"A switch?" Agumaru really liked his idea better, but this is Iki's hunt. "I suppose there probably is a switch. Hmm..." Iki spots the switch before he does - but there are two switches! "Hm. Take a look around, see what these switches might do." He doesn't see any traps in the walls... the ceiling doesn't look like it will collapse... but what is that seam in the floor? "Aha. Trap door. Got it. Hit the wrong switch and... well, it would be bad, but you can fly and I can... do something a bit embarrassing but it would keep me alive. But if you want, we can go out into the hall and use a projectile to hit the switch! But first..."
Agumaru stares intently at the two switches. They both look the same, and he had no idea if the constructor of the temple preferred left or right. So he did the smart thing and...
"eeny meanie minie moe... my brother told me to pick the very best one... one potato two potato..." and so on, until he chose the button on the right but did not push it. "And since that method never works, it must be the button on the left. Should I press it, or should we go into the hall first?"

Iki's eyes began to droop as Agumaru used his best tactics to try and choose a button to push. He was almost fully asleep when Agumaru asked if he should press it, to which he immediately opened his eyes.
"Hm? Oh, yeah, let's try and push it. You said the left one, right?" Iki asks as he walks up to the switch on the left. Before pushing it, he turns to Agumaru. "You might want to go back out into the hallway before I push this."
Giving Agumaru time to head back to the hallway, Iki then presses the switch on the left. At first... nothing happened. Then, suddenly, the fake wall began to give way, revealing only a small section of hallway. However, at the end, there was a pedestal with a Spirit Totem on it. "There it is..."
He then stepped off of the trap door, heading towards the spirit... and a certain thought came across his mind- No. Not gonna do it. Too risky...

Agumaru takes his own advice along with Iki's and steps into the hallway. "Get ready to fly," he half-yells to the Falcomon Spirit User. "Just in case!" He waits as Iki presses the switch... then waits some more... and as soon as he thinks nothing is going to happen, the wall slowly gives way to reveal the idol! "Yes," he exclaims, jumping up and down - and luckily not triggering any traps by doing so - "We found it! Now all we have to do is- wait..."
Agumaru narrows his eyes, suspiciously glaring at the Spirit from way back at the other side of the trap door floor. There was no way it was just a simple short hallway. If he was the temple builder, he'd place the trickiest traps in there. And if there aren't any traps along the way then...
"Don't touch the Spirit yet! Its gotta be booby trapped!" He hopes Iki can hear him..

Iki didn't hear (or didn't listen to) Agumaru and approached the spirit anyways. When he did, he turned back into his human form. Greatly relieved, he took out his D-Tector as it began to make noises.
"It is time, Iki..." Falcomon's spirit says from the D-Tector. Iki nods and holds the top part of the device towards the spirit. Suddenly, great winds entered this temple, powerful winds, as the spirit of the mighty Angemon was sucked into the green and black D-Tector. The ceiling of the temple ripped off like a bandage, revealing the cloudy and windy sky. Iki knew just what to do.
Iki held out his left hand as a ring of fractal code orbited it. He then used his right hand to scan the code with his D-Tector. "Execute! Spirit Evolution!"
Suddenly, Iki's body was now covered in fractal code, more than when Agumaru first saw Iki spirit evolve. After a while, the glowing faded, and instead of Iki, standing in his place was...
"Angemon!"

"NO WAIT-" Agumaru exclaims, but it was too late. Iki had already taken the Spirit. "That's... not good."
Then the trap sprung. The trap of... no ceiling? "Well. Huh. That's... not how I would've built it." Agumaru was actually disappointed in the lack of a real trap. How could the last leg of the temple run be so badly guarded? Unless...
Agumaru quickly glances around. Is the temple about to collapse? Is there something coming? the top of the temple was probably the only escape, but from what? He knew Falcomon had the ability of flight, but those fierce winds above were probably too strong for him. How would he get out? And Agumaru can't even fly!
Then a miracle happens. From a human came flight, from a bird came an angel. "Awesome! Good job Iki!" He was so proud of the new Angemon, but would he be their salvation?
