Morgan would cautiously take some of the DigiNoir, his face twitching a bit as he tasted the drink. It wasn't something he wanted to taste ever again. Still he remembered his manners and gave a nod to Iki as he backed off. "Appreciated."
Roger grumbled and crawled around in an angry circle on the ground while the few sparks of electricity that were dancing on his skin slowly dissipated. once they were gone and he was sure he wouldn't shock Iki he too would scuttle forward to take a taste. And then another, and then another. And then whene he went in for a fourth Morgan landed squarely on his head to knock him away. "Oh come on it's good!"
"Share."
The red head laughed as she waved off Iki's offer. "Thanks but no! Hmm, there should be someone here. It's not like the babies are just going to run off on a rampage on their own, right? Maybe the guardians are busy with something?" She stood up on tiptoe to examine the area, a small frown on her face. This place being so quiet couldn't be a good sign in her opinion. She had never been here before but from the stories she had been told it was pretty active.

Iki was sure that the Digimon would like the DigiNoir, but the look on Morgan's face immediately told him that he didn't like the DigiNoir. Iki sighed. "It's fine, Morgan. I'm personally not a fan of oranges, myself."
Rebecca liked oranges, though...
Though he was surprised that Roger went up to eat some DigiNoir, even when he was clearly angered the most. Iki then watched Morgan bop Roger on the head. before reassuring them that it was fine. "You can have the rest of it if you want, Roger."
He set the can on the ground towards Roger and looked at Hiroyo. "I don't see anyone here at all. I doubt any baby Digimon are here, either... are the gates open?"

Hiroyo was so busy being pleased that Morgan and Roger had accepted the peace offering that she didn't realize Iki was talking to herself at first. She had wondered whether Morgan would take the offering or not. He tended to be more sensible than Roger, but that didn't mean he was any less capable of holding a grudge. At least for the moment he was playing along.
The red head's gaze drifted from watching the twins to Iki. She seemed taken aback at first: she blinked rapidly at him and then her mind seemed to catch up to what had been said and she grinned at him. "Ah, let me go check!" She spun about on her heel and quick-stepped over to the gate to examine it. Hiroyo reached out and shook the gates, her mouth twisting into a frown. "Shut and locked, I can probably scale them though!" She took a step back and put her hands on her hips as she examined it. "Yeah, less trouble than the baby wall at the gym!"
"I could fly over as well." Morgan remarked as he walked away from Roger who was noisily scarfing down the remains of the DigiNoir. "They would, perhaps, be less inclined to friendly conversation should they see me first and recognize me. It would lessen the chance of you being injured by a hastily-fired move. This continued silence is unnerving."
"What about spirit-user dude?" Roger asked around a mouthful of food, bits of DigiNoir dropping to the grass. "You've got, what, Falcomon? Borrow his wings."

"Right," Iki says, nodding towards Roger, knowing the seriousness of the situation at hand. "Althought next time I recommend not talking with your mouth full." Falcomon just might be what they need to get up over this gate.
"Ready when you are Iki," Falcomon says before the rest of his Spirit goes into the D-Tector.
Iki pulls a green and black D-Tector from his right pant pocket and presses a button. He extends his left hand, which is now surrounded by fractal code. In a very badass fashion, he uses his D-Tector to scan the fractal code on his hand.
"Execute!" Iki yells right before he finishes scanning. "Spirit evolution!"
Suddenly, all of Iki's body is engulfed in a bright light, which was the fractal code. After a few seconds, Iki no longer stood there in his human form...
"Falcomon!"
Using his new found power, Falcomon flies up to the top of the gate, and peers over it to see what was behind these walls.

The twins and their tamer watched Iki's transformation with varying levels of excitement. The glee on Hiroyo's face was easy and obvious to see, especially with the way she brought her hands up together in front of her mouth and was clearly beaming around them. She rocked forward and back on her feet a couple times. "That, is amazing." She said. She looked as if she was about to say more before Iki flew away but appeared to change her mind on what exactly to say. "Stay safe!"
Morgan watched calmly but intently as the Spirit User borrowed his ethereal partner's form. It was certainly useful to have someone who could easily navigate the blockade, wouldn't be as squishy as Hiroyo if it came to a fight, and wasn't currently banned from the peaceful little village.
Roger didn't seem very impressed at all. Or maybe he was? It was kind of hard to tell when he didn't have visible eyes!
Inside the village the area directly around the camp seemed as deserted as the gate itself had been. Streamers hung from the walls of the little huts closes to the gate. There was a banner laying across the central pathway, a large rip going through the middle of it. There were things thrown around on the ground as if the Digimon there had left in a hurry. The further Iki went into the town the more obvious it was that the inhabitants had left in a hurry. Would Iki go back for the rest of the group or continue in on his own?

What the hell...? Iki thought as he observed the scene. The entire village seemed deserted. He looked around at the various bits of scenery that indicated that something big went down in this area, from the torn banners to the trashed streets. He wondered if he should continue all on his own, or if he should get the others...
This scene looks like whatever caused it would be too much for him alone, however. Iki flew back down to Hiroyo and the twins, although his face looked more grim than before.
"...You three should come in and see this," he eventually said, still in his Falcomon form. "However, I recommend we all stick together. Something attacked the village, and it's likely that whatever it was is still in the village somewhere."

"Attacked? Here? Isn't it a bunch of babies? Who would want to go after them?" Hiroyo asked in shock. It seemed like she really hadn't considered that Digimon would even cross that line. Roger snorted as he quickly wiggled his way to the wall and began to scale up it.
"Idiots who can't fight, that's who!" The Kunemon replied nastily. It was clear that despite his enjoyment of battle he apparently looked down on outright bullying. "Some 'mons just can't accept that they suck so they try to grab power in the most despicable ways possible!"
Morgan was quick to take to the air. Why would he spend his time crawling on the wall when he could easily cross it after all? Witch quick and steady wing beats he was already at the top of the wall by the time Roger was half-way up and Hiroyo had only just started.
"We should go on ahead and scout out the buildings. With our greater movement we can avoid detection more easily." He said to Iki. His eyes went from Iki's face to the two currently climbing the wall then back again. "If we work our way around a half-circle with a twenty-foot radius for here we can ensure they will not face attack on the climb down."

"A bunch of creeps, that's who," Iki responds to Hiroyo's shocked question. "See, even Roger agrees." He was surprised that a Digimon like him would be against bullying... "Come on, let's get in there but stay close..."
Of course, five seconds later, the bugs go off to do their own thing, with Roger climbing the wall and Roger flying over it.
"I said stay close..." Iki says, sweatdropping. "Besides, the entrance is right here... although that could be a potential trap..." Iki turns around to Hiroyo. "I doubt you can climb that wall... it might be best if you stay here, just in case something bad happens to us." After Iki is finished talking to Hiroyo, he then flies up and over the wall, just like Morgan was doing.

"Psh, try to keep up with us!" The Kunemon shot back, his tone more friendly challenge than insult. He waggled his antenna as he shuffled around on the top of the wall for a brief moment. "Hup!" He compressed like a spring and then flung himself off the top of the wall. He landed awkwardly with an 'ow' escaping his beak before he wiggled himself right side up. "Alright! Let's do this!"
Morgan shook his head at his twin's antics, his expression fond. He hovered by Iki, his eyes shifting towards the Spirit User. He was content to let the human turned Digimon lead the way, his own memories of this place were hazy and old. "Alright, lead the way. We'll follow."
Hiroyo's eyebrows disappeared into her hairline as Iki doubted her ability to climb. In his defense he wasn't aware that her favorite hobby was scaling fake rock walls in the human world!
He also wasn't aware that her second favorite hobby was proving people wrong.
So she didn't call out when they left. She just set her jaw and adjusted her bag and twisted her ball cap around so the bill faced the back. The red head stepped forward and examined the wall, eyes narrowed as she sized it up and began catalouging possible hand- and footholds.
