Sometimes meditation takes you to places you would rather not go. Places you would rather not see. Things you'd rather not think about and ways of life that you missed in the past.
While her body of course was still floating near whitewater, pushing out that pressure that was so familiar with the power of a super mega as her body was slowly getting to the point of stability so she had to direct her thoughts to somewhere where deeper problems lay.
Her mind
The place where the keys made the largest impact; the hardest impact and segmented them in such a proper fashion that made it easy for the renamon's thoughts to push into them actively.
The renamon's mental projection of herself within the deep recesses of her mind was simple. It reflected what she looked like now even with the distinct lack of color. The graceful cloak that adorned her shoulders looked so much softer than it did in person.
The mental projection of herself within her own mind took the time to get acclimated with her location; she felt a little lost and a little confused how she managed to do this without guru holding her hand. She'd frown and slowly take steps down the only road that was available in this massive plot of forest that made up the innermost workings of her mind.
Eventually she got to a familiar site, that pained her to see. But unlike last time there was only a single renamon standing there other than her current mental projection. It was the one that was still humming and cleaning on the inside; trying to work around the fact that the building that they were in was still ablaze trying to act like nothing was wrong.
When was the last time you ever went for it you know? Like really went for it?
That soft familiar tone paved in her own voice made the renamon sit down and stare at this burning building. Her jaw slowly setting as she thought over what she was seeing and how to deal with it. It was painful to look at as she had memorized every layer, every single plank and every curve of the wood that she had lived with for so long.
She didn't realize this but her mind had left itself open, even gentle extending out to reach towards a familiar party out of subconscious need of understanding and desire to inform the other of what had occured. There was a layer of need in the extended tendril of the mind; a need of something to defend herself with. Whether or not they heard her was besides the point, she hadn't a clue she was even doing this in her state as she was too busy reflecting on the past while her mantra slowly paced out in the background her mind...
Genesis. Viktor.
The first key is control.

It had been sometime since Kajunemon had healed from his wounds against the D-Reaper. As time went on however, it became clear to Viktor that there was... something else that resided within the duo. Genesis was none-the-wiser, and as time went on, it seemed she was becoming more distant with her thoughts. Looking out to the horizon on her own many times, staring blankly at Viktor without holding a conversation with him and often sitting by herself well away from her Human tamer.
But the duo heard a call; their names from a familiar voice nearby. They looked to eachother and nodded...
The two took their Super Mega form, in it's normal six-tailed form and approached the resting Renamon, sighing as he sat down across from her, crossing his legs and hovering in the air as he began 'projecting' himself to her. She opened the door.. now it was a matter of entering and closing the door behind him.
Suddenly, he got very hot, as if he was standing in front of a burning building. He watched it burn as he winced, trying to understand what her mind was showing him. The burning structure shifted to the side, breaking apart as he watched K battle a corrupt Reppamon... who was very similar in the sense of TigerVespmon. But unlike Kajunemon, K wasn't successful. She was broken apart and she managed to escape. He sighed as he suddenly fell backwards, and clawed his way from the sudden snow around him. He sighed as he looked over himself. His muscle mass much smaller, his shoulders more narrow and his chest much... softer. K's projection of him was something of a Tribal woman.
The ronin remained unaffected as 'she' pulled the bandages from 'her' midsection to her chest, then stood up and began walking to yet another burning building. The fox approached carefully and spoke with a voice just a feminine as the body that was projected by K;
"K. What is this?"
She knew this had some relation to this burning structure and it had deep meaning to her. What was more, is that Kajunemon knew she was shown the fight between the corrupt Reppamon and K for a reason... But the purpose of her visitation in K's mine? That remained to be seen. She could figure everything else; Why she was a she and not a he and most of the scenery. Perhaps she called out to Genesis because of her love... but then, why call Viktor? She didn't want one, she wanted the duo. Which meant, she wanted the Ronin.
Now it was coming together.

Their entry into her mind wasn't subtle to say the least; but all that they saw was certainly intended. It was nothing new to the renamon of course; her mind acted of it's own accord half the time and the other she was gifted with thoughts all her own. Repetition in either form was certainly painful for her; even if it was friendly.
She let the other see what her mind intended them to; not saying a word until they addressed her. The renamon slowly stood up, dusting herself off though she didn't turn for a little bit. Still staring at that burning building; the fire she never got to see but she had seen the remains of the damn place. It was frustrating beyond belief. She could still see the projection of herself inside of it; working hard on that one strip of counter. With a soft grunt she'd tear her eyes from the 'her' and gaze upon the ronin.
"This is... was... My inn. Then there's what you saw... Well. Both of them my failures one I couldn't control and one I could."
She'd clench her fists and grit her teeth just a little bit; it was hard asking for help in any regard. It was hard doing something like this that would no doubt hurt her pride but she had nothing to lose. With an earnest sigh she'd gesture behind her pointing at the 'her' that tended to that strip of wood that was left unburnt.
"I need your help not to be the helpless renamon I was when I started this journey. I can't change what I can't control, but you saw the fight with your own eyes. I need to get better if I'm to help the people I care about and those that need it. Can the two of you help me? The keys of digivolution are slow to come, but they're progress none the less. But they'll be meaningless if that scene occurs again in the future."

That made sense now. He witnessed K's losing battle simply because she wanted the Ronin to, she wanted assistance from him to ensure this would never happen again. Kajunemon wasn't exactly busy, mostly tending to rumors, but even if he was, he'd make time for her.
Or "She" would, rather, Kajunemon in K's head was a very lean Vixen, her muscles toned about the same level as her male form. She wondered if this is how K thought of her or if this was her own doing, either way, she would speak with hands clasped behind her back and gesture to follow, away from the now collapsed facade.
"Very well... follow me."
Kajunemon would lead her into a clearing, something she 'suggested' to K's subconscious. Maybe K allowed it, or perhaps she'd be confused how the fox manifested this. As they walked; The ground would shift slightly, a light dusting of snow across the thick grass, soft grass that folded under their feet. The trees parted almost perfectly to create a circle around them, giving them 'room' to spar and test their meddle while the snow gently fell from the grey sky;
"Take your Super Mega form."
She waited, drawing her own crimson and silver blade as she held it in a firm, downward grip as the blade's tip gently pushed the highest blade of grass. She stood abreast to K as she changed, keep her feet a little wider than shoulder-width to meet any momentum the other fox might have used in her change.
"What is it you say? The first key is control. Good, that will be this lesson. Control your pace, take breathers, do not rush or move unpredictably. Your key is to conserve as much energy as possible. Take it slow and move in when you're ready."
She drew a line in the dirt in front of her, a clear 'warning' to any who watched the bladeswoman wield her weapon.
It was time to test Genesis' lover.

There was still pain attached to the thoughts of that battle; still pain from the loss she had suffered to that Reppamon. How could she of lost to such a creature? There were dozens of things she could of done different. Thousands even and each possibility only made her more stressed out.
Her eyes tracked the ronin for a few moments before blinking as they told her to follow them. With a nod she'd pad after them gazing quietly around as they arrived to what seemed to be her mind setting up a sparring location for the two. It thought of everything for this wouldn't it?
Then she was told to take her super mega form; a brief moment of surprise followed and K sighed slowly. She still couldn't keep that form up for very long if at all. There was a brief moment of frustration but it was pushed aside for something else.
"I can keep that form for maybe a few minutes at best. It's... very taxing to me as it is."
But she took the form anyways, she grew almost four times as tall. Limbs extended and her form warped, twisted and grew to that of Jesmon's. She stood there for a moment as she could feel the drain almost as acutely as before.
"Yes."
K dipped her head in a nod and listened to what the ronin had to say. There was a small pause before she shifted slightly. Regular breathing was important, shifting her weight in such a manner that wouldn't overwork her was important. She didn't need to rush this at all; she could take her time with this. Make it count. The Jesmon exhaled slowly and let their blades slip out of their sheathes on her forearms. They were quite long and rather durable looking no where near the blade that Kanjumenon held.
When she was ready she took a few steps forward, her stance shifting slightly to allow her some tight swings if need be. She was fairly hesitant to fight in this form as she hadn't really tried before...

Though hesitant, the other Fox took a form that was a little taller than Kajunemon. Who pursed her lips and watched, keeping her blade up;
"There you are. Now... nice and easy."
Suddenly the now armored Fox took some slow, tight swings that Kajunemon easily dodged. She gave slow swings of her own blade to catch Jesmon off guard and topple her! She would examine each move, each step... each breath.
"Come now," she said, taking a few steps back, "This can't be all." she chuckled a bit as she brought her blade around, rotating her shoulder to strike the Jesmon again! She would then try to place both feet on the plated Jesmon's chest and push off as hard as she could! She would then roll off her back and stand up, staring her down;
"When you feel the form wane, do not relent. Hold it for as long as you can. Fight it and struggle. Hold out..." she planted her sword into the dirt and crossed her arms; "I was just like this. I could not hold the fox for more than a minute at a time. But I kept trying. Kept picking it back up. Now I can hold it for hours."
She would wait to watch Jesmon wane, then she would move in, looking to deliver some heavy blows into her armor, making her struggle that much more to hold the form! The idea was to keep her struggling until she emptied her tank completely! The only way to build your reserves was to continue to build toward it. The more they trained, the longer Jesmon might find her able to hold this new form!

It was wierd moving in this form, it didn't feel right to her for whatever reason. It felt slow and clunky but that was just because she really wasn't used to it. It was frustrating to her as she was easily toppled by the other super mega. With a grunt she'd slowly push herself up. She could feel this form eating at her stamina already and it was rather irritating.
When the other fox pushed off of her, K shifted her foot to allow her to stabilize herself. She could feel the armor take the brunt of the blows from the sword but it still hurt like hell. Was that armor part of her? Or was she a part of the armor? It was really hard to tell.
"It's not everything."
She could feel the form start to relent already and she'd grit her teeth. Listening to what the other had to say. It was quite simple really. The other wanted her to hold onto the form as long as she could, but wouldn't that drain her completely near the end? It would make it difficult to continue on or meditate later if she had spent everything but luckily she had the time to get all this energy back.
"Eugh... You have a point but, I haven't really had to do this before. It's a new sensation in it's entirity."
So did her form start to wane as the Jesmon felt her energy reserves start to be eaten away at. The sudden heavy blows made her stagger and the Jesmon would bring about one of her swords to try to make a good swipe at the Kajunemon. Each swing took so much energ, so much time for her. It was watching a sand counter drain rapidly.
She could already feel her form starting to slip...
It was maybe a few seconds more than what she was used to being in the form already. A full minute had past and she could feel the form start to shudder as it continued to eat away at the energy she had in store. It was a painful process and each hit that the other did on her took so much from her that it didn't take long for the Renamon's body to return with a stagger.
Her form lasted maybe for a minute and a half.

Like a symphony of destruction that resounded through the theater, Kajunemon only picked up her pace! With a few simple rolls and a side step, the Jesmon's swipes would be rendered useless! The clunky and slow nature of K allowed her to move around much easier, and she didn't relent!
Another controlled swipe at her joints to break her stance, if the first didn't work, then another few would keep coming until she either did what she intended or moved on to something else. Like a flash of orange and yellow, the swipes would be aimed to topple the metal beast! Kajunemon kept her swipes deliberately weak, however. This worked as a two pronged ability as it didn't hurt K too much and saved her energy.
The fox would toss her sword as she would look for an opening to catch K's attack with her 'support' hand. If she calculated K's stamina and fatigue, she would catch that hand, place her strong hand on Jesmon's armored shoulder then take a quick hop, counter her own weight and attempt to toss K into a nearby tree! It would be quite the push, but if it landed; K would no doubt feel every inch of that. If it didn't work and Kajunemon was forced to back off, she'd simply try to sweep her leg and backflip to cover her distance;
"Hold it. Hold it until it hurts. Until you feel everything break inside you. Even if you throw up... even if you pass out. Everything."
She'd walk over to K and place a hand on her, "Everything. Hold it. Hold... it." She would be feeding a very small amount of energy to K. Not enough to hold the form, but enough that it would be pure torture. Like a body trying to drift into sleep, but the conscious mind preventing it.
"Weak. You lost to Reppamon had it not been for your mutation, you'd be a part of him." She whispered to K as she continued to feed energy, "You don't deserve this power. Go back to him and let him finish what he started."

K was on the back foot the whole way wasn't she?
She was completely unused to the jesmon form, it moved differently than every other that she had along with being at the very worst twice the size of what she was used to. It's continued feeling of clunky and slow didn't help either, the Kajunemon had a rather easy time dodging literally everything she could do.
The first couple swings to break her stance didn't work, but after another three or four the Jesmon staggered a little bit putting out a hand to keep her from falling over completely. The Jesmon pushed herself up only to find the sword that the other had tossed their sword. There was a moment where she tracked that, only for her 'mentor' to easily toss the large form into a tree.
It hurt to say the least and she wasn't very happy with it. But it didn't matter as she felt her form wane completely and the renamon was simply laying there breathless. The other continued to speak; telling her to hold that form. But she couldn't, she had used up the precious reserves of energy that she had.
The placement of the large hand upon her body only made the renamon flinch a bit. She could feel that tortuous feeding of energy start to take root. It wasn't enough for her to do anything with really but it prevented her from passing out. Which of course would of just ended with her passing out in the real and ejecting the other two out.
Then the other spoke again, calling her weak and told her that if it hadn't been for her mutation she'd be a part of them now. She already knew that, she had lucked out in that regard but...
Then there was the whisper that followed. There was a small flicker of irritation in her eyes. Nothing overwhelming but her mood had drastically changed with that. Whether she wanted to do this or not was besides the point, whether or not she could hold the form for very long was besides the point.
She let the light of digivolution warp her body again, allowing her agony of trying to keep that form that she had just come out of. The large metal gauntlet came to give a swipe at the Kajunemon. She was excessively tired as it was now, she could feel that rapid drain start to take effect but she ignored it.
Until Everything hurt.
Until Everything broke.
Whether the Kajunemon let her stand up was irrelevant. The Jesmon pushed itself up albeit very slowly; the blue eyes that rested in the Helmeted head stared at the Kajunemon. Breathlessly she'd speak, feeling her body try to revolt against her.
"Again."

Just like that a swipe almost caught the fox off guard! She blocked with her arms up and slid to a stop a few feet back. A toothy smile flashed behind the slender arms;
"Very well." she summoned her sword, which whipped back into her hand, "Again. Do try to put up a fight this time!"
Kajunemon rushed forward, looking to strike the joints again, but this time the attacks moved slightly faster. The Vixen would do the same roll and side-step to avoid any counterattack and would even clash blades should the opportunityarise. But she didn't relent with the taunting, it seemed to get her to move more and attack even stronger:
"I guess anyone can be a legendary Super Mega these days, even those who lose to weaker digimon!"
She would swipe a few times, looking to let K's armor take the brunt of the slightly heavier attacks. Kajunemon would attempt to clinch her again, closing the gap and trying to trap K's leg between the Vixen's, "Look!"
Images of her losing to the Reppamon flashed, a controlled image by Kajunemon, "That is you. YOU are weak! Just relent the form, give your data to someone who needs it."
She would try to then break away and land just feet away, standing abreast, "You were too weak to stop yourself from dying. Too weak save the Dark Area and..." the image of the inn burning, "Too weak to save your livelihood. Pathetic. Truly!"
She readied her sword, ready to attack, "Perhaps I shouldn't waste my time."

The jesmon watched the other digimon slide back, they had easily blocked her swing and she shouldn't really be surprised. They weren't in the same boat as her now, but they had been a while ago. So they knew just what to do with her when it came to this. It frustrated her a little bit but she also didn't want to admit that she was relieved to have someone go through the paces with her.
There wasn't hesitation this time when her swords slid out of her forearm holsters. K took a moment to compose herself and watched the Kajunemon rush forward, noting where the other was swinging for she'd quickly block it not with the forearm blades but the tail blade she luckily had so that her forearm blades could make the counter attack. It didn't matter though as they were ready for that too it seemed.
The taunting only made K pause and grit her teeth; she could feel the drain getting more intense now but she pushed it firmer. She'd grunt in irritation at the hits against her armor, it was enough to make her stagger for a moment but it wasn't enough to keep the jesmon 'down' per say. She'd make a series of swipes one after the other, even adding her tail in on the back swings she'd add from time to time. Though when the other managed to trap her leg she'd stop and stare at the Reppamon imagery.
There was this sad pause when it was brought up, there was frustration and anger in there too but they were paltry compared to the feeling of sadness she had coursing through her. She couldn't of stopped the inn from happening anyways, she wasn't there. She hadn't been strong enough in the dark area, that much was true.
Am I regretting these things? Or am I more sad at the fact I was weak?
However when the Kajunemon said that they shouldn't waste their time K growled in irritation and made a vicious swing with far more energy behind it than she rightfully should of had at this point even going so far as stepping into the strike. She'd snarl a retort to the last point, there was irritation plain on her features but the other had struck home.
"I am weak. I know that, My timing isn't always the best either. But that won't stop me from trying! Lessons learned and time spent!"

The fox had managed to quite easily move around the hits, simply ducking her shoulder or sliding under them responding with her swipes to keep the momentum of the fight going. The taunting worked... but perhaps too well.
Suddenly, and as if it was summoned from the deepest pits of K's will, a swing moved just fast enough for the outspoken Vixen to be forced to block, and even that wasn't enough as it sent her flying sideways into a tree. She managed to slow herself, but the attack still hurt. She chuckled and planted her sword in the ground;
"There! You said lesson's learned? Show me!"
She pulled the blade from the dirt as the Earth covering the blade trickled to the ground and she roared, bringing the sword forward and sliding several hundred meters forward to K! The hope was that K would deflect or dodge so Kajunemon could continue to clash and taunt her. Even if it didn't, she'd speak again, blade point at the Jesmon, she could feel those pauses of sadness.
"No. Sadness has it's place. But not here. Regret is a masterless tone. Mourning is all you get. But you are not allowed to regret!"
She took two steps back and sheathed her sword, closing her eyes;
"But you're weak, so all you'll do is regret all that could've been, rather than cherish what was."
Another lesson, albeit a dangerous one. If K didn't act, if she didn't motivate herself to attack something that was lying in wait. K would surely regret it. One way or another.

There was frustration within k that much had been certain. It was in every way the Jesmon moved and every way that the Jesmon attacked. She was holding herself back, she was trying to control it instead of just letting it flow in the natural way of things. Perhaps it was coming from the fact she was uncertain how to approach this fight; or perhaps it was true that at her core she was sad.
The other digimon pulled the blade out of the earth before doing a dazzling display of where they slid into combat range from so far away! The Jesmon shifted and brought her sword to meet the other's blade. The jesmon shifted and widened it's stance a little bit, starting to feel like it was getting the hang of moving if only barely. The other pointed their blade at her and the Jesmon paused considerably.
Sadness has it's place, Regret was not something she was allowed? K looked confused for a few moments, thinking over what the other had said. Mourning was all she got from this? She was unsure how to really feel about this. However when the other spoke she felt her hands clench, the groaning of metal bringing a strange sensation as she had almost driven the points straight through her armor on her hands.
She was weak. That much was certain, but should she sit here lamenting that fact instead of changing it? What was she supposed to do other than Regret? Other than mourn?
Cherish it.
The Jesmon shifted a bit thinking these things through. She stood there for a few moments before drawing herself up bringing a arm back and making a swipe at the other super mega. She could feel the drain still, she could feel her tank start to burn from the energy that it was trying to draw. She was getting t othe point of where it was starting to pull from somewhere else. Her pained and rather short response followed quickly...
"How?"

With her eyes still closed, the vixen took a seat, crossing her legs and resting her arms on her legs. She gave a small smile and looked up, giving a simple answer to her simple question;
"Forget."
She continued to mediate as her tails began flowing like a gentle fire. Now the Jesmon was learning... Kajunemon could feel it. When she stopped thinking about all she lost and focused on what she loved, what she cared for, then she could surpass her limits. Emotion was a powerful thing, and even when training your mind was the greatest double edged sword. It either worked for you... or against you.
"This whole fight you've not been fighting me." she took a deep sigh in, then out; "You've been fighting yourself."
She stood up and drew her blade, spinning the sword and slamming it in the ground. A shockwave emerged so powerful that it began to uproot trees and send them flying! Jesmon would be hardpressed to stand still as it would no doubt heat her armor! The fox would then rush Jesmon, looking to plant the sword clean into her!
"And... Losing!"

The answer to the question was so surprisingly simple and profound it took the Jesmon back for a moment. K blinked a few times and looked down at her hands. How could she simply forget what had happened to her? What had been such a point in her life for so long? How could she do that of all things? She seemed exasperated to the point of inaction; uncertain what to do.
She'd carefully watch the Kajunemon, hesitation in her step as she started to approach them. But then they spoke again; once again the statement she made was utterly profound. Something that she was unsure how to really respond to. The problem was that the other wasn't wrong.
They were right.
The Jesmon looked unsure still, however when the Kajunemon stood up and drew their blade the Jesmon took a step backwards only to be met by that shockwave. The tree's went flying and the Jesmon staggered backwards almost falling over but managing to stop herself midway with her tail and an arm. Though she was wide open and was an easy target for that sword.
If the sword was truly to plunge into her the Jesmon would let out a troubled gasp. Gripping at it suddenly with what would equate to her free hand. There was a shimmer of irritation as she felt herself had been drawn into that thought pattern. Out of everything to do however, rather than focus on the 'pain' she was feeling from the sword. She sought more answers.
"If I've been fighting myself and losing, is the answer to forget too? Or is there another thing I'm missing here...."
