The renamon shrugged a bit at the idea of being a bit grand about it; but it was their decision to have her teach them. She wasn't a teacher nor was she some regular mon at this point. What was she really supposed to call them; with a small sigh she'd shake her head gently drumming her fingers against the stump.
"I'm not trying to sound grand, I can't exactly call them students can I? It seems wrong somehow, but I'm hoping I can at least teach them about the dangers I've learned of and what to do about them. Spires, D-reapers... A couple other minor things, but regardless I have high hopes for them."
The renamon honestly did desire to learn a few things from them, she wanted to know so much more about the human world as it stood and it was difficult to put herself into the shoes of humans in the same sort of way.
Realistically she wanted to answer the mikemon right away but her sudden dip in her condition wasn't exactly doing her any favors. She'd run her hands along her muzzle and gaze at the mikemon giving him a small look which was quickly followed by a shake of her head.
"Normally no, but it is the sixth one."
The renamon kept her breathing stable, shuddering with each increasing echo that threatened to overwhelm her for a moment. The renamon flinched as it felt like it was a roar at one point before quieting down considerably with a very powerful statement that not only made her shudder. But the stump underneath them writhed with the bleed off of her energy.
"If this is what comes first, then that means I need to know and understand the four remaining keys."
There was an odd pause and the echo hit her so hard her physical form crackled again, sending out a small but somewhat localized pressure hike than she normally gave out. It was very intense for all but a moment but it quickly calmed itself as something else decided to reveal itself to her.
The sixth key is yourself
The renamon's eyes widened a little bit and she'd put a hand to her head. The mantra kept rotating and with each rotation she was greeted with the stunning realization she had all six keys within her knowledge. Now all that she needed to do was learn them.
"....The sixth Key is yourself huh... Oddly fitting."
Her voice was barely a whisper and the renamon shook her head; she could feel goosebumps up and down her form. It was strange really but the renamon couldn't help but feel like she was still missing something.
"It still feels wrong somehow, like I'm missing another key. But it's a gnawing sensation...."
She'd sigh softly and rub her muzzle, her form crackled from time to time but it was more because she seemed to be on the edge of something vastly strange.
"...Oh and yes Aegis is a team based around defending the human world from Digimon. But they are a fledgling group with only a few members. They don't want to fight everything, but they want to be smart about it. I was brought in in my first visit to the human world and they explained a lot of things about the human world I didn't know."
She'd exhale softly and rub her temples as she heard that voice from when she was deep within the spider.
Something is wrong love, there's still another Lock. But it's really strange looking in comparison to your normal one.
...What?

What else could the Mikemon do, but sit there and support her? It was difficult - it was clear that she was struggling, but it was also clear that the Renamon needed a great deal of focus. Was it better to massage her thoughts, encourage her, or stay silent?
For as long as the Mikemon knew K, he decided on the latter two. A simple grip on her hand would remind K that she wasn't alone, she perhaps able to give a look into his confident, reassuring gaze, one that told her to keep at it. Even as the form trembled, and threatened to break into one of her higher forms, K kept at it. Despite every flinch, every flicker, every 'glitch', she pressed on... and eventually?
She'd reach that plateau. Just as the stump started to grow little offshoots of growth, both threatening to bloom and crack under K's pressure, she reached it:
"The sixth key is yourself." The Mikemon repeated, mulling that one over in his head: "The analog to the Dark key of Determination: confidence in accepting yourself, rather than the drive of a selfish goal. But in a way," the cat chuckled, "That's quite the key. To start off as you did to become who you are, well..."
It was quite a challenging note to answer. And somehow, K didn't think it was her last. Was there another key, one that maybe linked them all together? The explanation of Aegis simply made the cat's ears flick, nodding in silent acknowledgement of her words.
She still seemed distracted. And with a sigh, the cat decided to give a little 'push'.
"You know better than anyone. If it doesn't feel complete, its not. Like a castle missing a cornerstone in the back. If another exists, K, well..."
The cat gave a smirk: "Maybe its been bugging you the whole time?"

The renamon shifted a little bit, she could feel the support from the other digimon quite well. He was a reasonable sort that had always been there for her, through the thick and thin of things. Most of her relationship with him had been in points of varied obnoxious moments. Ranging from her home being under threat to almost losing herself completely to the cores leves.
His silent encouragement was enough to help her pull through things, mulling over the restrained fact that she held another key if only barely. The other forms that she was gifted with seemed paltry in comparison to the six together. But they were missing something crucial.
They were missing a linking element and it was driving her mad.
"It's something that I've strived for... for quite a long time I think. It's hard to have in dark times, but in those times it can be one of the few things to pull you through. To start off so small and end up where I am, it's sort of.. strange to think about but. Not much can be said of that I think."
They both knew what she had been through, they both had ended up sharing a bit about themselves from time to time. Enough to the point of where they simply knew. Where it could simply be guessed. Then there was those words of encouragement again; he seemed to have faith in her. Quite a lot in fact and the smirk along with his finishing theory only seemed correct to her. But she didn't know how to answer him right away. She simply stayed there in silence mulling it over. Five minutes dragged into ten, ten turned into twenty...
She sat there pondering it, the mantra lightly in the back of her head. Never forgotten, just constantly allowing her the slightest bit of progress from time to time. Her eyes flickered and she'd gaze down at the mikemon, giving him a somewhat gentle pat on the head.
"I think I don't have a castle yet, I've got all the blocks. But the foundation isn't laid yet. I'm missing that but I don't know what it is. Where it is."
She'd let out an earnest sigh and shake her head.
"Even when I was in the north, I mulled about that sensation for a bit. But made very little in the way of progress. But the silence of the place was very beneficial to me. Made me feel clear about so many different things."
She'd look down at her hands, counting the digits with each of her mantra mulling over what she had been through and what she was going to go through in the future.
"Perhaps it's better left unsaid? Maybe it's something that won't come simply but..."
There was a distinct pause and her face split into a frown.
"Maybe it's been bugging me this whole time, but for the life of me... I can't seem to find it."

Indeed, K's sense of self was one to ponder. She started as a mere consciousness, a scheme meant to hold the form of three very different Digimon together. That 'scheme' had now turned into the 'leader', one who both struggled with her identity and yet knew it ever so clearly.
Such psychological thought was not usually the cat's forte. "Its an answer you can only find yourself," the feline remarked, "no matter how interesting it would seem to the thinkers outside." With that small joke, he chuckled, but he gave his encouragement soon enough. And with it, the Renamon seemed to take it to heart, falling into trance for what felt like quite a while. She had already been at this for quite a while - so what was it for the cat to stay for a bit of this ride?
Five minutes turned to ten. Ten turned to twenty. All the while, the Mikemon rested his own paw in K's hand, as a reminder that he was still there. As K focused, the Mikemon looked across the space, just to see how much of it had changed with her presence. Yes, the woods were gnarled, prickly and dangerous, and the ground had cracked a bit in her focus, but there was a sense of life to it as well. Unlikely sprigs and flowers had sprung from the cracks, and logs long rotten sprang up with fresh life. Was she a guardian to the woods, at this point, or was this just her domain?
The idle thought passed, as that hand passed through the top of his head. Looking up, seeing the fox look down and sigh, the Mikemon let out his own. All she had were the blocks? She didn't know what she still needed?
Even after all this time, she couldn't find it? Slowly, the cat closed his eyes... and for once, offered his own perspective.
"... Maybe," he smirked, "Its not that you can't find it. But maybe its that it can't be found." Was that it? "Just for a minute, turn your thinking around. If its not there, well, there's no harm in trying."

While it had been true that at the start she had been some bi-product of a scheme she had taken that destiny. Firmly gripped it in her hands and shattered it apart like one would a dried out stick. Certainly it had taken some time to get used to being in the reigns but in the end she had definitely started to get the hang of it.
An answer I can only find myself.
The renamon shifted a little bit and stared at the mikemon, her 'trance' kicking in a little sooner than she'd of liked as she wanted to share some other things with the mikemon. Words of curiosity and such; in reference to his own keys back in the day. But as the other had already stated he hadn't put much stock into them.
The time of her 'trance' was well spent enough and she'd consider what she had said. What he had said. There were quite a few things missing still it seemed and the renamon wasn't sure how to go about it. She had tried looking and could even feel the inner sense of self shift uncertainly. Perhaps it didn't know how to find it either....
Then the Doctor was helpful enough to offer his own advice. Saying that it wasn't as though she can't find. But that it simply couldn't be found. But what was something you didn't search for and find anyways? What was something that if you...
The renamon's eyes widened a bit as something clicked, something ancient and bound tightly within her. It wasn't sudden at first like the others, it was slow but constant as though a injured beast looking for help to those of a human. She sat there silently, blinking several times as the silence continued to deepen and she'd exhale slowly.
The seventh key is silence...
It was upon this simple statement within that made such a resounding effect on the renamon's pressure and energy output that she let out a soft sigh of uncertainty.
"....You are a surprisingly helpful digimon Mikemon. How in the world you know what just to say never will cease to amaze me."
She'd clench her hands tightly into fists and murmur gently; her ears wiggling a little bit as that pressure continued to rise. But there was no malice in it, only warmth.
"Not Just six.. Seven. A strange concept if there ever was a thing as that. But it's so... different than the others."

Had that worked?
Yes it had. Only a few more minutes after Mikemon's last comment, the fox's data tensed once more in realization. Uncertainty and confusion had been replaced with brief clarity. K gathered her thoughts in slow realization. It hadn't been an 'aha' like the other moments, but rather an almost satisfied sense, as if she had 'found' this key before it had been sprung into her arms. It might have felt off because of that...
... But at her expression, and her compliment, the Doctor knew that she had found it. Giving her a nod and a warm smile, the cat returned it right back: "That you even put yourself through this undertaking is unique all its own, K. And now it seems you have all the 'pieces'." He didn't even ask for the identity of the Seventh Key - it was something that belonged to the Renamon alone, right? It was something that would hold meaning to her.
And eventually, she'd know best what it meant. "A key without pair. Not one you have, not one you find, and not one you make - it is just a key that is. It'll be interesting to see it fit its lock." That aside, the cat pressed himself closer, leaning to her side.
"What will you do from here?" The question rolled out, as his claws started to scratch gently at her back once more.

It felt odd to her to have something so profound be the answer to her question, the answer to her lock that now she had the key to. But she still didn't understand it and the four keys preceding it. It made her uncertain, made her curious and made her wonder quietly what else she might have in the future. Was this the last key of hers? Something told her yes, but there were other things that she was uncertain about. Each key seemed partial to a digivolution, but this one didn't seem to stick with any of them ones she had.
"You're not wrong at all... I may have all the pieces, but now i have to get to building them up. Two are lain near the foundation but I can't help but wonder how the others will come into play."
She'd exhale softly and lean back, staring down at the stump quietly. She'd shift her tail back and forth mulling over everything that had happened to her recently. The Doctor, Toki, Vicktor and Geneis, Carlos and Dio, Haru and Tawna... Several different individuals all responsible for some form of growth. Then there was the escapade up into the frozen north.
Perhaps there lay the answer. Where I started out, maybe it too will have something for me.
The mikemon brought a good point. It was on it's own, it wasn't the one she had, the one that she found and not the ones she made. It simply was a key that is, that was and forever be hers. Would it fit her lock? She'd slowly rub her muzzle with one hand, reaching around and hugging the mikemon with the other.
"Two I both know and understand. Four and one I only know of, but do not understand them. I feel more answers may lay in the north for me as well. So I figure after I have the understanding of the four and one... Well. I will spend time in whitewater for that week before heading up to the frozen north for answers. Back to where I had come from and see what it may hold for me. After that. I think I need to journey around again, deal with some spires if I can. As well as perhaps warning people about them. The D-reapers are a force I Don't think normal people should be made aware of as to not instill panic but those strong enough should know of them. After that, I will return to the human world and report everything I have learned to my superiors at AEGIS before working there for a short time."
There was a long drawling pause and the renamon sighed.
"After that? I return to the digital world, train my super megas further than I already have. Then I will take the fight to the D-reapers as well as the spires once more. I cannot allow them to do what they want and if I can I will find allies to aid me in this venture."

It seemed K had a plan: after her initial meditation, she would once more make her way north to try and figure out this 'puzzle of her mind'. It all had a point, of course, an endgame as a force to counter the Spires, the D-Reaper, and whatever threats there may be to the world at a time. This was a busy, full task that the Renamon had tasked herself with, and one that she would put herself at great risk performing.
There was a pause. After a few moments, the Mikemon chuckled. "I bet Examon's quite pleased with you at the moment. Maybe there's not a 'Title', but those are definitely the words and thoughts of a 'Knight in deed', K." Leaning calmly into her side, feeling that one arm wrap around his shoulder, the feline gave a light purr. "You'll set out to do all this on foot, while Stingmon and I are just responsible for filling a Council Seat. Well... I'll see what I can do on my end."
Mikemon wasn't particularly powerful - not on the same level as the fox, at least - but there was still quite a bit he could do. "And if you ever run into trouble again, well, I can be the capable doctor that gets you standing again - at the very least." He smirked, giving a light elbow to the Renamon's side. "Don't forget about yourself, alright? Fighting for the world is a noble thing, of course..."
He sighed. But at this point, what would he do without her?

There were tons of things that wanted her attention, or demanded her attention. Ranging from small things in AEGIS to the problems of the spires and the D-reapers. She didn't know how to handle the latter most problem on her own, but there were people she could rely on to inform her how to cope and how to help. If anything she'd just try to deal with the affected locations the best she could.
"I imagine not only Examon, but Jesmon as well. Perhaps even GraceNovamon were she here. Perhaps we'll see where that goes too huh..."
There was a distinct pause and the renamon sighed, giving the cat a firmer hug with the one arm. She'd dip her head in a nod when the cat told her that they would try to do something within the council. She didn't have particular high hopes for it, but she imagined that a few council members may be swayed if the cat played his cards right.
"Do your best, but make sure not to overextend yourself in there. I know politics can be brutal in their own right."
The renamon shifted a little bit and flicked her ear towards the Mikemon. She'd chuckle softly and lean into the hug, gently rubbing her muzzle against the top of the cat's head.
"I know. I just hope I don't have to constantly bother you with something like that."
The light elbow to her side made the renamon grin and she'd raise a quick brow at the sigh. What else could she really do for him? For the world as a whole? Simply being there often wasn't enough for her or him she imagined. Perhaps if she made more of an active effort once she got a proper cycle down he'd get to see her more often and they could do things.
Of course. She couldn't forget about herself; the things she would do to keep herself safe.
"I won't, trust me on that. If i need a break I'll take it, if I need to wait I'll do so. It's a lot of problems that won't be tackled all right away but we'll see."
She'd gingerly rub the mikemon's ear, humming after a few moments. There was a sobering thought she really would rather not have to think about at the moment. But the renamon couldn't just leave that question unasked...
"That reminds me. Has there been any word of GraceNovamon appearing somewhere?"

K was concerned about him dealing with the Council? The Mikemon blinked, returning a small chuckle. "Don't worry, I'm already the 'loud upstart' of the group. I'm sure a good amount of them already know where I stand on this, and its not like the problem can be ignored in the short or long term, anyway." Indeed, this wasn't a political thing to judge - an open and shut case, once they understood the scope of the situation.
As for the medical visits? He'd return that nuzzle with one of his own, rubbing against her cheek. "Trust me, I'd much rather see you in a different light than 'injured', but you're never a bother, K." And at the very least, she understood that there were those that cared for her. K might not be expected to put herself first, but between the ties she had already with Haru, himself, and who knew how many others, well, she would definitely be missed.
"That's all I can ask for." His words were warm, and for the next small bit, the two would simply enjoy each-other's company... until that one question, burning at the back of K's mind, would crop up to the front. Fortunately, the feline shook his head.
"If there was, you'd have already heard about it from me - and likely already be heading over there. She's not a small presence, of course." He had no concerns regarding that entity for the moment, at least. But were there any questions burning in the feline's mind?
Not at all - right now, he was simply content. "... I could just stay here all day..."

"The loud upstart huh? Hopefully they don't take too long to act, There's quite a few problems that will only get worse if they choose inaction."
K would shift slightly and rub her muzzle, mulling over the idea of a council controlling things. What sort of business could you expect from them? Would they work with other councils as well? Would they be partial to inaction or action? There were tons of questions she wanted to ask but she only ended up finding her face softening upon the nuzzle the other returned to her.
"Feheh... I'll remember that. Well on the bright side of things you'll get to see that side of me more often trust me. Once I've gotten the hang of things, hopefully I'll be coming back with samples of things for you along with helpful information. Among other things of course. Don't think I haven't forgotten the meals."
The renamon would give the mikemon a small wink before chuckling softly. She was more kidding on the whole aspect, she imagined when she had it rough or simply desired to see the mikemon she'd come for a visit. Hopefully the latter of the two.
"I'll make certain that you won't have to worry... trust me on that. You've done enough of it as it is!"
The answer to her question was not surprising but it did illicit a sigh from the renamon. The Space creature had not shown her face at all? Not a single armored portion of them showing up in the limelight somewhere? It sort of bugged her and all the renamon could do was shake her head.
"I should of figured as much, but you would be incorrect about that. I'm not strong enough to fight her yet. Maybe soon if I'm lucky. For now I can barely hold Super mega for two or so minutes. Well... rather last time I checked"
The renamon shifted a bit and hugged the mikemon closer sighing wistfully.
"It's very comforting having you here... is today your off day?"

Sheesh, she was still bringing up those meals? The cat couldn't help but return the Renamon's chuckle. "Try all you want, I'm still probably going to forget next time too. That said, I'll be interested to see what kind of samples you bring back. Spire or D-Reaper, there's not too much we know about the specifics." Well, he'd seen enough pieces of Spire to know that he couldn't figure out much with the fragments, but certainly there were other pieces of evidence that the Renamon could bring along?
As for the GraceNovamon, well, he had two for three right. "Your power will come along soon enough, but if she tries anything before that, she'll learn that this world's got quite a few capable tamers as it is. Its not a fight you have to take alone, either." That much was true - two minutes of Jesmon likely wasn't going to be enough for that sort of fight. If anything, they both seemed satisfied enough with their answers...
... And as K's question hit his ears, the feline returned his grip around the fox. "That it is. Guess you really can't just check a calendar out here, huh?" He gave a playful chuckle, claws digging gently into her side. "I can stay as long as you want, of course."

K sighed a little bit and rubbed the back of her head, he was right on that one. He likely would forget and just make her feel bad again! It was odd being unable to pay for some things now days, as she didn't exactly have her wallet anymore either.
"My thought is the next time I run into a tower to bring samples from both the tower and the rings if they leave anything behind. If I run into the D-reaper though I don't know if I can bring samples from them so much. Perhaps if I managed to get a scan of them or something... Might need equipment for that though."
She'd mull it over, uncertain exactly what she could bring to the doctor. But she'd have to double check with the locations that she went to if they had either of the threats there. She'd shift slightly and gently run her fingers through his fur.
"That she will, I've met some incredibly powerful tamers. Young and old; I imagine she'd get quite the thrashing from them too. I don't plan on fighting her alone but.. I am of the same mind as Examon when it comes to loading her. It's either me or she has to be banished into the sea of blood. It's too dangerous to let anyone get their hands on her data as old as it is."
The renamon sighed a little bit and she'd set her head against the mikemon's humming just a bit as he answered. She'd chuckle softly and let out a soft grunt at feeling him dig gently into her side.
"It'd be nice to have your company here for as long as you're able. It does get rather lonely even if I do get visitors from time to time. I had been keeping count of the days early on, but it seemed redundant after a while..."

True - samples of the D-Reaper would be quite difficult to bring along. "They'd probably just corrode through any sort of containment unit, so its not like transporting it is any easy task. Still, those aren't the only two things you might bring my way - maybe just patients who are ill-affected by the D-Reaper?" After hearing about what happened to that tamer and the rest of the team, well, Mikemon wanted to know how to clear that out entirely.
And it would probably answer K's silent thought as well. Feeling those fingers slip through his fur, the feline let out a heavy purr. Of course, Examon shared that concern, that the data shouldn't be allowed to persist in the Digital World. "Another burden to take upon yourself, but in this case, it should be fine. So long as you're working with that goal in mind, it might set into place..."
As the conversation winded down, well - they had each-other. In her hug, and holding carefully to her sides, the cat's purr continued to rumble out. She'd lost count of the days, left alone to her thoughts for quite some time. "... Then I can stay until the sun rises." Giving a smirk, the cat chuckled at his own comment, nuzzling right up to the Renamon's muzzle.

"Maybe if I got some kind of containment unit from the human world? It's possible that it's data might be confusing enough where the D-reaper won't be able to eat through it? If I find a patient affected by the D-reaper in that manner I'll be certain to bring them your way."
K sorely hoped that the patient wasn't going to be her. If she got infected by the D-reaper she wasn't sure what would happen; especially since her condition made her practically dense with data? She'd have to be very careful when dealing with the D-reaper stuff in general.
"I'll try to make certain that patient won't be me but... I can't control what the digital world wants of me. I don't think I'd ever want to control what it wants of me either."
She'd shake her head a little bit and gently continue running her fingers through the other digimon's fur. She shifted softly and gingerly stretched feeling somewhat out of sorts. There was always heavy conversation when the two of them interacted it seemed. But it wasn't a bad thing, it just kept the both of them firmly grounded of reality.
"It's a burden I don't mind shouldering. It's a long shot as well, but if she perhaps could be turned into an ally.. She'd be a great asset to everyone. But I don't know how likely that is."
The renamon sighed again and gave the cat a small look; raising her brows before a grin split her features.
"That sounds good to me."
