Yukiko could not deny this lady had just saved her partner, yet something about her...irked her. There was such a creepy aura about her! But the flusteredness returned, the simple fact of lack of gratitude made her feel ashamed beyond belief. Luckily, Mizu had finally regained her strength after that attack, and could speak for her. "Oh hey, you're the lady who saved me, thanks! Naaaah, I didn't eat your human, humans don't taste well, and I'd lose my brownie points with my tamer! Your human actually slipped away while I was fighting! Seems to have left his bag here, but he is gone! Sorry! Maybe he ran further into town? Those labyrinthine alleys are wonderful places to hide from thieves!" Unlike Yukiko, Mizu could lie without turning red or stuttering. With that helmet on, it was very hard to tell she -was- lying.

Genesis admittedly wasn't like Viktor in sensing the way people lied, but a lot of evidence disagreed with her facts. One such was that Viktor never left anything anywhere. He was not forgetful, and if someone had left it, he'd find it right away. The second was she could 'sense' him in a way. She didn't know exactly where he was, but she knew he was nearby and very very close. Genesis simply leaned on her back foot and rolled her eyes under her own helmet;
"Nono... he's near. I know. Come now, Seadramon, let's not lie to eachother! I just want my human and I'll be on my way. That's it. He probably told you to hide him or to lead me away? I'm telling you you're in danger if you don't help me find him. He's deadly... even for a human."
Genesis tilted her head as she looked at the Seadramon, settling a little odd that seemed very uncomfortable for her. Genesis pulled her staff and reached to tap the side of her helmeted head;
"Come closer to me. All of you."
Now she was in for it! If she moved, she'd spot Viktor without a doubt. And her patience was waning;
"I won't ask again... don't make this your problem too. Get out of my way."

Mizu gulped. Why wasn't this stupid human running away? She's putting her life on the line for him, yet he keeps clinging to her like that! For that alone she should just blow his cover! Alas, she was too nice for that. She still managed a smile. "H-H-H-Hahaha, easy there! Why would I lie to you? You saved my life, and I do not know this guy! Why would I put my life on the line for someone I never met, or lie to someone who could crack open my skull by lightly tapping me with a staff? Come on, be a dear, believe me!" She wouldn't, Mizu knew this, so she needed a distraction. "Let's just go to a cafe and discuss this reasonabl-ah-ah-ACHOO!" While sneezing, Mizu "accidentally" let loose a tiny Ice Arrow, which her closing mouth "accidentally" crushed into diamond dust which flew into Genesis' face, blinding her. The Seadramon then turned to the two humans. "Run!" She then immediately floated seawards. Yukiko caught on, and ran as fast as she could. Hopefully Viktor would take this opportunity to flee, too.

Viktor didn’t run because he couldn’t! If he even exposed himself for half a second, then Genesis would beeline straight for him. More over, the Seadramon decided to blow ice in the face of Genesis, who didn’t even flinch from it!
Viktor followed quickly behind as Genesis leapt into the air and landed dead in front of them, holding her staff out;
”There is nowhere left to run. Give me Viktor or I’ll kill you and your human. If you deliver him, I can promise that our perfect form will leave. Whitewater is too open. Salt water is the worst.”
Viktor stepped from behind Mizu and pointed at his own partner accusingly;
”Liar! You can’t control it any more than I can!”
Genesis shifted down into Renamon, only frowning as she stepped a bit closer, opening her arms as if to hug;
”I’ll take your not interfering as you handing him over, little girl? Smart!”
Viktor would stop them if they moved, telling them to let it happen. The city would stand a chance against the enraged Fox.
Genesis eventually grabbed him and pulled him in. Despite his attempts to pull away, he was more ‘absorbed’ as the two became a single, formless glob of red data that shifted around until finally there was a black a red figure crouching, it’s face that of a skull and its tails burning a brilliant red. It slowly stood up and roared. So much so that very ground shook and the beast was towering over these girls as his only piece of clothing flapped gently in the wind:
”Run back to the safety of your city. Follow me at your own peril.”
The voice was scratchy and almost inaudible. But the fox made his point clear by striking the ground, the staring intensely at them. They would be wise to heed his warning!

Yukiko actually stopped, dumbstruck, by what she had just witnessed. Did...did that human just get absorbed? W-w-w-what's going on?? "W-w-w-w-what did you do to him!?" She wanted to approach, but she was grabbed by the collar. Mizu had snatched her and spoke through the side of her mouth. "Darling, your curiosity and heroism is laudable, but there are moments when running is advisable. And this is one of them!" Her usually so confident partner seemed -terrified- by what she had witnessed. She had no idea what it was, but she knew it wasn't natural, and she was not about to find out if she could get absorbed, too. The Seadramon then quickly snaked through the alleys, towards the sea, where she'd jump in. Whatever that thing is, it likely couldn't swim! And if it could, it could never swim as well as her and Yukiko!

The corrupt Kajunemon didn’t speak... he only watched. Tilting his head as they demanded to know where the human went. They’d receive no answer. On the blank, animalistic stare if a creature that was based purely on its desired and emotions. Then they ran, as the human advised. There was no need to hunt them, they weren’t ample prey. No... Genesis acted too rash. Whitewater was too open and many threats would arise. For now, their wandering continued, simply in the opposite direction.
The corrupt fox was like a zombie. Walking without purpose, aimlessly standing in front of an object. Many who witnessed him avoided it. Not wanting whatever trouble it brought, but the D-Reaper compelled them to continue to move, and they were forced to listen. Viktor couldn’t control it, despite him being on the forefront, and Genesis was pushed down so deep, she probably wouldn’t remember any of this. All Viktor could do is listen. Told as he was aimlessly led no where and left standing for hours.
The only exception to the breaking of the biomerge this time was more infection would be placed on Viktor, that way he would be like Genesis as a D-Reaper agent. It could not risk this again. Viktor had to become compliant.
For next time, they would ‘plant’ themselves.

It was quite the sight for the denizens to Whitewater when a Seadramon burst from the alleyways and jumped straight into the sea. Seadramon by themselves were a rare sight on land, but in their city? Must've been lost!
Mizu dove deep into the blue sea, trying to escape whatever it was she had just witnessed. When she and Yukiko resurfaced, Yukiko was gasping for air, they were multiple hundred metres from the shore, and Mizu had de-digivolved back into Betamon. "Mizu! Wh-wh-what's gotten into you??" Yukiko coughed, spitting out sea water and retching at the salinity. Mizu just stared at the shore, shaking. When her tamer noticed that her partner was genuinely frightened, she actually embraced her, treading water to keep afloat. "That...that...that thing... It...it wasn't natural. Not at all..it looked like a Digimon...but it felt so...unreal..." "Shhhhhh, hey now, it's ok, it's gone now." The Betamon hugged close to her partner, still in distress. Yukiko just held her. That they were out at sea was completely secondary. What mattered now was to calm her down. It seems that they two of them would have to avoid Whitewater for a while...and whatever that thing had been. Hopefully, Viktor will be alright...
