It was a beautiful day in the Digital World. The sun was shining, the Biyomons were singing, and it was a moderate temperature, too. Yes, it truly was the perfect day.
That is, of course, until a bright light came from the middle of the forest, followed by a loud crashing sound too. If any nearby Digimon went to follow this noise, they would find something most peculiar...
It was a human girl. A human girl with white hair, a denim jacket, white pants and brown boots. A yellow D-3 would be laying right next to her unconscious body, too. Clearly, this was the girl's first time in the Digital World. She was originally just an average, albeit shy teenager, who had just said goodbye to her grandmother and was on her way to school.
Then odd things started happening... and now the girl was here...
It was a terrible day in the Digital World. The sun was too bright, the Biyomon were too loud - and probably gossiping about Agumon and ToyAgumon - and the training from the night before left Agumaru with no sleep and an almost-dented head. Yes, truly it was a perfectly miserable day.
Then Agumaru hears the crash in the woods. "What now," he grumbles, his usual impossible-to-keep-upset attitude having been misplaced under a rock somewhere. "Maybe a Digimon fight is going on?" Then his imagination took over. "Or maybe a Mega Level Burgermon used Burger Meteor, and a giant burger fell in the woods. Or maybe a food bomb exploded, and they need help cleaning up the delicious mess!" There was his chipper mood, right where he left it! However, it was a quite fragile mood.
He makes his way to the 'food', through the vines and branches, to find.... a human? The poor girl was unconscious. This was NOT food. He pokes her a few times, making sure she was still alive. "Are... are you okay, Miss?"
"U-Ungh..." The human girl mumbled as Agumaru poked her. Clearly, she was still alive, but she was not prepared for what she was about to see. She slowly opened her eyes and got up, looking around. At first, everything was very blurry.
"Where... where am I?" She asked, still not really being able to see, since she had just woken up. Eventually, her eyesight did begin to get better. She was in a very green area, with trees everywhere. How did she get into the forest...? She was in Shibuya just a few moments ago!
The girl then realized that something was poking her, so she began to look around some more. Then she came face to face with what seemed to be a living pile of Lego blocks. The creature could see the human's face slowly turn from a state of neutrality to a state of pure horror.
"AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" She screamed, kicking the poor creature right into the face. "GET AWAY! GET AWAAAY!"
The good news was the human was alive. Agumaru gives a sigh of relief. He did not want today of all days to be when he comes across a dead human. He was already having a bad day as it was. The human stirs, so he steps back just a little bit, grinning widely as she-
Well, there goes what's left of his good mood. Before he has a chance to calm down and stop echoing her scream, He's kicked in the face. "Aaah- stop that! Hey no! That's not cool!" Luckily it was a young human attacking a pretty tough Rookie Digimon, so it didn't really hurt. It was still very annoying however, and not great for his self-esteem. "I didn't do anything," he complains, "I just tried to make sure you were okay! So why are you attacking me and afraid of me? Am I really that ugly?"
The girl was absolutely terrified at this moment. Not only was she in an incredibly strange place, a place that did not look like her home at all, but now she was talking to a Lego brick dinosaur!
"Leave me alone..." The girl told the ToyAgumon after he had recovered from the kick. "I don't... I don't know you, and I don't trust you, especially since you're a walking, talking dinosaur..."
Eventually, she realized something was wrong. Yes, she was terrified out of her mind, but... she was talking to someone other than her brother or grandmother. She wasn't twirling her hair around over and over, despite that she was uncomfortable in this situation. "Oh, why am I here...?" She asked herself, curling up into a ball and beginning to cry. "I want to go home... I want my brother, Iki..."
She looked back up at the little dinosaur, a bit less scared than before surprisingly, but still cautious of this... thing. "W... What's your name?"
Yes, he was a walking talking dinosaur. But not being trusted because of that? Wasn't that a bit racist? "Well you're a walking talking- er... at least talking, you haven't walked yet - a talking human. Should I not trust you then? But..." He sighs, calming down a few notches. "Yeah, I'm someone you don't know, so I guess I understand why you don't trust me."
The human then breaks, and Agumaru has no idea how to fix her. "I...I'm sorry... I don't know why you are here... humans just keep showing up here in the Digital Worl-"
Something she said... Agumaru thinks for a moment, trying to understand what seemed strange about her words. "Your brother... did you say Iki? I know a human named Iki but... does he have a sister? I don't know. Hm, maybe if I give him a sister, he'll be happier! You two would be perfect for each other!"
"I can walk..." The girl says, getting up on to her feet finally. "Sorry about... kicking you, I was just not expecting you to be the first thing I see. My name's..." Wait, she still didn't know who this thing was. Giving her real name might not be a good idea... a fake name might be beneficial until she trusted him - or other living things here - more. "...White Wolf. Yeah, my name's White Wolf."
Two things that Agumaru had said caught her attention: Apparently, she was in a place called The Digital World. The Digital World? Did that mean everything here was digital?
....then that meant this Lego dinosaur was made of data! Living data?! This was absolutely unheard of! This would absolutely shake the entire population of planet Earth as a whole if this was discovered! And second... he mentioned he knew an Iki.
"You met Iki? He disappeared two years ago... tell me, what did he look like?"
Before Agumaru could respond, rustling could be heard from the bushes before two new Digimon poked out: an Agumon and a Gabumon.
"See, I told you, Gabumon!" The Agumon excitably told the Gabumon. "I told you something was here! And look, other Digimon came to check it out as well!"
"Yes, indeed," the Gabumon replied. "It appears to be a human girl... and yet another variation of Agumon. A ToyAgumon, if I remember correctly."
Once all the violence calms down, Agumaru understands the girl's situation. "Yeah, it seems Digimon have that effect on new people." He gives a blocky shrug. Getting kicked in the face wasn't that bad. Sure it was annoying, but in terms of self-defense, it was an In-Training level move. He completely understands now.
The girl introduces herself with an unusual name. Do humans have names like that? Not the ones he's met, but maybe they're from different areas. "Nice to meet you, White Wolf!"
Iki disappeared two years ago? Perhaps she needs a replacement Iki after all. "Well," Agumaru begins, "he looks like-"
He doesn't get a chance to finish, as two Digimon appear. One is a Gabumon, and the other is... some variation of Agumon. Unfortunately, the Gabumon is confused as to which is the real type of Agumon, and the 'real' Agumon is in a bad mood. "What do you mean by that," he growls, narrowing his eyes.
White Wolf, whose real name was actually Rebecca, nods to the little Digimon. "It's nice to meet you too... er... what's your name, again?"
Then Agumaru was about to explain what the Iki he met looked like. Just as she was about to get her answer, two other Digimon popped out: an orange dinosaur who seemed to look similar to this Digimon she had just met (although not made of blocks,) and another lizard-like creature with a wolf pelt and a weird symbol on his belly.
White Wolf sweatdrops as Agumaru begins to get angry. "Uh, there's no need for violence..."
"Isn't it obvious?" the Gabumon asked, unaware that Agumaru had just been triggered. "You're a ToyAgumon. As you can see, you have similar features to my brother Agumon here, except the biggest difference is that you are made of multi-colored bricks. You can't have gone this long without realizing it, have you?"
Seeing Agumaru's eyes narrow, Agumon steps in between Agumaru and Gabumon, in case that Agumaru decided to go wild and start attacking...
"I'm Agumaru," the colorful Agumon tells 'White Wolf'. "Agu-maru. Nice to meet you!"
The mood did not last long, shattered by the new guests. A Gabumon and an Agumon 'variant' arrive, and the Gabumon insists that Agumaru is the variant? The Gabumon continues to 'insult' the 'real' Agumon, insisting he is a toy and there was no way for him to go this long without knowing this. If it weren't for the human, it would be go time!
Luckily, the poor lost human's presence softens Agumaru's rage. "I am not a Toy Agumon," he growls, looking over at White Wolf. "I am a real Agumon. Do not listen to these falsehoods, don't fall for the rumors. That Agumon-" he points at the one now protecting Gabumon - "is only orange, whereas I have lots of colors. Therefore I am the real Agumon, and he is an OrangeAgumon variation. Simple as that!"
"Nice to meet you too, Agumaru," White Wolf greeted him with a great big smile on her face, something that she hasn't done for years, so it was a wonder how it just came naturally for her now. Strange...
That smile did not last when Agumaru starts getting defensive, claiming he wasn't a ToyAgumon, and that the Agumon here was something known as an "OrangeAgumon." White Wolf really had no idea what to say in this, since not only did she believe the Gabumon more (as ToyAgumon was definitely more fitting for Agumaru,) but she didn't want to upset Agumaru any more. She also didn't want to upset these two newcomers.
"That doesn't even make any sense," Gabumon sighed after Agumaru gave his reasoning for why he was a real Agumon.
"Yeah!" The real Agumon agreed with his brother. "I'm made of scales, you're made of plastic! Come on, human, you believe us, don't you?"
Agumaru smiles at White Wolf. She seems positively friendly, putting him in a much better mood. "Nice to meet you too! Wait... I already said that!"
It was not quite as nice to meet the Agumon and Gabumon, however. Agumaru's blood boils - or it would except for quite a few reasons he doesn't have any. Nonetheless, their constant put-downs are getting on his nerves, and he was already frustrated today. They really need to learn some manners!
"Look," he explains slowly thorugh his teeth. "BlackGabumon are black. RedVeggiemon are red. You are orange. Therefore you are an OrangeAgumon. I am multicolored, so I cannot be a 'some color'-Agumon, and thus I must be the real Agumon!"
The 'OrangeAgumon' tries to argue how he is made of scales, but Agumaru ignores the plastic part. "You may have scales," he says tensely, "But my scales are harder. So I must be the real Agumon. Don't you believe me, White Wolf?"
"Uh... well..." White Wolf didn't know what to say at all! Agumaru's logic was flawed at best, but she didn't know anything about Digimon! Normally in this situation, she'd curl up into a ball and stop interacting with the world entirely in this situation. Now, for some reason, all she's feeling is a bit awkward.
"Okay, that is it! Pepper Breath!" Agumon immediately yells, blasting a ball of fire right at Agumaru. He would then immediately follow up this attack with charging up to Agumaru and scratching him with his claws.
Both White Wolf and Gabumon begin to sweatdrop when the fight starts. Gabumon because it was yet another fight that Agumon had gotten himself into, and White Wolf because the two were now starting to fight!
"Stop this, please! Fighting isn't going to get us anywhere!" After the fight went on a while, White Wolf had enough. Growling, she grabbed the nearest stick, which happened to be staff-lengthed, and smacked both of the dinosaurs on the head. "I SAID ENOUGH!"
Agumaru stunned White Wolf with his perfect logic, though in the process seems to have angered the pair of Digimon even more. In fact, the OrangeAgumon let his anger at not being the real Agumon get the best of him and launched a fireball at Agumaru. He takes the full force of the attack, trying to prevent it from hitting White Wolf. "Wha-watch it," he cries out in alarm, "You're going to hurt her! I can't let another human get hurt because of me!"
Fireballs are too dangerous to just let loose out here. He could burn White Wolf or the woods, and either would be problematic for him. He runs into melee range, whirling his arms around like mad.
The fight goes on for a bit, as Agumaru does his best to keep the human out of harm's way while also trying to get OrangeAgumon to knock it off. Eventually, both Agumon were hit in the head. "Ow... who-" he begins, before figuring out the human did it. "Why'd you do that? I was trying to protect you!"
"Letting the adrenaline of the moment pass, White Wolf looked at the stick and realized what she had actually done. She immediately dropped the stick and stepped back a few steps.
"G-Gommenasai (S-Sorry)... I don't know what came over me. I don't usually do that kind of thing!"
"Wow, White Wolf..." Gabumon said, amazed by the interaction that had just happened. "I have much respect for you now. Not many are brave enough to stand up to my brother like that, especially when he's mad."
"Speak for yourself," Agumon groaned as he rubbed where his nose was struck, "that actually really hurt! And from a HUMAN, no less! Actually, that is quite impressive..."
Before anyone could say anything else, Gabumon noticed something on the ground. He went to go pick it up, and noticed it was definitely a Digivice. "White Wolf... I think this Digivice is yours! That means you're digidestined!"
