Trailmon Terminal - the busy transportation hub, where train-like and monorail-like Trailmon continuously shuttling smaller Digimon and cargo from location to location, all over the Digital World, and yet all the tracks seem to lead nowhere. The main Trailmon stop for the main city, the terminal for Terminus. Trailmon (obviously) are not an uncommon sight here[citation needed]. And yet, a horned Trailmon unfamiliar to many pulls into the station. Perhaps a few might recognize him, though he has not come this way in a long time, mostly working on the outskirts of the world.
However, recent retirement has gotten this old Trailmon nostalgic. "Been a while," he grunts, the semblance of a smile attempting to appear on his plow-like face. "Heh, memories."
A voice from inside the Trailmon expresses calm frustration. "...I suppose."
"Thanks again, boss, means a lot to me."
"...In no hurry, nowhere to be."
A door opens on the Trailmon - Tetsu - and the 'voice' steps out. He was a little young to be the 'boss' of anyone, only about 15. Apparently the black-haired boy was expecting cold, possibly snowy weather, bundled up in a blue winter coat and light boots. He rubs his temples, eyes closed as he fights off a minor migraine.

Trailmon terminal, the place that connects the digital world with the human world, after a couple of days since his first time in the digital world Kyosuke decided to go back and see what this world can really offer, the trip was OKish nothing out of the normal.... Of course if you can say that travelling on a sentient train it's not out of the normal.
He grabs his bag and exits the trailmon once it finally arrives, the station wasn't as alive as the last time he was here, maybe was too early who knows? Still there where a couple of trailmons going their way in and out but didn't seem to carry more passengers, except for one that just drop a young boy, weird that it had just one passenger but what does he know about this world anyway? Maybe this was normal although it was a wast of space moving from god knows where just to take one person.
"Hey!"He wave his hand to the teenager. "I'm kinda new here, do you know an interesting place to explore?" Right to the point, no introductions or any kind of manners that's Kyo, although he probably wont meet the kid again and he is not lost like the las time, so why even bother with an introduction?

Another human in the Digital World? Eito was not alone after all. He turns away from the loud man as if ignoring him, reaching down to the device on a clip on his pants. "Aren't you going to answer him," Tetsu asks, eyeing the man - with his only eye. "Kinda rude to just ignore a guy," he huffs.
Eito shakes his head. "Just a minute." Very slight annoyance tinted his calm voice. He pulls out his Digivice and recalls the train into it. He then sighs and turns back around to face the man. "Place to explore?" Was that really that important? He didn't know any specific place, but this is the Digital World. He told him the obvious answer. "Pick a direction."
He pauses and thinks for a moment, then sighs. This was the first human he's met here. As annoying as this guy seems, this may be an important meeting that neither of them knew about. "...you know about the Digital World? What do you know?"

"Pick a direction" seems like we have a smartass here, as easy as it was to say "go to the hills" or "You know that south seem to have a beach" or something along those lines, it did surprise hime that the kid just put the Trailmon in his digivice, some people are really lucky with their partners, and then Kyo just have a voice that sometimes talk and sometimes don't and when it does it's all cryptic fortune cookie nonesense.
"Well excuse me sir, I just want a general direction to not get lost, not everyone can have their own personal Trailmon"
He then turn back and was going to head to Terminus and ask there when the kid just ask if he knew something about the digital world, in any normal situation he would've ignore it but it's not like he is doing anything important either
"Pretty much the basic, it's a parallel world where digital things live and some are partnered with a human and then there spirit user like me that are chosen to wield the power of an element or something."

"Okay.... when I said 'pick a direction', I was only half joking." Eito takes a deep cleansing breath in and out before resuming. "The fact is, the Digital World is very dangerous, and very mysterious, pretty much wherever you go."
He pauses, then shakes his head subtly. "I'm not saying this to discourage you. Your 'interesting place to explore' makes me think it may do the opposite." He gestures all around in a wide sweep. "Anywhere you go, anywhere you'd look, you'd have some kind of adventure. But... what specifically are you looking for?"
So this man was a 'Spirit User', or so he claims. That is something completely new to him. So there weren't just wild digimon and digimon paired with humans. There were also humans with some form of digital powers, related to elements and spirits of some sort. He glances at and fumbles with his Digivice, partially lost in thought. "Hm. How do these... Spirit Users work exactly?"

And there we go again with the "The digital world is dangerous and mysterious" speech, does he really look like he can't handle this world? Kyo just shrugged at the comments.
"I don't know really what I'm looking for, just something easy, the only place I really know besides terminus and those peaceful hills is the Dark Area and by what I heard.... Yeah I'mn not tackling that place just yet."
This kids seemed to be new to the whole Digital world thing too, since he doesn't seem to know what a spirit user is or work and to be honest he didn't know that much either, Amelie was a little vague on what he could do with this power and the voice doesn't really help either.
"To put it simple, I can call the power of an ancient digimon that wield the power of light, yet it's not in his most powerful form, this digimon fragmented his powers and I just have one of many fragments" He said and then show his digivice. "Using this D-tector I can summon it's power and turn myself into a digimon" Yeah... It doesn't sound less crazy when he says it, he should apology to Amelie when they meet again.

"Hm." Eito has been a few places with Trailmon, though is far from the expert in the Digital World. "well... I will say it again, but a little more purposefully. Pick a direction. The world seems to be separated into north, south, east, and west regions." He stops to remember the layout of the world. There was...
"The frozen North is where you'll find all the snow-covered mountains, icy caves, and frozen tundras. Quite a desolate landscape for the most part, albeit with some skiing areas and possibly a small winter town." There was also...
"The West leads to mostly deserts and cliffs, with some ancient ruins worth exploring and a... 'quaint'... shanty town." What was to the east again? Right...
"The East leads to rolling hills and wooded fields, eventually leading to forested areas. There is also the Village of Beginnings, where... Digimon aren't just born, they are reborn. Reincarnation appears to be more than just theological protection from fear of death, here. It actually is a real occurrence!" Tangents aside, that leaves...
"The South is the tropics of the Digital World. Jungles, beaches, oceans, islands... perhaps you'll find sunken treasure?"
Eito is surprised to find out humans can become Digimon. "Quite interesting. Could... anyone use those fragments, or just the 'chosen ones' that have that specific form of device?"

Now we were getting somewhere, so north we had a frozen land, west was a desert, east green hill zone and south the tropics, so many options fortunately Kyo had all the time in the world, as far as he knew time in the digital world goes faster than the real world, a couple of hours here can be just minutes there.
"Hmm... Guess the tropics would be best, althought I wouldn't mind going to the frost land either He said, exploring a jungle definitely sounded like a nice place to start exploring.
Kyo shrugged when the kid ask if only those chosen by the spirit can use the fragments, I mean it sounded like a question that had an obvious answer, but he would be the first to admit that he don't really know and it was a question that didn't cross his mind.
"Well let's see, give it a try" He said and gave his D-Tector to the teenager. "Jus push this two buttons and you should see the menu for the spirits I have althoug so far I just have Strabimon... In anycase select Strabimon and let's see what happens"
He doubt it would work and in anycase the "ring of data" the voice mention would appear on Kyo's hand ready to be scanned and transform, it would be a shame that he "evolves" for the first time for this and not in a more "epic" and "action filled" moment.

"Tropics or frost land. Interesting." Eito nods, then looks over to the Trailmon terminal's tracks. "You could walk, or you could take a Trailmon. Either way." He shrugs, uncaring about Kyosuke's choice. The D-Tector was much more interesting to think about.
The moment the D-Tector was in his hands, a rush of excited curiosity swept over him. He examines it from top to bottom, front to back. "So just..." He hits the buttons as instructed, tries to Spirit Evolve and... nothing. "Hm... as expected. Slightly disappointing though." He pauses for a moment, staring at it as if trying to see into its inner workings. Finally, he speaks again. "Do you think this thing has solitaire on it?"
Eito's own digivice begins vibrating, causing him to quickly take notice. "What is it Tetsu?"
"Well, I was just thinkin, maybe you should ask him a bit about himself." Normally Eito would disagree, uninterested in another's life story, but this was different. This was the first human he met in the Digital World, and a Spirit User. "Hm. Okay. Please tell me more about yourself, if I am not wasting your time."

The kid didn't seem to be good at socializing either he seemed so focus on the D-Tector, couldn't blame him after all it was an interesting device.
"I guess I'll go first to the tropics by foot and then once I finish there will take a trailmon to the frost land" Seemed like the best option
Kyo couldn't hold his laughter seeing the teenager trying to make work the D-Tector getting a disappointing end, his next question make him raise an eyebrow, why would it have solitaire? The next question was more normal, guess it was timeto introduce himself
"The name's Kyosuke, Ishida Kyosuke" Now on a more interesting topic. "So how did you end up with a Trailmon as your partner? It was really conveniant free trips to wherever the hell you want. "By the way, you can give me back the digivice whenever you want, I do need that thing"

"It is a long walk," Eito simply says, adding no more input to that line of thinking. He really didn't care where this man went or how he did it. Actually, his main interest with the man is how and why he is here, and about that D-Tector.
Unfortunately, he could not get it to work, himself. This was disappointing, but not a major loss. He hands the device back to its owner and shrugs. It was not useful to him, so why keep it? "Kyosuke. You may call me Eito." He holds out his hand, waiting for a handshake. "I arrived in this world, wandering around with this - " he shows his Xros Loader - " and ran into a Trailmon. Somehow, he just decided to be my... employee I guess? He keeps calling me 'boss'. Now... how does your Spirit work? Is it really a half-departed Digimon, or is it just a name?"

"Meh, Walking ain't that bad, besides I want to go to Terminus first and see if I can buy anything" Kyo said although it was kind of obvious that the guy wasn't paying any attention.
He finally introduce himself as Eito, sadly the story of how he met his partner wasn't as interesting as Kyo with the voice, guess spirit users have a more interesting introduction, although not a really good introduction but could be woirst than be thrown to this world without a single clue of what to do.
"To be completely honest I don't even know myself, It's a formless voice in my head that sometimes decides to talk most of the time in a cryptic and riddling way, kinda like a fortune cookie" He shrugged, it's weird hopefully in the future it's going to talk more. "For now the only thing I know for sure is that I was chosen to wield the ancient light that protected the digital world, and what I do with that power is up to me... Although I do imagine that digimon has some kind of influence on that too"

Walking... Terminus... shopping... Eito caught a few of the words, enough to get the gist of it. "Cool, cool.. just uh... avoid the Dark Area. It is semi-literally Hell. If you must, that's one you should not walk through. You seem to know that already." He punctuates that with a shrug.
It then seems that as little as Eito was listening and interested, Kyosuke was even less so. Just as well, as they would probably never see each other again, whether due to the size of the two worlds or due to Kyosuke's recklessness getting him killed. At least Eito has learned a little today.
Eito learns even more when Kyosuke explains how his Spirit works. "Cryptic messages, formless voice... that sounds like quite an annoying spectre." He laughs quietly, the semblance of a smile on his face. "I guess I got lucky after all. Though what are you going to do with such power granted to you?"

"Not the first one that warn me about that place, guess one day I'll go there but for now I've got to get use to this power and of course getting stronger" Although Kyo didn't know why bother answering it was obvious that Eito wasn'tn paying much attention.
Something that did call Kyo's attention and forgot to mention due to the whole Spirit user explanation was how different was Eito's Digivice, seems like different types of "chosen ones" had different digivices although Amelie have the same as Kyo, maybe it was a thinkg of partnered humans.
"So does a different digivice means something?" He ask. "I mean, the other spirit user I met had the same one as mine only difference been the colors, but then I met a girl that had partner and her digivice was completely different than yours"
Kyo thought for a second on what to do, he really had no clue and that's what makes this all interesting. "Well supposedly I have to gather the rest of the fragments of the ancient digimon, yet I have to prove worthy to do that, until he gaves me something to work with I'll pretty much whatever the hell I want" He laughed

"If you do end up going to the Dark Area," Eito jokes, "don't go for a swim. The water is not fine, unless you're a masochistic vampire." What the heck does that mean? Or does Kyosuke already know about the Sea of Blood? "But yes, waiting until you are stronger is probably the best bet."
Talk about different Digivices definitely interests Eito. "Hm... so that means there is at least three classes of these devices. Mine is called a Xros Loader, making me something called a Xros General. I am still not sure about the specifics, but I believe that means I get a micro-army. In that case, having a Digimon that is also mass transport will definitely be useful."
"I wonder what deems one worthy of the spirits," Eito muses aloud, closing his eyes. "Is it a noble heart? Is it strength of body, mind, or - if such a thing exists - of soul? Or is it just being willing to obey the riddles of a Spirit?"
