it didn't much matter about their personalities.
"A pleasure Timothy. Bibi. Faluo. As you are already aware my name is K. Shall we get started or is there anything you want to say?"

Bibi and Faluo were oddly in sync today and ready to go. So well in sync that they could actually maintain this form without pissing each other off. "Negative! It's time we do battle!"
Timothy raised his hand slowly, "I mean, we could try to at least be frie-"
"No time! To battle!"
"Why do I even bother...?"
And just like that, Silphymon burst into action, moving faster than most ultimates would be able to keep up with. It moved around behind K at a deathly speed, not even bothering to use and moves yet, just moving around and kicking K in different areas. They were trying to find some sort of easily exploitable point, one that would make her react in any sort of pained way. After a few strikes with likely no luck, they'd move around K one last time, getting right under her chin, "Holy Uppercut!" As they went in for an uppercut, their fist glowed a glorious white. If this fist collided it would have the strength to knock K into the air.
[Passive] Deathly Fast: Capable at moving at incredible speeds mid-combat, can't take many hits though.
Holy uppercut: Uppercuts the opponent into the skies to leave them open middair.

K frowned slightly when there was a miss-match of responses to her question. The tamer was somewhat relaxed about it; while the fused digimon seemed to just want to fight immediately. Which of course fit in why they all were here after all. They didn't come here to chit chat, but some idle banter before the actual fighting would of been nice... Kind of.
She found herself doing a double take at the sudden movement of the Silphymon; if she had to put it into perspective of how fast the other was moving she'd likely put it just under mega proper. Well that was her guess anyways; as it was her eyes couldn't completely keep up with the Silphymon's speed. Not surprising but at the same time it made her question what to do with an opponent that had the speed advantage.
The answer?
It was simple really, just endure it. Wait for an opening and see what she's given. The kicks were more annoyances than actual attacks; enough to make the shutmon shift her weight and roll the balls of her feet to keep herself from staggering. Her decision for a wide stance was the proper one in regard to this overwhelming speed she had to deal with.
Then there was the attack, she figured they'd use something dramatic at the end of this flurry but an uppercut? The shutmon grunted in pain as it managed to land and send her up in the air....
Which of course she'd come falling down to the earth right?
The shutmon instead of spiraling out of control being airborne, Flipped and righted herself so that she was more or less diagonally angled so that her head was still in view. Giving a bit of a grin and a soft call out...
"BUSTER BEAM"
From her mouth shot a pure composite beam, a pure white coloration that was somewhat painful to look at more of the sheer lack of color it presented. Whether or not she missed her target was irrelevant to her. She wanted to see how fast they could move and this was a perfect opportunity. If they could dodge this she'd be forced to use something a little more drastic.
If the beam hit it's mark, they'd be engulfed by an explosion. If it missed and hit the ground the beam would still detonate. The resulting explosion would shower down a small ring of several beams, causing secondary explosions with upon their collision with the ground.
Passive:
Bound: Using it's powerful legs, this digimon may treat even air as solid ground. Allowing it to basically "fly"
Ability Used:
Buster beam: This digimon may shoot a beam from it's mouth, which upon contact of a solid surface explode, showering down several smaller beams in a small ring around it. The initial explosion is fifty feet in radius, while the smaller ones are ten feet in radius. This main explosion is much stronger than the smaller ones, while trivial to some can quickly add up if not careful. This move may be used every three posts.

Woah, she can fly too!? That was all Bibi and Faluo could think in sync as they instantly got to reacting to K's counterattack. They got out of the initial explosion pretty easily, but then it spread like wildfire. There were beams everywhere causing mini explosions all over the place and Silphymon was within it. Just keep dodging and you'll be fine. Nevermind, take to the skies.
From within the explosions, as they were still spreading, Silphymon flew up and out of the explosions to avoid it altogether, though they did get burnt a little in the process. "You're good. We're actually sane too, so that's a thing." With that, they charged back into battle, moving as quick as they could to hopefully draw K's vision away from them while they make their next move. "Dual Sonic!" They fired off a shockwaves from what would be behind K at the moment. Then got ready to move again, giving her time to respond.
Dual Sonic: Crashes a shockwave into the foe to deal a moderate amount of damage.
[Passive] Deathly Fast: Capable at moving at incredible speeds mid-combat, can't take many hits though.

With how quickly the Silphymon was able to respond to her buster beam the shutmon wasn't exactly sure what to do as far as ranged attacks went immediately. She was mostly a rounded close quarters combatant and thus far had been having to play this fight by their terms rather than her own.
Their speed was a major problem still; something that she needed to deal with in a fashion. She absolutely needed to reduce their movement but she didn't have anything other than sheer damage and versatility as such.
Then they did something absolutely stupid. They talked to her in the middle of a fight; in response all they got was a cold look followed by renewal of that stance from earlier but in the air. They were still fast as all hell but the Shutmon was starting to see patterns.
Or at least she thought she was seeing patterns.
At the call out of the attack which was behind her the Shutmon whirled and was greeted with the sight of a shockwave quickly approaching her. There was no time to think; there was only time to act.
The soft but somewhat firm question of "was this going to work?" followed suit as the shutmon went horizontal for a moment. Her feet looking ready to intercept the shockwave... But upon getting her rather than it hitting her in a harmful fashion she instead used the shockwave as a moving platform. Of course it was faster than what she was expecting and maybe about halfway into her journey she had to kick off straight down and land heavily on the ground with a snarl.
"Lightning-blade."
Nothing need be said as her blades were wreathed with lightning. The dangerous energy arcing along the blades and the intent quite clear. If they closed into melee range they would meet the bite of her blades and the general pose that she assumed earlier was altered slightly. Her form needed to be tighter for someone that moved this quickly... One arm was closer to her body while the other was extended in such a manner to get ready to respond more immediately. It was as if she was saying something; even without speaking.
Come. Have a taste of my blade.
Lightning-Blade: This digimon may charge it's blades with lightning, allowing it to make shocking high damaging strikes for two posts. This may electrocute some bodies of water and deal spread damage within. This move has a two post cool down.
Lightning-Blade Duration: [0/2]
Buster beam Cool down: [1/3]
Bound: Using it's powerful legs, this digimon may treat even air as solid ground. Allowing it to basically "fly".

Welp, that did some damage, but of course she'd be able to use it to her advantage. Okay, so the trick here was to keep mobile and hopefully wear her down. They also took the time to consider that something was up. Thank Yggdrasil Faluo was in their head, if he wasn't, they probably would've charged right in.
Seeing as there were now blades covered in lightning... Yeah, thank Yggdrasil.
We have a counter to that.
We do?
The ranged attacks.
Oh! Okay.
Just like that, Silphymon started circling K, they were using a similar tactic before to keep K confused. Only this time, they weren't gonna have the same result. "Static Force." They start occasionally stopping from their rapid movements and firing off energy shots at K. They would always work to try and avoid stopping in the same place, they needed this to be seemingly random.
Static Force: Fires off energy shots while extending both of it's hands.
[Passive] Deathly Fast: Capable at moving at incredible speeds mid-combat, can't take many hits though.

So far three things were clear. This opponant had the speed advantage. They had the ranged advantage which made it more important that she got close. She knew that she likely had the close quarters under her belt so to speak.
So instead of charging in the fusion of the fused digimon started to circle her and fire energy shots off at her. There was a standard rotation of which they attempted to stop and fire off the shots in different places. Likely to try to confuse her but ultimately that was a fruitless venture.
Energy shots that were within her view were easily deflected or countered with her charged blades. The shutmon found herself frowning as another shot hit her backside. With a growl she'd turn her head slightly, following the sheer amount of speed they'd be....
And like that the shutmon leapt from the ground, kicking off from the air as she went to aim a Lightning-blade charged slash at where she figured the fusion would be if they followed the same rotational pattern that was bound to happen when circling someone.
If she missed that was fine, but she needed to just close the distance else they could just keep whittling her down during this fight. She couldn't have that after all....
Lightning-Blade: This digimon may charge it's blades with lightning, allowing it to make shocking high damaging strikes for two posts. This may electrocute some bodies of water and deal spread damage within. This move has a two post cool down.
Lightning-Blade Duration: [1/2]
Buster beam Cool down: [2/3]
Bound: Using it's powerful legs, this digimon may treat even air as solid ground. Allowing it to basically "fly".

Okay, this range thing is going quite well. She doesn't seem to have any advantages at this distance, which meant they could possibly stall the battle out this way if they stayed out of range. That is, if she stays out of their range. That shouldn't a problem though, no, not at all...
They were wrong.
While the fusion felt safe at their distance, K closed in the gap in no time, getting right into their faces with little time to respond. With one powerful strike, the Fusion was send flying into the ground, leaving a small crater. "Ohhh..."
With that, the fusion got up, brushed themselves off as if nothing had happened (They were mentally freaking out) and leaped back. The Digivice on Timothy's wrist started to glow once more, this time allowing them even more power. They were encompassed in a glorious flash of pure white light.
"Silphymon digivolve to AncientKazemon!" Once the light vanished a glorious feminine bird lady stood before K. Their wings now went around them and formed pauldrons for them to protect themselves. A rapier materialized before them and they got into a combat stance. "We hope you're ready for the true battle."
Timothy was, to say the least... Excited. They hadn't actually used this form more than once, and the first time was just because they unlocked it, no real special reason for why they needed it. Now was time to test it's metal against a very strong opponent.
Silphymon Digivolved to AncientKazemon.

All right so she had managed to actually hit the speedy Silphymon with her charged blade. She had anticipated them stopping or trying to shift their rotation in such a way to make her miss as they were quite agile in comparison. But her guess as to where they were going to be simply was lucky enough that they didn't do that.
She stood there; looking at them with a brow quirked. Had she hit them that hard to where there would be a crater? Or did they just add a little bit of push to it for the sake of crowd? She didn't feel like she hit them that hard...
Their reaction following suit of brushing themselves off was of course a good one. Digiviolving would likely give them an advantage in most fights; as there wasn't much in the way of those that could normally attain mega of any grade.
The shutmon tutted a bit and whilst in the air the soft light of digivolution engulfed her. It was almost gentle and somewhat re-assuring; nothing as intense compared to that flash of light the others were engulfed by.
The Shutmon was quickly replaced with a CresGarurumon. Whom for a few seconds would stay airborne before the digimon slowly fell from the sky and landed dramatically on the arena floor. She'd slowly stand up; spinning her pole-arm around and around; those icy cold eyes from earlier staring at the now AncientKazemon.
Their words were met with silence and the CresGarurumon followed suit in taking their own combat stance. This would be the first time that K was fully in control of this form; every time before emotions had gotten the better of her and forced this digivolution. It was somewhat invigorating in comparison to what she was normally used to.
K would cock her head and continue to stare at the 'duo' her eyes sliding to timothy for a brief moment. She could feel the excitement here; it was somewhat re-assuring to know that they weren't feeling any malice towards one another. That would of course make this whole fight completely moot...
Shutmon Digivolved to CresGarurumon!
Lightning blade has been put on cooldown due to digivolution! [0/2]
Buster Beam is no longer on cool down!

AncientKazemon looked towards their new foe, a CresGarurumon. This was gonna be interesting, time to get themselves ready for a battle. "Storm Gazer!" As they spoke, the arena started to be encompassed in a massive storm. The arena fogged up quite significantly, and debris would constantly come by to buffet K, nothing significant, but still enough to get her to feel it.
For AncientKazemon, none of these problems seriously persisted for them. In fact, they seemed to be even faster and stronger within the storm. They were a lot safer within this massive storm.
Timothy, in the stands, had kneeled down and put an arm over his head to protect him. He constantly looked out to the battle that he really couldn't see too well at the moment, but he needed to at least look like he could see well.
Storm Gazer: Creates a huge storm in a large area, limiting vision and damaging opponents occasionally (1/5)

The icy cold eyes didn't stop staring at the AncientKazemon; even when they called out their attack and the storm started up. Sure there was fog and sure there was debris that kept hitting her occasionally. But it was trivial in both regards. Her armor would negate most of the debris as they were in a pretty clean area so there wasn't really much for it to sweep up right?
The AncientKazemon seemed to be enjoying the storm in some fashion; they were a tad harder to pin down but considering they didn't do much to attack their opponent past summoning the storm... Gave the CresGarurumon a plethora of options. Should she try to dive into the thick of it and swipe at the fast moving opponent? Perhaps leap into the sky? The CresGarurumon shook it's head and gently gripped it's polearm in one hand...
Vector Lance.
...And with a swipe of it's free arm a wall of lances appeared behind it; ready to do what their 'master' commanded. The CresGarurumon pointed at the AncientKazemon with it's polearm and started launching wave after wave of spears.
It wasn't much one for posing and unfortunately quite a few of it's attacks revolved around helping others. It couldn't use Favor of the fallen, Cadence or knight's favor in a situation like this. But on the bright side if the other tried to engage them there was always something somewhat slow moving but powerful that it could bring to bear...
Vector Lance: Summoning up a wall of spears behind it this digimon may shoot out as many spears as it pleases; using the polearm in it's hands to direct the spears to it's preferred spot of attack. This may launch up to half a dozen attacks, each having roughly three to nine spears in each. This may be used anywhere from one to six times. However once you stop attacking with this ability that's it. This ability can only be used every three posts.

AncientKazemon watched the spears approach them. As if that was gonna be enough to stop them in their current state? They had gotten a rather significant power and speed boost from the storm, moving even faster than before. With this extra speed, they were able to easily avoid the spears coming at them for now. It was time to get on the offensive.
"Wind Blade!" From the hurricane encompassing the battlefield, a blade of wind would now cut through from the dangerous winds, straight for K. Even this was much more powerful than usual. Looks like their strategy could pay off if they won in the next few turns of battle.
The battle was clearly getting more and more intense as they went on. Timothy could tell by the movement in the winds. AncientKazemon was moving rapidly and randomly, then went for a move. He didn't hear which one, he just knew it happened by the changes in the storm.
Storm Gazer: Creates a huge storm in a large area, limiting vision and damaging opponents occasionally (2/5)
Wind Blade: Fires off a blade of wind at the foe to severely damage the foe (0/2 cooldown)
Passives:
Storm Agility: Capable of easily navigating even the most hazardous of storm-like attacks
Storm Up: Increases in strength and speed by 50% while Storm Gazer is active

K growled a little bit as she noted not a single spear landed home. With a soft tutt she'd look around admist the storm somewhat irritatedly. Where the blazes was this digimon?
Then the wind blade came absolutely out of no where. She had very little time to react and wasn't able to even get parry to block the damn thing. With a snarl she'd have to deal with it breaking across her chest.
The mega staggered and righted itself with the use of it's polearm. The mega shook it's head a bit and with a hearty but somewhat explosive sigh went from mega down to rookie.
"I concede."
The rookie wasn't very pleased with the idea of doing so; but it was clear she couldn't do anything when not a single spear hit the other mega. Promptly whenever the attacks ended she'd give a little bow to both timothy and the 'twins' before turning on a heel and leaving without another word.
