Wren's fingers had been curled in a claw like grip about the icy metal caboose railing for what felt like hours, maybe even days since she had desperately leaped onto the back of the first departing train she could find. Not realizing it's destination wasn't of this world. She'd realized her mistake quite shortly as the lights began to change, to flicker, the landscape flashing by belonging to no place on earth that Wren could explain as she pressed herself against the metal of the rocketing train in a terrified tired ball. Now though exhaustion was taking it's toll as the girl despite her fear dozed, her grip slackening as the train began to slow as it passed through a vast pale wasteland lit only by the soft glow of giant floating crystals. Only for it's breaks to come on bringing it to a screeching careening halt that left Wren thrown hard against the metal as she woke with a terrified disorientated start. Even as a voice echoed across the wastes as a few gunshots pierced the air making the girl freeze.
"This is ah hold up! Don't even think of makin ah wrong move Trailmon..." The voice growled out as one of the doors further up the train was forced open with a metal bang. Footsteps echoing down the empty cars as Wren glanced about in fear trying to consider her options. She could run, but she had no idea where she was and out in the middle of nowhere she doubted she'd last long. She could attempt to circle around the train and hide in one of the already checked cars, but there was no way to guarantee the robbers wouldn't circle back. As the footfalls grew closer and closer Wren realized she was running out of time.
Until there was no time left as she scrambled back on the small caboose platform as the door was wrenched open and a tall man in the strangest mask the girl had ever seen with long pale white hair wearing a white and red coat over a blue pinstripe suit stood in the doorway. Yet as Wren watched black and purple wings clamp tight against the 'mans' back as blue eyes a few shades darker then her own widened in surprise she realized that this might not be a man at all.
"You're just a kid..." The man, creature, monster spoke the toothpick he'd had clenched between his teeth falling to the ground with a soft clatter as he prodded Wren's leg with the tip of the machine gun he was carrying making the girl jerk back in fear.
"Just a human kid...." The Robber muttered to himself in disbelief even as he reached out to nab Wren with his free hand lifting her into the air by the strap of her battered backpack like a puppy as she struggled trying to wrench herself from his hold.
"Let go of me!" She cried out in panic trying to kick and claw her way free to no avail.
"Now Stop that!" The Robber snarled out giving Wren a harsh shake causing the girl to hang still in his grip in disorientation and fear. "What the hell..." He growled out peering at the little human with disgruntled sneer as if unsure what to make of her. "That Tellermon said this train was carrying what I needed and what I needed was a big bag of bits not some in-training human."
