It was strange having such a quick recovery, it was strange having her equipment back. But the only person she really could thank, or persons rather was Jesmon and examon. She couldn't imagine the digimon sitting around idly while there was work to be done, dragon emperor or not. There was some odd moments where she kept inspecting her hands as though she was expecting them to change suddenly or something. She'd give the mikemon a wolfish grin before taking a seat in the break room. There was something odd here, like something she should of remembered. But what was it? It was sort of gnawing at the back of her head; she'd scratch her ear and look around.
"I can imagine, considering how selective your clientel is right?"
K felt her brow raising just a bit as mikemon started off what seemed to be a very heavy conversation; or at least a heavy list from the examon's previous one with the cat. She'd dip her head in a small nod not feeling like that needed much of a response. But the first item on the list actually made the shutmon blink a few times.
Examon was concerned about her? Her mental state?
She'd look down at her hands again, blinking slowly as she wasn't sure how to really address that. What was she supposed to do about what happened? Both of them were events that scarred her deeply and changed almost everything about the digimon.
"....What do you think I should do? It's going to take a lot of work to get over something that I tended to for such a long time and getting over dying."
She'd sigh softly and look like she was lost for a moment, she didn't know what to do about either of those problems she had. She didn't know how to address either of them without resorting to petty violence.
"It's going to be hard regardless eugh..."
The shutmon put a hand to her head, frowning slightly. There was no headache but she certainly wasn't sure what to think. It was a frustrating turn to really wake up to. What steps could she take? What problems could she solve?
Then there was a small moment where her eyes widened in shock and her jaw dropped just a little bit. How could she do something like that? Loading another digimon? GraceNovamon was a super mega tier, one that ended up in some way making a strange loop between the three super megas!
"I don't think I'd be able to do that, or bring myself to do so. I'd have to take whatever latter option that would make it impossible for her to return... I can't load someone, that goes against everything I am."
The shutmon froze for what seemed to be a full minute as she processed the idea that she a former innkeeper of all things could gain a title as powerful, respected and feared... as a Royal knight. The shutmon slowly set her hands on the table, frowning slowly as she felt the weight of that suggestion. The weight of the question that Examon had put forward.
"I don't know the selection process of Royal knights. I really don't, I barely know anything of them or what their practices are. I don't think me being one would be possible but..."
There was a few moments where the shutmon seemed lost for words and she'd suddenly clench her fists to the point where the claws were digging into her palms.
"Jesmon. Examon. Both of them are Royal knights, beings that made me from sheer data bleed off right? They were chosen and their titles were never rescinded correct? Wouldn't that by proxy make me one? Or at least some kind of Squire? Even if that was the case how could I even.. Even accept something like that?"
This wasn't K grasping at straws, this was her just trying to make sense of what Examon seemed to be making mention of. She looked somewhat hurt and after a few moments flinched once she thought of something...
"When I was younger and still getting used the paces of it. It was hard you know? I thought it was going to be impossible to run the damn thing. But I kept going, and that town just sprouted up around it. If Examon thinks I should try for it, I should. If she thinks I should get over I should, but I can't do either without help. Without something to correct what's wrong with me; it's not something I will be able to do alone and I'm fine with that."
There was a soft pause and she'd gaze at him upon the mention of the third topic. She wouldn't speak but she gave a small nod; it must of been something that was deeply personal to the Mikemon else he wouldn't be blushing...

'Selective' was a good word for Dr. Mikemon's patients: "Most things can be handled at Whitewater Medical. Anything that comes my way generally requires my care, so its more work and its less work." He said that as if it made perfect sense, just as he got the tea on proper.
Everything else, of course, was of incredibly heavy tone - and the Shutmon's answers were understandable. K wanted to know just what she was supposed to do, to 'move on' from both losing the livelihood she had over her entire life - as well as that crushing incident in the Dark Area. "I'm not going to lie, there's no easy answer to that. As a whole, Examon's words were spoken with the tone of a ruler: large expectations with little regard for the difficulty." So long as that was clear, he would continue: "I could refer you to someone who might be able to help, but these are answers you're going to have to strive for on your own. And yes," the cat agreed, "It's going to be hard. But its for your benefit as well."
As for GraceNovamon? "I'm just the messenger, but she was a part of you to begin with. If I'm understanding Examon's tone, its less 'absorbing data for power' and more 'returning a piece back to where it belongs'. That said, I have no opinion on it one way or the other." The Mikemon added a small shrug. More interesting was the Knight's Title: "They would have been rescinded with time, I would think. My point to here was, even if you didn't have the Title, you might still be able to act it out in deed. Then again, the rules for the Knights aren't entirely clear to me either."
Still, K had a good head on her shoulders. As the Shutmon spoke once more of the inn - of the struggles of running it, and the town that eventually appeared around them - the cat's ear gave a twitch. He held on every word she had to say: "Not just the inn, but a whole town, made largely from your efforts. If nothing else, you can be proud of that - and if you can do that, I'm sure whatever you have to do going forward, you can handle as well." Grabbing a whistling teapot, the Mikemon set it off the burner, and after a few moments, would bring the tray to the table. "And of course, you won't be alone for it."
With that... well, that third point. Giving a slight sigh, the Mikemon's blush deepened, as he thought over what he wanted to say: "Well... before the Examon told me anything in confidence, she demanded to know what it was I saw in you - why I decided to go so far. After a bit of thinking, well... I told her that you were the one that made me feel a sense of purpose. Not for your ailment, but because you reminded me so much of myself. Alone, skirting off in the sides of the world... but you met that same role with a sense of compassion and care, that I had somehow forgotten over the years."
The cat sighed, not entirely sure if he was getting his point across. "At first, I just wanted to see you thrive, and succeed. You had the potential, but you chose to stay at the inn. At first I thought you were just restricting yourself, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized, that was you. And, well..." He blushed, shaking his head. "The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I would 'move the world for you'."

"I imagine so, after all they're a hospital in one of the bigger cities right?"
The shutmon shifted a little bit and watched the mikemon go through the paces of getting the tea ready. She'd rub her muzzle thoughtfully and leaned back unsure of how really to progress; her ears flicked forward and she found herself frowning again.
"Certainly expecting a lot from me but.. I suppose she's been bred into that in general ech... I suppose there really isn't an easy answer but. It's not like I don't have time on my side."
There was a soft sigh and she'd dip her head in a small nod as the Mikemon continued. He had someone that could help her, well had the potential to help her. But this was something she'd have to deal with on her own by the sounds of it. Perhaps he didn't trust them enough to do the right thing or... Perhaps he just wanted to see her do it himself. Maybe there was another reason but she had to agree with him.
"So on my own with this one so to speak. I think it's probably for the best; maybe I can find a good enough solution if I just think about it for a while."
The Shutmon felt her face pale a little bit when the Mikemon brought the tone into effect for the argument with GraceNovamon. Well more discussion than argument. There was several moments where the Shutmon didn't know how to respond to that. Drumming her fingers on the table she'd exhale slowly.
"Both are good points to make I suppose. It'll heavily come down to how the fight goes with them when it happens. Eventually we'll either see them as a part of me again or.. Well. Lord knows what else."
There was a soft sigh and the Shutmon blinked at the idea that the Titles were Rescinded with time. That'd explain a little bit as well as the Mikemon bringing out the idea she might be able to act it out in deed... Then there was the fact he didn't know the rules for the knights, or at least they weren't very clear. The question then remained.... What to do about these rules and knowing of the Titles?
"Realistically, one of the knights or Four Sovereigns would likely be able to clear up any rules or Title misunderstandings. But there in still lies the problem of finding them."
The shutmon shrugged a bit and felt her face turn a slight tint of red as the Mikemon added to the fact that She had ended up making a whole town with her efforts. She'd rub the back of her head and exhale slowly; giving him a small nod at the ending comment. She'd stare at the tray for a moment her ears flicking forward.
Silence followed suit and the Shutmon could only feel her face start to turn redder and redder. It easily would show through her fur as the Mikemon of course continued to speak. Near the end the Shutmon's ears were red beyond belief and she looked like she might just explode from sheer flush alone. She'd shift a little bit putting a hand up to her face to sort of cover it. She hadn't a clue what to say to that one. She'd open and close her mouth a few times before shifting a little bit; icy blue eyes stared at mikemon and it was obvious she was absolutely uncertain how to respond to that. The only thing she could manage was stuttered out and not very concise which was a surprise for the Shutmon...
""I. Uhm. Yes. Okay ah... Shoot..."

Of course there wasn't an easy answer, but it was also hard to know the best way for K to go about it. Some needed days, some months, and some years. Some did best by themselves, and some needed therapy to get by. At the very least, though, K knew that she had to get past this - and if the Examon's words were right, she wouldn't have all the time in the world to go about it.
"I'll help you however I can, but unfortunately psychology and the like aren't my strong suit." That admittance came with a small sigh...
As for GraceNovamon? Well, that was completely up to K, as far as the feline was concerned. "An idea I had was to banish GraceNovamon into the Sea of Blood, but that's quite a specific end to try for her. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if that fight was just avoided altogether. It might be inevitable, though, if she wants to come back for you..." Hence the prior time limit, right? Surely the Shutmon already knew a bit about it.
"And yes, a Knight would be able to tell us. One might be willing to talk to you, considering your circumstances and Jesmon's mark, but starting the conversation in a first place would be a problem..."
At any rate, K's response to the last bit... well, it was about how the cat expected. Such a suddenly intimate shift in tone brought her cheeks to a beet red, one that even extended up her ears. Such embarrassing flattery! Such sudden words of praise! The Mikemon gave a sigh, biting his tongue: "Yeah, I agree, its a bit much. But Examon wouldn't even talk to me unless I gave her a serious answer." His tone settled in, trying to think of the best way to answer.
Rather than that, though, he simply set his paw atop her's. "Take your time - we have all day, hun."

K dipped her head with a small nod at the Cat's admittance of being ill suited to psychology and the like. There was a small pause and the shutmon rubbed her muzzle thoughtfully. He couldn't help her as much as he wanted to; but that didn't mean she didn't have other resources immediately available to her.
"I appreciate it Mikemon."
She'd give him a little smile but would quirk a brow at the mention of the sea of blood. She had heard of that location maybe once before when some poor digimon was banished to it due to some crimes against luminas but... She didn't really want to think about that sort of thing. She'd grit her teeth a little bit and look at the tea.
"Hmm, if we can get her to that location sure. I don't think we'd have a problem doing it. But.. if I have to absorb her and have to deal with her. I might not get that opportunity, and there is a chance where I might end up being the banished one if we fight. I don't really know."
She'd sigh softly and nod her head slowly; he had a point there though when saying that they'd be willing considering the mark she had along with the sheer ability to turn into one.. But getting a conversation with a knight might be impossible if they couldn't find one.
"Find a guardian of the digital world to answer the rules on them or..."
The shutmon stopped for almost a full minute when she realized just how dumb she was being.
"....If the knights are chosen as eggs, they have to be in certain powerful locations or hiding themselves away in order to do their job better. But it'd be impossible to hide completely.. So they might hide in places that are difficult to reach. So if I went to one such location I might find one but.. the problem being is finding a location a knight would use."
She'd rub her muzzle thoughtfully. Though once their conversation had shifted to the tone of the third topic she was still absolutely red. So much so that her Examon form may be jealous of her red hue.
"Well.. I guess I can't be angry about it at her. I appreciate you answering so honestly."
When Mikemon set his paw on top of hers she'd give him a small smile, trying to still her beating 'heart' from just how hard it felt like ti was pounding. Then he said something that just... clicked with her. She'd stare at him for a few moments and then after a minute or two she'd exhale slowly.
"...You're right we do have all day. But I think I.. I think I know what I can do. You said I needed time, she said that I needed to re-orientate myself. What does both at the same time? What takes up a lot of time but allows you to think?"

And really, who could know? GraceNovamon, at this point, was a powerful opponent beyond the cat's comprehension. Would the fight against such a being even take place on the surface? Could they even lure her to the Dark Area at all, or would she have one of the cities in mind as her target? "In that line, I wish I knew anything about it. All I know is that, for the moment, you have two cores quite familiar with dealing with her - so much so that they've spent the last thousand years doing so. If anyone knows how to deal with such an opponent..."
'The answer was already inside of her'? Somehow that seemed just a little convenient, but it was the best the cat could think of. Finally pouring two fresh mugs of tea, the feline's ear gave a twitch as the Shutmon spoke of finding a Knight. "Hm... if they must be hidden, look where things that are hidden must be? I have to agree, I highly doubt they're trying to hide a leaf in a forest or anything like that. Even then, they may have their own guards and followers. Unless you manage to find the current Jesmon, or potentially Examon, I doubt they'd even give you the time of day."
Unfortunately, that was Mikemon's experience with the Knights... and as that third topic rolled along, well, the tea between them would have quite a long time to cool, as both the Shutmon and Mikemon mulled over their answers. As she finally settled on that comment, the cat gave a nod. "Mm. Its something we'll have to talk about down the line." There was way too much going on at the moment to have a proper conversation about it.
But - finally - something seemed to finally settle in the Shutmon's head. Taking a sip of the cooled tea, the feline's ear twitched at her thought - and it didn't take long for the cat to give an answer. "... Meditation? Hm... its already proven effective at letting you choose a Knight..."
Indeed, it could work. "Its something you can start once your data's clear enough to operate without error. That said, you might want to practice stabilizing yourself as a Renamon." Why? "Maintaining your Ultimate form might seem second nature to you, but even burning energy by focusing can end up putting quite a strain on your stamina. It may also take quite a bit of time..."
That said, the cat gave a sigh, mulling it over - before looking up with a smirk! "Well! That aside, if you do end up settling on that, how would you want to spend next few days in civilization?"

K let out a soft sigh, she didn't like thinking about the GraceNovamon really. How they were more overbearing than Examon had been and had even threatened to end her completely. Even with the choice of another digivolution the Examon had eventually relented... It made it quite difficult to understand what the GraceNovamon had really been after with what they attempted.
"Then I should talk to them, formulate a plan with what they do know. Hopefully it'll be something good."
There was a few moments that passed rather uneventful. She'd gingerly accept the tea as he had handed them out; mulling over what he had said for a few moments. He was unfortunately right so that meant that she had to search in such a way that would lead her to the massive dragon or the white clad knight. With a tut she'd nod her head.
"[/b]You have a point with that. Yes. We shall have to talk about it if you are... as committed to the two of us. Makes me feel like I'm not the one doing anything hah![/b]"[/color]
The shutmon snickered a little bit and shifted just a bit; gingerly sipping at the tea. She'd raise her eyebrows slightly at the taste and get a wolfish grin when Mikemon quickly picked up what she had suggested basically. What he followed with however also made sense; her lower form wouldn't be draining in the least; she wouldn't have any problem controlling it and she'd be the most comfortable with it.
"You're incredibly quick on your feet Mikemon. Good solid advice if I ever heard it."
She'd had to agree with him and she'd reach across to gently rub behind one of the cat's ear before tending ot her tea.
"I wouldn't mind it at least, It'd do me some good to learn about whitewater if It's going to be my home in the future. As well as spend some time with you of course!"
