Since he was still attempting to draw Dorothy, while she was moving around it wasn't an easy job he did notice her starting to draw on the blank page, maybe she didn't notice him as he only gave one or two casual glances at her, plus she seemed to of been having a lot of fun so he wasn't really that sure he could bring himself to say something, if anything really so he just let her do what she did, focusing entirely on the detail of his drawing.
Eventually, Alice found out what she had seen and showed the rest of the group it, taking it in for a moment Shi just shook his head agreeing with her statement. "Yeah, if it's the first time she's drawn it's a decent thing, but worrying all the same." That's like, call your parents to the school types of worrying though, he's seen stranger drawings from kids before. "Kinda looks like that time you tried to draw Yuudai." Which quickly earned another hit from his brother, Yasuo was still laughing though. "S-shut up, how was I supposed to know it was that hard." He responded looking a tad bit embarrassed.
"It's to the east of here, there's a large flat area around it and it's smack dab in the middle, can't miss it." Shi pointed out before thinking for a moment. "Exploring might be nice but I can help you get out of the desert, probably don't want to explore with this heat." Shi offered before hearing about the grappling hook. "It's been used for a lot of stuff, though it doesn't work like in shows." Shi said with a small chuckle, of course, it didn't.

"Last time she did this kind of thing she was a Pagumon, and was simply scribbling shapes on people... I don't know, maybe she's pretending to be more scary than she really is." Alice's mention of this theory causes Dorothy to shake her head slightly and blurt out a response.
"Nope! I'm bad to the bone, ya dork!" She's... Clearly playing herself up. It's kind of adorable, really. She's also staying still again, making it easy to draw her, the purple and gray Tsukaimon trying to look rather smug and cool, but only coming off as a cute, if somewhat silly tryhard. While she may be a prankster and definitely not the most morally upstanding Digimon out there, she's far from someone who would leave a trail of destruction in her path just for fun.
With the mention of Terminus being relatively close, Alice begins listening once again as she begins to continue writing in her notebook, turning the page to leave Dorothy's silly, slightly macabre sketch behind. "Anyways, Terminus. Is there an easy way to get there, or am I going to have to travel there the hard way? Either way, I'll be with Dorothy, so it's going to be interesting at least..." She takes another drink, and laughs to herself. "And I do plan on exploring at least a little. Maybe I'll do it when it's darker out and cooler... The sun does set in the Digital World, right?"

Shi looked at Dorothy after she tried to say she was quote, bad to the bone. He almost laughed at the Tsukaimon but noticed she was sitting still so decided to finish up his drawing fast while she was, pencil moving a lot faster now as he did try his best not to make any mistakes, and succeeded as he kept making a few glances back at the Tsukaimon while he did it, occasionally erasing something before getting right back to it.
While this was happening seemed like it was up to Yuudai and Yasuo to answer some questions. "You'll have to travel the long way, though if you can find a station a trailmon will take you, train Digimon. But sadly we don't know where that is. We mostly fly everywhere." Yuudai added with a small laugh, they hadn't used the train in a while.
"It does get darker here, though you should be fine spending time here, time seems to move slower here than in the human world, a week here is just a day or so there." Yasuo added curious as to how that happened himself, they are two different worlds so it's possible after all. "So where do you plan on going first, there are quite a few interesting places in the desert, like a weird ruin, there's also a valley full of Dragon Digimon." Yuudai exclaimed seeming excited about the latter one. "But you might want to avoid that, the ones living there ain't the friendliest dragon's around." Yasuo added warning the two of them.

She soon closes her notebook, and grins slightly. "...I'll go with the ruins first. Dragons aren't my thing. Besides, there's probably more things that interest me in unclaimed ancient tombs than a dragon filled crag." The green haired woman sighs, moving some of her hair out of her face. "Thanks, you two. Oh, and Shi, of course." She seems a whole lot more relaxed now, given that things have become less urgent and more about things she's curious of. "And you can fly? How is that? ...Okay, you don't need to explain that, I'm just surprised that you can." The questions just keep building up, so she decides to stop it.
There's actually something on Dorothy that's easy to miss, a small detail: A little red ribbon, tied into a bow, wrapped around one of her front legs. It's a small detail, something that Alice and perhaps even Dorothy herself aren't aware of, but it's there, and also on Shi's sketch of her as a result of noticing it. "What'cha lookin' at?" The Tsukaimon looks to Shi with a smug expression. It seems to be something that's always been on Dorothy.
"...Wait, wait..." Alice just realizes what's been said about how time passes here, and she seems genuinely shocked. "Are you saying time here goes faster than back home?! That's not... Guh." She holds her head for a moment, closing her eyes and only opening them after a minute passes, returning to her normal stance when sitting. "Okay, maybe you're right and this place is impossible to explain or make sense of." Despite that, Alice still seems determined to get answers... Maybe she just doesn't know when to give up, if ever. "I'm sure there's a reason for everything... Even if it isn't something I'll ever find out. That's the thing that's actually got me so interested. All these questions, things that don't make sense. Maybe I'm just weird like that." She chuckles to herself briefly before returning to the subject of the ruins. "How far are these ruins from Rustport?"

"No need to thank us, we like helping others out, plus we seem to run into a lot of people new to the Digital world, gets easier to explain after a while." Yuudai mentioned with a small laugh, it was weird that they found a lot of new tamers but someone had to tell them. Yasuo though heard her question and despite her dismissing it. "Wait your partner didn't tell you about Digivolution?" He questioned looking at Dorothy for a second, that was like the first thing Yuudai shouted at Shi when he arrived.
Shi noticed the ribbon and it indeed got into his sketch as he almost didn't hear Dorothy ask what he was looking at, without looking up from his paper her just said. "Looking at you." Before getting back to drawing, he did notice the smug expression but something like that was trivial to Shi by now.
Yasuo watched as what he said made Alice to a double take, he felt a bit bad but in the end it was the truth, better know now then later. "Yeah all of it is weird, I've been trying to figure it out myself, well we have. But more questions seem to arise then answers it feels at times." Yasuo said with a small sigh. "You're not weird, stuff has to work for a reason, wish we could tell you more but we don't even know how we were made, heck know more about the human world then our own." Yuudai mentioned with a small laugh, it was kinda funny. "It's not that far, Go outside and to the east, eventually you'll find most of the ruins sticking out, might take a bit to find an entrance if you want to go inside though." Shi mentioned tapping his pencil on his notebook for a moment. "I actually don't know if they're dangerous or not, never checked them out myself." He added recalling he never really visited the place before.

"...She did, but didn't really elaborate upon it. I did see someone else back in the... Let's call it the Human World for simplicity's sake who told me that Digimon change forms and get stronger over time and in times of crisis." Alice slowly nods to the Agumon, recalling what she saw, particularly that large, menacing cat-creature who was supposedly the partner of someone who was younger and much less responsible. "Dorothy says she wants to get stronger every now and then, but she doesn't seem particularly strong herself. I guess it just happens differently for everyone." The green haired Tamer finishes her glass of water, and stands up, glancing around for Dorothy until she realizes her partner's not too far away. "You two are definitely more well-behaved than her. It's cute... As for you, Shi, I want to thank you for being so helpful. Wish I had more than that to thank you with, though."
Dorothy is just staring at Shi like this is some kind of staring contest now. "What, do ya think I'm adorable or somethin'?" She's probably a bit of an attention seeker, judging by that comment.
"Well... Perhaps I should head to the ruins soon. Hopefully I won't end up lost in the desert for real..." Alice stands up, and picks up Dorothy, the little Tsukaimon wiggling in her Tamer's grasp. Alice herself seems a whole lot less afraid now, knowing that there's others out there who are willing to help if she does get in trouble, even if they won't always be there. "If there's any way I can contact you when I need it, please tell me. Heck, it might be useful for contact with others who have Digimon, not just you. Aside from that, though... I feel pretty ready to head out again." Maybe she's just too curious to focus on much else, who knows. "Now that I'm curious, I might as well. Or maybe you can come with me. Who knows."

"Yeah that, me and my brother can Digivole as far as it allows, most of those forms include flight." Yuudai pointed out seemingly proud to promote his strength. "Initally it's usually caused by a crisis but once you get to it once it gets easier and easier the more you practice" Yasuo added not sharing in his brothers pride nonchalant about the whole thing. Though when the thing about them being well-behaved came up Yasuo gave a small laugh. "Well, I always was, Yuudai on the other hand." before he finished though. "C'mon bro, gotta bring up old wounds." Yuudai complained making Yasuo stop. "It's fine, Happy to help. Humans gotta look out for each other in this crazy world."
Though with Dorothy now staring at him he figured it was time to just show it. "a little I suppose but I was mostly doing this." Shi mentioned showing the drawing he made of her, it was just a sketch but he did manage to get what she looked like down. "I draw most of the Digimon I see, become sort of a hobby." If asked he would show more pages, including Yuudai and Yasuo's evolutions.
"Sadly phones don't work here, sad cell servers don't cover world hopping." Shi pointed out, to his knowledge there wasn't really a way to stay in contact in the digital world. Shi thought about the ruins for a moment thinking on how he did say he had never been there. "We can join you if you want, probably safer to be with a group on your first adventure anyway." Shi offered since she did say that last bit.

Alice smiles at this. It's a bit more genuine than her previous ones. "Yeah, everyone's different. And yes, I probably would have made a fool of myself if I didn't run into you. Imagine the embarrassment I would have had trying to call someone from in the Digital World, or getting in trouble with some of the locals." She returns the glass, and heads back to the three one last time. "And you're free to go follow me if you want. I'll probably look around here some more until things aren't nearly as hot, but I'm definitely taking a look at some of the ruins... There's bound to be something interesting there."
Dorothy's face suddenly beams as she sees the pictures, her eyes wide with childish glee and excitement. "You're so much better than Alice at drawing! Her doodles are pretty dorky!" Not exactly a true statement, as Alice is pretty good as well, though that might just be Dorothy's preferences showing through. The sketches of both Yuudai and Yasuo's other forms are something she's particularly interested in. Soon, Dorothy looks back to Alice with her bright yellow eyes. "I wanna be cool like that someday, ya know? Maybe we should go on our adventure... Like, now maybe?"
"All right, all right..." The green haired Tamer sighs, her Digimon nearly wiggling out of her grip... And then succeeding. "If you don't see us at the ruins, we'll probably be on our way to Terminus... Unless something gets in our way or we discover something worth looking at. You think we should get going, or would a better look around town be a good idea? I don't think Dorothy will be patient for much longer, though..."
"I want to go now!" Dorothy insists as she floats up, flapping her large purple ears to gain height.

"Sadly I don't have to imagine it, I've seen it, one time with some kid and a spider. It makes more sense in context, Maybe I'll tell you about it some other time." Shi mentioned but quickly waved it off feeling it would take long to explain. "I suppose, after all, ruins do sound like a great chance to find something out, I have to do something in a bit so I'll meet you there if I finish it up fast." After all, Shi was doing something before he met her, while it might seem otherwise as he has a tendency to mess about.
"I'm sure she's a fine artist, no such thing as being better than another, least that's what I think." After all different strokes for different folks. He made sure to affirm to himself he meant that in an artist since. "Hey she's as impatient as you." Yasuo mentioned nudging his brother. "Better than being slow like you." Yuudai mentioned nudging him back.
"If I was honest I'd say waiting for a bit would be for the best but. I know how bad an impatient partner can be so might be better to just head out, the ruins are covered anyway so you can just wait till it's later in the day then." Shi mentioned offering his two cents on the matter. Though Yuudai seemed to give him the stink eye when he mentioned a partner.

"...Thanks for everything." Alice nods, trying to give a warm smile to Shi. "We'll try to be safe out there, and you three should stay safe, too." The green haired woman seems about ready to leave, but she seems worried at the same time. What if she doesn't come back from her expedition? What if she ends up stuck in the Digital World forever for some reason? Alice casts those doubts aside for now, knowing that thinking about them will only make things worse. "I know it seems a little reckless, but what's life without some danger?" She chuckles to herself, probably a bit excited to explore as well.
"Yeah! See ya dorks later!" Dorothy giggles, only to be glared at slightly by Alice, and then the little Tsukaimon corrects herself somewhat. "Okay, okay, you guys are really cool for helpin' us out." She's surprisingly honest as she says this, as if most of what she does really is a bit of an act to some extent, an enormous ego that gets in the way of most of what she does. "Now, to adventure!"
"Oh, well..." The green haired woman rolls her eyes. "Sorry for my Digimon's attitude... You probably know how things are." She seems awfully patient for putting up with someone like Dorothy, but then again, this is all a very new experience for her, and one she can't afford to screw up, lest she remain stuck in the Digital World forever. At least, that's how she feels in her head. "I hope to see you somewhere else along the way back home. Until then, goodbye... Now, let's go, you little brat..."
And with that, she leaves without another word. What a strange person.
