Before she truly learned the art of meditation...
K had to admit she didn't know how to do this; the cores within her didn't really offer much light to how to do this whole meditation thing. She had taken quite a bit of time, sitting around thinking about things and not really getting anywhere.
Sure after talking with Mikemon and spending a couple days within whitewater enjoying her time there... She figured she would be able to do this rather easily. That the white furred renamon would be able to enter into her own mind on her own, meditate in such a way that would give her a semblance of understanding to herself and continue forward was somewhat incorrect.
She felt that she had a long way to go considering that all that she ended up doing was fall asleep on the stump or fall out of groove that she had managed to get in on. The gentle echoes that she felt in her head weren't doing her any favors either.
The renamon took it upon herself for the meantime to wander in the forest here; or whatever you could consider this place. A jungle maybe? The foliage itself was thick enough to make it difficult to traverse if she wasn't able to fly a bit or teleport from time to time.
It helped her muse as she moved, but it wasn't as deep and meaningful as she wanted it to be. It wasn't the sort of thing she thought she would be doing and that was really starting to bother her. She should really be taking her time to try to really figure this out, she really needed it and wanted it something bad.
She wanted these echoes to stop, but ultimately she wanted to understand the problems she had and the way to solve them. So she strives for something else that she wasn't sure if she'd get.
She was striving for understanding.
But truly she didn't seem to get that it wasn't understanding she'd get as she trudged through the jungle during the midst of this cloud filled day. But it was perspective. Whether it'd come easy is beyond the renamon as she hopped over a pair of large roots...

In retrospect, perhaps a jungle in the Southern Tropics wasn't the safest place to be wandering around. Granted, it was easy to feel this was beneath her notice - after triumphing over the prison and facing death itself, how dangerous could a simple walk in the forest be? Having spent most of her life near a thicker forest, K definitely knew better than to take it lightly.
In all likelihood, though, K was probably distracted by this newfound thought of meditation. In trying to push everything out of her mind, to listen to the voices in her head, she might feel like she had to separate herself from the world. Still, despite her strength?
Compared to one who lived in the forest, the Renamon was probably way out of her depth.
It wouldn't be in a clearing or in any particular area, but at some point, K might pick up the sound of hissing air, somewhere off to her right. And unless she immediately ducked, the fox would feel a sharp pain in her right side, caused by a several inch green needle aimed just in front of that cloak. Should she have felt that needle sunk in, the fox might have had time to pull it out and look at it, before her eyelids would grow very heavy.

Could she admit to herself that she was wrong? Could she admit to herself that she was still scared about things? That she was still that innkeeper out of her element completely and just trying to make by? Even if she had done so many things to help others and help herself. Would it even matter in the end? She gritted her teeth and contemplated then and now. Both were important and she found herself pausing next to another tree blinking a few times as her pace slowed.
The silence that was brought with her stopping sort of irked her a bit, she figured this place to be more lively. She figured this place to something like when she was here once before, something that was to be feared and respected but definitely not silent.
She'd stretch a bit and one of her ears quirked as she could hear the hissing but she wasn't sure what it was. She'd turn slightly and then gasp as she felt a sharp sudden pain in her right side. Her hand jumped down to the source of the pain along with her attention being diverted to it. She could see this needle; she could feel the pain that radiated from it.
But worse still? Even as she pulled it out she felt her eyelids grow heavier than she expected and a thought started to emerge as she could feel this... Sleeping venom? Of all things start to kick in that she was foolish to come this deep.
That she should of stayed where it was safe.
But that did little for her now.
With an exasperated sound she'd yank the needle out completely even as she fell to her knee's struggling to keep her eyelids from closing. Struggling to fight against this feeling that was now going to overwhelm her. It was not something that she was expecting here. For her to be attacked so soon made her wonder if she had really changed at all...

Unfortunately for the Renamon, whoever or whatever attacked her had the sense not to come into the clearing until its prey was fully incapacitated. At this point, she might notice a heavier ruffling of the foliage around, but her attacker would not come into sight. No: she'd be left on that makeshift path, first falling to her knees, then likely over in a slump, falling unconscious in the several seconds that followed.
The Renamon had only one blessing: it hadn't been night.
Perhaps to her surprise, the Renamon would eventually awaken. The venom still in her system left her in a definitive, groggy state, but it would be enough to get a sense around her. For one, the fox would see a faint motion of leaves in the background, but very little light perking through: it was the dead of night, the only light coming from Jesmon's crest on her arm.
If she would try to move, though, K would realize that her fate hadn't been that simple. Her arms were held off to her side, and her legs held below, ankles held together. A thick, white thread with a greenish tinge had been wrapped around each... as well as several sections of her torso.
Yes, K was strung up in a spider's powerful webbing. If she looked below, she'd see her captor, a Dokugumon (X) resting on the web several feet down, currently inspecting another piece of bundled webbing. Each of its steps left a vibration in the web. Though...
... As she was, the Renamon might feel helpless. This green thread, in stark contrast to the white the rest of the web was made of, was seeping a simple paralytic into her. Not enough to seal movement, but enough to make any Rookie technique fizzle in uselessness. Though, would K know that?

She could feel that poison seeping into her, that strange sense of heaviness get so overbearing that she could barely keep herself going. That following slump only was punctuated with a heavy sigh of frustration before the world had gone black.
What was she thinking?
When her eyes finally cracked open she could feel the heaviness of her eyelids still. She could feel that sleep effect on her quite well even; it was in every portion of her body and even made her feel helpless for a few moments. She needed to get her bearings and it wasn't helping with how dark it was.
The only real light was coming from the sigil on her arm, which only served to make this scene worse in her eyes. She'd try to move only to find she couldn't her arms were held off to her side and her legs were held below. There was a faint moment where she felt panic try to seep it's way into her and she'd grit her teeth in frustration.
It didn't take her long to see her captor; which only meant that she was the target for some kind of food. There was a few oments where she tried to consider what to do, she could maybe try to teleport out of this?
A few moments past and she'd attempt Displacement only to find that her body wasn't really listening to her. The faint shifting of her body when her ability fizzled only made her lay her head back in disgust.
Why weren't her Techniques working? Would digivolution work?
But if it did wouldn't her form still be slowed by the poison this spider put on her? There were a frustrating array of questions and the renamon was stuck watching the spider. The last question in her head was simple.
What was it going to do to her?

The Dokugumon might have been feral, but that didn't make it any less capable. In fact, it made the spider quite perceptive to several senses the fox might have never thought of, like vibrations in the web itself. K's attempted 'Displacement' had failed, but the shift was enough to send a noticeable ripple across the web. Previously occupied, the Dokugumon gave a surprised, questioning hiss, its yellow helmet and green eyes turning to the source. Was this one trying to get away?
Then she just volunteered to be at the front of the line. Abandoning that other heap of webbing, the mass falling limply to the ground, the Dokugumon stepped up the web, easily moving from line to line, until it would be bearing right down over the trapped Renamon, its mandibles clicking just several inches away. Looking square at the fox, with a small click inside, another mass of poisonous thread start to spread over. This time?
He was making the effort to encapsulate her completely.

K wasn't sure what to do in this situation; the fuzzy feeling of the venom from earlier was still there and making it quite difficult to think. Whatever venom it had injected into her seemed to also be affecting her moves somehow; making it impossible to use them at her current level.
Her attempt at shifting out of the webbing only served to draw the ire of the Dokugumon; making the renamon freeze at the hiss. It had noticed her? Was it something to do with the webbing? She really didn't know how this spider digimon worked even if she had fought a more zombified version of the beast.
She watched silently as the Dokugumon dropped whatever was in the webbing that it had near it. It was going to come up to her; that much she could tell. It was mere moments before the Dokugumon stepped up the web quickly moving line to line.. Before it was inches away from her, mandibles clicking and readying to do something.
She returned the gaze with the small hope it'd stop. That it would cease in this action as struggling at the moment would likely just raise it's ire further. Then the webbing started to spread over her. Her eyes widened in surprise and she tried to move her head out of the way.
She couldn't just sit there, but with how drowsy she was feeling at the moment that was all she could do. Her moves weren't working still and she could feel that displacement had still triggered but..
She was in a tight spot.

This way, there would be no surprises for the insect. The Dokugumon was used to the surprised, pleading look of its prey, and K was no different. The spider cared not, nor for the attempted Displacement, as that webbing started to work over the last few bits of her fur, eyes, and ears. She was soon bound, unable to even see her attacker.
There would be a moment of pause, as the motion in the web noted that Dokugumon was moving - not away, but to position himself closer. The Dokugumon wasted no time: it would strike forward at that hapless Renamon, fangs piercing through the cocoon to lock across her back and stomach. Should they sink in, the spider would keep hold, side mandibles further chipping away at her shoulder and leg. No doubt was left for the spider's intent: left uncontested, her fate would be similar to the small bundle of webbing the spider had abandoned earlier.

The struggling she was bringing only served to usher on the Dokugumon's proccess. In fact it did nothing to alter what happened to her in the least. There was a grunt as she was quickly bound by this webbing. Quickly bound by the Dokugumon which of course left her alone unable to see and unable to do much of anything. All that she had for a moment was herself and it was by far the second most frustrating feeling she had ever felt.
Are you okay with dying again?
The icy question that blasted through her mind made the Renamon freeze; eyes widening as the voice wasn't that of Jesmon's or Examon's but her own. it was so pure and unaltered that it might as well be her. But there was no time to muse about it as the Dokugumon striked forward at her. Piercing through the cocoon to lock across her back and stomach causing the Renamon to cry out in pain. The Dokugumon would find easy purchase with her stomach as it still had the scarring that hadn't quite healed on her chest.
The chipping away at her shoulder and leg mixed with the sheer amount of pain she was feeling from the bite kick started the Renamon's mind. The pain was something much more intense than she was used to feeling on her own. Even with her death at the hands of the D-reaper she had been kicked out of her digivolution because of damage not because of the pain. She began to run through what she could do.
She had to do something. But what? She needed to do something else she would be killed and absorbed without a doubt. But she was struggling to come up with anything.
The pain was overwhelming her.

Of course, K's self-introspection wasn't going to help her so much, nor would it stop the spider from feeding on its prey. Practiced as it was, the Dokugumon's jaws were locked right around where a Renamon's core would be, which would be just about where K's multiple cores resided: right near the middle of her chest, just at the bottom of the ribs.
The spider knew, with most, that the struggling would stop soon: its poison-laced fangs were already deep within its prey. And so, he'd started to siphon, that familiar blue glow growing around the spider's fangs. K's body would soon grow cold, data pulled away from her frame, as well as her core, siphoned into the spider's own frame. In a higher form, she might have been an ample feast, but as a Renamon K wasn't too much different from her kin, at least not yet. In fact, the spider was entering its last steps in taking this fox:
Left like this, the Renamon might be forced to slip down into a weaker form only after a few seconds. And with the jaws around the center of her data, she wouldn't be spared that grip...

The problem lay within where the fangs were. They were rested in such a place that made it prime for absorbing data from her. From absorbing energy from her; it was a frustrating location to say the least and made struggling for her difficult to really do. She could feel the draining sensation start to pick up.
She could feel that poison start to pump into her, while it started to siphon properly. She'd let out a pained gasp at the duality; the feeling of her losing data away from her frame and core going into the other digimon. She didn't know this digimon could do something like this. She didn't know that spider type digimon could siphon data off of others without digitizing them. That made them so much more dangerous she could barely react.
She'd painfully shift in the webbing feeling her data drain away slowly but surely. it didn't take long for the renamon's form to shudder in the webbing and shift down on it's own to that of her Viximon form. It was much weaker than her rookie form and had no cloak. But the shift in size didn't even help her.
If anything it just made it worse for her as she now couldn't struggle at all. She wheezed softly as she felt her data continue to siphon into this monster that had jumped upon her. At this rate she would fail those that she had promised things to, and promised to help or protect.
Even at your weakest most pitiful moments.... You think of others.
All she could do is squirm in the Dokugumon's grip. It's siphoning force making it next to impossible to do anything at the moment. After all now she was just an in-training against a champion of all things.
Does that matter? You've touched upon the Knights and the Lords themselves K.

Just another catch.
If the Dokugumon could talk, that might be the thought in its head. The title of Knight meant nothing; the Jesmon and Examon meant nothing, the encouragement from the Mikemon back in the city meant nothing. Though the smaller form was no longer in contact with the Dokugumon's webbing, that was little more than a consolation for the Viximon in way over her head. The spider figured its prey completely helpless, even if it could still squirm in its grip.
One small movement of the fangs shifted the grip: instead of holding K between those draining fangs, the Viximon would instead be held right inside, trapped between those mandibles. Pulling the in-training form free of the webbing, the Dokugumon gave a hiss, groaning around K's ears.
She had but a moment: head tilting up, he made the effort to swallow this weaker form!

K could feel the weight of this event settle firmly on her and her alone. She could feel that this would affect no one but herself and this Dokugumon. She'd be just another foot note in the digital world. Her form shifted in the grip of the Dokugumon, trying her damnedest to get out of it but there was nothing her form could do against the raw difference of power.
On the bright side? She was free of most of the touch of the webbing and her head had started to clear.
On the downside the fangs shifted the grip they had on K, instead of holding them between the draining fangs she was held right inside. Trapped between those mandibles the Dokugumon pulled her free of the webbing. But before she could do anything the Dokugumon hissed which sounded much like groaning to her. Making the Viximon shudder.
She lost the moment she was given, and because of that was quickly swallowed by the Dokugumon. The panic she had felt earlier returned in droves threatening to overwhelm her as she could feel herself starting to be absorbed by this digimon in more ways than one.
In the end, you're nothing. You return to the nothing and you find yourself wanting.
She tried to scramble against the inner workings of this beast only to be forced down further.
When you started you were merely a child, given shelter by a Kindly pair. Your mother and father.
She could feel the pain start to well up through her body, gasping as it heightened by the voice droned on.
A renamon of which you took after; in kindly spirit.
She struggled and writhed in a much more hectic manner the voice not bothering to admit her discomfort.
But your kindly spirit cannot match the sheer raw power of a WereGarurumon.
The negativity of the voice was all that she could hear at this point. But it did have a good one; it was frustrating to admit that she was in over her head. That she had been too foolish in her own, on her own to consider the dangers. Was she so used to others helping her that she couldn't help herself?
Your mother passed to you. Your father moved elsewhere.
There was a drawling pause.
You may be the culmination of data between two knights and a core. But you're still a child K. Become more than that.

Ugh, what an annoyance.
The Dokugumon's hypothetical thought filled his mind, as that Viximon had finally been taken in. She was just one of several in the forest to him - no, his frustration was more personal. Not even feeling the struggles of that catch, the spider turned around in the web, trotting back down to that first fallen heap. He'd already had secured a meal for the day - the Renamon was meant for the following day. But his fangs had already torn into this first one before - poking it with a foot, seeing remnants of the data flicker out, the spider gave a growl.
This catch had expired before he could drain it.
For a forest creature, a lost meal was a bit of a monumental matter, but it only proved as a footnote of how much the Viximon mattered in this moment. In half a minute, she'd have gone through the air in her lungs - half a minute after that, she'd fall unconscious.
Should she fall here, there would be no way for the cores to scatter...

The rising panic was real as the voice slowly left her alone. What did it mean that she was still a child? What did it mean about all the things that it said? These thoughts were interrupted as she could feel the Dokugumon move making her fall over within them.
There was the frustrating thirty or so seconds.
She could barely breath, she could barely do anything. She was going to die here and would become just a part of them. She would return to nothing as the voice said. She needed to do something but what? Her data had been siphoned a bit and she felt considerably weaker as each second. As the Dokugumon's body naturally started to siphon off of her as she was within the beast's right to do so.
She could feel herself start to get weaker and weaker. Start feeling the darkness around the edges of her vision. This was really it wasn't it? How could she of let this go so far?
When was the last time you really went for it? Like really went for it?
This line, when she last visited the deepest parts of her mind rang through it like a powerful echo. It blasted away the darkness that threatened to overwhelm her. It blasted away the doubt that clouded her mind.
With a breathless roar of such passion, such hate and primal fury the Viximon digivolved.
It was not something she'd do normally but this wasn't normal, this was her life. Her service to others, her service to herself. She had things she needed to do. People she loved, people she wanted to see again and people she wanted to help.
It was the Dokugumon's mistake to swallow this digimon as her body shifted to many times larger than that of the Viximon. To many times larger than the Renamon. To that of even larger than the shutmon form she kept to herself.
She was done being the small one, She was done being the prey.
She would be in control, she would be the one to fight for those that could not, that would not in fear. She would be the one that they needed or wanted to be there. She would be everything that the digital world desired and more. Her passion burned brightly amidst her digivolution and whether or not she shredded through the Dokugumon was besides the point.
"Plasma Blade"
Even if she had remained within, her cutting blade made of thin long energy sprang out of her gauntlet and would allow her to pierce the inner most workings of this predator she had deigned to make her prey.
Become more than you are.
The voice rumbled deep within her and she'd let out a roar of such magnitude that the trees themselves would shake from it.
"I WILL BECOME A PROTECTOR OF THIS WORLD."
