One, Two, Three, Question Mark? [Chie]

As Amelia prepared a plate for the squirrel digimon, he couldn't help but be confused. Hew couldn't believe someone drunk off of de-alcoholized wine was the least odd part of this whole mess. He looked at Amelia with a confused gaze as she just served him like he was nothing to be surprised at. "Alright, seriously, a plushy comes to life and you just serve it a plate of food while it's owner is drunk off of DE-ALCOHOLIZED wine?" Saying things allowed seem far fetched as Do decided to cut right to the chase as it was clear she probably was either a complete sociopath, or already well aware of the digital world's existence and Digimon.
After she served him a plate, he didn't feel comfortable eating right away until he had some facts ironed out. "Okay, let me just come right out with it since Chie is way to out of it to even guess the mood of a snail." Chie poured herself another glass of wine as she barely even cared for Do's reaction. "Aw, here I was hoping for a friend outside the digital shenanigans." Do rolled his eyes as her drunken decisions were contradictory to her desires. "Anyways, still leaves the question, Amelie, what are you?"

What was the truth, however? Was Amelie actually a sociopath or did she just knew what a digimon was? And better yet; would she through the motions of coming off clear, when a secret had been presented to her in the first place? That was something she was pondering at the moment.
A small smile graced the brunette's features. "Well, to be honest. I was kinda already guessing that you were alive? You should up your acting game a bit; it wasn't very good." Blunt, sincere and teasing. Off to a good start. "Sides, what kind of hostess would I be if I didn't have food for a new guest? I'd probably be disgusted with myself. And you look pretty hungry, too; have you been eating well?"
Would that be good enough for an answer? Chances are that it wouldn't, at least until Chie complained about her friendships. To that, the teenager would just shrug. "If it helps anything, I know what a digimon is, more or less, but I don't have one myself. The blame is on a pair of brothers and a lone digimon, who, just like you, were too loose mouthed to keep things under wraps, too. So, your reaction is more or less... the pot calling the kettle black? That's not very nice."
She then proceeded to nod at the digimon. "I'm a human being. An 'unpartnered' human being? I think you call the ones who don't have a digimon that. But, with the surprise that I also know a bit about digimon and that I've been to the Digital World occasionally. Is that enough for you?"
Now it would probably will. Amy took another sip of the wine and began eating a bit. Maybe there was a long-winded speech coming her way.

Do was listening to Amelie ramble on about her knowing the digital world. This was a pleasent surprise as it means the trouble Chie put him in was less then what he had expected. However he didn't sense any signs of a digimon presence earlier so he had no idea whether or not Amelie was involved with his world. "Fair enough, I suppose I am a bit of a hypocrite. But for all I knew you were just some poor girl caught up by accident! I couldn't sense anything so I am flying blind here."
However when Amelie didn't claim to have a digimon partner, Do started to get a bit suspicious at that fact. He gazed at Amelie intensely, trying to find a flaw in her appearance, and he realized what Chie saw in this woman. However the lack of imperfections was a little disturbing as he had to know at this point as he walked towards Amelie to get a closer view. Unaware he was vocalizing his thought. "Hmm, looks real, gotta be very careful as if you look close enough, you can see the truth."
He poked Amelies thigh a couple times until he realized he was dealing with flesh, not a holosuited digimon. "Yep, real human. Not a holosuit. Damn that's almost impossible. Sorry bout that, just wanted to check. I've seen digimon pose as humans to escape consequences." Chie sighed as she was starting to gain a bit of clarity as she started to let the situation catch up with her. "Do, what are you doing out of your digivice?"
Do sighed as he believed didn't seem to have her short term memory in order right now. "Your drunk, you drunk digitized me, she's already aware of digital world. I suspect she's one of those soul wielders I heard about."

Well, at least the purple squirrel accepted that he wasn't being the most reasonable being around; even then... he seemed a bit suspicious about her? Not that he could blame him.
Amelie shrugged at the gaze, proceeding to give him a quizzical look as soon as he began talking about 'seeing the truth'. What was he thinking right now? Well; the brunette found out soon enough. While the invasion of her personal space was something she hadn't expected, at least he hadn't been terribly rude with it.
"Did you really think I was a digimon?" The teenager couldn't but ask, a puzzled expression on her features. "Why? Did I do anything digimon-y? In any case, I'd be pretty impressed with myself if I had managed to get an apartment being a lone digimon, unless I was a really strong one."
What would a digimon gain from this kind of deception, however? The teenager wasn't sure, and for now... preferred to not find out. At least Chie seemed to be recovering a bit from her drunken stupor, and that was enough for Amy to wave at her, a smile already beginning to draw in your features.
"More or less what happened; after you tried to be all lovey-dovey on me while I was cooking. Gotta say it flattered me a bit." That was something they could address later, however. For now, she had a plate to finish.
