"Cherry!" Dagger called out in alarm as the bright light blinded him forcing the little digimon to hold up and arm to shield his eyes. Letting his arm drop once more the Zubamon let out a strangled noise of concern as that state the Cherubimon was in. His eyes widening at the data leaking down the mega's arms as he bared his teeth glancing between the fight and the red glowing crystal around his neck torn between the will to help his friend and the knowledge that there was little he could do. If anything like Baalmon before Cherry if Dagger stuck around he'd just force the digimon to be a sitting duck defending him.
"Cherry I'm pulling back! I'll get Sorcermon! We'll figure out a way to help!" The Zubamon called out scrambling from his hiding place even falling to all fours to pick up his speed as he made his way towards the manor. Only pausing to glance over his shoulder once.
"Be safe!" He ordered before dashing for the door intent on getting aid.

Dagger's concern was well placed, but at the very least, it seemed that the Cherubimon had quickly taken the angle in the fight. Securely over the Machinedramon's back, Cherry's grapple continued to make the metal monster's armor twist and groan - though a few fierce elbows back to the angel's ribs were starting to get to him!
"Dag... ger..." Hearing those words off in the distance, the mega saw that golden glint of armor start to dart across the quarry. Unfortunately, the Machinedramon took notice of that as well, his front claws digging into the dirt in an effort to try and dart after the rookie. Its jaws opened, a fierce glow of electricity building up in its metal jaws...
... Which was enough for Cherry to panic! Grasping fully around the machine, his own body gave off a purple glow. Beneath and around the two fighters, that familiar light pulsed, the same one that Cherry used at the start of the day to create the mining space. With a heavy blast, that blinding burst of light would take hold, red trash data quickly scattering off into the air.
What followed, was silence: rock dust permeated through the air, but neither mega's silhouette managed to poke through the thinning dust. Only a moment later, might Dagger notice something: a creature, flung back, landing and tumbling in his direction.
Not a Cherubimon, but a Lopmon (X), left arm fuzzy with damage. He groaned, trying to drag himself back onto his feet. "S... safe?"

Dagger didn't see the blast coming as he darted towards the Manor intent on reaching the door and getting help. He did however feel it as the boom shook the earth throwing the rookie off his feet as he tumbled coming up on his hands and knees as he gaped in shock, awe, and no small amount of fear for his friends safety at the rising cloud of data and dust. When the small figure was sent flying from the cloud the Zubamon was quick to dart forward.
"Cherry!" He cried out kneeling down next to the Lopmon as he tentatively scooped him up.
"I'm safe. You're gonna be safe too." He murmured eyeing the way the other rookies left arm was fuzzy with damage as he settled the bunny digimon in his grip carrying him not unlike the Cherubimon had carried his injured Tamer.
"Come on. Let's get you back. I'm sure Sorcermon can patch you up and if not..." The Rookie trailed off biting his lip as he rushed towards and through the door. "Well if not Cas has a D-arc. If we can wake her long enough she can fix you. Cas can fix anything." He spoke his confidence in his Tamer and her skills unshakable. It was of course left unspoken that Cas could fix anything, but herself.

"S-safe..."
Pulled right up in Zubamon's arms, the Lopmon gave a brief nod, before curling right up against him. The now-rookie-level rabbit was definitely quite hurt, scratches and bruises coating his frame, his left arm going in and out of phase. But despite that, he didn't give a single complaint, simply going along with the metal dragon. He barely even realized that the two had made their way inside the manor, and the sudden commotion was already enough to draw the attention of the Sorcermon.
He quickly made his way to the foyer. Had this been day 2 or 3, he may have had words before he even entered, but by this point, Dagger had earned the benefit of the doubt.
And seeing Cherry as a Lopmon? The Sorcermon's staff dropped with a clatter, the white-robed wizard running over, carefully looking over the rookie's condition. He seemed shocked to see this - and there was concern in his tone, one he'd lacked for Cassandra a week earlier. "G-get him upstairs. Rest him on top of the sheets." Stammering just a bit, the Sorcermon was quick to move further back in the manor, looking for any sort of medicine he had.
The Lopmon, meanwhile, simply gave a stir in Dagger's arms. "Wizard... Wizard scared? Never seen..." He winced, tucking himself further to Zubamon's chest.
Cherry had never been hurt like this before, not since his time with the wizard - he barely knew what to do!

The commotion was indeed enough to attract not only the Sorcermon's attention, but Cloak's as well as the Kotemon came barreling down the stairs in fear for his brother. Only to find his twin holding a badly injured rookie and the Champion Sorcermon stuttering like a scared in-training. Taking a harsh breath in surprise the little swordsman quickly stepped aside as the Zubamon, with Cherry in tow, rushed towards the rooms Sorcermon had indicated.
"Hold on Cherry it'll be fine." Dagger muttered nudging one of the rooms not far from his and Cloak's open and carefully resting the Lopmon down on it's soft surface. Reaching out with one clawed hand he'd lightly hold Cherry's good paw trying to reassure the little Digimon he was not alone.
Cloak though was far from idle. Taking after the Sorcermon the Kotemon skidded to a halt watching for a moment to see if the Champion did have some way to help the injured digimon before offering his own assessment.
"Cas has a fully stocked medical kit. It's strapped to her belt. If we can get it off her it might have something in it that can help." Cloak suggested remembering all too clearly how Viktor's eyes had lingered on said kit before trailing his gaze up the Tamer carrying it with a glance that spoke of foreign hunger fierce and terrifying in it's want.

Damn it, why did it have to be like this? The Sorcermon, proven unmoved and even opportunistic against Cassandra's plight, finally showed signs of fear, of caring. Regardless if the Kotemon followed, the sorcerer would already be in his supply cabinet, looking through what he had on hand.
Painkillers, adhesive bandages, rubbing alcohol, cotton balls - these were things useful for cuts and nicks, not true damage that the Lopmon had suffered. He set those aside anyways - but damn it, he didn't have an idea what he was doing. Just as he grit his teeth, the Kotemon's voice poked through. The human, 'Cas', had a medical kit on her?
"... Would she have anything else? I would have no idea how to use anything like that." He swore under his breath, turning to walk past the Kotemon. "I'll try and see if I can get a signal sent out. If necessary, I'll have to suspend him in stasis as well... though I don't know how well I can hold two."
Damn it, just what was he supposed to do? Chance a trek out through the Dark Area with both of them in tow? Back upstairs, the Lopmon's hand gently grasped around the metallic one, simply giving a nod to Daggger.
"Cherry fine... Dagger kind. Dagger safe." He rested his head back, wincing as he sunk into the pillow. He put his neck out on the line for the metal rookie - and right now, he was paying the unfortunate consequence for doing so!

The Kotemon paused before he reached out lightly catching the Sorcermon by his arm as he moved to pause the Champion in his flight turning to face the taller digimon. "There is one thing..." He murmured thinking of how diligently his Tamer had prepared. How she so carefully hunted, bargained and collected the little slips of paper she thought would aid them. For 'emergencies' she had said, but Cloak could think of no better time to define as such. He could not use the D-arc, but Cas could and if she had the right card...perhaps they could save them both or at least lessen the seriousness of the Tamer's condition damn the consequences.
"She possess a D-arc, but not just any D-arc. Her's can effect other digimon besides Dagger and myself." The Kotemon explained quickly releasing the Sorcermon once more as he turned to make his way towards his Tamer, Twin, and the injured Cherry.
"If we can rouse her and you swear to use any ability she grants you to help her as well as Cherry I believe she has a card that might save him and one...one that if used right might ease her injuries." He added the Rookie making his way up the stairs nearly two at a time.
"We'd need to bring the Lopmon to her, but if she can be roused...Cas has never lost a patient."
At Cherry's bedside Dagger gripped his hand a little tighter frowning at the selflessness of the tiny digimon once so large. Perhaps he had been terrifying and dark, but his heart...well his heart was pure despite his prior appearance.
"Yes I'm safe. We're all gonna make it through Cherry. Just you wait. Sorcermon and Cloak are smart they won't...they'll find a way. I'm sorry Cherry. I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough." The Zubamon whispered eyes glittering with unshed tears as he looked upon his injured companion.

In his rush, as the Kotemon grabbed hold of his sleeve, Cloak would find himself pulled about a foot, Sorcermon only stopping a moment later once he realized that Cloak had addressed him. He blinked, hearing him say that Cas might have had 'something' on her, something that could help. He explained it shortly after: an advanced D-Arc, one that was able to use its cards on other targets?
The Sorcermon blinked, and soon followed along behind the Kotemon. So Cloak was making a deal - to help Cherry, he'd have to allot Cassandra to use the same power to try and help herself. "That's fine. The human's condition is poor, so much that I'd have to re-establish the stasis as soon as we're done - but whatever can be done to help the two of them, I'll allow."
The confidence in his tamer was re-assuring, even if it were only words: at the top of the stairs, he gave a nod towards Cassandra's room, before stepping off to the room Dagger had brought Cherry. At the very least, the pained Lopmon had managed to keep his consciousness, damaged as his frame may have been.
"Sorcermon smart... Sorcermon will make Cherry safe." The rabbit more-or-less parroted Dagger's words, just as the wizard would slip right through the door, giving a look at both of them. He very much wanted to scoop Cherry up in his own arms, but considering the circumstances?
"Dagger, be careful, but please carry Cherry over to your tamer's room." He didn't explain, but soon the group would join Cloak in Cassandra's room. And with a simple nod to the Kotemon, the Sorcermon extended a hand forward, focusing around the barrier.
Slowly, Cassandra's body would lower onto the bed, and the stasis field around would vanish into thin air...

"I know where she keeps the cards and I stashed her D-arc in her pouch when she lost consciousness. She just has to scan the cards. I believe I can help her do that, but you'll need to do the actual healing as I'll have my hands full with her." The Kotemon explained leaving the Sorcermon to collect Dagger and Cherry as he moved to join his Tamer's side. There floating above the bed nothing seemed to have changed. At least not yet.
Dagger though would look up at Sorcermon's approach jerking lightly in surprise as the Champion barged in and ordered him to collect Cherry. Still the Zubamon need not be told to be gentle as he carefully lifted the Lopmon into his arms unusually silent as he tried to figure out why he was being requested to bring the other rookie to his Tamer's room. While he had full confidence that should Cas been in decent shape she'd be able to save Cherry the idea of her being able to do anything in her state was...concerning. While he had mentioned that they might be able to employ her D-arc he had hoped the situation would not have been so desperate as to need it. Had hoped Sorcermon had some more tricks up his sleeve. His fear only spiking as he stepped into the room and saw his Tamer being lowered to the bed.
"Cloak is this wise? She's hurt bad. There's no way she can..." Dagger spoke up only to be cut off by his twin.
"We don't have a choice." Cloak answered the Kotemon's voice harsh and gruff with emotion. "She's strong enough for this. I know she is. The Digiarmor wouldn't have chosen to save her if she wasn't worthy of it. Power has it's price, but only the strong can pay it and Hime has already settled her debt. She can save the Cherubimon...and she can save herself." The little rookie whispered harsh and ragged in his fear and desperation as the stasis crystal melted away leaving the Tamer gritting her teeth far sharper then they should have been and arching in agony as her burnt and painfully over-sensitized flesh met the texture of the sheets. The blankets were already beginning to be stained red around her left arm, the fingers of that hand twitching in the aftershock of her damaged nerves even as her shallow panting breaths filled the air. Cloak made quick work of digging into the waterproof pouch strapped to her belt pulling out the D-arc and pressing it into her right hand holding it there with his own as he fished for the two cards he remembered Cas refusing to leave without.
Gripping them he gently squeezed her hand. "Come on Hime. Come on. I need you to wake up." He murmured crooning to her soft and low as the woman's eyes rolled beneath her lids in agony as she fought to open them. "We need you to use the D-arc. Please Hime. Please just take the cards. You have a patient. I know you've never lost a patient. I need you to use Final Prayer on the Lopmon and then...then Data Reconstruction on Sorcermon so he can heal you both." Cloak whispered and slowly slowly the Tamer's eyes opened revealing thin slivers of red even as she hissed in pain and clenched them shut. The world was bright. Too bright as she lifted her left arm heedless of the way every nerve ending in it screamed in absolute torment as she fumbled for the cards as the Kotemon pressed the first one into her palm. Carefully he guided her hand towards the D-arc cautious not to touch the twisted metal of her wrist as he helped her slide the first card.
"Lopmon..." Cas whispered tearing the name from her throat as she tried to direct the D-arc, to force the card to her will as Cherry was enveloped in bright soft golden light. In the distance one could almost hear bells.

How frustrating it must have been for Cassandra, to have to rely on her D-Arc for a patient she likely couldn't even see clearly. As she settled down on those sheets, the visible feeling of pain returning and coursing through her body, all the Sorcermon could do was step back. The helpless owner of the mansion was useless - unable to help a dear friend, without putting these two rookies' tamer at undue risk.
Despite this, Cassandra fought through the struggle. Blood poured down from her arm, even over the D-Arc and onto the card itself - and in a sheer selfless act, she followed her Digimon's wish. The card slowly slipped through, the screen pointed directly at the Cherubimon resting in Dagger's arms. A faint golden glow pulsed around, his ears twitching at something unheard to the rest of the room. His breathing started to relax, his arm beginning to normalize, as he simply muttered one word:
"Warm..."
At that, the Lopmon's form relaxed, calmly breathing and asleep in the Zubamon's claws.
This, of course, was only half the deal. Seeing the Lopmon stabilize somewhat, the Sorcermon gave a relieved sigh, before turning to face the Kotemon. "Data Recreation, right?" Setting the staff aside, the Sorcermon readied his hands off to the side. By a certain acquaintance, he was more than familiar with the 'commonly used' cards, the sorcerer giving a careful nod to Cassandra.
"It won't be perfect, but the rest of your stay should be in less agony."

Dagger remained still carefully cradling Cherry as the Lopmon glowed softly. Some of the tenseness bleeding out of his shoulders as the injured rookie stabilized, but the Zubamon's eyes remained riveted in both awe and fear on his Tamer. Swallowing the lump of terror that cloyed his throat he watched as unable to hold the card anymore the Final Prayer fluttered from Cas's fingers to fall upon the bed beside her. The Tamer was shaking badly now as she struggled to fight through the pain her teeth, fangs really...when had she gotten fangs, gritted in a silent stubborn snarl of agony and spite as her arm seized and spasmed.
"Yes Data reconstruction. It's...it's our best bet." Cloak spoke trying to keep his tone level in the face of Cas's pain as he gently pressed the final card between her blood slickened fingers as she fought to grip it.
"We're almost done Hime. Almost done. Not long now. I just need you to use this card on Sorcermon." The Kotemon murmured his words spilling out like data from a wound in his rush to assure his Tamer of her safety. To assure her she wasn't alone. Guiding her hand once more the rookie helped her slide the now blood stained card through the soaked D-arc and prayed to any gods human or digital that would listen that it would work.

So long as Cassandra still drew breath, the Digivice would maintain its light. Even as Kotemon performed most of the action to swipe the card, the D-Arc would respond properly - and with a single cast, the golden glow would surround the Sorcermon's arms, from his elbow to his palm.
He gave a nod to Dagger, beckoning him to walk closer: the Sorcermon would step over to Cassandra's side, and holding his palms out, the golden glow would extend out, surrounding them both. Of course, this was far from perfect: Cassandra's wounded state couldn't be taken care of with such a simple card, especially considering the condition of her leg and her 'off' arm. What it would do, however, was close the worst of the cuts, leaving a thin red line over the healed areas, as well as greatly reduce the pain both Cherry and the human felt. It would feel relaxing and warm...
... And, unfortunately, only last a good twenty seconds or so, before the aura would finally give out. Giving a brief glance to Cherry, the Sorcermon gave a satisfied nod, before recollecting his staff, once more pointing it towards Cassandra:
"The next time you wake, you'll be in far better hands than I can provide. Kotemon, step back." Once he did, that spell would settle into place again: Cassandra would once more be held in stasis, in a crystal 'prison' suspended above the bed.
The Sorcermon blinked... and gave a sigh.
"... Sorry. Dagger, hold off on work until further notice. I'm going to try and get a signal sent out for these two."
With no further words, he'd simply step off, the sound of his trailing steps descending the wooden stairs...

"You did it Hime..." Cloak whispered watching as Cassandra sighed allowing her injured arm to rest shakily on her chest as the Kotemon released her hand tucking the D-arc back into her pouch along with the cards before stepping back to allow Sorcermon to work. Her scarring would still likely be ugly, the red lines worrying in their own way, but the Tamer's face seemed to relax a small amount her, breathing coming a touch easier. It was unsure if she could actually hear them all that well or even how conscious she was as she peered up through the protective shading of her lashes as she half tilted her head to listen to this 'Sorcermon' Cloak had mentioned as he spoke to her. Still any progress was better then none.
"Doctors orders aye?" She whispered her voice hoarse and ragged, yet her tone still wry with humor despite the pain as she gave the Sorcermon a fanged grin. To spiteful in the face of her own mortality to die and unable to resist that passing quip in the face of death. Reaching out Cloak gently touched his Tamer wiping away some of the sweat that beaded her brow as he lovingly traced her cheek. Even Dagger came close, but was unable to approach fully with Cherry in his arms and settled instead on watching from afar the sting of helplessness still fresh to his smarting pride.
"Just rest now. Dagger and I are here." Cloak murmured as Cas tilted her head lightly into his touch before she relaxed back against the bed her face still tight with pain, but no longer the agony of before. Stepping back the Kotemon nodded to Sorcermon as the Tamer was once more encased in crystal.
Nodding the Zubamon adjusted Cherry carefully in his arms shifting nervously from foot to foot before sighing. "Thank you...I'm...I'm gonna go get Cherry settled. He should rest too." Dagger murmured leaving to situate the Lopmon back in the first room he'd had the injured Digimon in leaving his twin to stand guard for the moment. The deep emotion swimming in his Cloak's gaze enough to tell the Zubamon that he needed his space to think.

Doctor's Order's, huh?
Sorcermon wasn't going to bother correcting her right there - for the time being, all he could do was return her to the stasis, to delay the worsening effects of her injuries. Past that, Cloak and Dagger's stay at the manor in the coming days would change in tone drastically.
Dagger no longer had to get up at the crack of dawn, nor did he have to head out in the quarry. All that remained was Sorcermon's request (not even an order) to keep Cherry company, so that he didn't feel alone in his injured state. The wizard himself set up a spell to signal for help, but it would be impossible to know if it would have been received. The next several days passed by in slow, uncertain silence, with barely ten words passing between the Sorcermon and Cloak after that day.
It would be ten days later, on day seventeen, where there would finally be movement: a light shone from outside the manor, and another Digimon with an Enchanter's stone around his neck came through the front door: a Mummymon. (X)
His stance was neutral, simply clicking a cane against the ground as Sorcermon came to meet him. "Curious that you'd call for this early... shall I assume hell froze over?"
"Hmph. I don't have time for you to be clever." The Sorcermon flicked around on the spot, proceeding upstairs. "Hold there for just a moment."
Certainly this stir would have caught the two rookies' attention by now: pressing on into Cassandra's room, the Sorcermon gave a flick of his staff, lifting that 'Crystal Stasis', guiding the floating body out of the room. "Its alright. With his cover it's less than a day's travel."

Dagger did as Sorcermon asked often spending what time he was not resting with Cherry. The two would even finding themselves joined by Cloak a time or two with the twins switching out when the need to check on his Tamer became too great and caused the Zubamon to become fidgety and nervous. Before he'd had work to distract him, but now...idle claws and all that. Cloak was apt at least in keeping his twin busy even without Cas there to keep the Zubamon in line like usual. Though this likewise meant that the Tamer was not around to keep Cloak from over working himself. The Kotemon was reluctant to leave the woman's side for long for any reason and thus when Sorcermon began to move her it was certainly noticed. Nabbing his twin from the other room the two rookies were quick to appear at the top of the stairs the twins watching warily as Sorcermon presented their Tamer's crystal to this newcomer.
At least by now the pair had built up enough trust in Sorcermon to assume he wasn't just handing Cas over to someone entirely untrustworthy. That didn't stop the two pairs of golden eyes from gazing at the Mummymon skeptically.
"Cover?" Cloak asked with a curious tilt of his head.
