The parks of Central Shibuya were perhaps not the best in comparison to the ones in the ritzier neighborhoods of Shibuya, but the Doctor found herself often lingering there for a few specific reasons. Namely they were close to Terminus station and secondly because one of the best shaved ice vendors she'd found in the city happened to often setup shop near this particular park. With the heat of early summer gradually creeping in Cassandra found she could no longer ignore the draw of the cold and sweet treat. Leaving her lingering in line behind a few other nervous customers ahead of her as Cloak and Dagger decked out in their holosuits eyed the colorful listing of flavors curiously.
Not that many passerbys could blame the other patrons for hurrying along with their purchases once they'd been made. While Doctor Cross appeared like any other germophobe medical professional in her Doctors coat and gloves, her eyes covered by dark glasses, and lower face obscured by a medical mask the twisting burn scars that picked over the edge of her turtle neck crawling their way up the left side of her neck hinted at additional reasons for her inclination to remained covered from near head to toe. The twins on the other hand appearing as dark haired, gold eyed men dressed in suits not too far off from the fashion common of the higher end Yakuza seemed to radiate unintentional intimidation. Their gazes sharp and watchful and the way they hovered near the small woman distinctly protective in nature even as she selected and paid for their treat. Leaving the little trio to wander towards a slightly shadier and more secluded bench to enjoy their shaved ice.

How Roy the Veemon and Rex the Guilmon had ended up on Earth had been a story mostly of coincidence. The twin brothers had firstly ended up in the massive city of the digital world known as Terminus out of simple gravity - it was the place where things "happened" on the digital world, and thus was the place where they felt they could get the most information that would be useful to their superiors back home on the back of the entity known as El Doradimon.
Next, they had found out that Terminus City was the place that was linked with another world, namely the Trailmon station in its underground. Not just any world - but the world of the humans. Given that the dragon twins were rather curious about learning more about the humans, well, of course they would be drawn to such a place. But, they were of course told that they couldn't just wander onto Earth without prior preparation. They needed disguises, and so were told of "holosuits".
Unfortunately, the individual who sold them their "holosuits" weren't telling the full truth. And thus they weren't sold the special devices that would holographically disguise them as humans, but were given simple human outfits where they were told that humans would think them as their own. These outfits were nowhere near as sophisticated as that, they were essentially just hoodies and trousers. And even then, since neither the Veemon or Guilmon were capable of wearing the trousers, what with the long claws on their feet as well as their tails, the vendor of the "holosuits" simply told them that they would be fine as they were. And so, not knowing any better, the two only with one garment each over their red/white and blue/white hides, boarded the Trailmon and made their way to the human world.
It was surprising enough that they made it as far as they did up the elevator to the main hub of Shibuya station, then onto the street. Humans did look at them with rather astonished expressions, but thankfully they weren't stopped yet, making them think their disguises were adequate. That was until a human child looked at them.
"Wow, those cosplay outfits are awesome!" the human boy remarked. "Mom, can I get something like that?!"
"Well... uh... those look rather expensive..." the human woman said, hesitantly. "Excuse me, you two, sorry to bother you, but, where did you get those and how much did they cost?"
"We got them at Terminus City, miss!" Rex said, cheerfully, thinking they were just talking about the hoodies. "And they only cost 500 each!"
"500? Well, that's very reasonable" the woman remarked, thinking they were talking in yen. "And what ward is this 'Terminus City' in?" she asked further, thinking they were talking about a shopping mall of some kind.
"Uhh... well, we got here from Shibuya Station" Roy answered. And so, thinking that was the answer, the human mother and child went straight there, thinking they would find an excellent dragon outfit for 500 yen. Supposing they had this nailed, the two made their way through Central Shibuya blissfully unaware of the fact that they weren't very well disguised at all.

"Uh Cas..." Dagger murmured glancing up from is strawberry flavored shaved ice to pause and point with his spoon at the two clearly Digimon making their way down the street past the park. Lifting her head with a thoughtful hum as she took a bite of her own treat the Doctor nearly choked at the sight. Doubling over coughing as Cloak lightly patted her back while the woman wheezed.
"W-hat the hell!?" She managed to squeak out as she leaped to her feet pulling her mask up once more as she started forward to stop the pair. Her twins were quick to follow in her wake eating their shaved ice as they went and observing the clearly newcomers with amusement.
"Were we ever this clueless?" Dagger whispered to his twin with a tilt of his head as the little group approached.
"Well she did dig us out of a dumpster." Cloak adds quietly even as Cas waves a the two dragon twins as she approaches unsure if she should hug them to death for how adorable they look or strangle them for risking breaking the peace.
"Wow those really are great cosplays! Why don't I treat you two to lunch? I'm Doctor Cross by the way and these are my associates Cloak and Dagger." The Doctor spoke introducing herself even as she subtly slid up hre sleeve to show the Digivice clasped in the cradle around her wrist before covering it once more. Of course she likely didn't need to show either the Veemon or the Guilmon since for all the two men lingering behind her looked human any Digimon worth their salt would be able to smell them for what they really were.

Roy and Rex were once again greeted by a human woman and what appeared to be two human men, but a couple of sniffs by the twins told them that they were in fact digimon. This seemed a little different from the humans before. In fact Roy took a step back from how shocked and nervous he was about this situation, but then he saw the woman subtly show him a digivice. That meant that she was a human that was bonded to digimon partners. And, by the scent, these two seemed to be twins like them. With that knowledge, he relaxed.
Rex meanwhile took his brother's moment of ease to treat these three in a friendly manner, even if two of them were disguised digimon.
"Hiya Doctor! I'm Rex and this is my brother Roy" he said, then gave a quick bow as he remembered that was the custom in this city. "Oh really? Some lunch would be wonderful... right Roy?" he gave a hesitant look to his brother. Roy had always told him to be careful when accepting favors and gifts from strangers.
"Yeah... if it's no trouble" Roy added, supposing that this human had already seen through their disguises. Why though? Had her partners been able to detect them as well as they had detected hers? But, that word, "Doctor". Roy recognized that as a title for a highly regarded person in the human world that they could trust, at least according to his preliminary research about human society. And so he'd give it a shot. "Thanks. Where abouts were you thinking we can go? I should say that Rex eats a lot so probably quantity over quality would be best" he chuckled nervously, scratching at the hood that hid his ears.
