The Wolf Meets the Princess (Alexis)

The time passed and Kyo was enjoying this peace, it's been a while since he had a time to relax, most of his days went  away in the gym training and getting ready for his matches, it's not like he had anything else to do, sadly the peace disappeared when a girl arrive at the bridge, he didn't pay much attention to her, she was loud but couldn't didn't really hear what she was talking, she was carrying a "toy" that supposedly was like those magic eight balls.

"Do I look like I care?" He said to the teenager. "Do whatever you want just try to stay quiet, I was enjoying this peaceful place" That was probably going to provoke the rage of the girl and was going to call him rude and some other things, not the first time it would happen nor the last one, he had very poor social skills nor he didn't make an effort to get better.

He shrugged and return his focus to the river looking at his reflect (what little of it he could see anyways) when suddenly the mysterious voice talk to him again.

"Stay on your guard all the time, you never know when the enemy might strike" The voice echoed on Kyo's head

"What a nice moment you choose to speak again..." He muttered hoping the blonde didn't listen. "What do you mean by that?"

The enemies may come on different forms and sizes, stay alert" The voice was referring of course to the "toy" the girl was carrying

"Would you cut it out with the fortune cookie speech and be clear for once?" Kyo was getting annoy by that but he did understand what the voice meant.

The man would hid his digivice in his poket and try to act normal looking at the teenager and the "toy" from time to time

And there it goes the "You're rude and don't know how to treat someone else" speech, not just that thie girl had the nerve to call him homeless and imply he was crazy for talking to himself, just WOW if he wasn't any other person she would be in problems.

"Damm... You look like a teenager but you sure sound and act like a brat!" This wouldn't have a good ending. "If you're really that soft that words offend you, it's your problem not mine!"

Kyo wasn't hiding the fact that he was annoyed already, and this girl wasn't making any effort to be less bratty showing money to his face and said that it would be for him if he just say he was sorry, in any other situation he would've punch the guy already that treat him like this, but now the bratt had to be a girl, Kyo took a deep breath trying to relax before answering

"So let me get this straight... You don't like when people treat you like a princess, yet you're offering money for me to beg like if I was a servant or a peasant or something, hmmm I wonder why people treat you like a princess?" He ask sarcastically. "And I don't need your money, I can make much more than that in one single match, if you have no bussines here get out before I throw that "toy" into the muddy water!" Although it was obvious the blonde was not going anywhere, but he wasn't either.

Kyo could feel his blood boiling at this point, but there was nothing he could do, why of all places this girl could go end up here? Things like this are the ones that really make the choice to go to the digital world easier, he would rather face countless digimons that this one obnoxious bratt.

"Oh well excuse me your highness, but you do seem offended otherwise I don't see why a "noble" would lose her valuable time with a "commoner" like me" Hopefully that would be the end.

But nope she just keep going treating him like an idiot, if this was karma he wonder what the hell he did to deserve this, he had met so many types of people on his life, but this single girl was getting on his nerves and wasn't going anywhere, he even take a step closer threatening to ruin his life, he would laugh if he wasn't so pissed off, well let's see if she can promise her threats, takin advantage that the girl got closer he grab her by her clothes and lift her so they would be face to face.

"Then do it" He said looking her in the eyes. "Ruin my life right now, I dare you" He let her go

Kyo would face the river again resting his arms on the railing trying to calm down before speaking again.

"Look, you can go anywhere here and surely every single person you met is going to throw flowers at you, give you presents, asking you out, but I'm not like most people, I wont treat you differently as I treat everybody else, so you can either accept that you're not getting an apology and this is a pointless discussion or stay here and keep threatening and I would act like if I care a little about it"

Kyosuke smiled when he saw the girl going red it seemed like finally he had the upper hand here, he just laugh at the statement of the teenager, he said the right thing but he saying it  doesn't make it right, she was one of those that love to have the last word, that could've be the end of the conversation but no, the blonde call up the toy who move and sit up on the rails while the girl ask it to attack him.

"NO! Please, anything but the killer toy! I'm sorry spare my life your highness for I am no worthy of your time nor presense" Said shaking his hands and bowing in a mocking tone. "You ain't that special, princess" Kyo finally took his digivice out of his poket showing the black and yellow D-Tector

Whow would've thought the voice was right! although still the little digimon didn't seem like much of a problem, but whit digimon one reallly never knows, if what Amelie told himwas right he should be careful when facing anything.

"Nah, I was just bluffing thought your partner would care a little about you, since I wasn't going to hit her figure threatening with throwing you to the river might do the trick put her in place, guess not she does seem to not care about anything yet she's still losing time with me" Kyo's attitude did a complete 180, seeing the girl blushing, yelling and embarrased was all he needed, karma was doing its work after all. "Ok I think we should start from zero and forget that any of this happen, unless you really want to fight but your partner doesn't seem that interested."

It seemed like the digimon didn't really wanted to fight, what a shame Kyo was expecting this to be the moment to try his new powers, oh well there'll be more oportunities in the future, the girl in the other hand took one step more into the princess act, it was funny to see her so mad and acting so childish, yet she still thinks she has the upper hand, maybe she was right, who knows? She took a couple of steps closer, bold move after what just happen, Kyo would just sigh at her last comment.

"Tell me something, does it really matter if a nobody like me says sorry?" it was a legit question, why she was so focus on getting an apology when it was obvious that she didn't care at all about what he thinks, maybe was just a thing of pride. "Like I said, go ahead and ruin my life, don't know what are you going to do tho, Friends I don't have that many for not say that I don't have them, Haven't seen my father in years since I ran away from home, can't see my mother or my sister due to divorce things and speaking about my sister she probably doesn't know that I exist" He sighed once more this conversation was getting nowhere and frankly he was getting bored by now.

"I have nothing to lose, go ahead ruin my life, you're not getting an apology anyway and honestly I don't know why you care so much, is it about pride? You want to feel superior? Or maybe..." A devilish smile was drawn on his face knowing that this would give an explosive reaction from the girl "Maybe you just love the fact that I didn't treat you like a princess but your pride doesn't let you admit it asnd just keep arguing to hide your feelings"

Good thing is as the blonde said, she's not that strong, otherwise he can see himself diving in the mudy river after that comment.

It seems like she wasn't getting the point of his comments, the last thing he would do it's use his personal life as means for someone to feel bad about him.

"No, I'm just telling you this so you'll see that I don't care what you can do, my career is not that important either, if I don't punch people on the ring, probably I'm going to do it on a street fight in Greater Shibuya, sure it's not legal but what is legal in Greater Shibuya anyways?"

And there she goes blushing again, seems like Kyo was on the right although she deny it at first, it didn't take too long until she went full red like a cherry and her voice was going softer too, guess thats what people call a CRITICAL HIT! and seemed to be enough since she just kept repeating like a broken record the words "No" and "Shut it", she then just gave up and walk away and Kyo couldn't contain his laughter anymore.

"Awww come on! Are you really going to give up that easily?" He started to walk towards her. "Just like that? What happen? You were giving me a nice fight up until now" He finally catch up and kept walking next to the girl. "Did you really like it that much? Because if thats the case we can be here all day, like I said I'm not gonna treat you differently as I treat everybody else"

It was to be expected that you can't win with this girl, either you lost because you're tired or she gives up, but you don't win nor have time to enjoy the taste of victory (if you can call it that), in anycase this wasn't over not when he finally was having fun, Kyo took a couple of steps further and stop in front of her.

"Now stop, you're not going anywhere or at least wait until you stop looking like a walking cherry" He say teasing at how she was still red. "Let's agree to disagree, I won't apologize and you don't need to admit that you kinda enjoyed that "fight", but if I have to give you something, that would be my respect, you have guts and you're really bold girl not many would've done what you did and keep fighting on an useless discussion even trying to boss me around with money and threatening me" Kyo smiled, he had to admit that in retrospect she did makee him almost lose his temper which it's nothing to hard but he does try to control himself when it's in front of a woman. "Like I said, let's start from zero, I doubt we can be friends but acquaintances? Yeah I can see that working, I wont treat you like a princess and if some one piss you off and don't want to expose your partner give me call and I'll punch their face out!"

In all honesty Kyo doubted that she would agree on anything, but he didn't lose anything and besides if she did agree it would be nice to know more people with knowledge about the digital world.
