The lady that called him strange names stated a title of some sort. Dark Area maybe? Well it didn't make sense to him, so it didn't matter, in the end. He glanced around spying the lights, "Well, light ain't that much of a problem anyways, I mean, wouldn't they show 'emselves when it's all dark 'n stuff?" He remarked, "And I can see in the dark anyways, so it doesn't matter if the lights are out or anything. I wouldn't be very cool if I was afraid of the dark, huh?" He joked, giggling at himself, at something that wasn't that funny, but he seemed to enjoy himself and he was capable of laughing at himself, at the very least.
He shrugged, casually, "Well, if that's the case, I can be all delicate an' stuff, I ain't one for big flashy-boom attacks anyways, y'know?" He explained, seeming to purposely neglect mentioning his actual attack style. He stepped into the room, himself, setting himself up on the widowsill, opening it up and sitting on the edge, staring intently at the wall parallel to the shop's, seeming to be able to see something quite interesting. "This place is just fine." He remarked, scooting forward so he could lay down on his back, leaning his head lightly as his arms dangled with the palms facing outwards, staring into the room while his legs and his tail dangled outside.

"Having the camera's will help though we should all still be wary and take shifts. Does anyone have any particular positions they favor for night watch? If the twins and I remain inside we have no intentions of fighting our opponents there. We're more likely to surprise them and drive them back out into you three's waiting arms." Cas inquired and explained as she nodded to her companions and tried not to smile at the little Dark Digimon's casual claiming of the window.
"Just be careful no one pulls you outside by your tail." The Kotemon rumbled out at Dracnos even as he turned to wander over to set up his Tamer, his, and his twin's sleeping bags intent on conserving their energy for whatever confrontation might come. Dagger seemed a bit less enthused with the whole 'hurry up and wait' situation that seemed to lay before them.
"I guess we can take turns keeping an eye on the monitors as well." Dagger grumbled with a slightly disappointed sigh having expected this whole thing to be a bit more exciting and earning flick on the nose from his Tamer for his efforts.
"Hush. Rest while you can." She suggested with an amused huff.

"Ah dun worry about it... This place was made out of pretty much junk anyway! A hole or two ain't gonna be too bad if we need to fix it up." Pekomon smiled, not particularly bothered by potential collateral damage. One of the biggest perks of living in Rustport was that buildings were very easy to fix up if needed. Nonetheless, seemed all initial setup was in order for this lil' hair-brained scheme of his! "Well that should be it now... Also, Lalamon will make sure y'all have a set of keys so ya can get out if need be... Just be careful if some weirdoes DO come by, and try to not bust the place up too much!"
Soon enough, the sun began to set down in Rustport as Digimon of all kinds soon began retreating into their homes as the desert city took on a very different feel as the coming of night approached. The air itself felt leagues cooler than it was in the daytime, no clouds to obscure the night sky and space. In a few more hours, it soon enough an hour before midnight... About time to get to work.
With Pekomon already out of the store, Lalamon was the only one among you all whom was still in the vicinity. Checking up on those downstairs, the plant Digimon softly hovered in the air as they gave a nod to you all. "Well... I will be retiring for the evening myself. I know I've said before I don't think this is completely necessary, but Pekomon really seems to appreciate it... so thank you."
It didn't take long for Lalamon head back upstair, turning off the lights to the shop back in the main portion of the story, making her way outside before locking up the shop.
Soon enough, silence.

Basile listened to DracNos's probably on point description of himself. Basile didn't laugh, but he couldn't stop the smirk that eventually stretched across his face as DracNos decided he was cool and that he wouldn't be cool if he couldn't see in the dark. A more touchy individual might have gotten offended. Hm... So the Virus wasn't an attention grabber when fighting... interesting. He'd kind of assumed most Champion Forms were similar to Cinder. Meh, He supposed that was better for the Stores general well being right? Lord knew Cinder took a morningstar to the word subtle and smashed it into a million pieces regardless of her own form.
He analysed the battle strategy that Cass mentioned, it may not have been an actual battle strategy. But Positioning was important in battle, too many digimon engaging at once could very easily end up with the 4 digimon getting in each others way. It was a fair strategy he supposed, have the Kotemon and Zudamon inside and when the thief or thieves show up, digivolve and drive them back into DracNos and Cinder. It'd be a hell of a pincer trap to be caught between, not easy to escape either. Two probably Swords-mon in front and Firamon behind... plus whatever the hell DracNos was going to do to them. 'Cinder is most certainly area of effect fighter. She doesn't really do subtle'
Basile spent most of the afternoon and evening thinking, Not about the mission. God, there was only so much you could plan for before you went insane. He was lost in his own memories, only really snapping out of it when directly spoken to or addressed. A happy gathering in the human world, a not so happy gathering in the desert. Lightning running through his body and the pain it brought with it. He couldn't help but darkly speculate that he might get hurt again... It wasn't exactly something he was...looking forward to... Was he afraid? The thought alone galled him, but he was notably on edge and there was no other reason for it! his hands were ever so slightly shaking before he got himself under control.
OOC - No cinder portion this time cause she's still asleep.

DracNos stayed immobile as everyone settled into place, at least, until he was directly addressed, "I welcome all surprises! If they catch me off-guard like this, good for them!" He smiled, if everyone was going to sleep, he would go and find his own fun, as he was not constrained by the need to rest, if anything that takes hold during the day. He watched everyone intently, for a short while, before he raised his hands up to the windowsill, pulling himself until he was upright, then pulling some more, leading him to fall out the window.
The small vampire didn't land on the ground, however, as he had already dispersed his form into a small cloud of bats, chattering silently into the night. His form reappeared on top of the small shop's roof. In an instant, his form glowed as he was transformed into an unnaturally tall being. The night was always a relaxing background to Matadormon's silent dance-training. He swerved and ducked, parrying an ethereal foe, extending his leg outwards, before pausing, his leg completely outstretched, before he rotated his leg in it's joints, drawing a complete circle in the air, with inhuman flexibility before returning to a standing position.
He couldn't help but notice the robes on one of his arms, which he was using to balance. It was fluttering in the cold night breeze. He turned his head towards the direction the wind came from. "... I bet it's nice and cool." He wagered with himself, before turning to his champion form, deciding to rest, as now he wasn't feeling so energetic. His vision faded as he transformed, as his eyes were replaced with red sockets concealed by twin little wings over his muzzle. To compensate, his other senses heightened to their extremes, he listened to the creaking of a garbage wooden plank being rustled gently by the breeze, in the alleyway adjacent to his perch, as well as everything else around the building. He fully intended to sit there and just wait, as his predatory instinct kicked in, seizing up his muscles and making it impossible to distinguish his being for a living creature.

Cas and the twins would bunk down for part of the day with the good Doctor rousing a little bit before dusk to amble out to grab some food and caffeine in order to wake up. Returning with her and the twins meals the Kotemon and Zubamon were quick to rouse devouring the food like the bottomless pits most rookies were in terms of stomach while Cas sipped her drink.
"All right I suppose we should get into position. I'll set the twins up behind the counter for now and man the cameras." The Doctor murmured shoving herself to her feet as she got her Digimon into position. The trio resigning themselves to a likely long and boring night as the woman settled down in front of the hunk of junk that passed for a computer monitor.
"I'll alert us if I spot anything on the camera's and we can switch out as the night goes." She added offering Basile a slime smile. She wasn't certain at first where the Dracnos had gone until she caught sight of him perched on the roof on one of the monitors.

For the most part, the night has been actually very calm... beyond any conversations amongst you all, not a sound could be heard generally inside the store beyond just the hum of electicity running. Frankly, was that a bad thing? At the very least, it was making the night fly by fairly easily (even if slowly). Nothing of note seemed to have been happening tonight... at least first for the first couple of hours. However, for the twins back in the main floor and for DracNos on top of the roof... they may notice two figures lurking around in the darkness outside. The first Digimon appeared to be a humanoid-like Digimon, though relatively shorter than most humans... though their pale blue skin certainly didn't help to cement their appearance as normal either, nor the large machine they had strapped to their back. By their side was an orange gear-like Digimon hovering by their side. The Warpmon and Solarmon were a fair distance away from the store, though their attention did seemed turned towards it... DracNos probably would be able to spot the Warpmon pull out a camera, taking a snapshot or two of the store. Both were silent otherwise, though had a suspicious vibe to their presence. After all, who would be up at a time like this? Nonetheless, their attention to the store was brief as they soon began to move to other buildings in the town... repeating the same process.

Basile would have continued using the Cameras for an hour or so before the effects of using the monitors all day kicked in and he had to relieve himself, standing up and politely ceding control of the monitors to Cassandra he progressed about his business. This entire venture seemed iffy in his mind. Granted, most of it was because of rustport but it seemed so... off. to build a shop out of literal scrap and then hire champion tier digimon to protect it against what was probably rookies. Even if the thieves were Champion level, hiring four was overkill surely?
Finishing up and washing his hands he strolled back to the monitor room and sat down next to his still sleeping companion. Lightly running his hand through her fur as he continued to think and wasn't it suspicious that even the client's assistant was calling this entire venture a farce? The Assistant whom by all logic Should have been happy and felt safer was complaining, sure it might have been worried about cost, but the thought wasn't leaving his skull. It was rattling around in his brain endlessly. Basile slowly started rubbing circles on Cinder's stomach, knowing it would wake her up slowly.
Cinder was slowly lulled back into consciousness and could tell she'd been sleeping for a good long while. She woke up in the waiting room and her Tamer's smirk, glaring at him sleepily she stood up, noticed it was dark out and decided she probably go work for her Bits. She clambered to her feet and decided to join the duo behind the counter, lightly opening the door just enough to slip into the shop proper and staying very low to the ground as she scampered behind the counter.
She nodded to both of her fellow rookies and waited, missing the two rookies taking photographs as she had more focused on being sneaky.

Unfortunately, it was impossible for DracNos to spot the intruders, however, as the smell of metal and the crackling of electricity tickled his senses, as well as the faint click of machinery. Nothing to really worry about, they hadn't come to the shop just yet, but maybe kinda creepy, hanging around like that. Well, since it was nothing so far, he's just gonna keep relaxing until something really interesting happens. For now, he'll try to distract himself by trying to identify certain objects around the area from just the noise of the wind and the smell surrounding said object.
Amusingly, he spent the longest time trying to identify what he concluded to be a garbage can, due to the myriad of scents located inside of it. He released a gruff chuckle, that's ridiculous, he was almost trounced by a bunch of garbage. He prided himself in his ability to find humor in most, if not all situations. With that, his mind trailed into a different path, once more, almost immediately forgetting the two passersby digimon from before. He didn't quite realize it, but one of his weaknesses was his infuriatingly short attention span, no matter the form he was currently in.

"That is very suspicious." Cloak murmured from where he barely peaked over the counter peering out through the windows alongside his twin their matching golden eyes watching the two Digimon wander by from the darkness of the shop.
"We should go after them." Dagger whispered his tail lashing back and forth in excitement. Their Tamer was currently on monitor duty and while the Zubamon was evidently excited the fact the passing Digimon hadn't been enough to rouse her from her post hinted that doing so was a bad idea.
"We can't go after them just because they're acting weird. Being weird isn't a crime. If it was you'd get arrested constantly." Cloak pointed out with a soft huff as he exercised what patience he had on his sibling.
"Hey! If either of us is the weirdo it's you!" Daggers hissed quietly, but both rookies sunk back behind the counter once more to keep a wary eye out.

While the Solarmon and Warpmon both appeared odd, they moved on as quick as they had shown up. It was hard to tell what their motives even were with taking all of these photos, but they seemed to pay the store no more mind than the other buildings in town.
Nothing else of note seems to happen throughout the night, and eventually the crack of the Digital World sun in the horizon dawns over Rustport once more.
Early in the morning, Pekomon and Lalamon soon arrived as they unlocked the door to the store, Pekomon whistling to you all. He seemed actually quite ecstatic to see you all, he briefly looking around the store... seemingly pleased with the results so far. "So, how ya folks doin'? How was your first day as nightguards? ... Well, I'd say pretty good as I don't see anything out of place here!" the mallet Digimon remarked, grinning a toothy smile at you all.
"See Pekomon? There was nothing to worry about..." the plant Digimon hovered by her comrade, huffing slightly at him... though she seemed relieved to say the least, she briefly smiling to you all.
"Hey hey, I'm still not sold yet! This was only one night after all! Who knows what could happen a few days from now!" Pekomon quickly countered, bobbing up and down in excitement as he waited for you all.

Basile was many things, capable of staying up all day and then all night was not one of them. His eyes stung and his Fatigue was obvious to anyone with eyes. Regardless, he managed to stay up long enough that he could report that himself and Cinder hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary before he stalked off to sleep, Managing to find a pot and hot water, he made himself a cup ramen for breakfast and left a few out for the others before eating politely, but quickly. The hot food doing wonders for the blond as he ate.
Once he was done, he put the ramen cup in the trash, grabbed a sleeping bag and slowly drifted off, once asleep he slept like a log. Snoring softly and quietly in the corner of the security room they'd been... given? assigned?
Cinder could only smirk into her cup ramen as her Tamer started running on fumes, naturally the blonds manners forbade him from just passing out, he just had to make himself and her breakfast and leaving 4 more cups on the counter for the others. Hearing her tamer report that he'd not seen anything and neither had she, she frowned somewhat. She'd need to give a proper report for herself. 'We didn't seen nuthin' simply wouldn't do. As she ate the notorious 'cup ramen' and the rarely tasted 'fast food' she could only sigh. She'd been running her tamer a little bit ragged lately, the debacle at the desert. Her having fun and doing barrel rolls with him on her back...
Maybe she should give him a break. She stoop up, throwing the remnants of her fast food in the bin and went off to find Pekomon and added on quite a bit more to the report 'Sorry about him, I've ran him a bit ragged lately. Anyways, Basile spent most of his time on the monitors before he switched off with Cassandra, As far as I know neither saw anything. After I woke up and entered the store, I snuck over to behind the counter along with Cloak and Dagger. I didn't see any thieves after that point.' Cinder reported promptly and politely as she was able.

Once Sangloupmon detected a sizeable amount of activity inside of the shop, in the morning, he decided to return inside. Without the slightest movement, the large lupine beast seemed to melt into a black mass, perfectly flat with the ground. The puddle of shadow slid across the ground, with obvious ease, and it immediately slipped to the ground, before sliding back into the store. As soon as the remaining edges of the shadow slipped into the rest of the darkness, becoming entirely invisible, a patch on the floor glowed, momentarily, before the small vampire from before popped out, seemingly phasing through the floor to reappear.
He stretched, making sure his body worked as normal. He had resolved to do this when he first gained sentience, as his body could have some damage he was unaware of, but he didn't seem to have any outstanding issues, at least, none that affected his movement. He sprung up, bringing up his arms, "Tonight was quiet, garbage cans are SO weird when you can only smell stuff." He stated, reciting two interesting facts he gathered last night, one that related to this job thing and something fun he found on his own. "So we're done for now, yeah? We should get to know each other! Like, a game or something!" He suggested, before sitting down, on the spot, trying to imagine games he could involve the others in.

"Nothing appeared out of place on the monitors from what Basile and I saw." Cassandra replied with a small slightly muffled yawn. She was looking forward to putting in a few hours of sleep during the day before they had to stake out the shop for another night. Beside her the twins were a bit more perky then herself, but no less bleary eyed.
"Yeah we didn't see anything inside the shop either. A oddballs passed by, but they paid the shop no more mind then any other though I still say we should have chased em down." The Zubamon, Dagger, quipped earning himself a light bonk on the head from his twins face.
"That would have been a waste of time and effort. Not to mention they might have been bait to lure us away from the shop so others could rob it." Cloak, the Kotemon, pointed out with a solemn nod. Cas though would arch a brow at Dracnos blinking slightly in surprise at his enthusiasm to learn more about them.
"Games? Like twenty questions? While I'm not opposed I think it might be wiser to get some rest in." The Doctor suggested with a warm if sleepy smile.

"I mean, ya gotta be pretty weird to live in a place like this, know what I'm sayin' here?" Pekomon joked, though did tilt his head slightly at the Zubamon's mention of some oddballs who passed by. Well, it couldn't be that probematic if they didn't pay any mind to the shop. "Well, sounds like so far y'all got things handled... Feel free to rest downstairs during store hours if ya like!"Lalamon gave your group a brief nod, though they seemed at least appreciative in their tone. "I hope these next couple of nights will at least stay uneventful... It must be dreadfully boring, but we do appreciate the effort." the small plant Digimon politely thanked you all, hovering to the backroom as she and Pekomon began to setup shop for the day. Now was a chance to relax... at least for a couple of hours.
Sure enough, a dozen or so hours later... night has arisen once more, your employers having left the store to you all. For the most part, it seemed the night was just as calm and uneventful as the last... at least until the presence of a relatively tall and imposing Digimon neared the store. The BishopChessmon walked towards the closed store, seemingly unbothered by their surroundings as they walked up to the front door, politely knocking it. "Sherrif department." the Ultimate level calmly spoke with a loud, stern voice... seemingly trying to get anyone inside's attention.
