Personality: Akimi appears as a sweet young lady on the surface (literally), but she has a bit of a short fuse on some subjects. She hates when someone assumes her age wrong thrice or more, as her condition makes it very awkward when talking as some people believe they're talking to a child. However she gets very passive aggressive when she receives help, such as someone helping her reach something off the top shelf; she would thank them on the surface but still hate them. She wants desperately to be independent, but when she can't even reach the sink without a step ladder, she internally acknowledges her shortcomings, but will not ask for help.
However, with her shortcomings she is still a selfless person, she would love to help others, but for the most part she finds herself the damsel in distress. Akimi does retain some childish traits, like even when heated in rage she can be subdued with a bag of candy, chocolate bar, etc. Akimi does however observe everything around her as she does use her life (and certain fantasy) as inspiration for her writing. She uses her writing as a way to pass time and keep focused during uncertain times, taking great pride in her work. She gets worked up rather quickly when one insults her work, but as stated earlier, with some sweets, she can be easily subdued from said rage.

Akimi at first glance could easily be mistaken for a eleven or twelve year old. Due to experiments with various diets, Akimi is left thin to a point where it's barely healthy, but with limited physical activity, she is incredibly weak. Usually she wears a white dress with a dark pink trip underneath a blue hoodie. She has long light purple hair, often with two small pigtails complementing the youthful exterior. It is noteworthy that she wears her D-Tector around her neck on a necklace, as she herself struggles to lift her D-Tector single handedly at times.

Personal History: Akimi had a rough childhood, as she had been in and out of hospitals most of her life. She had a run in with countless diseases, Appendicitis, Tonsillitis, even a few unnamed diseases/illnesses. She spent almost years in the hospital, three surgeries, countless medications including some where she was in a test group, and new/alternative treatment plans at a young age have taken their toll. Akimi's growth had been stunted at the age of twelve, rendering her visibly and physically the same for years to follow as aside from being stuck in the body of a child, her health started to clear up but doctors are fearful she won't live to see her thirties.
One of the few things that kept her sane with all the in and out visits was writing. She began writing poetry and slowly moved up to stories, and her biggest project was a trilogy of novels based on her experience coupled with her fantasy. However when she tried to get the books published at the age of sixteen, her publisher hired a public face and turned Akimi into the ghost writer so Akimi could leave the public out of her business considering her condition.
She tried to try and live independently after the success of her books, dubbed "Prescription for happiness" with three books, about a girl stuck in a hospital trying to live but with everything stacked against her. The book was in no way the best in the world, but it was well received.
