"Welcome back viewers!" Bellamy spoke to the microphone in the commentary box. "And here we are with our second match of the Loser Bracket! As we know, this is the second chance of those who didn't make it in the last round to stay in the game!" "Without further ado, let's introduce them! From the East wing, we have the dazzling solo digimon Cion!" Luke said. "And from the West wing, we have the highly renown K!" Bellamy continued. "When both fighters are ready, let the match begin!"
Rules are as follows. 1. Post within a week of it being your turn, otherwise you will concede the match to the other player. 2. Do not kill your opponent, aim to knock them out. 3. No digivolving beyond what your opponent is capable of. 4. This match is non-canon, so don't worry about where this is in your characters' stories. 5. Please don't attack on your first post. This post is meant for introductions. You may begin the fight on your 2nd post. I have rolled a dice, and it seems K has the first move. Cion @k

By all rights she shouldn't be here, walking through this hallway. She shouldn't be clapped on the back for her attempt at fighting another individual that just ended so frustratedly.
The shutmon gritted her teeth as she walked through the hallways leading up to the entry to the Coliseum. Her last fight had gone overall poorly once she had lost the speed advantage along with any semblence of flight. But this time would be different.
Her mobility had improved drastically since that last fight, her knowledge and flow of battle had shifted. Ultimately it had taught her important pieces of herself and that sometimes all she needed to do was rush in.
There were some times that she needed to think too, it was a healthy balance if maintained ultimately would make her a better fighter. The shutmon however when waiting just outside of where the fans could see her.... punched the wall, the barrier that was protecting the structure flared for a moment in the localized area and with a soft growl she'd admit to herself something needed to change.
"I will be stronger."
She growled and found herself walking further down the hallway without another thought or statement. Her stark white fur glistened in the light as she entered in, cloak billowing behind her as she approached what would be the center. The announcers giving her opponent some form of praise saying that they were a dazzling solo digimon.
Did that mean that they fought in a flashy manner or did that mean something else? She couldn't place it either, but she felt like she should know the name Cion. Perhaps later she'd look it up, there might just be some news of her somewhere.
Then of course she was praised as highly renowned. The Shutmon stopped herself for a moment, put a hand to her face to hide the blush that was there for a few long moments before coughing awkwardly. She'd cast a glance at the commentary box; quirking an eyebrow. What did they even mean by that? She was no one special.
Whenever the other would enter, k of course would give a deep bow. Sweeping either hands to the side to show her lack of ill intent. The cloak still billowing behind her in a gentle fashion.
"My name is K as you've heard, I'll be your opponant today. Is there any form you would like to use immediately, or should we go for gold?"

Huh... she had actually done it. Considering Lilithmon's disruptive and venomous abilities, she had not given herself much of a chance to attain victory. After all, Cion was a digimon who could easily support allies and disrupt enemies, and negate a lot of incoming damage, but she was not well prepared to encounter another being with a similar way of approaching an opponent. It had been a strenuous task, but in the end her stamina and agility had enabled her to prevail by exploiting the comparatively low health of her previous combatant. It had been a challenging spectacle of finesse and grace, that was for sure.
Her win however meant that this was not the conclusion of her temporary career as a gladiator of sorts. On one hand, this allowed her to further bring glory and renown to herself and the organization she belonged to which hosted this tournament in the first place - P.R.O.F.I.T. - one of her new purposes in life. She took pride and a sense of success in this, but it also meant that another joyous responsibility of hers had to be delayed once more. Nevertheless, once all of this was over, she'd personally make sure that Logan got his Whopper with fries.
As Cion entered the stage for a third time, she was again in her Ultimate form - the CyberSagitamon; with her futuristic bow at hand. The reason why she was in this state was because of the information she had of her upcoming adversary. Next to her name, which was simply K, the vulpine soldier knew only of her most common form being Shutmon, which was a digimon of the aforementioned level. A fierce and swift kind of warrior... hmm... if nothing else, the imminent clash would be another great challenge. The experience alone was worth it; victory or loss.
Approaching her in the middle of the arena, K soon turned out to have delightful manners. Considering it an honor, the CyberSagitamon carried a genuine smile as she too bowed to her to show respect, trust and the wish for sportsmanship. "A pleasure to meet you. I am Cion - as you have heard." She introduced herself with a brief chuckle before taking in a deep breathing, listening to her current rival's considerations.
"I'm not picky. I've heard you're most comfortable as an Ultimate, hence I adapted to that. But if you wish to... entertain the spectators more... I'd be happy to oblige." She responded kindly with her mature, slightly synthetic, feminine voice. They were of utmost genuineness, which was of course expected from a digimon of her story and general alignment. She was not here to become some sort of champion, or to attain great wealth. She was already sufficiently renowned as a member of a great organization, and had enough bits at her disposal to be content - which basically meant taking adequate care of her beloved family - especially the wittle cutiepie-Offmon Logan.

The arrival of the other and the introduction of the other were pretty standard, rather pleasant and only made K a little happier with the fact that she had taken the time to be as polite as she could with someone she was about to fight with. K felt her brows raise in surprise as the other had heard that she was most comfortable in her ultimate form. The shutmon dipped her head in a nod at this as she had very little problem maintaining it's energy now that she had achieved an even higher form. Upon hearing that they were okay with 'entertaining' the spectators more? The shutmon let out a small but someone marvelous chuckle. She liked the idea of fighting this digimon more and more; there wasn't going to be any bad feelings at the end any way you went about it. "This is what a coliseum is for isn't it? Entertaining the spectators? I appreciate the idea of adhering to a form I'm comfortable with; but I think we should let them see what we're capable of."She didn't have a clue what the masses thought of her, how she got renowned or if anyone here cared that she was a part of a human world based organization. She wasn't even in it for the bits much as she had heard the reward would be well worth it. The shutmon stepped back a bit, giving the other plenty of room for the moment. She'd give the other a gentle smile before allowing her equally if not more gentle light to engulf her body. It creeped along her form slowly at first but rapidly picked up speed the closer it got to her center. Once engulfed her form would nearly triple in size, arms elongated, legs stiffened, warped, and twisted into something far more grandiose. Most of her form in the shutmon digivolution had been sleek and stylish; while this was certainly true about her super mega it held little back in form of restraint of curvature. When the light broke, her exaggerated proportions and hard comparisons between this form with the last were even more apparent. Now rather than fur covering the beast head to toe, even under the armor. All you could see was the white holy plate of Jesmon's arsenal, her golden claws and holy swords slowly slipping out of massive wrist holsters. The cloak that had been adorning her shutmon form billowed out to match the twenty foot tall super mega. It barely touched the ground as the super mega stood tall, letting her opponent measure her as she saw fit, her tail lashed behind her now with a semblance of control. She was the least suited to this form, she had never used it in actual combat but the amount of power that radiated from it was magnificent. For a brief moment it looked as though the being was going to do something rash, but instead it just gave another bow. Sweeping it's cloak in such a way that made it flutter with anticipation with the end. "This form is called Jesmon; but one as well traveled as you no doubt are would likely already be aware of that. I look forward to fighting you in this form, or any other following suit." Shutmon has digivolved to Jesmon!Digivolution theme

"Splendid." The CyberSagitamon responded concisely yet with utmost appreciation and pleasant anticipation in her voice. Truth be told this was the first time she would ever witness another digimon of the Super Mega level aside from herself - at least in this incarnation of her core. Cion had forgotten how it was to behold such an incredibly powerful entity, and the way it felt its radiating energy engulfing oneself. But from where she stood that was perfectly fine, as it would make the upcoming experience a truly unique, fantastical one. From a small distance, the vulpine sentinel watched as K underwent her graceful transformation, shifting from a rather slender form into a titanic warrior in armor plate forged out of radiant, silver digizoid. Golden and cyan highlights adorned the massive, empyreal figure that was the Jesmon, as much as its respectable red cape. Her amicable rival had transformed into a true guardian of all that was good, even if she did not quite realize that. Then again, considering what a pleasantly kind soul K was, perhaps she did. After all, the mercenary of P.R.O.F.I.T. did not know much of her except her delightful manners. "Indeed. Your form is familiar, but marvelous regardless." Cion spoke in composed awe, savoring both the sight and the incredible sensations she emitted. Although enrapt, the futuristic soldier of course kindly returned the bow as a gesture of mutual respect and sportsmanship. It had become enjoyably clear that neither of them was here solely to reap a reward. No - the two of them had the desire to relish the lamplight of this Colosseum and to entertain the thousands of spectators. They likely had different reasons for this drive, but the outcome was the same. Everyone was having fun, including the combatants. Including herself...With a rapt smile, Cion briefly got engulfed in white light before it shattered, leaving behind only her signature state of an Arnamon, which was a digimon of the Rookie level. Without showing any care in the digital world, the small being turned away from the gargantuan paladin, humming a gentle and quiet melody. After a moment or two though, something about her... got twisted and left behind - literally. An oily blur, purple and ragged in its shape lingered, standing perfectly still while she kept on moving. A second appeared a few steps later, lavender, fuzzy and smaller than any other entity on the battlefield. Of the Arnamon itself was not much left other than a silvery framework of binary code and polygons, but that was of no concern to her. She and her living shadows tilted their heads to her adversary, 6 eyes of 3 lives of 1 soul regarding the magnificent fighter. Experiences of uncountable centuries faced K, in the vulpine digimon's current form, the haze of an Impmon and another species lost to repeated palingenesis. Despite a Jesmon's tremendous might, it was only serenity and a hint of curiosity with which she was looked upon - but dread no since a long time. Fully turning to face her, it was in a visible, translucent pulse that the three shapes rapidly collided into one another, briefly forming the platinum critter some knew as her restrained apex-stage. It was so simple in its appearance, so unassuming and to some endearing in its purity, but within resided a symphony of power which served all those who sought peace and prosperity. Violently, the suppressed Arniomon's body burst apart and shattered into streams of data with only a multicolored core lingering which could be seen beating alive and well. For it took a mere second before it got engulfed in radiant incandescence as the ethereal, unleashed Arniomon rose upwards, its hunkered, diminutive 'body' meeting the Jesmon eye to eye despite it barely being one eighth of her size. But it was clear from the expression within her elysian, golden eyes that this was no reason for trepidation to Cion. Slowly assuming a more adequate stance in her levitation, she took in a quiet breath before throwing her arms outwards in a cautious display of might. Since as she did so, the tiny vessel which contained her burning passion flared up like a solar flare, which also ushered in the manifestation of her aureate, cosmic neck-pelt and tail. They too blazed up to unimaginable size, nebulae of stars and galaxies engulfing the entirety of the stadium. Yet it did not hurt anyone, and merely allowed those interested to behold the cosmos, if only for a short moment, from up close. In the end, all it took was another breath for the spectacle to end, leaving behind Cion in her ascended, transcended state of existence. However - she had not changed, as it was with unquestionable comity that she looked upon K, looking forward to grasp what the royal warrior was capable of - for it was their wish to make this a battle for the ages.

K had to admit she was a bit nervous even in super mega form; it would be the first real time that she would fight in it but she had to admit that it was going to be a good excersize for her. She would take any knowledge of battle here and move forward hoping to keep it close to her heart.
After all what else would put a super mega through the paces than another super mega? There was a few moments after her digivolution where Cion spoke to her and even shared with her the bow that the Jesmon had made. There was no reason not to be polite before the fight started, she highly doubted that there would be any talking between them when they got going other than calling out names of their attacks of course.
The massive super mega shifted a bit and rubbed the side of their helmeted head watching the other digimon in the ring with undivided attention. Her transformation was marvelous; even if her form was diminutive the power that she could feel from it was what you would expect from a super mega tier digimon.
Her display was gorgeous enough to stop the Jesmon for a few moments, tilting their head as they had never seen anything like it. The Jesmon's eyes burned with a soft passion of desire to both fight and an eerie level of respect. It must of taken quite the journey to get to such a point. After this battle perhaps she'd have to have a chat with the other? Not on the battle itself no, but of the journey they had gone through.
"I cannot say I've ever seen a digimon such as you, earlier form or not. Truly a one of a kind if I may say so. Marvelous as our forms may be; we still came here for the same reason."
The jesmon made another gesture, softly and without any malice. Around her soft petals of a blue hue slowly started to come into being around her. There was roughly around a thousand of them and all they did was circle around the massive entity... But the intent was clear, their fight was just about to start.
"The full name of this move is Blades of the Faithful, Odin's flock. You'll be seeing quite a bit of it in this upcoming battle I assure you."
Setting herself up was important and being polite about it was also important. She was very excited to see what this tiny super mega could do in comparison to her; she had never seen one before so suffice to say this would be something she'd recall fondly for a long time...
Blades of The Faithful, Odin's Flock: This attack summons up what could be considered at the most a thousand or so of tiny blades, represented by petals of a blue hue. Without direction these blades do nothing but circle around their host. It can be considered dangerous to touch them without being the host itself as they are sharp beyond belief. This move itself does not have a cool down, but the blades cannot operate outside of a fifty foot radius. Naturally they cannot fill this whole space and are usually spread out to avoid too much trouble.

The air within the stadium was flickering heat, but it were neither antagonism nor a zest for battle which caused this phenomenon to occur. It was passion under mutual respect with which both digimons of the Super Mega faced one another after their digivolution, showing understanding and amicability towards eath other. They were not hostile to each other - they were not rivals - they were simply two powerful entities of grace and fervor who wished to test their might and provide a spectacle to the spectators unlike any seen before.
And the idea that K would become a true friend once this match was over was, to say the least, delightful to Cion.
"That is not surprising. I've been trying to be the architect of my fate ever since my first days. Or maybe I'm simply a one-of-a-kind specimon. But you too are inimitable Jesmon - few of which I've seen throughout centuries." She responded kindly, her echoing voice like the soothing choir of benevolent spirits, sophisticated and compassionate. As for the radiant paladin's final statement, all the cosmic beast did was nodding approvingly, although she remained composed and did not assume an appropriate stance for combat. First, she longed to see what her opponent had at her disposal.
Cion beheld the azure pedals with contained inquisitiveness, watching them gently circle the titanic warrior in armor plates as if she was the center of a galaxy surrounded by a thousand blue stars. Marvelous had indeed been a fitting way of describing their forms, and far was it from the Arniomon to not continue their awe-inspiring performance. "A mouthful, but I'll keep it in mind." Was her sincere answer, which was followed by a short chuckle. It had not been meant as an insult, for as the elysian sentinel merely had quite a pronounced sense of whimsical humor.
Appreciating K's attitude and agreeing with her point of view that both politeness and a sufficient set-up were vital to a good life and fight alike, the time had for the vulpine guardian to make her entrance. Gently throwing her arms outward yet again, it was as if reality shifted in front of their very eyes to oblige to Cion's will. Gray pavement, the grass surrounding it and even the walls of the grandstand lost their texture - instead glowing white as streams of binary code whizzed freely; the same way her semi-crystalline right arm got engulfed by the flowing veins of raw data.
"And this is a digital... Garden of Eden. For the virtuous are blessed within while adversaries, unfortunately including you this once, are bereft of serenity and instead receive retribution for trespassing. Not that you could move away without forfeiting victory - but... you'll see what I mean in due time." The Arniomon explained calmly as an iridescent, mostly translucent aura manifested itself around her in the shape of heavy armor. Though weightless and incorporeal, it served its purpose regardless for as long as this now primordial entity resided inside its fleeting kingdom - and for as long as it existed.
"As for seeing something quite a bit in this upcoming battle... same to you." The astral warden stated quietly, blinking before an ethereal javelin got conjured through force of will alone by her side. Immediately, it got launched like a cosmic flash of lightning towards the Jesmon's left leg, increasing in size while traveling as to adapt to the gigantic knight's size.
The clash had begun - and it was clear that everyone looked forward to it, including the combatants.

This was the sort of battle that K would likely enjoy, the sort where you didn't fight just to fight. Not the sort that you fought for a reason other than to test oneself. They had no desires to fight for whatever prize was at the end of all this; though to some that might feel as what their motivation would be.
It remained to be seen if they would be friends after this, but she saw no reason they wouldn't be really...
"Both wouldn't be far off from the truth I suspect. Unfortunately I'm the only jesmon that I've seen in my long span of time alive."
The Jesmon shifted a bit and inspected her rival more from a combative point of view. They were small, they likely had speed on their side and would do well to keep up witht he blade rotations she had. So of course her only real option was to use them to gauge her reaction speeds for later in the battle when things waned. Her response however upon hearing the name only made the Jesmon chuckle softly.
"Normally I just call it Odin's Flock. But that is it's full name which you deserve to hear."
The jesmon felt her brow raise as the other assumed a stance of summoning. The jesmon inspected the area as the other digimon worked their power on the area. She'd tut softly as she noted that it reached even the stands. If it did something she didn't like there was no getting out of it. It was somewhat surprising to see such a large zone affected by this but... They were super mega's after all.
"A zone in your favor then; Garden of Eden seems a very fitting name."
The shifting of aura and coding that manifested itself as armor only served to make the jesmon shift it's stance from the more passive one she had adopted during their conversation to a more guarded one.
"Bird's of a feather then; not unsurprising but certainly welcome."
There was a soft chuckle before the Jesmon shifted one of her golden claws. Gesturing for the petals to make their move. With her leg being struck quickly by that strange Javelin the knight only grunted in response to it. She had lost the intitive but that was fine; they were both durable after all.
"Valhalla's Covenant."
The name and gesture that she made only served to make the blades still their wandering and immediately leap forward in a small tidal wave of blue. While this would be their first attack out of many this meant their control was far better than their speed. Something that would change slowly over the course of this battle.
Battle log
Passive -OathSworn: Any Virus Type deals 30% less damage to this digimon.
-Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead.
-Hero's Mantle: While worn this digimon takes less damage than normal. This cloak can be given to other individuals and they are granted the same boon. When removed The host takes damage as normal. For the first post that this cloak is given, the one that is granted this boon cannot be damage in any way but also cannot do anything that would impart damage, status effects or mobility uses. However this effect cannot be given to the host itself as their body is acclimated to the cloak.
Move: -Blades of the Faithful, Valhalla's Covenant: This move orders the blades to attack anyone that may be within the fifty foot radius of the host. For each successive attack they get a little faster, but they get harder to control and spread out. Making them deal less damage.
Enemy Move: -Successful strike of Initial Etheral Javelin.
Activation: -Valhalla's Regeneration.
Cool Downs: - Valhalla's Regeneration [0/1]
Ability Duration: -Valhalla's Regeneration [0/3]

She was the only Jesmon she had witnessed throughout the years she had existed? Was K not a digimon of wanderlust, or how did she manage to overlook everyone who shared the same line of digivolution? It was bizarre to say the least, even with these paladins being quite a rarity... but so be it. It was of no great importance, and compared to the clash at hand even less so. Seeing how virtuous the Arniomon's temporary rival was in combat, how she mustered strength through determination and fervor... now that on the other hand peaked Cion's interest.
Chuckling once at the idea that she deserved anything at all for reasons beyond her. the cosmic beast granted her opponent a few moments to behold the elysian zone she had conjured. And the holy knight was right, for it was a sanctuary meant to harbor the righteous and victims, and a realm of exasperation and trepidation for those who sought to trespass. Remaining outside or inside - both had their disadvantages for adversaries. As for the Jesmon, unless surrendering to the rules of the tournament, she had no other choice but to be an invader.
"I like friends flocking together." Cion calmly stated to the other female combatant, aware of this classic rhyme. Speaking of which, the first javelin had struck the steel warrior - the first of a bevy's many. Naturally, K adapted to that with the impetus to counter the Arniomon's swift initiative with an ability of her own. Beholding the large fighter in front of her, the vulpine manifestation of life force knew that this battle was going to be one of great attrition. Both of them possessed strong defenses and ways to dwindle away at each other with a steady pace.
Fathoming that the wave of swords was attempting to drown her in a surge of razor-sharp edges, Cion nodded and snapped the fingers of her 'Source Arm'. In an instant, a stream of data overlayed the translucent armor her radiant zone provided, serving as an excellent barrier which shielded her further. Without moving as much as an inch, she allowed the billow of blades to do as they pleased. They could try their best to penetrate her personal bulwark for all she cared, but it would be like yokels with pitchforks attempting to demolish a fortress' rampart.
Calm and collected as so often, Cion rested her arms behind her back, incandescent flames and golden, primordial energies moving in a perpetual dance around and through her core's semi-incorporeal vessel. It was silent will alone that utilized residual power to manifest a second ethereal javelin, this time dashing through the tidal waves of swords towards the Jesmon's right knee. And it was at this very moment that the Garden of Eden fed of K's stamina in a sudden, violent rip to her very spirit. It was a price the Arniomon gladly allowed an opponent to pay, for her temporary barrier reaped spoils of attrition.
Battle Log:
Passive: - Numen Aeternum: Reduced Physical Strength - Increased Maximum Health, Defenses and Pain Threshhold.
Move: - Cion uses 'Kistem Blessing' in combination with Combat-Passive Ability 'Adrasteia's Embrace' to shield herself against grave damage - 'Garden of Eden' activates, draining K's stamina to empower Cion's sustain. - Cion utilizies Combat-Passive Ability 'Elysian Sanction'.

K shifted a little bit feeling somewhat uncertain how the other took her statement of beign the only jesmon that she had seen. Perhaps they had seen many of her ilk over the span of their life. She didn't know them too terribly well but one thing was certain; no jesmon had ever come into her inn or came through the town that she had once lived in. She tilted her head a little bit watching her 'opponent' carefully, examining her every move; wishing to understand the individual that was on the other side of the field from her.
Her simple completion of the rhyme only got the Jesmon to raise her eyebrows somewhat. She wasn't expecting that little quip but she wasn't about to lower her guard. They were going to be in the midst of quite a battle now. She'd take a few steps forward gauging her opponent still; watching her movements like a hawk.
They quickly nodded and snapped a finger, instantly a reaction occured and a stream of data overlayed the translucent armor that she was 'equipped' with. It simply blocked the attack of her blades; making them simply inconsequential to the small Vulpine. The jesmon jerked her head and snorted as she felt the second Javelin smash into her knee. The large knight looked down at the implanted projectile and tutted; she could feel another effect of either this garden she was in or the Javelin.
The jesmon looked at one of her hands, quirking a brow as she could tell that the golden hand was shaking slightly. A stamina draining move of some form it seemed? That simply wouldn't do. She didn't really have the option at the moment to employ her Saberk or any of the other moves without draining herself further. But thankfully her Valhalla's Covenant was still up and running. The 'flower blades' responded just as they had before, if not slightly faster. A simple flick of the finger and they would attempt to cut at the Vulpine again. She didn't really have to call out her move at this time as she had already announced it earlier; they would know what it would do. They knew what was coming; so she would hope that they would understand that there was also no hard feelings from the constant motion of these blades attempting to engulf her.
She could already feel her regeneration taking care of the damage caused by the javelins. They weren't enough on their own to tackle it and that was a small blessing at the moment. She didn't want too many of these things to get lodged into her; it was getting slightly harder to move and she could feel them pulsating with energy.

Calmly, Cion watched as many of the Jesmon's blades ricocheted away from her when they struck her empowered, translucent barrier she had conjured to defend herself against them. However, to her surprise, they did not vanish, like ordinary abilities. It appeared they were an inherent part of the powerful paladin in front of her, which meant she had to watch out for the perpetual threat of a sudden assault or ambush. One thing was for sure, this battle was going to be a hell of a 'dance' for the both of them, but then again that was probably what made it so enjoyable in the first place.
Counting 2 ethereal javelins having hit K, the cosmic beast wondered why her opponent still utilized such a basic skill that was her Valhalla's Covenant. Of course it served its purpose as a rather bothersome area of effect attack, but it was not naive to rely on this common move - relatively speaking? Narrowing her golden, divine eyes, a thousand thoughts began to flare up within her mind, curious of the scheme the gracious knight was pursuing. Saving strength - luring her into a fall sense of security - or perhaps causing confusion and rash overeagerness? Untypical for a proud warrior, but not unheard of.
Taking in a deep breath, the air around her incandescent paws contorted as if it was torn asunder by unseen yet omnipresent forces. Allowing herself to be struck by Jesmon's swords, something that was not too painful thanks to her protective sanctuary shielding her, she gathered as much power from her core as possible in this short span of time. Briefly bellowing, Cion eventually pushed her limbs outward with great sway, releasing all accumulated energy in a violent burst that broke the pavement beneath her. However, it was not her who was the center of this unleashed might over reality.
Within a second, a glaring flash appeared in front of the large, gallant fighter's eyes, until it rapidly ruptured into a lasting distortion around K. Random shifts in gravity, some weak while others imposed unimaginable weight, pulled and crushed the limbs of the Arniomon's adversary - at least that was what the vulpine sentinel desired. Snaring her, weakening her resistance, creating attrition with a third ethereal javelin direct at her chest... so simple in its idea yet often difficult in its execution. It was unfortunate that it brought so much collateral damage with it, shredding the arena's floor into debris and dispersing it, but that was in the end acceptable.
How would her new friend and temporary rival respond? Pleasant anticipation was definitely the way the ancient warden looked forward to it.

The blades were doing very little against that barrier that the other super mega summoned. She shouldn't be surprised as it looked rather strong and her blades sort of followed the idea of quantity over quality. All this attack allowed her was consistency of strikes along with commanding an impressive distance between her and her opponents. The jesmon could tell that all her blades were doing was small bits of damage at best if any at all. She'd briefly consider waiving the attack off completely but if she kept the pressure going the other digimon would be forced to act drastically eventually.
She desired to study her opponent, learn what they were capable of and what they would do in this fight. She had a huge assortment of moves to choose from and abilities that she could boast about if she so desired. If she was even the type to really boast about her ability. The Jesmon rubbed it's chin thoughtfully, watching Cion carefully. She couldn't act rashly; she couldn't allow this smaller opponent to have the run of her.
The Knight's brows furrowed a little bit as she saw the sudden shift in the air around the incandescent paws. Her swords striking true during this but if anything they were paltry to what it seemed the other was summoning. The shifting in their posture and stance made the Jesmon ready herself to see what was going to come from this. Her stance didn't change all to much, but she certainly was ready to move if she needed to.
However the moment that that the other pushed her limbs outwards, and released that violent energy right underneath the knight. That glaring Flash that appeared in front of her was met with an instant response.
She had no desire to be hit by this move whatever it was going to do to her. Within a moment the Jesmon simply vanished from the location of the attack. Of course this meant that the Third Ethereal Javelin missed her as well.
The location that the Jesmon chose was of course behind Cion. A few if not necessary feet away to give a comfortable but much needed zone of engagement. K shifted slightly but rather than attacking she'd look that zone over with curiosity more than anything else. She'd even deign to speak; feeling that she didn't need to attack her rival from behind as that would be ill suited to someone of their collective stature.
"A spectacular and powerful move, one that I can say that I would not want to be in the middle of. What's is the name of it?"
The jesmon gently ran one of it's blades against the ground in front of it, creating a small line between the two of them. Answer or not she wouldn't attack her opponent for the time being. The blades that had been attacking her just a bit ago were now gently circling around cion.
Battle Log
Passive Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health.
Move: Valhalla's Corridor: This digimon may teleport great distances out of combat as well as near infinitely. Within Combat the concentration required is much higher, making it able to only manage up to One hundred feet and only every two posts regardless if it had taken damage or not. Blades of the Faithful Dissipate and must be re-summoned if the host teleports out of their range.
Enemy Move: -Natural Law Break has been avoided by Use of Valhalla's Corridor -The third Etheral javelin has been avoided [2 Lodged]
Active Personal Effect -Valhalla's Regeneration
Cool Downs: -Valhalla's Regeneration [0/1] -Valhalla's Coridor [0/2]

"Oh?" Cion let out with a hint of curiosity, astonished to see that the large Jesmon had the ability to shift through space-time as well. It was atypical for a gargantuan warrior such as K, but coming to think about it for a second was it truly that surprising. Titanic or not, the radiant paladin was still a digimon of the Super Mega level, just like the unleashed Arniomon. The trinity of might, savvy and swiftness was theirs to embody to different extents and manifestations. And since few of the comic beasts abilities required to strike a target directly, it was not too much of an annoyance.
Noticing the air behind her changing, it was with a calm stance the lingered in midair, turning around to behold the surge of her opponent's blades having ceased to assault her for a moment - not to mention her temporary rival as well. As always delighted to know the other combatant being a fighter of honor, Cion too did not immediately continue their clash for glory and monetary gain, allowing her adversary to speak unhinderedly. "Thank you. Few do. As for the name, Natural Law Break - for obvious reasons." The vulpine entity explained placidly yet tight-lippedly, not wishing to pause the spectacle for the spectators for too long.
Her golden eyes followed the slow movement of K's swords circling her, almost as if she was the eye of their storm and their prey at the same time. Sighing, the Arniomon was of course disappointed to grasp that her most recent efforts had in vain, losing the advantage of taking the Jesmon by surprise. A change of plan towards brute force was perhaps adequate? Not quite yet however, for her third ethereal javelins had failed to bind itself to her target, too. Fortunately, her patience seldom waned.
Clearing her throat, she stretched out her 'source-arm' toward the vigilant knight, binary code and primordial forces perpetually dancing in the ballad of life. "Please don't consider this uncomplimentary, but since you have utilized a talent of yours - the teleporation - it's only fair that I recommence our enjoyable contest." She easygoingly justified her reinitialization of the battle at hand. Granting the fair lady a short moment to ready herself, a violent pulse suddenly erupted from her outstretched arm.
Growling thunder echoed throughout the arena as large flashes of elementary power dashed like thunderbolts towards the giant sentinel. Yet as so often, they were of a elysian radiance, glowing in the many colors of the core elements that were the essence of digital existence - the most prominent being fire, water, wind, thunder, light and darkness. Expectedly each bolt was bound to harm the digizoid-clad warrior in a different way, but how was not upon the conjurer to decide.
Naturally, another ethereal javelin followed suit swiftly, but this time the empyreal warden saw it necessary to move. Although not an instantaneous transmission of matter and energy, her dash nonetheless briefly turned Cion into not much more than a golden blur which suddenly halted in the remnants of the singularity that had failed to accomplish its task. Some seconds to adapt to her enemy's blades was hopefully all she needed to regain control.

Many digimon didn't have the ability to teleport. They favored other abilities more or had something else develop along the way that would replace such a move. For a Jesmon it'd be something out of the norm wouldn't it? Something that they likely wouldn't be able to do; as it seemed from what she was told they tended to be a little more forward and had pure striking moves. So perhaps with that bit of surprise would come the guard she so expected from having a match such like this.
The Jesmon shifted just a little bit, taking in the Arniomon briefly. Their form was still something that they had never seen; no digimon she could think of looked or handled anything like they did. It was honestly something that she didn't want to have to fight for the first time. There was simply too many unknowns for her and that's simply why she deigned to take a more cautious approach for this battle.
"I bet that is certainly the case. Valhalla's Corridor is the name of that teleportation. It's quite useful."
The Jesmon shifted just a bit and watched her opponent for a moment before slowly starting to move. Not towards the other, but simply to the side as her swords continued their circling motion. What would the other do now that they had missed with such a spectacular move?
The jesmon's eyes narrowed just slightly when the other's 'source-arm' was stretched out towards her. There was a slight pause in her step and the large knight like digimon knew that she didn't want to get hit by whatever was coming by next. So far this combatant had been on a vastly different level than the ones that she had fought in an earlier round.
"Of course. Some could call this stalling but I would simply say it's for pleasantaries."
The re-initialization of the battle was swift. As the other ended off on a really strong note; the violent pulse that suddenly erupted from their arm was met with a visible shift in body stature and the knight quickly found herself staring at something she wasn't even sure the make up of.
Multiple elements lashed out towards her; they looked very dangerous and was not something she wanted to be on the receiving end of. There was a quick but natural call of her blades to come to her which was followed by the Jesmon trying to jump out of the way!
K didn't manage to get completely out of the way and was met with a large portion of the elemental thunderbolts. Those bloody javelins that the other had on her were slowing her reaction times it seemed! There was a harsh grunt of pain and the knight was thrown back but easily righted herself.
There was a quick moment of self assessment that lead her to learn she was somewhat lighter on her right side. A large portion of armor had been blown clear and her right arm was dangling uselessly because of it. Rather than use her blades to heal that she'd let the last remnants of her regeneration handle the damage to the flesh that lay underneath while using her left arm to draw a shimmering sword from nothingness. It took maybe a moment before the Jesmon pulled her arm back and threw the summoned blade straight at where Cion was. Even if her bodily reactions were slowed because of these javelins she could still strike this with Saberk.
Regardless if the blade hit or not, the blade would snap out of existence and re-appear in her hand once more. The energy it possessed crackling with barely controlled fury.
The Jesmon's eyes trailed down her own form for a brief second to see the third Javelin lodged quite firmly in her. With a soft exhalation she'd jerk her head up and spin the blade around for a moment while Odin's flock was now circling around the Knight.

Passive Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. Move: Saberk of Time and Space: A blade considered most holy, may strike where the host deigns. It may leap great distances as both travel time and space between doesn't matter. Sight of a target is required to strike. May be used Indefinitely but while in use... Blades of the Faithful can only be used as an Aegis. The damage of Saberk-OTAS is incredibly high when close and loses much power when used to strike at afar.
-K has used Saberk OTAS to attempt a strike at Cion!
Active effect: Blades of The Faithful, Odin's Flock: This attack summons up what could be considered at the most a thousand or so of tiny blades, represented by petals of a blue hue.
-These blades are circling around K currently, deigning to do nothing for the meantime.
Enemy Move: -Elemental Discreation has hit dealing a high amount of damage to K's right arm rendering it useless for the moment. -The third Etheral javelin has struck home! [3 Lodged]
Cool Downs: -Valhalla's Regeneration [0/1] -Valhalla's Coridor [1/2]

Cion had not been able to refrain from chuckling upon hearing the name of K's ability to shift through space-time. It was clear as day that the vigilant paladin was going by a Nordic theme, but did literally every active power of her had to include the title 'Valhalla'? It was probably just coincidence and hyperbolic, but it was amusing nevertheless. Then again, who was the Arniomon complain as somehow who termed most of her talents after primordial forces, such as time, space, fate, fortune and alike? For the elysian sentinel, it was as fitting as her opponent's labels for her bellicose might.
Smiling due to the honorable knight's courteous response, the cosmic beast commenced with her attack before rapidly dashing backwards as to intentionally create distance between the two combatants. Watching the results of her elemental assault, a faint grin formed itself on the vulpine warden's muzzle, happy to know that the sway of discreation, and her ethereal javelin, had struck her temporary rival with almost full effect. Still floating midair while an empyreal aura gently veiled her incorporeal form, a sense of pride and accomplishment filled her soul with glee in realization that she was doing quite well.
Giving K a moment to grasp the damage of her armor and body, Cion was honestly surprised to see her adversary recklessly launching an advance at her. For a supposedly sagacious paragon, she certainly had a tendency to be on the offensive instead of balancing this and her defense. With a plan at hand or not, the ancient guardian accepted that this was the decision the gargantuan warrior made, hence she had to adapt accordingly. However, adjusting to this massive weapon was not an easy feat, especially for an entity as diminutive as the incandescent protector.
Taking in a deep breath, she pushed her arms forward and bellowed against the approaching projectile in the shape of a giant claymore. "Kismet Blessing!" The Arniomon shouted at the top of her lungs, binary radiance engulfing her frame yet again, overlapping with her many auras including the protective layer the slowly fading Garden of Eden provided. As both forces clashed with each other, energies crackled violently in controlled and uncontrolled fury alike, the vigor of a fighter and the vim of a defender trying to outmatch the other.
It was a tempestuous convergence of opposing powers, sparks and bolts of energy whizzing around the celestial fox for several dozen meters. With all the might she could muster, she fought against the path and the velocity the sword traveled by, holding it in position although barely being able to bring it to halt. An arduous moment went by until finally the tension simmered down. Flash-stepping to the side, the Jesmon's attack, severely slowed, narrowly scraped past her form and personal barrier. Quickly, in a display of brilliance, it returned to its owner with Cion hastily adding another signature javelin of hers as she decelerated immediately.
As the spectacle of colorful lights and seldom seen mastery over oneself ceased to be, the atmosphere within the grandstand was fervid from amazement and vociferous applause. Narrowing her golden eyes, the simper on the Arniomon's muzzle remained, with her non-existent thorax moving up and down to indicate some exertion. So... that was the change of pace the paladin was capable of? Sheesh... she definitely regretted asking for it now, but as the sophisticated guardian and lady she was, she took it with a benevolent snicker.
