At last, Majin's plans for Luminas were set into motion. But before the initial strike, the group had some setting up to do. Rodgers the ChibiMachinedramon was assigned this task. His understanding of technology and resources were invaluable to the group. In collaboration with Datamon, the technomancer was successful in creating a set of explosive devices similar to Datamon's Nano Bombs. As small as they were, the bombs sure packed a fiery punch. But their destructive capabilities weren't their main objective - it was their incendiary capabilities the group was counting on the most. It was the Stealth Force's task to set this up in key points throughout the city. Buildings were they housed the military, any weaponry, and most importantly, points where there were big concentrations of flammable material to spread the flames. Rodger's last task would be to head over to the Palace and inundate the place with his gases - the group would finish and remain hidden in specified points throughout the city until ordered to come out. So having been briefed, the group would come out of the Corridor of Darkness and into the outer rims of the angelic city. It was late evening, and there were probably still some citizens carrying on their business around the city. But the relative darkness, and their Vexus Cloaks would hopefully keep them as unnoticeable as needed. The first to come out of the portal were Rodgers, Datamon and Betsumon. The machines seemed relatively calm - could they even feel at all? But the Betsumon looked a bit shaken. Despite his willingness to carry out the task, he was aware of the consequences, if the group got caught or something went awfully wrong. Setting his gaze upon the sprawling city in front of him didn't make things any better. But he soon comforted himself, knowing he was quite capable of handling himself if things went awry. He looked at his fellow comrades - they all had it in them. That small spark of rebelliousness. That spark of attitude. They would make it. The group would have a small pack on their waist were the Nano Bombs would be at. The bombs would remain inert, until Rodgers or Datamon carried out a program to activate them, to later set them off at will. Simply put, the group just had to go around to key points and spread the seeds of destruction... Meip will take over this thread as Rodgers, I will participate as Datamon and Betsumon. If no opposition shows up, either member or staff-wise, during 3 days, the group will advance unopposed to their next step. 3 of these and their task will be complete and successful. Be cautious of meta-gaming and/or power-gaming, peeps.

Who did majin think he was?! That ignorant stupid, gah... How could he give Datamon the codes as well? It was His program and His bombs He was the one who made them work! He should be the full on tech director all on his own, he didn't need this fool helping him.
The Datamon would find no kindness in any look or word toward him from the Chibimachinedramon, in fact he could probably tell quite easily that he was getting the cold shoulder. Rodgers did not like sharing the limelight.
"Right! Now all of you, we're going to split up!", he spoke in a hushed stern tone, seeming serious but he was really just ticked. "Each of you will head though the area, staying low and out of sight and plant your explosives as close to the center of each facility on the map as possible, got it? Oh and by as close as possible I mean don't do it if it's gunna get you caught, We'd rather you just put it on the back door than get caught in the middle of the facility and get forced to blab. The explosives I designed should be enough to do damage no matter where they are, but inside is still preferable. Got It?", he looked over the crowd.
"Once your done head Right back here, unless you are seen, If you're followed Do Not come back here, just wander around or act normal or whatever I don't care. As soon as you're all back or you've all contacted me via the mind thing that you can't make it, I'll leave to initiate the second phase and Gas the tower. Everyone clear on the mission any questions?"

Zevran stepped out of the portal next, not worried at all. He had been chosen for this task by the higher ups, which meant that they believed he could handle it. He would not fail, the face of confidence as he took in his surroundings. It was Luminas, the face of all that was holy and light in the world, To non-virus types of course. Zevran had been told before hand that this was a Sabotage and Espionage mission which was why he had Digivolved into his Ultimate form before hand, A pair of his abilities in this form would allow him to progress through his task much quicker than his other available forms. As he glared at his surroundings he noticed more and more that it was set up to be beautiful, How Naive. The City would never survive a siege, there was too much focus on things looking "pretty" than tactical decisions.
Zevran, Garbed in his Vexus cloak listened to the task he was handed with something akin to boredom. His job in a nutshell was to cause as much chaos as possible without being caught, Sabotage. This he would enjoy, Though being told what to do was degrading, he persevered and tried desperately to resist the urge to beat nine shades of data out of the little arrogant machine digimon. As the annoying little digimon continued to rant, Zevran idly wondered how much flak he would catch if he did attack the annoying machine. Weighing pro's and cons was surprisingly easy, He would catch too much for the experience to be worth it.
Once the machine finally finished with a message about general safety during their individual escapes, Zevran shouldered his pack and vanished with a small burst of static being the only warning. If you had looked away and looked back he'd be completely gone. He headed to his targeted location, Zevran was going for the North centers. There was no rhyme or reason why he chose north, it was an impulsive decision that wasn't worth wasting time upon.

Advancing to Round 1 Datamon nodded as much as physically able to when Rodgers gave out his instructions. The small cyborg digimon would notice Betsumon following him - perhaps it was for the best. He wasn't really a fighter, anyway. Not that Betsumon was either, but together they could put up a decent challenge if things got out of hand. The duo watched as Zevran's form blurred, and he suddenly nowhere in sight. A speedy one eh. Datamon kept his pace in check. Although it was way too early for some digimon to even be awake, he didn't want to come out as anxious or in a hurry to whoever they stumbled upon in their mission. And thus, their mission ha just started. The duo kept close to each other, walking from structure to structure - all the while, the nanobombs would float out and attach to the building's walls. Despite Rodger's instructions to set them up on the insides, well, setting them up on the outside fared just as well. Especially considering the fact that most doors at this time were locked shut. Betsumon couldn't help but feel their manpower was a bit lacking - he juggled with the thought of Mind Linking Majin, to tell him to send more people in. Then again, perhaps a smaller group was best for this kind of thing. So far, no one had been found outside at these hours, which was a good thing. Let them sleep while we set up their demise.

Been busy, but plenty of days have passed. Advancing to round 2. "Betsumon, that was the place." the small mechanical digimon stated as he pointed at a rather big building near them. According to Rodger's scans, these was one of the buildings that housed flammable material. That, together with the nanobombs, would prove excellent for their tactic. The Betsumon silently nodded, climbed up the wall with his clawed gloves, and looked around the roof. There were ventilation shafts on the edge - he made his way around to them, quickly unleashing some of the nanobombs into it. As soon as he did, he turned around to look at the view. From up here, he could see a fair bit of the city. A bit more and the twilight would be lifted by the sun. Master Majin. It seems we might need some help here. No opposition yet, but... Uh, some of the guys have gotten lost, it seems. the Betsumon thought, relaying it to Majin via Mind Link. He wasn't the leader of the group, but well, he thought it appropriate to inform Majin. Rodgers seemed like the arrogant type who wouldn't admit to having problems until it was too late anyway, and Datamon seemed too consumed by his estimations to be bothered. He brushed the back part of his paw on his forehead and grinned. They would complete this task soon enough. He jumped off, a quick jolt coursing through his body at the sudden impact on his legs. Yeah, forgot I'm not actually a cat...The duo continued setting up after this, soon covering most of their assigned area, along with the area of other Vexus members. Where were they anyway? Datamon wasn't equipped with a map function - Rodgers possibly was.

<sorry been quite busy>
The chibimachinedramon had headed off as well hoping these dorks didn't screw everything up. This wasn't the time to think of the others though, he had to complete his own mission. A local shopping center was his target. It was the perfect place, easy to blend in easy to hide something easy to get lost in the crowd and full of unsuspecting innocents, the perfect place to stir up chaos. What fools thinking they could live in a place near perfect such as this and avoid consequence. They deserved to fall from their perch in the sky.
This place was weird now that he thought, only in emperian could you find a 24 hour mall thing that people actually went to, the rest of the town was dead but this place still managed to at least attract some patronage this early.
As Rodgers walked around pretending to be a commoner and pretending to be interested in items in shops only to plant his bombs, making sure only to look at stuff that had lowest sales by his estimation, while someone probably wouldn't even notice the bomb looking right at it it didn't hurt to be safe. He'd also customized his own bombs making some of them look like clothing alarm tags and silicon packets. No one would be the wiser. Then he heard someone calling for help though the mind link and grumbled a bit to himself.
That guy was so stupid, everything was going just as planned, they didn't need more people causing suspicion.
So after a while he purchased one thing with some spare bits and headed out as any normal patron would, just another consumer lost in the crowd. What did he buy? Just a baseball cap with the Emperian skies insignia... soon enough this thing may be considered a relic, might as well snag a piece of history for himself.

To return to this city so soon was an unexpected problem for Yuji and Light. Given their recent escapades involving the Digimental, it would be much more sensible to remain away from Luminas for some time. Unfortunately they had no choice but to return in order to pay their debt to Majin. And their purpose here did not settle well with the gentleman either; they were to cause chaos and serve as a distraction while their leader took sought out the object of power. The ends were understandable in saving a human life, but the means were the issue here; this could very well be done without causing any mortality, however. It would require a large amount of care in order to do so, and Yuji would exercise every bit of restraint he had in accomplishing this mission. It had to be done cleanly and without any excessive violence.
An odd notion given he was assigned tiny explosives to plant in order to serve as said earlier distraction. The orders were given by the little robot Digital Monster known as ChibiMachinedramon. The high-ranking Vexus machine seemed stressed with the situation already, though perhaps all the participants were feeling as such.
Another agent of the team appeared from the portal just ahead of the gentleman and his tamer. This human was equipped with hair in both black and white, but beyond that Yuji knew little but his name; Zevran. It was unfortunate that the members had little time to craft relationships before this attack, but given how some of these others dressed it was perhaps not that unfortunate. Most were uncultured as far as dressing successfully. Quickly, Zevran moved himself in position with perhaps some semblance of a plan already in mind.
Which left Yuji to find his own location to target. An area where they could cause a very visible distraction without hurting many people...it was unfortunate that the Palace of the Fallen Champions was first in his mind. Given the many guards and his previous experience there, however, it was quickly ruled out. The area resembling a town square was also ruled out due to a large amount of people likely to be there. Perhaps it would be easier to simply seek out a very tall building and plan the explosives there?
Unlike the others, Yuji wore the Vexus cloak only loosely atop his trademark green blazer. His head was free of the detestable hood. The stealth function was not yet active until the hood was worn, but he preferred not to draw unnecessary attention by drawing it already. The Lopmon at his side looked around the area warily, his eyes leaning to the palace they had been at mere days ago.
"...it'd be stupid to go back there. Let's try this way." Light piped up, turning in the exact opposite direction of the palace. The direction in question happened to be west of their starting location, and hopefully somewhere they could find a prime target and fewer people. The sooner this was completed, the sooner Yuji could put this task behind him. Still his mind was doubting this path...

Alexander pushed his glasses up his nose. A large grin across his face. The day had finally arrived. The hair, the lovely hair...it would be his. And he would do dubious things with it. Summoning Miley Cyrus, The Devil, wear the hair and run slowly down the beach. But first, he had to burn town the town. It would be a simple matter, a few blasts here or there, and everything would be gone. Well, not everything, he'd leave a few malls around, maybe an Ice Cream shoppe. Clair has been sitting on her broom, legs crossed, and Leviathan went to go join his group. Alexander threw the hood of his cloak over his head.
"I didn't choose Thug Life. Thug life chose me." Alexander stated jumping up and down. Clair just scoffed, and got off her broom.
"Sure it did, now then. Let's get to work." Clair said, Alexander's grin grew larger from under his hood. He turned around and looked over the city, taking it all in, after all, it wouldn't look so...complete for long. "I don't quite understand why we're doing this, but we might as well." Clair sighed, wondering if Levi's group was doing any better. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"How long til' we blow something up?!" Levi growled loudly, he was tired of waiting, and wanted to do his job. He stomped his foot in anger, muttering to himself.

Zevran had managed to find his way to his first target on the map, it seemed to be a market place, Lots of stalls and flammables inside to be destroyed. It was an easy target to be sure, their was very little in the way of guards, just a pair of bumbling idiots patrolling together and speaking with each other rather than look out for threats. Luminas truly had gotten lazy, resting on it's laurels.
Zevran waited for the pair of guards to pass before moving closer to the very center, the heart of the marketplace. The place where the most civilians would be at the time of detonation, assuming the bombs were detonated during the day of course. He watched as the bumbling guards walked past and dropped down into one of the stalls, it looked like a clothing stall which would work for Zevrans needs. He placed the Nano-bomb just underneath the racks of clothing, once the bombs were detonated the clothes would go up and then spread to the stall which would then spread to other stalls.
he placed several other nano-bombs around that area as well before moving to another target, Zevran disappearing with only the sound of static to note his presence. This one was a warehouse, he was skeptical of its importance but this was where it was marked on the map so it must be important somehow.
A quick look showed that this place was actually guarded. there were two guards by every door, yet surprisingly none on the roof, that was his entrance into the warehouse. He dropped down onto a huge set of shelves made of metal and piled high with guard uniforms, weaponry and what appeared to be chrome digizoid alloy. He nestled a few of the nano-bombs through out the warehouse, hopping from shelf to shelf and hiding bombs in places where they would go highly unnoticed.
Zevran then jumped back to his original shelf and leapt up and out of the skylight before leaving the area in a burst of static.

Round 3 and DONE. Members may post once more to hide/finish planting bombs. Otherwise, it will be assumed. Next thread will be up soon. It was almost morning. But given that no one had relayed mental messages so far aside from himself, it seemed the operation had gone out smoothly. Too smoothly, perhaps. Betsumon couldn't help but feel uneasy about it. Were they really so oblivious to their tactics? Of course, their attack had been kept a secret so far - only a few people outside of Vexus knew about it. Unbeknownst to the group, Majin had messed up while recruiting a girl some time ago and had potentially leaked their general plan out. Luckily, he had refrained from telling her the plan in detail. And he did try to pass it off as a joke. Then again, Luminas would probably shrug off a HUMAN coming over saying the city was going to be attacked soon without any further proof. The costume digimon looked around. Datamon was trailing several feet behind him. Completely silent. The Datamon seemed kinda creepy, actually. He followed orders down to the letter, without any further thought. But those were his allies. The Betsumon nodded, turning towards Datamon. "We're finally done. Time to hide." he said, and soon enough, other Vexus members in the area Mind Linked their own success. Datamon looked up and simply nodded, glowing mechanical eyes scanning the immediate area. The pair swiftly placed themselves on the rooftop of one of the buildings, a safe distance away from any of the explosives. After all, they wanted to see the spectacle in front row seats.

Now that his bomb planting was all finished up it was time for him to head back to the starting point, making sure he wasn't followed of course. He'd arrive back and make sure to wait a while, giving people at least a bit of time to check in via mind link or just to return to give their mission status before he himself would head back out for the final phase.
The tower loomed over much of the city but with his jetpack it wasn't much of a challenge for him to make it to the top. the security was surprisingly lax, maybe so many years of peace had made this area soft. but it wasn't like he cared.
Using the schematics he'd gathered earlier he'd fine his way to the air vents, sneaking and silently maneuvering though before sticking his arm down a main vent and unleashing his own gas mixture into the ventilation system. Not only was it dangerous to breathe but it was highly flammable .
He'd release quite a bit making more than sure it'd be enough before retreating back to get ready for the show. Seemed the time had come to finally blow the lid off this popsicle stand.
