Chie tried her best to keep up with the group, but she felt like a husk walking through the forest with the group, she couldn't do anything. She failed Do, she failed his former partner, and beginning to think she failed herself. In both the shadows she's been caught in, she somehow let both down. She wasn't strong enough to pull her family back together, nor was she able to prevent Do from going off the rails. However answering Ravenna's question didn't exactly bring her spirits.
"From what I seen of dark digivolution, it's when a digimon succumbs to their lowest point. Be it out of hatred, sadness, or loss, when a digimon has utterly nothing left, they cave in. Do thought he was on the verge of losing' another partner to the same monster. This evolution is completely painful for the digimon, and the end result, even temporary, they turn into a monster."
Each word felt heavy as Death-X-Dorugamon's image was at the back of her mind. She recalled Do's painful screams as that evolution took place. Chie could only imagine the damage that form could've done to his psyche. She was glad to hear Cole trying to reassure her, but she knew Do was not gonna go down easy. However she did take the chance to answer the question as to her identity. "Oh, sorry bout that. Dire circumstances and all. My name is Chie."
Chie didn't enjoy the prospect of being eaten as Cole made a joke on the subject. At least he had two digimon, she had nobody but the group at the moment. Chie looked around and noted scratch marks, tracing her fingers along some of the patterns. She could only imagine what was going through her partner's mind.
Meanwhile, Do kept running, he altered his path, sometimes taking a left turn, sometimes taking a right, sometimes even through bushes, he tried to get away. But every time he stopped, the ghost of Takashi was always there. The specter hat given up on talking for now as he drank from his flask every once in a while. Do kept trying to run but to no avail every time. He finally stopped to look at Takashi in the eyes. "Why are you still following me!" Takashi sighed as he could see this was going no where. What he needed was to find a way to fix this quickly. Looking down into the DORUmon's eyes, he kept the question brief. "What are you running from?"
Do turned around and the ghost followed every step as they went back and forth with dialogue. Shouting louder every time. "I'm not running!" "Is it from me! I forgive you for what happened between us and him!" "I'm not running from anything!" "Is it from her? Are you guilty about abandoning her!" Do clenched his teeth as he shouted "I'm not running from anything!"
It finally hit Takashi, he figured what Do was deflecting. If he had a skeleton, his knuckles and fingers would have cracked as he made a fist. No wonder bringing Devidramon to justice wouldn't let him rest that easily. "I get it now! This goes beyond her or I, this is about your ego! Mr perfect hero who doesn't need anyone? Get real Do. You can fight a decent fight but even you need help! She was there to help you, she didn't want this to happen. She didn't want you to go all berserk and out of control since your as emotionally stable as a collapsing star!"
Do froze, he took a lot of crap recently, but this time he reached his limit. In a blind rage, he turned around quickly and began spitting metal balls from his mouth at a fast speed. "Metal Cannon!"
Takashi didn't move as the balls went right through him, embedding themselves into nearby trees. Takashi looked around to see the damage done, glad he was a ghost. "If I wasn't a disembodied ghost, that might have actually hurt."
Do keeled over onto his side, curling up into a ball as his breathing got erratic. Takashi sighed as this appeared to be a psychological break across several boards. He made a mental note that next time he comes back to help the living, bring a psychiatrist with him.

Ravenna continues walking down the path, hand in hand with Cole. The tall Tamer makes a joke about not wanting to wind up on the menu here in the Digital World.
"Thank you for that image. No one is going to be eaten while I'm around. BWAHRK!"
Chie goes on to explain about dark digivolution. It was when a Digimon had met their mental limit, turning into even more of a monster. Losing control felt like a human trait, but even Digimon had their own breaking point.
"That is so sad. I hope that doesn't happen to Spirit Users."
Do was still suffering after the dark Digivolution, struggling to come to terms with almost losing another Tamer. He tried to run from his past, but it would not leave him. With so much going on, Chie hadn't even formerly introduced herself to the young lovers.
"Chie, that's an interesting name. I think you mentioned it when you sent me a message about the task. Some people make fun of me because of my name. It doesn't feel that weird to me, since it's all I've ever known. But you can also call me Raye."
Ravenna turns and looks up at Cole.
"Now we just need a cute nickname for you. Your name is too short to abbreviate."
Tsuki continued to track the scent. Hopefully they were on the right trail. Cole was lucky to have not one, but two partners. Ravenna wanted a partner of her own. A Digimon partner. She already has her boyfriend, but she wanted her own little pet to snuggle.
"Maybe I should spirit evolve and search the forest from the skies. We must be getting close now."
It's amazing how quickly things have been happening since Ravenna became a Spirit User. She had only met Cole a month ago after taking care of some bandits in the forest, and they had already been in danger quite a few times together.

Ravenna and her random caws...On some level Cole was used to it by now, but on another level the feather crouch made him feel slightly awkward when she did it. Then again part of him found it oddly cute...oddly.Cole would get an answer from Chie about her name, which Ravenna was quick to comment on the younger woman's name, and letting Chie know she could call Ravenna Raye. Wait, thought that was for friends? It took Cole an entire night of hell before she told him to call her Raye!
Either way, now she turned to look at Cole, saying she needed a nickname for him. He blinked. "Good luck with that one Raye." he'd say, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand. "Cole is already my name shortened as is. My full first name is Coleson...its kinda lame so I stick with Cole." he'd say, likely the first time he'd told her his full first name, not that it was much of a stretch.
Tsuki up front mean while was making progress, she'd come to a stop and look to the side...there was a break through the brush, fresh, and now the scent was strong. This had to be a path Do must've taken. She'd check for prints, finding which direction he was heading, before heading that way herself, leading the group this direction. They was very close, Tsuki even started picking up pace. Kuyo was right on his twins tail, and Cole noticed. "Looks like we're getting close, maybe you should check from the skies, Tsuki is moving quicker now." he'd point out.

On the subject of names, she couldn't believe that Ravenna's name was mocked. She particularly liked the Raven as far as birds go. Nervously, she commented on the subject. "Really? Ravenna is such a beautiful name. Mine only comes from my parents expectations. My brother left a lot to be desired." Chie spoke softly, not wanting to open more than one can of worms today.
She felt hope as the digimon noted they were getting close on Do's trail, but Chie bit her lip, Do wouldn't stay in one place in this state unless something was wrong. He left destructive marks everywhere, but suddenly slowed down? Either he lost consciousness or something was seriously wrong. Her heart started pounding as she worried he would get into a fight, any fight right now would be disastrous as he could betray his morals and lose what's left of himself, or get killed again. She looked to Ravenna with almost terror in her eyes but she tried to swallow it and keep what's left of her cool.
"Ravenna, I agree, you better hurry. If he's slowing down, that can be a sign of a bad thing."
Chie tried to push those thoughts out of her head as she hoped for the best.
Meanwhile Do was still curled up with his tail between his legs, shaking as he couldn't deal with anything right now. He didn't know what to think or believe, he was out of safe waters as nothing was black and white at this moment. Do couldn't tell if he was betrayed or deceived for his own good. The spirit standing over him couldn't do anything but watch, he realized he had done his part, now it was time to cash it in to fate.
Do was shivering on the cold earth as he stopped moving for a prolonged period, feeling powerless in the decisions of his own life. "Why is this happening? Why did some humans get to decide my fate?" Do tried to get his bearings but the anxiety was overwhelming. The purple fox barely moved as he lied next to the bush, unable to deal with the existential crisis. Takashi couldn't help but make an obvious remark before taking another swig of his flask. "This is really sad, also I made my point, shouldn't I be done with you?"

The subject of names was a nice change of pace to raise their spirits, as the task at hand was quite worrisome. Cole mentions that his name is actually short for Coleson. Ravenna gives him a curious look.
"Really? Coleson? I guess it's better than coleslaw. I thought your name was short for Cole-aflower, or Cole miner."
Ravenna teases Cole a bit, but in truth she likes the name Cole. Mostly because she likes Cole, but it seems to suit him. Chie compliments Ravenna on her name. She said it was beautiful. Ravenna is flattered someone likes her name. While normally Ravenna only encourages her friends to use her nickname, she felt close enough to Chie already to be comfortable with a more casual nickname. Maybe she should start keeping track of who is allowed to call her Raye and who isn't. Chie had mentioned her name comes from her parents' expectations.
"Is there some deeper meaning to your name then, Chie?"
Both Chie and Cole seem to think it's a good idea for Ravenna to search from the skies. Raye lets go of Cole's hand and takes out her D-tector, spirit evolving to Psycrowmon and taking off into the skies. After flying overhead for a while, she returns to the group, and perches on Cole's shoulder. While in crow form, she could communicate telepathically, so that way it wouldn't sounds like a series of caws.
"Looks like we are on the right path. There's signs of a fight up ahead."
Tsuki is doing her job well. Chie didn't have much money to pay Ravenna to help, but any incoming funds would help the college student on a budget. If this recovery service thing doesn't work out, maybe Ravenna could get a part time job at a café in Shibuya, maybe become a cage dancer.

It'd seem Ravenna wanted to poke some fun at 'Coleson's name, earning an embarrassed glare from him as she went over 'potential' names it could've been short for. Ha ha Raye, real funny. He just looked off the other way for a moment, almost as if he was mad...yet the man still held her hand while they walked. Wasn't this just about the summery of their relationship in a neat little image--Ravenna teasing Cole, Cole looking off annoyed and embarrassed, but still holding her hand.
But after things seemed to pick up pace and it was clear they was getting closer, sadly Cole had to let go so Ravenna could Digivolve into her Psycrowmon. He'd watch as she'd turn into a crow and take to the skies, Cole looking forward again to keep track of Tsuki and Kuyo--they was both creating a gap. "Come on Chie" Cole would encourage her to pick up the pace as he begun to jog a bit. Unsure how much energy Chie had, or how fit she was to run, Cole kept the Jog reasonable, glancing back to make sure she was keeping up.
Tsuki dropped down as if she was a quadruped, a swift pace on her hands and legs as she kept her nose sharp, but now visible signs was almost all they needed to chase. Ravenna's call out to them confirmed they was close--and Tsuki...well she was rather fast on her feet when she needed to be, easily quicker then any human, even long legged people like Cole or track athletes like Ravenna, she suddenly took off in a full burst of speed, she could now hear someone yelling, maybe it was Do...
Kuyo tried to keep up with his sister but tripped, faceplanting...but Cole scooped him off the ground as he'd jog by, carrying the BlackAgumon. "S-Sorry Cole." "Its fine bud." the two had an exchange, Kuyo with a comical sweatdrop. Tsuki nearly broke sightline of them with how fast she took off, but suddenly the BlackGabumon came to a screeching stop, just short of running right into the situation...the smell was intense, had to be right here. She sat in pure silence, simply observing, seeing if she could spot out the Digimon...and sure enough--a purple tail with a white tipcould be seen peeking from behind a bush, one of a DORUmon. They found Do...But what would happen next.

As the group closed in, Chie tried to job but she felt her injuries start to get the best of her. However the pain didn't bother her as much as she thought as she received telepathic communication from Ravenna. As she ran, she wondered if Do would run, freeze, or heaven forbid fight. She heard his yelling, she knew he was losing it. When everyone came to a stop, she knew they found him. Immediately she felt her heart started gunning in her chest, she slowly peaked forward to see Tsuki eyes at the familiar tail of Do. Muttering under her breath, she told herself to not let him go if she can, or at least until he knew the truth.
Anxiety sinking in, she couldn't lose the only person who chose to stick around her. She walked through the bushes and to the other side, unaware she was being gazed upon by the specter she looked at the curled up fox dinosaur. Bending down, she reached a hand down she stroke his fur and cooed "Do... You poor thing."
Do instantly recognized her voice as he sprung up, knocking Chie back as he looked furious in his eyes. He couldn't stand the sight of her right now as he was almost ready to attack her. She tried to get close but he shot a metal ball at the ground right in front of her. "Get any closer and I won't 'miss'." was all Do could say. Chie, finally broken beyond everything, on the verge of tears tried to reach out to him. "I'm sorry for what I've done, but please, try to listen-"
Do shot another metal ball, this time getting closer, he didn't want to hear anything as he growled. "I don't wanna hear your lies, your excuses, you used me!" Chie wanted to say how sorry she was, but she could feel Do's anger and pain. He too was on the verge of tears as he let everything out. However the ghost of Takashi realized things weren't going anywhere quickly. Walking over to Do, he slammed his hand on the digivice "I leave him to you. Be what he needs..." and the digivice glowed a black light and Chie backed up knowing what was following.
Do became enveloped in darkness as his cries of pain roared and echoed in sync with the sound of his body crackling. His form changed in bursts as wings and metal wings sprouted, the figure thrashed around, eventually throwing off the Digivice in the process as the evolution of darkness took it's toll on the now Death-X-Dorugamon
Chie looked at Do with fear in her eyes as she tried to back away. Gasping for a breath as the cold lifeless eyes followed her before he pounced on top of her as she ended up against a tree. He leaned in close as he unhinged his metal jaw, letting out a large metallic screech. For once, Chie felt genuinely afraid as she she prepared to die, but something held Do back as he slowly turned around and started running. He jumped and beat his wings brutally and started flying away.
Chie felt like she was gonna pass out from stress. She couldn't believe what just happened. She grabbed the ground for support but she ended up reaching the digivice. Holding it wasn't exactly therapeutic right now. Taking deep breaths she tried to stabilize herself but all she could do was curl up and want to hide.
The spirit of Takashi was still standing there, facepalming at the lack of udder stupidity in reactivating his digivice from beyond the grave, yet alone shocked that he could still do that. "Well, that could've gone way better."

Cole didn't seem to appreciate Ravenna teasing him about his name. She was just trying to get him to chuckle a bit. They continue on through the forest, Tsuki going the fastest. Ravenna was glad to have a break from walking or flying, and she rides along on Cole's shoulder. She never expected to open up her heart to someone, but cupid's arrow had got her good.
"Hey Cole, could I try driving your motorcycle sometime? Now that I've gotten used to it, going fast isn't as terrifying."
Ravenna wants to get her own motorcycle now. The problem is where would she get the funds for it? That's probably where the money she will get from Chie if she completes the job will go towards. It wasn't easy living on a fixed budget. Her dorm room is covered by the scholarship, but not much else. Raye would have to start searching for more clients for her recovery service if she's going to save up for her own motorcycle. Maybe even get her first tattoo at some point.
Eventually, they come across the Digimon in question. Do is curled up in a ball. When he recognizes Chie, they attack her on sight. Takashi's ghost couldn't be seen by the others.
That was when something terrifying happened. The dead Tamer reactivated the Digivice, causing Do to undergo a hardcore transformation. So this is what a dark Digivolution is. It made Ravenna's skin crawl. Suddenly not all Digimon seem to be cute and cuddly. Death-X-Dorugamon takes off running away. Ravenna hops down from Cole's shoulder and spirit evolves to Suzamon. She looks a lot like her human self, but with longer hair, black and violet armor with chains and feathers, with two large black wings.
"I'll go after Do! Don't worry, Chie. It is going to be alright."
Suzamon dashes through the air, tailing the Dorugamon variant. Ravenna is worried about Chie. Seeing Do again did not go well. The Digimon is too traumatized by the past to face her. Do wouldn't even listen to her, accusing her of making excuses. It doesn't look like they would be able to reason with the Digimon. Maybe after a battle they could talk and settle some things.

The man continued to jog, he was trying to be careful considering he had a crow on his shoulder, and now was carrying the BlackAgumon...geez was he the Digimon/Spirit User taxi today? Either way he'd hear Ravenna ask him a question, which made Cole blink. "Ah...Maybe?" he responded, not sure how he felt about the idea of someone else piloting his motorcycle. I mean, you don't use someone else's toothbrush right? Cause that totally is the same thing right?
The BlackGabumon had found the Digimon they was after, but what was going to happen next was anyone's guess. The group would catch up, Cole going ahead and setting down Kuyo after his faceplant earlier, looking ahead to Tsuki. He couldn't see what she seen but it was obvious that she found Do. Chie caught up a moment after Cole did, despite him kinda holding back the girl was exhausted and previously hurt it seemed--so of course she was a bit slower then the full of energy Cole.
But he'd blink when the girl went on ahead, passing him up and also Tsuki--Cole wasn't sure if approaching Do right off rip was the right idea, and he'd come up to join Tsuki--watching Chie. The girl approached her distraught partner, and was nigh instantly attacked, her being knocked back. Tsuki covered her mouth and Kuyo ran towards the duo of Chie and Do, the DORUmon fired a metal ball near Chie. Being the fighter spirit Kuyo was, after the 2nd shot got closer he'd move in the way to stand between Chie and Do, arms out as he eyed the purple furred Digimon.
Tensions had skyrocketed quickly, Cole wasn't sure what to do, looking over to Ravenna in question. Tsuki would run up to stand near Chie, also ready to protect her if need be. Do was upset and no telling what he may do...But unknowing to them, the ghost of Takashi silently worked outside of their ability to see, slamming the Digivice...What followed would shock the trio of Cole, Tsuki, and Kuyo.
As contradictive as it sounded, the Digivice begun to 'glow' with a dark light, and quickly Do was swallowed by darkness, engulfed in it. Unlike when Cole seen anyone else Digivolve...this was something completely else, cries of pain echoed through the forest, and Do seemed hurt as his body mutated into something...else. This wasn't an ordinary Digimon, and Cole recalled Chie speaking of the dark evolution earlier...the name fit, Cole cringing a little at Do's pain as he thrashed about, tossing the Digivice once held around his neck in the process. Takashi's ghost...what have you done.
Kokuyoseki was standing between the dark Digimon Do, and his partner Chie--the BlackAgumon had a fighting spirit and will to protect the weak that simply was undying. Do screeched loudly at Chie--indirectly everyone else too...Cole's Digivce begun to glow--Cole pulling it out as it did. Both Kuyo and Tsuki become engulfed in a bright light, forms growing bigger before the light that hid their transformation would burst--standing next to Chie now was Tsuki in her BlackGarurumon form, and Kuyo standing in front of her as GeoGraymon. The similarly sized Champion tier Digimon let out a mighty roar, crimson hues eyeing Do...But...what--The Death-X-DORUmon turned tail, not out of fear--no--just a want to get away it seemed...the digimon taking off running, before taking to the air.
Ravenna hopped from Cole's shoulder and quickly entered her Champion form as well, Suzamon, Cole watching the young woman ensure Chie things would be okay and take off after Do. Tsuki would activate her Wings of Hermes, nigh invisible pads of light energy would form under the BlackGarurumon's paws and she'd take off into the skies after Ravenna and Do. Cole's eyes fell on Chie, seeing her struggling to even keep balance from her emotional stress--the man running up to the younger female as she'd just curl up, clearly distraught.
Cole knelled down next to the teenage girl, him softly resting his hand on her shoulder/upper arm, trying to show her she wasn't alone. "Chie? It'll be okay, we'll get Do to come to his senses and back to you, I promise you...come on, this isn't the time to just curl up." he tried to reassure the teen, a very concerned look upon his face as he tried to comfort the girl the best he could. Frankly after what they just witnessed, Cole even was afraid...His heart was racing from seeing Do transform like he did. But he put this all to the back of his mind as she tried to get through to Chie.
Kuyo growled loudly, watching the trio of Do, Raye, and Tsuki take to the skies and fly away...the GeoGreymon let out an angry roar, drawing Cole to look over to the large Digimon. "GET BACK HERE!" Kuyo yelled in frustration, the only one of them unable to fly...he'd suddenly take off after them, crashing through the forest as he did. "Kuyo!" Cole tried to call, but to no avail--the GeoGreymon continuing on after them, leaving the two squishy humans unprotected. Great thinking dino brain!
Cole huffed a sigh. "Come on, we can't be out here without them in case any other Digimon show up..." Cole said, standing up and offering a hand to help Chie up. Cole may have been with Ravenna but it didn't mean he couldn't still be a gentlemen.

Chie was on the verge of the end of her rope, she couldn't tell what she was afraid of; losing the only one that ever cared about her and showed it since her mother's death, or the monster he had become. For the first time in years, she wanted to curl up and bawl her eyes out, bawl her eyes out as she felt utterly helpless. She didn't want to move even as Cole rested his hand on her shoulder, his words nearly fell on deaf ears but she still agreed none the less, to live she needed to keep moving. Shivering and shaking, she tried to stand but fell back onto her knees quickly. Shock had got to her as she could barely move at this point. "I'm sorry Cole, I can't move." Chie barely muttered out this words as she fought the urge to pass out.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she felt like she was to blame for everything. She couldn't do anything to save those who ever cared about her. Her father fell into a deep pit, her brother became a hooligan, and now Do became a monster in his own darkness. Her tears rolled down her cheeks and dropped onto the screen of the digivice in her hand and the screen and it lit up white bit a speck of darkness festering in the center emerged as it came out, a floating specter of dark essence that flew off in the distance.
After the orb left, the digivice and the attached chain started to turn black as silver coding spiraled out of the center of the screen and along the whole construct. The device expanded lengthwise as a half ring shaped was created on the end of it, while a port like side developed on the right. The chain itself altered as it became sleeker and more necklace like as the chain moved to thread itself through the half ring. The device soon solidified as a Digivice burst with a silver trim on a steel necklace. The spirit of Takashi looked at the new device, now he was confused on what happened as well. "Well, that was unexpected, didn't realize they could do that. Ah well, I'm dead, what use to I have for it now?"
Meanwhile Do was still trying to make a break for it as his instincts forced him to want to bury himself away from everything that hurt him, nothing but rage and pain inside his mind. He heard the sound of the incoming digimon, in mid air he flew in a half circle to get a look at the aerial digimon. He forcefully unhinged his metal jaw again as he let out a terrifying sound that sounded as if a wounded beast was mixed with a metallic screech. The beast at first didn't want to fight, but now his instincts brutally took over the other by force as all the violent urges began to overwhelm him. The dark orb formed earlier flew past the two digimon chasing Do and hit the Death-X-Dorugamon right in it's processor port on his forehead.
A dark shadow enveloped the digimon as it cried out in pain, and soon after every inch of its body was covered, the process of dark evolution took it's toll once again. Do's body brutally expands as his arms turned into front legs, its tail lengthened as the majority of the wise turned into the spiked component and the rest into the secondary tails. Its neck lengthened while the gear on its head retreated to the top as a horn developed. His wings cackled and lengthened while spikes developed. As the darkness faded, the now Death-X-Doruguremon roared loud to a point where none in the vicinity could avoid the terrifying call of the dark digimon.
In a quick motion, it beat its wings backwards brutally as it launched itself forward preparing Bloody tower X. It twisted its tail as it coiled up, while on a collision course with the Black Garurumon. In a quick turning motion Do slammed its coiled tail into Tsuki's back, untwisting the tail in a controlled spin in Tsuki's back, before using the last of the momentum to fling Tsuki to the ground. The cold, lifeless, and blood thirsty eyes drifted over to the spirit user letting out a growl, as if it were signaling "Your next."

Do's fragile state had sent Chie's body into a mode of shock. Cole stayed behind to comfort the girl, but she is so distraught that she is unable to move. This isn't the time to have a breakdown, but given the circumstances, Ravenna understands why. Unbeknownst to the Spirit User, Do's Digivice begins to change its form. A dark orb flies past Raye, transforming Do into a somehow even more monstrous creature. Death-X-Doruguremon is quite the intimidating sight to behold.
Ravenna watches as Do curls his tail and strikes Tsuki, sending her into the ground. An attack directed at the Champion level from the now Ultimate Do would certainly do much towards taking Tsuki out of the game. Ravenna reaches towards the BlackGarurumon as tears fall down her face.
"Tsuki, no!"
Suzamon leans forward and wipes the tears from her eyes. When she looks up, she gives Do a raged-fueled glare. The Ultimate level has set their sights on the Psychic Spirit.
"Alright, Do. You just made this personal."
Suzamon raises her arms, as black and violet colored magic energy spirals around her. Her body starts to grow feathers, and her wings begin to grow large. The magic energy forms a sphere before shattering open, revealing Fayemon, the Psychic Beast Spirit.
Fayemon has a silver helmet with a beak, long black hair with a long violet ponytail, and giant black wings with black and white spiral patterns on the lower half. She has black chest armor with glowing violet designs. She has black gauntlets with feathers and sharp claws, chains, and spikes on the elbows, black armor boots with claws, and spiral patterns, a dark violet skirt with black feathers, a chain wrapped around her right ankle, and black lipstick with dark violet tattoos on her face and arms.
Fayemon takes flight, and darts back and forth in the air facing Do. She starts rapidly flapping her wings, creating a large gust of wind. Dirt and debris is kicked up into the air. Do might be pushed back by the attack, and might even be blinded by the barrage of dirt kicked up.
"I didn't want to hurt you, but you are not giving us any other option. You mess with Tsuki, and you mess with me! BWWAAAAAAAHRAAAAAAHWK!!!"
Even if returning Do peacefully to Chie was their goal, Do isn't going back without a fight. They couldn't just turn tail and run away, leaving the Ultimate to rampage through the forest. Even though Ravenna is intimidated by the massive beast, she is going to do what it takes to stand up for Tsuki. Though it would probably only upset Chie more seeing Do attacked. Good thing Cole is there to support the girl in her time of need. _________________

As Cole tried to get Chie to respond, she didn't, he could feel she was shaking when his hand had been gently rested on her shoulder. When she eventually did try to get up she couldn't find the strength too, apologizing to Cole. He shook his head, "Its alright Chie..." he'd say, knelling down beside the downed teen. He could tell she wasn't doing well, stress, shock, emotions, fear, everything--it was getting to Chie it seemed. Out of the corner of Cole's eye, he could see the Digivice come to life again...and release something else--racing off away from the two. Cole sighed, this worried him, he had no clue what that was, but felt no matter what...it wasn't good. But right now he had other things on his mind and ignored the digivice's actions. "Sorry but we gotta go, we can't stay here." he'd apologize in advance, as Chie would feel Cole move to pick up the smaller girl, an arm behind her back and the other hooked under her knees. Luckily she was very light and he had zero issue doing this. He'd stand with Chie carried in his arms as he'd start briskly walking after Kuyo and the sky trio...following the path of destruction by the enraged GeoGreymon was easy at least. The skies off in the distance meanwhile would see the situation escilating. Tsuki was quick, regardless of on the ground or in the air, the Wolf rushed after Do...but Do would make a arcing turn to face Tsuki and Ravenna. The corrupted Digimon's jaw unhinged and let out a metallic banshee's wail of agony, making the BlackGarurumon show a concerned look...Do looked to be in so much pain--and now he'd suffer even more. The orb that released from the Digivice earlier would fly past the duo in the sky of Tsuki n' Raye, and would be absorbed by the fearsome champion before them...what happened next could only be right out of a nightmare, as if the first dark evolution wasn't enough--no--Do would Digivolve again, form corrupted beyond recognition, and soon enough....Death-X-DORUguremon was before them. Tsuki's blue hues watched in horror, but she wouldn't have time to gawk, no, Death-X-DORUguremon focused on her right away--the Digimon would rush Tsuki, spinning up its tail and as Tsuki tried to move to avoid it--she was too late. The BlackGarurumon was hit in the back by the move, a loud cry of agony echoed though the forest before she was released--launched straight down. To much in shock to react, the BlackGarurumon crashed through some trees before slamming into the ground, followed by the echo of Raye's cry out for Tsuki, shaking a bit before reverting back to BlackTsunomon, the Digimon quickly passing out...a full power unexpected shot from Death-X-DORUguremon, an ultimate vs her as a lone twin champion, it took everything out of her. Kuyo was rushing through the forest and seen this happen, running over to stand over his downed sister. Kuyo's eyes filled with pure rage as he looked up into the skies, roaring loudly in anger at Do. Cole carrying Chie would slowly be catching up, he could hear Kuyo roaring but couldn't see Tsuki anywhere, the tamer beginning to look around frantically as he begun jogging, trying to keep as steady as he could so Chie wouldn't be to uncomfortable with the pace the tall man was going. He'd look up in time to see Ravenna Digivolving, which made him blink as he'd never seen her go past Suzamon before. He'd come to a stop once he caught up to Kuyo, and the man's jade hues fell onto Tsuki, widening in terror. "W-what....what happened?" Cole tried to ask, stepping around the raging GeoGreymon to stand near Tsuki...if he wasn't already holding the injured teen, he'd likely be holding Tsuki right now. Kokuyoseki would growl loudly before pulling something from deep within him, rearing his head back before launching a shot of Lava into the sky towards Do. Kuyo was purely enraged, not even thinking about the fact they needed to subdue Do. "Lava Shot!" echoed as he fired this, crimson hues glaring daggers at the skybound ultimate. Lava shot--0/3 -Lava Shot: Pulling it from deep in GeoGreymon's stomach, the Digimon launches out a shot of lava. This shot doesn't travel amazingly fast, but a direct hit is going to do tons of damage. This has a 3 post cool down.

Chie gripped onto Cole with one hand, and the digivice in the other as she listened to the cries of Do in intense pain, she couldn't even bear to look at Do as she could hear his pain, but was helpless to do anything about it. She tried lying to herself by saying it's all alright, but nothing could reassure herself at this point. She heard the sound of Tsuki screaming in pain before the sound of a crash, she opened her eyes to look at the sight of the wounded digimon devolve. She almost cried as she saw the damage Do was doing, she couldn't help but look at what his darkness was doing. "Tsuki.. I'm so sorry." She didn't want any of this, now it was beyond simple tracking. Do was now on a rampage, and people were getting hurt. At this point, Do was slowly losing himself piece by piece and all Chie could do was watch as he rummaged through the people trying to help him.
Meanwhile Do faced the now evolved Ravenna, it couldn't help but snarl as it prepared to brace whatever it had coming for it. As the wind pushed it back, it tried to fly forward. Pushing forward, Do tried to beat the wind but it made barely any ground so to speak. However Do's narrow focus left him open to the attack of Kuyo as the lava shot was pushed back by the wind. The blast did hit Do in tip of the tail, leaving it incredibly hot as bits of lava dripped off of it.
Do growled but due to the nature of his form, it didn't bother him as he didn't even bother looking at Kuyo. Do growled as the larger spikes on the tips of its wings shot out, attached by chains as they were aimed towards Ravenna's wings, ready to pierce right through them and to follow suit, drag Ravenna back to Do, aiming for a close ranged attack.
All Chie could do was watch as she could tell what the beast was doing, trying to run and hide from the world, but sadly it couldn't do much about it's situation. Intuitively, Chie knew what was going on within what was left of the digimon's mind at the moment. "He's, crying. He's all alone in there with a monster."
abilities used
Metal hook: Shoots the two closest spikes on the wings, leaving chain attached back to the wings as Do drags the digimon back in for a furious barrage of attacks from claws, teeth, and horns. As well as limit mobility of target. Takes a post to drag target. Cooldown, three posts.

Tsuki's cries in pain only fueled Ravenna's wrath. Do had hit the BlackGarurumon so hard, it knocked the wolf all the way back to the pup BlackTsunomon. Meanwhile, Cole was now carrying the lightweight girl. Chie had been pushed to the limit both mentally and psychically today. Ravenna had heard of dark Digivolution, but it was an entirely new phenomenon in person.
In a rush of anger from seeing his sister harmed, Kuyo fires a scorching Lava Shot. The blast hits Do right in the tip of its tail. Ravenna notices the lava dripping off of the beast's tail. It is a good thing that she has a high resistance to heat while in this form. This was the first time her boyfriend Cole had seen her Spirit Evolve to Fayemon. She is so much most beastly in this state, naturally as it is her Beast Spirit. Champions are plenty capable, but having the body of an Ultimate level is such an incredible experience. Fayemon's wingspan must be no less than 20 yards across. Her sharp claws make her such a vicious foe.
Fayemon's Windstorm was not very effective. The Death-X-Doruguremon fires two spikes on chains from the tip of his wings at Fayemon. The spikes pierce Ravenna's wings. She cries out in agony as she struggles to remain flying. Do starts reeling Ravenna in with the chains.
"That's it. You do not want to use chains around me."
This attack was a reminder of the confrontation with Kyou the Steel Spirit. She still has some bruising on her wrists and ankles from Cheshimon's steel digging into her flesh. Though in this form, Ravenna has her own attack using chains. Fayemon lets out a loud caw, as the chain around her right leg unravels. The Psychic Chain flies towards Do and Ravenna tries to wrap the chain around them. Ravenna focuses on wrapping the chain around his legs, attempting to trip the behemoth up.
It seems that recovery jobs Ravenna takes in the Digital World would be much, much more dangerous than she was hoping for. Do is the biggest Digimon she had even seen. Kuwagamon and BlackGrowlmon didn't even come close in size. Maybe the size of half a leg. The sheer size of Do in this stage makes it difficult for Fayemon to wrap the chain around Do. As long as her wings had those spikes in them, Ravenna is not getting out of close range. If she is going to battle Do, it would have to be up close and personal. As much as she wants to help Chie, right now she wants to take Do down. With Tsuki out of the fight, Raye and Kuyo would have to really bring it to challenge the dark Digimon. ________________

Post by Cole Archer on May 21, 2018 1:57:58 GMT
Cole's eyes told a lot of the story as he seen his downed partner, sorrow and fear both present in the man's jade hues. This seemed to be a bit of a trend lately...and it killed Cole inside knowing his best friends was fighting and getting hurt. Chie probably could feel as Cole's muscles tensed up, him letting out a shaky sigh as the man would go ahead and step away from the situation, even though he wanted to do something, there was nothing he could really do. Cole walked over to a tree here in the woods, hopfully out of the way of the battle, where he'd set Chie down gently so she could rest there. Cole would turn back after standing back up right, looking at Kokuyoseki and Tsukihikari. One out cold, the other in a heated rage...if it wasn't such a dire situation this may have been an interesting sight to behold. The an quickly moved back to go grab Tsuki, softly picking up the BlackTsunomon now that his hands was free, before he'd return with the in-training Digimon over to Chie. As he came back his eyes had nearly fell to emptiness, green orbs nigh blank in expression now. He was hiding it, or trying to, but clearly the man was upset at seeing Tsuki so hurt. He'd keep the small spiked fur ball in his grasp as he re-joined Chie by the tree he'd set her up against, turning back towards the other's. He'd let his eyes go skyward again, Ravenna and Do was the only two above now, both ultimate-tier...Fayemon's wingspan was impressive, Ravenna had become something stronger then he'd ever seen before. But now their fight seemed to begin winding up. Do would launch two spikes leading lengthy chains towards Ravenna, Cole's eyes flashing over with emotion again as they first narrowed in reminder of him and Raye's latest adventure before this...Cole was starting to think about removing the chain from his own pocket watch at this point, he was so tired of seeing chains. He cringed a bit, and looked on in worry when they struck Ravenna. Apparently the girl shared the same distaste for chains as of late...a comment made about it. But then this would be followed by the Fayemon's own chain-based attack. Kokuyoseki meanwhile had gone mostly quiet, a simple low growl heard from the GeoGreymon. He simply was ignored by the Digimon...it fueled his anger. He wanted to fight so bad, but...he was grounded. His growl slowly was growing louder as he eye'd the huge corrupt Digimon. Do had fallen far...and compared to Ravenna as Fayemon, even with her impressive wingspan as the Beast Spirit, still looked small compared to the dark Ultimate. Cole heard Chie's comment on Do, that he was crying and alone with that...'thing', monster indeed. Cole's teeth clutched tight, Kuyo's want to fight was bleeding into Cole as well...Not for the sake of fighting, but to save Do and stop this. For a quick moment Cole would turn back to face Chie and knell down. "Please look after her." he'd request from Chie as he'd gently hand Tsuki over to the teenager before sanding and turning--walking back towards the battlefield again, where Kuyo was. As Col was stepping away, should Chie look at him, she'd likely easily notice Cole's pocket beginning to glow. Kuyo roared loudly towards Do as Death-X-DORUguremon, the tall young man with longer brown hair stepping beside his partner as they both looked up, both Cole and Kuyo's eyes filled with determination as they looked on. He didn't even notice his pocket glowing, not until it got even brighter with a pure light. Finally it caught Cole's eye and he'd glance down at it, a hand reaching over and fishing out his Digivice. It was glowing brightly, and beginning to beep even. He look on at the bright screen with a bit of shock, this was similar to when Tsuki had faced off against that of Kyou... Wait, the Digivice wasn't the only thing glowing. While Ravenna was aware of it, Chie wouldn't be, but Cole always had on the necklace that his older sister had left behind the night she disappeared almost 10 years ago hidden under his shirt...and right now, it too begun to glow--a bright azure slowly fading in, becoming brighter from under Cole's shirt. He'd look down and reach up with the hand he held his D3 in, slipping his thumb around the chain and lifting it up out the top of his shirt to look at it. "...Wh-...whats going on?" he questioned, both a glowing Digivice and now pendant of his/Scarlet's necklace in his grasp. Crack, Splinter. It almost sounded like ice that just had been splintered, the sound of a small crack would be heard, and a small bright glowing piece of the Azure light that had enveloped Cole's necklace would slowly fall away from the necklace...the pendant itself lost its glow, and revealed a small piece of the blue crystal pendant had chipped away. This piece was the now glowing and slowly floating down sliver, Cole's other hand reaching down to catch it in his grasp, before bringing it up and opening his palm to look at it. It morphed, the small sliver of light became bigger, shaping into something new. It became its own pendant, a chain forming with it, and as the pendant itself lost its glow and shined with a nigh golden color, the square upon the pendant still would glow...finally fading to reveal a sky blue crest... The Crest of Valor. (Link)Cole's eyes watched on in shock, absolutely lost as to what just happened, or what he now held in his hand. Kuyo though...his growl has faded, and a smirk crossed his face. He didn't know what Cole had either, no, he was a Dino-Brain after all, but he could feel it...the energy surging within him. Cole looked up to Kuyo, seeing the confident smirk...it calmed the man. "...We can do this can't we buddy? Come on, lets save Do!" Cole would encourage Kuyo. The Digivice in Cole's right hand, and the Crest in Cole's left hand finally would glow one last time, and Kokuyoseki was engulfed in a bright light, rizing off the ground. The orb that surrounded Kuyo, hiding his transformation completely--a stark contrast to these horrifying dark evolutions--would become larger...growing in size before it begun to crack and splinter, the sound of the cracks mimicking the single cracking sound heard before when the pendant lost its sliver, before it finally shattered with a mighty roar, large mechanical wings spread, and a revolver easily the size of Cole now drawn to Kuyo's left arm. Kuyo was no longer GeoGreymon...but RizeGreymon. Cole feasted his eyes on Kuyo's ultimate form, wide, but...full of hope. Maybe Tsuki had all the tactics and know how to handle herself in battle, but she'd lacked the confidence in herself and that doubt lead to her...literal fall. Kokuyoseki...he was full of valor and confidence. The RizeGreymon would bend his knees a bit, knelling a little, as his wings spread, before launching himself skyward with a mighty leap. Light energy pulsed through Kuyo's wings and allowed him to take flight, soaring towards the battlefield in the sky in aid of Ravenna and with the intentions to save Do. As he would rise to the battlefield and get in range, he'd lift his left appendage, a large revolver making up Kuyo's left arm, taking aim at Do. "Thunder Shot!" He'd shoot and instead of a bullet, the round turned to pure sound energy, the directional shockwave aimed towards Do. Thunder shot--0/3 -Thunder Shot: Happening instantly as compared to the small prep time required for the other 'shot' abilities, this will turn one of RizeGreymon's natural bullets it can shoot to pure sound energy, releasing a powerful directional shockwave. This shockwave only travels a medium distance but packs a powerful force behind it, blasting the target(s) with an intense concussive force and potentially blasting them back. This has a 3 post cool down.
Natural/Non-Combat abilities -Flight: With it's mechanical wings, RizeGreymon is able to take its battles to the skies. -Revolver: While nothing special in itself, it can fire a round a second, doing average damage upon hitting, with no special effects. This also doubles as a nice blunt weapon to smash opponents with. -Smell: Being a dragon dinosaur like Digimon, RizeGreymon has an extreme sense of smell, equal to that of 1000 bloodhounds.
