How many weeks had it been now? How many months? How much time had she spent out here?
K's grasp on time was about as well as you could expect; she had very little need of it as she was already very long lived but in her meditative stupor she had trouble keeping with pacings of the world.
The last time she had met some individual; it had been at night. During a crescent moon if she recalled it properly enough. So how long had it been since then? These questions disturbed the renamon's thoughts for a little bit even as her mantra continued.
The first key is control.
She knew that, she had learned that because of one of her visitors. She had even managed to get as far as the fourth key before sputtering out ultimately. The soft hissing of further keys beyond her mind.
The second key is perception.
Today even as the moon sat high in the sky; the clouds spent all of their energy on the location already this evening and had moved on to somewhere else. This had affected the renamon very little as all her cloak had to do was flip up it's hood and wait patiently for the rain to subside. Which of course it did with patience only being a small fragment of the holder's power.
The third key is power.
It was ironic really, as she had started from such a small place. In such a small way that she never considered how far she had come nor how much of an impact she made on others or the places she had been. The things she's fought, the people she had helped. The people she had lost herself to or for.
The fourth key is Loyalty.
She felt her pressure dip a little bit, her spirit flagged and the renamon bobbed in place above the stump. This was as far as she had ever really gotten. She had only learned of one key, while she knew of three others. Was this the precipice of another key being learned? Or known to her? Her answer was given to her in such a fragmented sort that it was only a garbled echo. But it increased her power so drastically that the renamon fell from her meditative state and landed on the stump clutching at her head and reciting the first line again.
The first key is control.
She knew she was getting close, but the question was to what?

Toki walked along the island as he looked up at the cloudless sky. The moon illuminated the area in a spectacular fashion, something his spirit appreciated very much. "This light...for some reason it is very nostalgic to me. The light of the full moon feels symbolic that there will always be something to light the way. It may take time, but hope will find a way to shine through." his spirit said as he followed Toki. "It's sobering to see such a clear sky...most of the time when I look up back home, there's always something like a building in the way. Now, I can appreciate what a calm night can provide mentally." Toki replied. The cool air and the gentle ambiance was an experience that Toki has grown accustomed to during his travels, but it never stopped being magical. Somewhere nearby he thought he saw someone. As he walked closer, he noticed the fox-like Digimon. They seemed to be contemplating something or maybe even meditating. He pondered whether or not he should bother them...maybe it was K? He didn't want to assume. He kept his distance and decided to sit down nearby, but not too close to disrupt whatever it was they were doing. His spirit knew that it was K, but wanted the two to interact on their own terms for the time being. Besides, she seemed to be deep in thought and didn't want to interrupt. Toki placed his bag on the ground and sat down. The fresh air was nice. He wished he had the means to make some tea right now, but the atmosphere on its own was pleasant enough. In the light of the moon, Toki took out his notebook and began some writing. "Cloudless Sky Brings Perspective Calm Meditation A Path Forward Soon Revealed"Toki puts away the notebook after writing that and lies back to stare at the sky. He closed his eyes and reflected on his journey thus far and how much about him has changed. A part of him deep down still feels conflicted about his identity, but that was not going to stop him from moving forward.

Who was she to those that she knew? Who was she to those that they didn't?
These questions rang through her head as her mantra continued. She repeated it endlessly, using every moment that each word slipped and weaved through her mind to consider each one. There was much she could do with each one of them, there was much she could do with just the simple grace of the four. The simple grace that she was given by them.
Time passed, the moon felt like it stayed in place forever. What was she missing? What had every single other one of her break throughs required? They required others. They needed others. There wasn't much she could do without them and it was the strange sort of desire for others to find her.
There was a long few moments as she could sense someone approaching; something she could sense that was familiar but not in such a way that she knew without a doubt. For she had met this young man before her true rise into being. Her 'ascension' that she simply couldn't explain.
The renamon's eyes cracked open slowly and she'd take in her surroundings. The mantra that was still echoing in her head pausing for a single moment as she looked over the individual that was sitting nearby. She shifted her body a bit and set her hands on each of her knees. Her face grew warm and she could feel a smile working onto her face.
He looked peaceful to say the least, had he found her out of desire to see her again? Or was this another meeting that simply seemed to be fated? She'd ponder it for a moment before gently speaking; her voice held power certainly but it was contained in such a way that made it more soothing than anything.
"Toki. It's been too long. Come! Sit. Let me get a look at you."

The night was cool and pleasant. Back in Shibuya even the nights were starting to get a little uncomfortably warm, so the air here was refreshing. For a little while he stood up and began going over his katas. In movies he'd see martial artists practice against a peaceful background and now he had that chance to do so himself. No wonder it was a popular shot in those movies. He felt more centered out here.
His spirit watched Toki train as usual, impressed by his adherence to his training even as they traveled. The discipline that Toki had must be part of why he adjusted to life in the Digital World as well as he had. Such martial training was similar to the life that he could remember, which brought a smile to the spirit's face.
Toki eventually stopped and stood straight. He rested his hands in front of his legs and let out a heavy breath before he heard K call out to him. He turned to face her and smiled brightly "K! It is you, how have you been?" he asked before he walked over to sit down with her. Toki's spirit approached as well, now able to fully show himself. The spirit, in Antylamon form, sat down with the other two and let the two of them speak.
Toki looked a little more confident since K saw him last. He didn't glance around nervously as much as he did when they met and his posture seemed better as well. He tilted his head a bit "There's something that feels...different about you. How long has it been for you?" he asked, worried that a lot of things have happened since the two of them saw each other. For him it couldn't have been more than a couple of weeks, but how long was that for her? "I hope things have been okay for you."
He looked around for a moment "As for me, I only just recently came back. I've yet to spirit evolve into Antylamon. I'm worried that if I do it would be too difficult for me to maintain." he said. He was still nervous about attempting a new personal challenge it seemed "But I should at least try at some point. It wouldn't be good if I had to spirit evolve and I couldn't handle it at a crucial moment..." he said, pondering as usual. He blushed and looked over at K "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just rambling as usual. Please, tell me how you've been, K. It's really good to see you again!"
His spirit chuckled "Do not worry about him, K. If he spirit evolved into our Champion state, I'm certain he would hold his own just fine after a moment. His discipline is admirable." he said.

What she was greeted with was not only somewhat startling but she imagined a semblance of change within the young man that stood before her. When she had first met them toki had been a little nervous, now he seemed to feel a lot stronger than the last time they met. Perhaps it was the spirits rubbing off on him, or perhaps that strength was always there and simply was hard to notice before? She'd of course deign to answer his questions as they came, giving him a small smile.
"I can say that I am doing pretty well. All things considered."
She'd shift a little bit while still sitting on the stump, giving him a once over raising a brow slightly as the human seemed to question why she felt different as well as asking how long had it been since they last met. A month? Two? Several?
"Of course I'd imagine I feel different, last time we met I was only a Mega tier. Super mega breeds are very different than those of anything else, we radiate power even outside of what you could say our true form is. As for time? A month, two maybe? The world moves very quickly after all."
She'd smile softly and rub her muzzle thoughtfully. It was quite a while ago she felt, but she couldn't honestly tell. Human to digimon time was strange to her and it was still taking a little bit to get used to.
"Things have been.. Strange to say the least, a very long journey that I wasn't expecting to take."
She'd pause and raise her brows, the human seeming not so nervous when he looked around. He only recently came back to the digital world and is worried about being able to maintain the Antylamon spirit. She'd tut softly and shake her head.
"You can't get used to the form if you never use it toki, Every form has some kind of drain or gimmick to it. But I have faith you'll be able to handle it. I'd say a controlled environment would be the best my dear."
The renamon chuckled and gave the human a small smile; her ears flicked and she'd turn her head to look at his spirit. Giving it a once over as well before dipping her head in respect to the 'departed' digimon.
"Hmm.... I've spent most of my time lately meditating after some somewhat stressful events. Unlocking points in myself, controlling my environment in such a way to keep it so that I am undisturbed to say the least. Mind you times like this are when I learn the best, so off and on. So you could say I've been doing well in this last month. It's good to hear that you have faith in your wielder; it'll make when that time comes for you to test it out in a controlled situation or not so much more fruitful!"
The renamon gave the both of them a small smile and she'd consider something briefly before chuckling again.
"I imagine the human world has been busy yes? Would explain why I haven't seen you in so long!"

Toki beamed happily when K said she has been doing well lately "Great! I'm very happy to hear it. A lot can happen in the time it's been since we've seen each other." he said. He sighed a bit, but he was smiling. He was simply relieved that K had been doing well despite the time it has been. "I've been doing well myself. I've met some people, one of which you actually know. Haru. She said you helped her and Tawna train up a bit, though things also got a bit out of hand...I'm glad the two of you know each other though. She's really nice."
"Super Mega...that's what Haru and Tawna were saying. I feel like I'm not even close to a level of power like that. Not that I'm really rushing to reach that point. But yeah...I can definitely feel a power coming from you without even really thinking about it. It's kind of incredible if you ask me." he said with a smile. "A month or two, huh...?" he pondered for a moment.
"I'd like to hear about your journeys if you have the time or you just...want to, I suppose." he said. He sighed a bit when she mentioned he would never get used to his Champion form if he never used it "You're right...I should find a reason to spirit evolve. Haru did mention she wouldn't mind sparring again one day."
"Oh! Aside from Haru, I met someone named Nik. They apparently gained their Digivice a year go...though since he didn't live in Shibuya, he wasn't able to come to the Digital World. Antylamon and I noticed his digivice one day and we offered to guide him here to the Digital World to find his partner. So that's what I've been up to."
"Stressful, huh...? I know that feeling. It's probably nothing compared to what you've had to deal with lately, but I've had my own worries lately. My father is visiting for a few days and I'm going to have to go meet him soon...I haven't seen him since I moved to Shibuya and...I don't know how that's going to go. I certainly can't tell him I've been here. He wouldn't quite understand." he said with a sigh.
He ran a hand through his hair "Sorry, sorry, I shouldn't make this about me. I'd be glad to join you for some meditation or contemplate some things with you. Some answers are too difficult to reach on one's own after all."
Toki laughed when she asked if the human world as been busy "You can say that. Studies and school...thankfully I'll be on break from my studies soon, so I will have much more free time. I've been looking forward to it, honestly...so I could explore more of this world and see what I can do."
His spirit looked happy "I trust him greatly. He has a good head on his shoulders and a good sense of right and wrong. I don't think I could have asked for a better wielder. He has been doing very well in making new friends and helping others find their digimon partners."
Toki blushed a bit "I-I'm just doing what I think is the right thing to do...it's not all that impressive."

"That it can, there's quite a lot that happened too."
The renamon shifted a little bit and tilted her head, both of her ears flicking forward as Toki continued on. So they had met Haru and tawna? She brightened a little bit and nodded as the human seemed to be made aware of how things had gotten out of hand.
"Unfortunately yes, but we stopped before it got too bad. It was a pleasure meeting the both of them..."
The renamon found herself grinning just a little bit when Toki mentioned that he felt he wasn't anywhere near that level. No one was near that level starting out; they all had to start somewhere and it was ussually at the bottom.
"A journey isn't measured by power, it's measured by the steps you take and those you have with you. If you're not rushing to super mega, that's fine. You don't need to. It'll come on it's own when you need it the most."
There was a momentary pause and the renamon dipped her head in a nod.
"I always have the time for friends or those that need me Toki. I suppose a good question is where to start hmm?"
She'd blink as Toki seemed a little hesitant to use his champion form. She shouldn't of pushed him for that; but at the same time she wanted him to be comfortable in everything he had. She was a friend that would be there for him if he needed her.
"If you need some help with it, I don't mind offering assistance either."
Of course that was followed by him stating that he had met another person. Someone by the name of 'Nik'? It was a strange name to hear amidst all the names from japan or from the few locales that she had been to. She'd rub her muzzle and eye Toki for a moment. So they gained their digivice a year ago and the helpful spirit user had offered to guide them to the digital world?
"That was certainly a nice thing to do for them. I imagine they'll likely want to repay you someday. Hopefully they find their partner quickly, the digital world can be dangerous..."
The renamon found her brows raising again; so toki was stressed too? His father was visiting in a few days and the human hadn't seen them since coming to Shibuya? What would he be able to tell their parental figure? She'd shake her head a little bit and grin at the human.
"It's possible you could say you've been making friends, hanging out with them and partaking in school of course. I don't mind hearing about the things you do or the problems you have; being friends isn't just a one way street of course!"
She'd chuckle lightly and eye the human, noting the laugh that he had when she asked about the human world. He was going to have a break from his studies fairly soon? That was a relief to hear. She wondered if it was summer break or something like that? She had been told that was when the digital world really saw an influx of humans.
"Well hopefully you can enjoy the digital world and the exploration you desire to do."
The renamon gazed at the spirit and gave it a smile. It was good to hear things from the partner to Toki; it spoke volumes about how their relationship was going.
"I believe it means quite a bit coming from your spirit toki. doing the right thing is hard, and keeping to it can be harder. You should be proud of yourself. In fact the both of you should be proud of yourselves and one another. I can tell how much you've grown and it's a relief to see the both of you are safe."

Toki nodded "Haru was really grateful to you for being able to help calm that entire situation. I hope Tawna is going to be okay. She seems to struggle with emotion and connections with others, but it looks like she's on the right track with that. I think she cares deeply for Haru, she just doesn't know how to convey it yet."
Antylamon spoke up as well "I spoke with Tawna while Toki and Haru conversed. Tawna does indeed struggle, but she looked like she was doing her best to be a good partner for Haru. I believe in her and I think the two of them will do great things."
Toki took the D-Tector out of his jacket pocket and stared at it for a minute to contemplate what K had said "It's about the steps I take...huh?" he thought about his first time here in the Digital World. He could barely remember the first time he spirit evolved, but now he was in enough control that he could remember them clear as day. "Alright, let's give this a shot. Ready, Antylamon?" he looked at his spirit partner.
Antylamon nodded "I am ready when you are. I have faith in you."
Toki stood up and prepared the data around his hand, the code more complete and complex than Turuiemon's. He swiped the code and smiled confidently "Spirit Evolution!" he finished the sequence and was soon surrounded in light. The transformation was a little more taxing, but Toki held fast and soon the light dispersed to reveal his new Champion form "Antylamon!"
He stumbled a bit from his height since he was so much taller now. He quickly sat down and crossed his legs. He looked over his body "This feels...different. I definitely feel stronger, but it's another body to adapt to. I would not mind staying here and meditating with you...or continue chatting. I think it would help me acclimate."
He blushed a bit when she said that it was nice of him to help Nik "I actually stayed with him until they were able to meet. I wasn't about to let him fend for himself in the Digital World. I'll admit I got a little teary eyed when he finally met his Digimon. It was such an amazing thing to witness, especially since their friendship was already so strong that it Digivolved not long after."
There was a silence when she brought up what he could tell his father "I'm just not sure if it will be enough for him. School has been going well so I'm sure that will please him. Something's bothering me though...recently I just feel like I'm remembering things wrong or...selectively. Like I'm not remembering him the way I should. Maybe I'm...overreacting." he sighed. He felt like stress and events from his past have led him to create false memories. If that was the case, he'd feel terrible. More than terrible.
He gave a slight smile at her next words "That means a lot to both of us. I know that the right thing is subjective, but all I want to do is help people be happy and peaceful. We've grown a lot together so...it's only fair I help others do the same."

"I merely... stepped into a higher evolution to do so. It's not something I'd do lightly. She'll be fine, it'll just take a little bit for her to get used to all of this. I imagine the both of them talk quite often, so who knows? I can't really speak for them; but I wish the both of them the best in that endevour as well as offering advice for them if they need it. But I doubt they'll need this old fox's advice for something like that."
The renamon chuckled a little bit and gazed at Antylamon tilting her head and shifting slightly so that she was better facing the both of them.
"Tawna would do just about anything for Haru even if she can't convey what she wants. If you believe that I have no doubt that it's true."
The renamon stretched a bit and ran a hand through her fur, staring quietly at the pair as Toki took out his D-tector. Curiosity spread across her features as she still wasn't used to this whole spirit user business. It was a fascinating process to watch as Toki vanished only to be replaced by the Antylamon evolution. It was much more solid looking than the spirit and K figured if she reached out she would feel 'flesh' rather than it just whisping through it like spirits tended to do.
"Each form comes with it's pushes and pulls, each form will feel different. Whether fueled by emotion or sound mind. Well. I am very willing to keep chatting Toki. Or help you meditate if you desire. Sometimes a new evolution can be difficult to meditate in."
The renamon chuckled again and smiled flicking an ear as he continued with his explanation of what he had done with Nik.
"That's good to hear toki. I would be rather surprised if you had done so. You don't strike the type to delve and ditch so to speak. It's surprising that they could digivolve so soon after meeting one another; but I suppose that just goes to show that some friendships are just natural."
The renamon rubbed her muzzle thoughtful and stared at the spirit user turned digimon. There was a quick frown and she'd tilt her head slightly; her interactions with her own father were... Well. Something that she could use to strengthen her own life and resolve. The few chats they had over the years only went to prove that; but not everyone could have the same sort of relationship as she did.
"I cannot speak for him, nor will I. But he'd be foolish not to be proud of how far you've come. I wouldn't worry too much about it personally; but perhaps if that's worrying you why not bring it up to him when you feel comfortable enough to do so?"
The renamon leaned slightly, placing her elbows on her knees. Smiling and flicking an ear just a little bit.
"Right thing or not, as long as you believe in what you're doing who is to say otherwise? Your desires are a good thing toki, I can't think of anything else to call it. You'll continue to grow I imagine, but realize that with each stepping stone in your journey more and more people will look to you for answers. For Guidance. You might not see it now, you might not see it then. But it will happen."

Toki agreed with K about Haru and Tawna "The two of them are a good duo. They seem like they bicker a little, but that's healthy in some cases." he said with a light-hearted chuckle. "I wish them the best as well and I'll do everything I can for them if they need my help."
He stretched a bit and rolled his shoulders "You're right about that...having such long arms and legs feels strange with Antylamon. I've gotten used to it and I'm more than capable of fighting like this. There was a Digimon in the Human World recently...a Black Garurumon. It attacked a human in the forest and I stepped in to fight it and successfully forced it back to the Digital World. This woman I saved now knows about Digimon...I'm not sure how she's been lately, but I hope she's doing well after that incident..."
Toki thought about what she said involving Nik and Brad "I just did what felt naturally to me, I guess...and yeah, it was kind of surprising to see a digivolution so quickly after they met. It got me thinking about something though...what if I met my spirit while he was still...well..." he didn't know how exactly to word it.
His spirit spoke up for him "Alive? You do not need to worry about that, Toki. I take no offense to what is truth. I am a shadow of my former self. And to answer your question, I am sure we would still be the friends we are now. It's just the combat portion of our adventure would be slightly different."
Toki scratched the back of his head "Well that's true...thank you. I'll admit I was...worried. I thought I was going to be alone as usual with a spirit partner...but you've proven me wrong. Not only are you here with me, you've also helped me meet so many amazing people." he said.
He looked at K and blushed a bit "Sorry, we talk a lot...and it must look weird since it's like I'm talking to myself." he said. He considered what she said about his father "Maybe I should try to bring this up..there's something that's just been bothering me. Something I think only talking with him will solve. It's what I have to do." he nodded.
"I'm not very confident in my decision making skills to be honest...it's a weakness of mine. I always second guess myself because I worry that my snap decisions will just get myself or someone else hurt." he said. He crossed his legs "But I appreciate you saying all of this. Now...what exactly are you meditating on? Something specific or just...clearing your mind? Either way I would enjoy discussing this with you."

"Well bickering will strengthen the both of them, if anything they'll need help from friends in times they don't agree with one another."
The renamon shrugged an gave the champion tier spirit a small smile. He was certainly right there and she knew she could rely on them to be there for such a friend. The renamon leaned slightly before furrowing her brow; there was an attack in the human world? That she didn't know about? It wasn't a surprise considering that she was here and she was glad a friend was able to help out someone in need.
"Good. You did the right thing helping them out; perhaps after all this is said and done you should pay them a visit? If you managed to grab their name or the like I bet you could track them down."
The renamon rubbed her muzzle and gave the spirit user a grin as he told her what he had done with duo. It was a good thing he was doing what felt natural. The renamon stretched a little bit before patting herself down a bit. She was still feeling a tad sore from sitting in one position for so long.
"A strong bond can come from a lot or from a little it doesn't matter where as long as it's formed in that regard. But it's good that it was such."
Her eyes would flick of course to the thought of his spirit being alive at one point. She'd consider it briefly if she was ever in the same position. She wouldn't feel uncomfortable about being dead like that fashion; she'd just be happy to be able to make a difference long after her time.
"The two of you have certainly gained quite a lot of strength together. I am glad to see it like so."
The renamon found herself grinning a bit and then before long she was leaning over attempting of course to give the spirit user gone digimon a pat on the head from his apology.
"You're fine Toki, it's good to see you in such a healthy relationship with your spirit. You should be proud of how far you've come. Trust me when it comes to talking to ones self I know how it can be. I've got two whole other digimon mucking around in here!"
The renamon gestured to her head and let out a soft but loose laugh.
"If you talk to him I think he'll understand, just take your time okay? Don't fret too much about it; I can even be there to help if you want. I don't even have to say anything if you don't want me to; sometimes a friend being around is just what one needs."
The renamon stared quietly and then blinked as she bashfully put a hand to her head. There was a lot of her to process of course and well...
"Don't worry Toki, you'll gain confidence in yourself as time passes I am sure of it. Just take your time, work on what you think you have problems with and the end will see itself in the way that you have set forward."
The renamon looked somewhat unsure for a moment as to how to answer his questions.
"I am meditating on my data, my soul, my cores. I have so much information to process that it's nearly overwhelming. I've been at this for... a few weeks? A month now? It's hard to really tell. But basically i have all these memories from Jesmon and examon to process to understand that.. well. They're getting worked into my data so I have to understand what they were in order to know where I am truly going as they will have a profound impact on my personality, mentality and simple drive to do things."

Toki thought about Haru and Tawna again, hoping that he would be able to help them when it was truly important. "Yeah...they're going to be fine. I just hope I can be there to help, you know?" he said with a slight tilt of his head.
When she asked about the person he saved, he nodded "Her name is Cassandra, though she goes by Cas. She runs a clinic back in Shibuya, so I know where I can go if I want to speak with her. If worst comes to worst I can get treated there if I get hurt, though I'd hate for that to be our next meeting. She seemed...wary about Digimon, though I can't really blame her if her first encounter was with an angry BlackGarurumon. I told her about the possibility of her gaining a Digimon partner. She didn't seem too amused with the idea."
He fidgeted around a bit at her compliment to the two of them "H-have we gotten stronger? I mean...I guess we have. Aside form that encounter in the human world, I also helped destroy one of those Dark Spires...though given the circumstances of what we were fighting I was forced to stick to one attack over and over again...I felt a little embarrassed about that, honestly." he sighed.
"But you still gave it your best effort, right? Focus on that and you'll feel much better about what happened. I appreciate your kind words, K. That you think our friendship is healthy is very calming to hear." his spirit said.
Toki scratched the back of his head with a large hand "Y-yeah, thank you...we try our best. We read together and spend a lot of time talking." he was curious about what she meant by two other Digimon in her head, but saved a comment for later.
"Would you come with? I think that would be nice. I'd like for some people to be there to help me figure things out. I still have to ask him when exactly he's coming by, but I'll be sure to contact you ahead of time." he said. As for the confidence issue, K seemed to believe in him regarding that aspect as well "You're putting a lot of faith in me...I'll try, but I can't really guarantee I'll figure anything out..." he sighed.
