Ravenna is glad to see Cas again. This time, she is wearing a doctor's coat. Still, Ravenna felt a little creeped out by what happened earlier. It was hard to maintain a positive attitude after Cassius' threats. What if Raye slips up? She wants to tell Cas about the thief, but would that put both of them in danger? Ravenna does her best to act casual, pushing down her feelings of anxiety.
Cas gets the rest of the payment and hands it to Ravenna. The Spirit User happily hands Cas her book.
"I'm glad I could help! It went pretty well. Those thugs are not so scary when you catch them by surprise."
Having successfully completed her first assignment, Ravenna is pleased to have done a good job. Cas seems much happier than before. She tilts her head to the side, much like the thief did before. It felt like something out of the Twilight Zone.
(Thinking) "I actually did it! My first task went well. I'm glad I could help Cas out. But what about that thief?"
"Hey, if you don't mind me asking, why do those thugs have a problem with you? They seem to be a little unstable."
Ravenna is worried about Cas' safety. Just what is going on in Cassius' mind? Why does he have this obsession with the doctor? Maybe it was best she didn't get wrapped up in this. While Ravenna may be a talented track athlete, she doesn't have a lot of life experience. Thugs, thieves, scalpels, she had overlooked how naïve she really is. Ravenna is an uptown girl, and it may be a bit of a stretch for her to become a successful anti-thief.

Taking her book Cas carefully flips through the pages listening with half an ear as Ravenna talks before shutting the book briefly with a smile as something out of place catches her attention where it's tucked between the pages. Perhaps it is best not to drag such a young girl into such matters. Not when she can avoid it so Cas simply shrugs. "Oh well you see there are a lot of Yakuza gangs around here that owe me some favors since I'm neutral and will help those in need. The Yokai want to elbow in on their turf and think I can give them the leverage to do so. Obviously they're wrong as I'm just a no name vet, but try telling that to them." She explains with a laugh and a grin. "What can a girl do aye?" Cas adds her tone light and good natured even as she ushers Ravenna out the door with her payment. "Come see me if you're ever in need of medical attention. My doors are always open." She adds waving the girl off and hoping she makes it home safe. It's not until Ravenna is long gone that Cas flips open the book once more staring down at the photo of herself that had not been there before where it is carefully tucked between two pages. In it she is sitting in her reading nook staring up at the stars, her eyes drawn over to look like a cats. Flipping the picture over on the back scrawled in an unfamiliar hand is a poem all too familiar to Cas. Her favorite poem in fact. "Tyger Tyger, burning bright, In the forests of the night; What immortal hand or eye, Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies. Burnt the fire of thine eyes? On what wings dare he aspire? What the hand, dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, & what art, Could twist the sinews of thy heart? And when thy heart began to beat, What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain, In what furnace was thy brain? What the anvil? what dread grasp, Dare its deadly terrors clasp!
When the stars threw down their spears And water'd heaven with their tears: Did he smile his work to see? Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
Tyger Tyger burning bright, In the forests of the night: What immortal hand or eye, Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?"
