Chie tried to catch her breath as she was set down against a tree, her eyes drifted to the beast of her partner with a longing glare, she wanted to solve all his problems but couldn't, she was just a mortal woman. She couldn't help but mutter the words "I failed you, both of you. Takashi, can you rest in your grave?" Unbeknownst to everyone but the now berserk digimon, the spirit of Takashi was in fact present and listening. Leaning against a tree, he toasted his flask and took a swig, pretending Chie could hear him. "Aye, it's alright. He's a stubborn mule even when he's not a complete monster of darkness."
As Cole entrusted her with Tsuki, she grabbed her and held on her lap and kept an eye for the horn while running her fingers along the dark fur. She could see the pain Do inflicted, she knew he would save a lot to answer for later. When he recovered his body, she knew he wouldn't recover his soul as easily. His conscience was growing heavier by the moment, and what she feared was that deep down, right now, he knew it. Not knowing whether Tsuki was able to hear her or not, she kept herself talking so she could remain stable. "Tsuki, I am so sorry. Do would never do anything like this normally. He is lost in his own despair, he has lost his way. Normally he is the goofy hero who would risk his life to save digimon like you, human jerks like me, even if we don't deserve it."
Takashi smirked as he could see that finally someone else was committed to Do through thick and thin. "Atta girl, keep it up. Do needs a beacon, let him follow. But for now, let these guys do the leg work."
Meanwhile, the berserk dragon felt his legs bound as he growled, his did not like having his movement restricted, after all, feeling trapped was what led him to this state. He couldn't do anything but try to shake them off. While not as bad as his wings, he still needed to move his entire body for certain motions. The beast tried to pull with all his legs to break the chains but to no avail.
As Ravenna was being dragged closer, Do got hit by the thunder shot on his left side, the angle of the concussive blast knocked him back but Do used that to his advantage as he took the pain, starling, he began flying at a downward angle as he maintained his position, but Ravenna being dragged along would be bellow him. His sight drifted to the RizeGreymon for a moment but he barely gave Kuyo a snarl before focusing back onto Ravenna, as if Kuyo was not a major threat. With his legs and wings out of the question, there was only one option as gargling sounds could be heard from the beast. Something was coming through his neck as the bulge could be seen trailing up his throat and up to the mouth before Do twitched his head back and jerked it forward while spitting out the iron ball towards Ravenna.
This was no mere iron ball for it was twice the size of a cannon ball, but had such condensed mass that it weighed equal to ten times the digimon who launched it. Do's spikes would surely retreat out of Ravenna regardless if the hit connects, but unfortunately as Ravenna still is attached to her chain onto him, Do risked him falling with her, but he was fine with that. The dark dragon wanted nothing more then the utter carnage of anyone who wanted to stop him from finding peace.

This was a dire time, but in the darkness there is always hope. Tsuki was down, leaving Fayemon and a flightless Kuyo to take on Do in his Ultimate dark Digivolution state. Cole sets Chie down against a tree, goes over to the BlackTsunomon and brings her over to Chie. The Tamer's Digivice starts to glow, and a fragment of his necklace breaks off to form a crest. Kuyo Digivolves to RizeGreymon, and the beast gets back into the fray.
Ravenna's chain had wrapped around Do's impressive frame, restricting his movement by binding his legs. Do's chains had pulled Ravenna in close. The behemoth then coughs up a massive iron ball, firing the metal meteor attack right towards Fayemon. Ravenna is too close to avoid the attack. She goes to dodge to the side, but the cannonball hits her in the side of her ribs. Fayemon's body goes into a state of shock, as her ribs snap from the impact.
Fayemon is sent flying back. The spikes through her wings rip out, and her psychic chain snaps close to her leg. Do would be able to free himself from Fayemon's chain now. Fayemon flies backwards through the air, crash landing into a tree on the way down. She lays there on the ground, struggling to breathe. She will likely have a large bruise on her right side after an attack like that. The pain is unbearable. It is a good thing her beast spirit form is much tougher than Suzamon. An attack like that would have killed her if she was in her human form.
Ravenna lays there on the ground, battered and bruised. Blood drips down from her mouth. It's possible one or more of her ribs pierced her lung. Do is an opponent unlike any other. All Raye wants right now is to be back at her dorm room with Cole, maybe take a nice relaxing bubble bath. Had she deluded herself into thinking this Spirit User thing was a good idea? Well she would never have met Cole if she had not received her D-tector. Her mind starts to drift into the abyss as her body struggles to maintain her beast spirit form.
(Thinking) "Why is this happening? All I wanted to do was help. Did I fail as a Spirit User? Am I going to let Chie down? I try so hard to juggle everything in my life. I try to make everyone happy and give them enough of my time, but in the end it seems like I end up letting everyone down. Do is too powerful for me to take on. Maybe even fighting with Kuyo won't be enough to save him. Damn it, I tried. I really did. Oh god, this pain is so intense. What kind of attack was that anyway? I don't even know if I can get up."
The Psychic spirit speaks to Ravenna telepathically.
"Ravenna, do not give up hope. Right now I am creating barriers in your mind to block as much pain as I can. You are badly injured, but your form will hold for now. You must not lose faith in yourself. It is when the mind is consumed by darkness that things like dark Digivolution can happen. I know how difficult it is for you to handle so many things. Your schoolwork, track, time with friends, being a Spirit User, and now even being a girlfriend...
You must learn how to manage your life, and keep a clear mind. You can't make everyone happy. You are going to fail sometimes. The important thing is that you get back up, and take whatever challenges in front of you in stride. Your body is weak, but your mind and your spirit are strong. The pain does not last forever. You are still Ravenna. Now get back into the fight, but be careful. Remember what you are fighting for. You were chosen as the bearer of my spirit for a reason. Embrace your inner power."
This is just what Ravenna needed to hear right now. She struggles to turn herself over, and rises up. She tries to stretch her wings out, but they have been badly damaged by the spikes and the fall. The good news is that she is out of range for now. Fayemon raises her arms out and looks up at the sky.
"Come to me, my feathered friends! Rise up, and protect your mistress. BWAHRK!"
Several crows begin to caw around the forest. A dozen crows ascend from the treetops and circle Do. One by one they swoop down and dive bomb Do, pecking and scratching at his face, attempting to deal damage and distract Do. It isn't the most dangerous attack, but they would be more than a little nuisance for the Ultimate.
Fayemon had taken a severe blow, but the fun is just getting started. She is out of harm's way for now, and her wings will feel well enough to fly soon. The crows are just misdirection. Ravenna has a plan in mind.

The BlackTsunomon was very out of it, but hearing Chie did make Tsuki begin to stir, if only enough to hear part of what was said, but not enough to respond. She simply had to put her trust in her brother and Ravenna at this point to save Do, wishing she could muster enough to respond to Chie, Tsuki was only able to shift her position a hint. Kokuyoseki's attack hit, but Do seemed to use the blast back to drag Ravenna down with him, barely giving Kuyo a glance as he clearly didn't consider the Digimon a thread. Going into a dive it'd seem before launching a large metal ball towards the Spirit User, Kuyo watched as Ravenna was hit hard and launched towards the ground upon impact from the Metal Meteor. Cole's eyes focused on the Fayemon as she was struck by the attack, widening some as he watched her take a dive from the sky. "Ravenna!" He'd call and take off running in that direction as she went crashing through a tree before hitting the ground. He'd rush over, finding her laying on the ground, eyes full of shock and concern, struggling to even breath after the powerful strike. Surely an attack like that would've easily killed her if she wasn't at such a strong level...the man watched as she flipped herself over, he would've approached by when she tried to stretch out her wings it sort of blocked him from getting closer from the angle he was at. "Raye..." he'd say, a shaky voice clearly full of concern for her. Everyone around him was getting hurt...Cole felt helpless to do anything. He'd simply watch on from the sidelines as Ravenna called upon her feathered friends to come aid her, swarming Do. Kuyo seen this, hoping it'd distract Do, Kuyo would quickly fly to move himself in position, knowing Do kept ignoring him the Dino-brain actually thought tactfully for a moment, putting the sun at his back to mask himself in the light, before dive bombing towards Do. Hoping having the sun behind him would cover this approach, he drew his left appendage back. As he came in he'd swing his 'arm', rather, the giant revolver that made his arm, looking to use the force of the dive bomb and muscle behind the swing to slam Do right over the head with the blunt metal weapon. Maybe not the most graceful tactic, but may be effective if it connected. Regardless if it did or not, Kuyo would get a short distance between himself and Do before taking aim with the giant gun, Do surely able to look right down the barrel. Said barrel pulsed with an arc of lightning as it became magnetized--a titanium bolt formed in the cylinder. Shifting aim to strike the right wing, Kuyo prepared to fire. "Gravity Shot!" Cylinder and Barrel for the moment became one, magnetic forces shifted and would launch the bolt out of titanium at extreme speeds from the rail gun, the recoil throwing Kuyo's revolver up once it left the barrel, speeding towards Do's wing, hoping to ground the beast for the rest of the battle. "-Gravity Shot: A Titanium bullet is formed in the shape of a bolt, and the cylinder and barrel of the revolver charge up with magnetic forces, the alternating magnetic current propelling the titanium bolt to extreme speeds nigh instantly, sending it at mach speed towards the opponent. If it hits, the force of the impact is intense, able to blast straight through champion and under Digimon, stick into Ultimate Tier still dealing significant damage, and while not able to pierce Mega and up, still does considerable damage to them. This has a 3 post cool down." |

Chie watched as Do point blank shot Ravenna with a brutal attack. From what she could see, it was a single cannon shot, but something was different as it seemed to hit harder than one shot would normally do. She assumed something was off about that shot. However she immediately saw Coles reaction and couldn't help but feel utterly jealous of Ravenna until she recalled that Ravenna just got hit by a horrid attack. She sighed and kept speaking to Tsuki, mostly to help her keep focused. "You know, I can't help but be jealous of that relationship. Never known anything of the sort for myself. Do is great, but he's not for me, as a Fladramon he's downright perfect but me and him aren't exactly the best as he has his dark days. He can often get over protective and acts like he's got a thorn in his ba-"
Recalling why Tsuki is in her arms, she cut herself off mid sentence as she recalled what transpired earlier. Her eyes kept back to the field.
As Ravenna went down and loosened her chain upon the beast, Do took the opportunity to escape the grasp as he brutally beat his wings back while the spirit user fell only to send flying a wave of birds. Do moved back to gain some distance between himself and Ravenna, hoping to shake off some birds but what he ignored came with a vengeance as the swing from Kuyo's attack hit the back of his head. He lurched forward out of the impact, but his long neck was able to stop the body from following as far. He realigned himself as he dived to the side and turned, so that Kuyo was on his left, Ravenna on his right, and as many birds as possible in between. He dropped a bit so Kuyo was higher. He jolted his head up as it seemed a wave of small objects traverse his throat.
Letting out a ferocious roar while sending out a barage of needles as he moved his head diagonally down creating a large wave that would end with the direction facing Ravenna while taking out as many birds as he can. This was a completely unpredictable attack as Kuyo's bullet got deflected off several needles, but it still hit Do but it hit in a different place, it hit Do in the head, particularly two centemeters to the right of the digicore interface on his forehead. Being so close to his weakpoint, he couldn't help but the following roar, he wasn't feeling the pain but his instincts knew he was going into a risky position. His head lowered a bit as he tried to recapture his balance, now he was cornered. Now he was dangerous.

Fayemon had been sent flying back through the air by Do's metal meteor attack. The Spirit User could hear her boyfriend Cole call out to her. After she struggles to rise up, she sees Cole standing there. Her rage is momentarily silenced with despair and regret. After summoning her crow allies, she steps towards Cole and lets her shoulders droop.
"Cole, I'm sorry... I'm sorry for putting you through that. I know how much you care for me, just as I care for you."
Fayemon retracts her claws and caresses the side of Cole's head, running her hand through his chestnut hair. Ravenna didn't know it, but Chie is really jealous of their relationship right now. It is easy to see why. Ever since Ravenna took down the walls around her heart and let Cole in, the two had become quite the couple.
Kuyo had grown tired of being ignored, and fueled with the drive to avenge his sister's defeat, the RizeGreymon dashes towards Do with the sun at his back, striking the beast with his metal appendage and launching a shocking Gravity Shot attack. The blast is aimed towards Do's wings, but it ends up hitting Do close to the center of his forehead. Judging by the dark beast's reaction to the blast, this seems to be a weak point of theirs. This gives Ravenna an idea.
Do sends out a massive barrage of needles. Several of Fayemon's crows are taken down. Raye holds Cole close to her chest and wraps her wings around him, taking several needles in her wings. Ravenna lets out an agonizing groan as they pierce her wings. This battle is too dangerous, and Tsuki might not be the only one severely injured by the end of this. Fayemon would have to take action.
"You have to trust me, Cole. I will be alright. I'm a tougher girl than I look. Only you brings out my softer side."
Fayemon would allow Cole to take some of the needles still lodged in her wings out if he wishes, and show affection for her before she turns her attention back to Do. She slowly raises her wings out, takes a deep breath, and launches up in the air. She perches on top of a tall tree to get a clear shot at Do's forehead. Her crows circle around her, providing weak meat shields to try and absorb incoming damage, as she prepares her most powerful technique.
"How can you expect to defeat the dangers around you when you can't even win the battle inside your own mind? Your hatred and fear have blinded you. It gives me no pleasure harming a beast that knows nothing but chaos."
Fayemon stretches her arms out to the side, as violet energy spirals around her wrists. The violet tattoos on her body glow bright, as she brings her arms forward and points her palms towards Do. A sphere of black and purple energy appears next to Do's head, and begins to grow larger and larger. Once Fayemon has built up enough energy, the bomb would explode, dealing a devastating amount of damage to anything close to it. Ravenna calms her mind and focuses her energy, moving the Psychic Bomb to keep it close to the Ultimate's head. Ravenna feels her muscles tightening up, as the pain in her side is almost impossible to ignore. This attack could be the game changer they need.

Actions: Fayemon shields Cole and herself from Do's needles with her wings, taking damage. She perches atop a tall tree and charges up her Psychic Bomb.
Psychic Bomb: Creates a massive amount of psychic energy in a concentrated area, generating a massive explosion, enough to blow up a building. Takes one post to charge. 6 post cooldown.

After Ravenna had summoned her murder of crows to attack Do, Cole would be approached by the Fayemon, who'd surprise him by apologizing, it came off as strange in the middle of a battle, but was still to be a touching moment between the two as the Spirit user would caress Cole's cheek afterwords. His hand reached up, softly gripping around her wrist when she did this. "You don't have to apologize Ravenna...I don't have the strength to help but you do...Just thought I was the one who did the risky things?" he'd say, bringing up the numerous times he'd put himself in dangerous situations. If anyone should apologize for that stuff it was him.
Tsuki managed to peel open a single sky blue hue half way, disoriented she'd scan her surroundings for the battle, listening to what Chie said. At this point she at least heard it all. The BlackTsunomon would slightly puff up as she drew a shaky breath, trying to offer some words for Chie, however due to her injuries taken from the corrupt Ultimate her words was very labored. "...Maybe Do....can't be to you like Cole is to Raye...But as partners you two share a bond that can never be severed....You clearly care for each other.--" Tsuki paused a moment to catch her breath, shifting around to look up at Chie with a single open eye.
"Even on Do's darkest days, as long as you're there for him, being that light in the darkness...then you two will get through every challenge in front of you. You just need to be the light to guide Do out the dark...he's lost...you said it yourself...you have to show him the way." she'd struggle to get out, shutting her eye afterwords as she was frankly pushing herself too much to speak. But that was Tsuki, she was a wealth of wisdom and always hoped to help other's see the way. Between her breathes she'd open up to Chie a bit. "...Cole has his dark days too...maybe it doesn't result in a...rampage like Do...but he's incredibly self destructive...he lashes out at those he cares about, he puts himself in unnessary danger...ends up hurting himself usually punching stuff...but me and Kuyo are always there for Cole, and now so is Ravenna...and there are bonds there that can never falter for it...you and Do have that bond--thats whats important..."
Back to the battlefield, Kokuyoseki noticed Do trying to get away, but the large Digimon indeed failed to notice the RizeGreymon--and oh was that gonna be a headache for Do once he came too. The large revolver bluntly slammed into the back of the Digimon's head, the long neck of the corrupt 'mon bending both in reaction to the slam and unintentionally also absorbing some of the impact. Do rushed to put himself between Kuyo there in the air, and the duo of Ravenna and Cole on either side of the Digimon.
This was when Kuyo went to take his shot with his Gravity shot, which was met with a barrage of needles from the Digimon as he roared, arcing his head to cut an area of destruction. Kuyo would watch his Gravity shot slightly change course, nearly striking Do directly in the Digi-core...that nearly would've ended the Digimon's life, the shot making sure when this was over Do would have a headache he'd never forget...But luckily he'd survive. The RizeGreymon spun himself in the air and tail whipped the needles heading his way, coming out of it with some in his tail but otherwise mostly fine. The look shared between the two Dragon Digimon would be one of valor, the other of rage and destruction, feeling cornered.
The needles hadn't only effected Kuyo, no, he got off easy it seemed. The attack had ended with a wave of the needles rushing towards the couple of Cole and Ravenna. Cole didn't even see it coming, surprised when he found himself pulled in and Fayemon's wings wrapping around him, hearing the needles strike her wings made him look to Ravenna in shock and a bit or horror as he could hear the pain in her groan from the attack. He's grip onto her a moment, eyes glancing down as she spoke to him.
Guilt, it seemed something Cole constantly struggled with since he'd gotten to the Digital World, and it was washing over him again. If he'd not been there, she could've probably just dodged the move, but ended up hurt trying to protect him. A tear welled up in one of his eyes and would fall, dropping down his cheek as he looked back to her. He couldn't even say anything, he just felt bad. He'd back up and gently try to remove some needles from Ravenna's wings, likely hurting a bit but no worse then trying to fly with them in would continue to hurt...
Finally she'd launch herself up, and Cole watched as Ravenna perched upon the top of a tree, eyeing her target with strategy. Cole would decide to retreat, he needed to make sure he wouldn't end up being a burden for Ravenna as she'd go to prepare her ultimate attack. Cole would return to Chie and Tsuki, head hung a bit and letting his bangs fall over his face some, shading his eyes from sight as he approached the injured teen and BlackTsunomon.
Kuyo would watch Ravenna, attention drawn once she started trying to speak to the beast. He'd watch as the Fayemon would exicute her strategy, building up a pshyic bomb before exploding it beside the head of the Digimon, the dragon Digimon waiting to see what happens next before proceeding with an attack.

Chie was glad that Tsuki was still able to talk, she was grateful for the advice but it didn't make things easier. Seeing Do go ballistic was hurting her heart worse than any damage Do has inflicted, and she knew full well that he was suffering more than anyone. Perhaps it was Do rubbing off on her, but she couldn't stay still as she slowly moved her body to stand. Getting onto her knees, she shifted Tsuki so she would be carrying her in her left arm while using her right arm for support. She coughed up a bit of blood onto her arm. She was fighting every fiber of her very being as she started to stumble. Her focus was too blurry to focus on much more than what was important, and accidentally forgot about Cole as she passed him."Screw it, I'm not just gonna sit around while others clean up my mess. Both of us are better off together as neither of us are in a position to fight or run."
The ghost of Takashi shrugged and followed her, still making commentary that no one could hear. "Uhm Chie? Shouldn't you return Tsuki, or are you too deep in your own head to notice him? Chie stopped after recalling she passed by Cole, she stopped and stumbled back to hand off Tsuki to Cole. "This is yours, let's make sure all digimon go home with the right tamer."
Meanwhile Do was starting to reach the end of his rope, however something was itching at him. A question, but it was clouded by darkness as the state of dark digivolution was interfering with his thoughts, but as the battle was going on, Do was still at the back of his own mind, fighting against the pain. But his instincts took over again as he took note of the orb of energy coming his way. Instantly he made a dive towards the thing, horn first with intent that the jagged blade would protect the weak point behind it. The piercing attack connected with the orb, however the corrupted digimon missed its mark as it struck the left side of the orb.
The inedible explosion would destroy the horn except for a small stub, and most of the left side of the dark digimon's face guard. The digital interface was now fractured and crumbling on the left side and cracked on the right, fragile to a point where even a in-training digimon could break it easily. The dragon's digimon red eye was now exposed as it frantically looked around as Dark Corruption was now waning with Do's center now in danger. Tears could be seen coming from the exposed eye as there was flares of yellow trying to take over the red eye. Mid-air, Do stopped flying and curled up into a ball and with his front claws, scratched at his head as he fell into the ground.
Chie soon found her way to the large dragon, stepping on a twig and snapping it, the large digimon was alerted immediately. He jumped and unfolded his body as Do roared at the sight of her, his exposed eye now partially yellow. Chie was not scared of him as she kept stumbling towards him, using her right hand to reach into her purse and pulled out an old piece of paper and unfolded it while bringing it out. "Do! I know your still in there. I know you don't want to hurt me or anyone. I never wanted to hurt you by keeping secrets, I was trying to stop you from reliving the pain. I tried to stop you because it was not what Takashi wanted, he didn't want to be avenged."
As Chie was right at the dark digimon's face, she held up the note written by Takashi in his own blood. Tears rolling down her cheek. "He wanted me to save you from your pain. I failed. I'm sorry, I am sorry for not telling you about him. I found his hand and my digivice, then I met you and I didn't know how you'd react and I was scared you would do something stupid and get eaten by the cannibal." Do's thoughts started to surge as he was now fighting the darkness, his guilt was fueling it but something was fighting it, it was Chie. Her presence was giving Do the feeling that he was not alone, that was worth fighting for. "She had nothing to gain and everything to lose. Yet she did something like try to help a wreck like me. I don't deserve her."
Chie fell to her knees, her head faced down in shame as shadows concealed her eyes. She was done, she confessed everything and now she was ready to face judgement. She didn't deserve Do after all she had done. "I am done, leave these people out of this. I am ready to face judgement. If anyone needs to die today, kill me. These four have nothing to do with us."
As Do was pushing against the darkness, he saw Chie ready to die. He couldn't stand that, his eye pushed out the last bit of red as Do's natural yellow took over. Do could now feel all the pain in his body as he stretched out every fiber and let out a belching roar as he was purposefully straining himself. His interface started to crumble bit by bit under it shattered into three pieces resulting in a massive implosion before an explosion of dust.
Chie thought she was dead for a minute as all that could be seen in the surrounding area was a dust cloud, leaving everyone including those caught in it deep in suspense. As the smoke cleared all that was left was Chie and in front of her was Do, in the form of a Dodomon shivering with pain, struggling to get words out. "Dear Omnimon... Chie, forgive me. I couldn't see the obvious, I was just refusing to see beyond what I knew. I hurt you and dragged you through hell, your not even a fighter or as strong as him, yet you risked everything to prevent me from turning into a monster even when I betrayed you. I don't deserve you."
Chie simply picked up the digimon and hugged him tight, not even caring how much pain he put her through since she had him back now. "Shut up you fluffball, just shut up. We both don't deserve each other's light. I never hated you or wanted to abuse you for a second."
After a few moments of silence and tears, Do got squimish as he tried to look around. "My memory is fuzzy, did I hurt anyone?" Chie stayed silent for a moment, Do knew in that time he had restitution to pay. He would gladly pay any debt back later. "Oh, not really." Do knew Chie was lying, but only to prevent his guilt from crashing down on him. However he didn't want this moment to end, but all good things must come to an end.

Ravenna and Cole shared a tender moment together. He was right, he did often put himself in harm's way, but because he wants to protect those that he cares about. Ravenna wraps her wings around the couple as the spikes pierce into them. Fayemon had already taken more damage than anyone should have, and she didn't know how much more she could handle. She gazes up at Cole with a look of desperation. Her boyfriend would pull the spikes out of her wings. It hurt almost as bad as when they went in. Regardless of the challenges in front of them, the important thing is that she has Cole there for her. Ravenna would take flight, charging her ultimate attack.
"Must hold on a little longer. There's too much on the line to give up. I won't let everyone down."
Tsuki told Chie what she needed to hear. The Tamer needed to be strong for Do right now. If Raye could have heard it, she would have been moved. After Fayemon took off, Cole would retreat to safety. Kuyo was fighting the behemoth more fearsome than ever. Chie would take action having been inspired by Tsuki's pep talk, heading towards Do before realizing she still had Tsuki in her arms. Takashi reminded her, but he is a ghost so no one besides Do even knew he was present. Chie stops and turns back to hand Tsuki to Cole. Hey, if anyone besides Cole is going to hang out with Tsuki, it's going to be Ravenna. Tsuki is just too lovable for her own good.
The time to end this dangerous battle is now. Ravenna finishes up charging her Psychic Bomb. The massive sphere of psychic energy explodes close to Death-X-Doruguremon's face. The blast destroys most of Do's horn and part of his face. If the horn had not been in the way, it's possible that the attack would hit his weak point head on, and revert the dark beast all the way down to a Digitama. Chie would hurry over to her injured partner. It appears both of them felt guilty. It wasn't the first time someone let their emotions get the best of them, but it didn't always have such drastic consequences. Several areas of the forest had been badly damaged in the attack.
(Thinking) "It worked? Is it really over? We did it."
For the first time during the battle, Ravenna cracks a small smile of relief. She pants as she takes in a few quick breaths. Her chest expands and collapses as her body struggles to breath with her punctured lungs. She was exhausted after that attack, drained of almost all energy. She struggles to even keep her eyes open. Fayemon falls backwards, as she plummets towards the ground. She reverts down to her human spirit form Suzamon on the way down, then down to Psycrowmon, before finally returning to her normal form. Cole is too far away to make the save. Maybe Kuyo would be able to reach her in time before she hits the ground.

Psychic Bomb: Creates a massive amount of psychic energy in a concentrated area, generating a massive explosion, enough to blow up a building. Takes one post to charge. 6 post cooldown.

The man glanced up from under his brown locks when he noticed Chie pushing herself to stand up, still having his partner in her grasp as she did--and the teen girl would stumble by Cole as if he wasn't even there--him tempted to snag Tsuki from her when she went by but hadn't thought of it fast enough--considering he wasn't exactly in the best mental state with all that was going on--but she'd seem to be 'reminded' by...well, nothing, but something, but nothing--at least nothing they could see or hear. How? Who knew, Ghosts are weird. Wait, does Takashi confirm ghosts are real? This could bring up so many questions, if only they could see and hear him.
Cole would have Tsuki returned to him by Chie, he thought he should say something to try to stop her from whatever she was about to do due to her injuries, but the man his simply held onto the BlackTsunomon and remained quiet--not like she'd listen anyways. Although her words seemed almost comical, like an attempt at a joke in such a dark situation...maybe at a better time Cole would've smirked at that, but no, not today.
The battle in the sky was where the real action was, Ravenna had taken her time to charge up her orb of psychic energy, and in an odd turn of events Do went straight for it. The beast was mad, truly. Kokuyoseki was on standby, and likely a good thing, cause what happened next was very devastating and would prove Do really couldn't take any more damage dished out to him. The explosion of physic energy produced from Ravenna's orb was powerful enough to literally blow away a section of the visor of the corrupt dragon--revealing a crimson hue that almost reflected those of Kuyo's as he watched on. The exposed eye seemed frantic, a harsh contrast compared to the clearly rage driven and fearless battle that took place prior this moment. Kokuyoseki was able to draw a small smirk to his lips as the RizeGreymon seen the flashes of the real Do fight to take control, visually represented by Yellow attempting to control the red orb before Do would curl up, and fall from the sky to the ground.
Cole watched as he held onto Tsuki, the large dragon falling from the sky and crashing to the ground. Surely such a large creature hitting the ground made a small blast, Cole shifting to put his back to it to keep Tsuki safe from any flying twigs or stone. Cole turned back to see Chie rushing over to Do--Kuyo was slowly floating his way down, taking a position hovering over the situation, keeping a birds eye view on what was happening. Focus for now was on the duo of Chie and Do. Cole would happen to glance up and over to where Ravenna had been perched, just in the nick of time to see her start to fall backwards. Cole's eyes filled with fear and he took off running, not that he could do anything. Gravity was a hard force to beat in a race. Kuyo on the other hand caught this out of the corner of his eye, and the RizeGreymon turned, diving and rushing after the falling Spirit user. Ravenna was reverting back through her forms, before back to her normal self.
Kuyo dived in like a hawk....even though he's a dragon, and Ravenna would feel a single large clawed hand gently wrap around her and tuck her against the large Digimon's chest, and he'd turn about--rapidly slow them down as they plummeted with his mechanical wings. He didn't have the time to fully stop the fall, but slowed enough he could use his legs to absorb most of the impact of landing. Kuyo's legs hit the ground and bent, a rush of dirt and any other small debris coming out from the spot he landed, forcing Cole to again shield himself and Tsuki. He rushed over to the two, Cole gently setting Tsuki down somewhere soft before Cole came up, the large RizeGreymon shifting to lower Ravenna down to Cole and the man would take her into his arms--a hand behind her knees and the other under her back. "Ravenna, you okay?!" he'd ask in clear worry for her, since clearly taking that dive wouldn't have happened if she wasn't hurt.
While the couple was focused on eachother, Kuyo glanced back over to the scene unfolding between Chie and Do. Tsuki couldn't see it, 'Thanks Cole--don't face me towards the action or nothing.', but she listened. After what seemed to be forever, if only due to the tension, Chie got through to Do, and finally the Digimon was able to fight off the corruption, reverting back to a simple Dodomon. It was over...Kuyo smirked and glew a moment as he reverted back to his Rookie form, standing with what seemed to be pride as the BlackAgumon watched on...but then the fatigue of having gone Ultimate for the first time hit him, and the normal ol' Kuyo everyone knew returned, him plopping back on his bum and wincing. "Nya...Woah...almost forgot how much that takes out of me..." he said, a moment of remembering a prior life? Kuyo's memory may not have been as clear as Tsuki's, but he had his moments...
