| AFTERTASTE |
A lumbering form slowly traipsed across the darkened streets of Western Shibuya, making their way towards the Residential District with the odd stumble or two in their steps; oftentimes leaning against some trees or walls to regain their balance before they kept moving resolutely forward.
But if one listened closely, it seemed that the figure was... singing? "Across the sky~ Across the sea~ A little bit of fear can turn into hope~" It was severely off-key, and some of the words were badly spoken, showing that the individual was a little bit drunk at the moment.
Torahiko Isamu barely recognized where he was walking as he sung, a shit-eating grin plastered upon his features as he wobbled his way towards his apartment. The young man couldn't even remember what transpired a few hours ago, all he remembered was stepping inside a Karaoke Bar and had the time of his life with some people he managed to meet and perhaps befriend that night.
It was the wee hours of the early morning, judging by the pastel looking colors that were slowly bringing life to the bleary darkness. The sun would shine fairly soon down upon the residents of Shibuya; heralding a new day for them to make something of their lives and what not.
Then again, it was the weekend; practically Saturday in fact. Who the hell woke up early on a Saturday? If it was him he'd just slept in until it was the afternoon, and that was basically his drunken thought process as he got closer to his residence, a small jingle signifying the keys he held in his hands as he moved them about since he was...
"I began to walk through this world~ What sort of encounters am I searching for~" Oh boy, the young man was dancing now on top of singing, at least there wasn't anyone nearby to watch and judge him for it.
Or so it seemed anyway.
Almost tripping over a pair of trashcans haphazardly left outside of the apartment complex, not noticing the absent of jingles and the metallic weight no longer in his hand as he righted himself up, the young man approached the door of his apartment and found himself in a conundrum.
"Wheeere are my keysh?" The young man pulled a funny face as he patted himself everywhere, but no matter how hard he tried he didn't manage to find his keys. How was he going to get inside his home now?
Getting a wonderful yet dangerous idea, Torahiko ambled his way towards the side of his apartment, spotting the drainpipe almost immediately. 'If I scale this up perhaps I could reach my window and get inside!' He stifled a yawn as he approached the thick metallic cylinder, soon finding himself slowly yet surely scaling it towards the window on the second floor.
If only he knew that he looked like some sort of burglar trying to breech inside the building, he would have thought twice before trying such a thing.
