Adjusting her grip on Dagger who still remained slumped in exhaustion against Cas's shoulder the Doctor gave the Witchmon a wave. Selecting her own reward she was quick to escort herself and the Orochimon over to Wicked though if the dark frown that marred the woman's features was anything to go on the assessment she was about to give was not good. "Target was a fully converted D-reaper Agent. I triage'd Orochimon, but his infection rate is closer to the line then I'd like for comfort. Both Cloak, Dagger, and K sustained damage from the D-reaper Agent with Cloak being shot clean through the shoulder blade with a beam, Dagger taking a slash from her claws to the chest, and K being stabbed and bitten. Dagger's wounds were the only one I saw glowing red, but I did not get a chance to inspect K's wounds before she de-evolved so I suspect likely low to medium grade infection there. Target likewise was able to steal the cores of digital forms and stole two from K and one from Cloak the side-effects of her having them and them being returned are thus unknown. Cloak overloaded and nearly self-destructed bringing the D-reaper Agent down and is currently a Choromon and unconscious in my pocket. Neither Carlos, Dio, or myself sustained damage." Cassandra explained pointing out the individuals as she named them or described their issues listing off the immediate need to know. "If you can teach me how to treat D-virus infection I can help you treat them. Right now the best I've been able to do is slow the infection rate down." The Doctor explained her face grim and strained with the stress of the battle. "Don't worry. The other guy looked a lot worse when we got done with em..." Dagger mumbled in an exhausted slurr. K rubbed her muzzle and let out a small but somewhat exhausted sounding sigh; she could feel her body twitching here and there along with the constant numbing effect she seemed to be under at this low energy threshold. It was making it hard to think really; actually pretty close to impossible at this point. When Dio answered her; telling them that they were alive she'd blink a few times and look down at her hands.
"....A...Alive? So I didn't die again..."
The renamon blinked a little bit and frowned slightly however when the other told her to rest and that stew could wait. With an irritable huff she'd try to shift a little bit, though she wasn't really watching where her hands went. If dio wasn't careful one of them would end up across his face.
The appearance of the witchmon only made the renamon blink a few times. She had never seen one before and she felt herself exhale slowly as the Doctor explained out what had happened; who had become damaged and ultimately asking about how to treat the D-virus infection. She tried to follow what was being said properly however and she was struggling she wanted to ask what was going on but she felt a wave of what could only be described as nausea wash over her.
"Red bits, blue bits, surprised there wasn't green bits... Maybe some red bits for stew... Mother would probably be able to work that in somewhere."

When offered something other than a monetary reward for their efforts, the duo’s attention was immediately captivated by the weird amulets offered by the giant tree. Those amulets, an unnatural energy emanated from within them. It wasn’t just a shiny necklace, there was more to them. Without a second thought Dio reached forth, lifting one between his long middle and index claw. He examined it closely for a moment, clearly noticing an odd shifting of data within the stone. Yes, these were clearly powerful on their own right. It wasn’t exactly “D-Reaper infused data” level of powerful…but it was a start.
Without a word, he handed it to Carlos, who in turn also took a closer look before shrugging and storing it on his pocket. It wasn’t money, but he didn’t complain, because hey, if Dio wanted it so bad he wasn’t going to say no to him, he had earned it after the insanity from earlier. It’s not like odd magical amulets had ever brought misery and misfortune to those wearing it, right? With that done the duo simply followed after the doctor.
Amusingly, the demon would let out a surprised grunt when K began shifting around and her hand ended up on his face, the tall NeoDevimon even taking a step backwards as if in shock. Had Carlos not known better he could have sworn Dio was blushing underneath that mask, and his partner was still being the somewhat meek little imp that wasn’t used to any sort of contact that didn’t involve fighting. Especially if it involved K. However the NeoDevimon was quick to calm himself and, with a disgruntled sigh, carefully used one of his large claws to grab the fox’s body, lifting her from his shoulder and bringing her to the front, cradling the mildly delirious K between his arms in a (as Carlos would put it) bridal carrying position.
“Stay. Still.” Dio ordered with a glare, his voice barely louder than a growl. “And stop talking about stew. I’m hungry.” With that, he turned and faced the group, or rather, the new arrival in the form of a Witchmon. Carlos simply waved silently when he was pointed out by Cas, letting the doctor give the digimon the whole rundown of the mission.
So apparently she knew how to stop the D-Reaper infection? If that somehow didn’t involve delicate medical procedures Carlos would be more than happy to help them out. Lord knew he had been little more than useless on the past battle, and he was eager to find a way to make that up to the group.

Well, Cassandra was concise as ever, wasn't she? Easily recognizing the face of her prior D-Reaper patient, the Witchmon carefully listened to her words, leaning over her broom as she got the long-and-short of it.
An infected Orochimon and a partially infected Zubamon.
A Choromon who far extended his limits.
A Zubamon who likely had a stint with the D-Reaper.
And a Renamon who was completely out of it.
Hearing the diagnosis, and Cassandra's plea, the Witchmon gave a sigh. Before she did anything else, the sorceress glided on by, easily approaching the Orochimon. "Oh, poor Looker... cat was a bit too spicy for you?" She extended a hand out, stroking the serpent's cheek - and surprisingly enough, the serpent quite easily returned the gesture. As for Cassandra's question?
"Look, I don't mind an assistant. If you can do acupuncture, then all aboard." Her attention quickly turned to that delirious Renamon, though, the sorceress heaving heard that scolding conversation in the background. "Your mama can bring around the stew later. For now, miss holy-fox needs to get some shut-eye." Even as she chided her, though, the Witchmon examined her data - followed by NeoDevimon, and Carlos, each with a piercing glare.
"You two are free to go, if you want." He nodded to the demon and his respective tamer. "Renamon here's under five percent - we can attempt a purge and see if her immune system can flush the rest out. Zubamon..." She knelt down, peering over the metal monster. "Same deal. For some D-Reaper Monster Cat, the Meicoomon didn't seem too concerned about infecting you all, at least."
With that out of the way, Witchmon gave a nod to the doctor. "Well, may as well get started. I got my tent set up on the west end."

This was a serious situation and logically Cassandra knew it was likely inappropriate to find the Orochimon's name and reaction to Wicked so freaking adorable, but the Doctor really couldn't help it as she did her best to resist letting out a soft 'd'aww' at the sight. Instead she forced herself to focus on Wicked's words and nodded at the mention of acupuncture. She was familiar with the art and hopefully with the Witchmon's help she could be brought up to speed fairly easily.
The idea of doing such on a very out-of-it K though seemed like just as bad an idea to Doctor Cross as it did to Wicked as Cas was quick to nod in agreement. "Sure we're right behind you." She murmured resting a comforting hand on Dagger's back as she carried the rookie towards the tent after the other Digimon.
"Do we have any idea what the side-effects of that thing having the cores of the digivolutions might be or are we just guessing there?" Cas asked glancing behind her to ensure Looker, Carlos, and Dio were following with K in tow. Seeing as the delirious Renamon seemed far more apt to follow their instructions then hers.

Dio's reaction to K more or less accidentally touching his face was something that under normal circumstances probably wouldn't of happened. Him taking a step back only made the renamon shift her hand a bit so that it was no longer on his face. Though the moment he shifted how he was holding her she looked rather confused unsure of why exactly she would be carried like this. She looked around blinking and squirming awkwardly up until she was told to stay still. She'd huff and mumble a bit.
"Well I bet everyone is hungry! It's right around dinner time isn't it?"
Her ears flicked and twitched as she could hear someone that she didn't know speak again. Turning her head she'd stare blankly at the Witchmon. She'd furrow her brow just a little bit as they seemed to agree with the idea about stew later. But then went on saying that she should get some shut eye?
She was hesitant to listen to someone that she just met, especially in her condition. She'd try to sit up in Dio's grasp but only found that her body wasn't really responding to her demands. That and... it felt good to just lay still. So in that regard she just let herself lay back, staring up at the sky. The doctor seemed to trust them, Dio and carlos seemed to trust them. So Maybe she should go out on a limb and follow suit? Maybe? But then again...
"...I don't think I could sleep if I could.. I'm.. I'm tired but not like.. that. Besides if I don't help in the kitchen, I won't get my helping!"

As adorable as he found the small tender moment between the witch and the snake (so much so he wasn’t able to keep himself from muttering a small “d’aww”) Carlos was quickly snapped back to reality by Wicked pretty much saying they were free to go. Truth be told it would have been easy for them to simply turn tail and leave. They could use the rest after all. But despite the offer, Carlos didn’t feel right just leaving K behind, not after what had happened today.
“We’d rather stay, if you don’t mind, at least until we’re sure she’ll be fine. ‘Sides maybe that way we can learn a thing or two on how to combat this…thing.”
Of course, his partner was not particularily fond of this decision made without consulting him, seeing how he'd much rather get away from the fox and any Meicoomon related business for a good while, at the very least. Yet other than a glare shot in the man’s direction, Dio remained quiet, whatever foul insult possibly directed at his tamer remained unspoken. Partly because he knew it was pointless to argue now…partly because K’s continued mentions of food and hunger were frankly distracting.
Dio rolled his eyes (all six of them) whilst sighing in defeat. There was no way around it, he’d have to deal with the delirious fox for longer, and possibly have to confront her about some past issues…but that would have to wait until later, now they had to worry about getting to Wicked’s tent.
Which was easy enough, if only he had been able to ignore his teacher’s ramblings on the way there. K’s demeanor would have almost been funny had it been at any other time, but after all they had gone through the NeoDevimon was starting to find it a bit grating. Well, at the very least she was keeping still now.
“Must I knock you out for you to sleep?” The demon asked with a glare. His robotic tone didn’t make clear if he was being serious or sarcastic, but the annoyance in his voice was impossible to ignore regardless.

"Mm? If you two want to stay around, fine," Wicked gave a shrug towards Carlos, "but try and keep your hands out of things. You'll be more in a 'do as you're told' role." Honestly, it was a bit of a case of 'too many cooks in the kitchen', but it seemed the tamer there was a little hesitant to leave the rest of the group behind - even as that delirious Renamon started to get on Dio's nerves.
Soon enough, the group - led by Wicked and Looker - would make their way off to the far tent. Hearing Cassandra's question, the Witchmon gave a nod. "If they were experiencing ill effects from that, they would already be showing symptoms. Zubamon's fine, and Renamon's experiencing a bit of what we call an 'acclimation headache', but there's nothing to be done on that front. That'll all sort itself out well enough."
It didn't take them long to reach the tent. Giving one careful pat at Orochimon's head, the Witchmon led the rest of the group inside - and Cassandra, or at least Zubamon, would find the set-up familiar: a single table was set up, meant for treating patients, with an apothecary's bench in the back. Fortunately, the Witchmon had prepared ahead of time, that familiar blue substance held in several blue vials.
"This," Wicked remarked, "is a compound of Rotroot and Devil's Snapdragon. Combined, we create a substance that is 'corrupt, but stable' - meaning, despite its volatility, the D-Reaper will not naturally form around the substance. But that doesn't mean the D-Reaper won't try and correct the corruption if presented after the fact."
And thus, the method was clear: "Its a matter of careful acupuncture, spreading this paste over the wounded area, letting it set - and 'pulling up' the D-Reaper that's attracted to the substance. Obviously, with reptiles and metal types, the application's a little more complicated than I'd be able to teach you over a short period. So you'll handle K while I handle the others."
That, of course, meant that the Witchmon had to sedate this 'holy fox' - taking a small towel and a phial of clear liquid, blotching the cloth with a fair amount of the substance, she'd step up, and carefully press it to K's muzzle. "One deep breath. Just think of mom's delicious stew..."
One deep breath, after all, would be all that was needed to send the fox to a brief, but deep, slumber.

"Fascinating so it attracts the D-virus allowing you to filter it out through the acupuncture injuries. Not unlike how Mikemon filters out the corrupt data with his threads by irradiating it with data." Cassandra murmured eyeing the concoction with distinct fascination even as she very gently set Dagger down on one of the beds giving the Zubamon's clawed hand a light comforting squeeze.
"I'll be right over here working. It'll be ok." She reassured him as he glanced up at her nervously and tried to put on a brave face.
"I'll be fine Cas. You take care of K. I can handle myself." Dagger quips though as she leans down to press a light comforting kiss to the top of his muzzle that doesn't stop the Zubamon fro melting at the contact his eyes straying between her and Wicked as Cas turned to tend to her own patient.
"I'll handle K." Cas confirms making sure she has a bucket and wipes on hand before she even begins. Tugging on her latex gloves she double checks her needles and eyes the Renamon's sleeping form taking careful stock of where the acupuncture points should relatively be before she begins inserting the needles. Only pulling them have after a moment as she slathers the paste on over the wounds and counts to one hundred before she wipes the paste off. The substance coming away red rather then blue before she disposes the wipes in the trash and begins again. If she's lucky K will remain unconscious throughout all of this.

K flicked her ear a little bit when carlos referred to her; she looked pretty confused as to why he thought that he needed to stay to see if she was okay. She was certainly okay; she was living, there was going to be supper soon and she was going to help in the kitchen....
She'd blink a few times however when dio asked her if he needed to knock her out for her to sleep. Her confusion deepened and she looked like she was going to say something up until Wicked started to talk. Her confusion escalated as she tried to follow the conversation but it was just gibberish in her current state of mind.
K would rub her head and make a 'blah' sound as she could feel her body hike in pain. Something wasn't right here; something was off and she was having trouble even speaking at this point. Just how much energy did she get drained of during that fight?
Her eyes dilated a bit and she stared at the witchmon as they approached her, placing something to her muzzle as she was about to try to ask what it was. Then the witchmon said something simple, stupidly so that even the fox in her state was able to understand. Not sure why she needed to take a deep breath and think of something so close...
Her deep breath and the sudden dizziness that followed suit from the 'substance' only lead to her going limp a few moments later as unconsciousness claimed her entirely. The substance barely needed any help as the renamon was already on that door as she had already came off of it a little bit ago.
The renamon didn't wake as Cas started the treatment; her body quivered and shifted as she was of course still dealing with the remnants of the fight and the little bit of infection that she had. As it was; nothing major it likely wouldn't be nearly as painful if she had a deeper tier infection. So she remained blissfully unaware of the treatment in it's entirely....

While Wicked didn't seem particularily interested in the idea of letting the two of them trying to their hands on this whole medicine business (with good reason admitedly), she was fine with letting the duo simply hang around. Carlos nodded, content with that answer. Meanwhile Dio carefully dropped his former teacher over the table. Once that was taken care off, the demon backed away, giving Cas enough room to work and stood next to Carlos.
Upon seeing the witch doctor approaching the renamon with a cloth of what he could only assume was a chloroform type substance Carlos sat on the floor, cross legged. This was probably going to take a bit.
Luckily though it seemed the sedative worked as expected, the white fox falling into a deep sleep without issue. With a relieved sigh Dio plopped on the ground and sat down. Even if he hadn't taken any damage on the last struggle, he was still getting used to maintaining his Ultimate form. With a dull glow of light his form shrunk considerably, his tall and lanky body going back to a far smaller form. With another, rather disgruntled sigh the Impmon laid back, his head resting on his tamer's legs, a somewhat annoyed expression on his face. He would have much rather gone back to his Devidramon form and taken off from that place, leaving this whole experience behind, but unfortunately Carlos had already made it clear he wanted to stay to check on K. Dio much preffered not having to deal with having an argument with the human over something like this, so he simply kept quiet.
His draconic form was probably to big to fit on the tent comfortably, anyways.
Both man and digimon silently looked on as the treatment was performed, Carlos not wanting to distract either of them from such a delicate procedure, Dio not wanting to talk at all. Yet, when Cas began using the acupunture needles on K the small imp couldn't help but feel a tight knot in his stomach, even wincing a bit at the sight of said needles puncturing the fox's furry skin. Despite the gentle pats he received from Carlos, who was clearly worried by his partner's sudden reaction, Dio could only look away. Not out of disgust or being squeamish, mind you.
Frankly, he...wasn't sure what he was feeling witnessing this scene unfold. It was almost as if seeing K in such a sorry state, possibly fighting for her life was affecting Dio. As much as he hated to admit it, he wasn't exactly fond of seeing her in pain...even after the incident. "Damnit" He thought to himself, clenching his fists in frustration at himself. He had gotten too soft if those that had wronged him could elicit such an emotional response from him.
Utterly pathetic...

Fortunately for Cassandra, the sedative that Witchmon implemented would be enough to allow the Renamon to sleep through the process - though even if K still had a numb awareness of what was going on, she'd feel little more than the several pricks along her back and a sense of cold, followed by a sense of heat across her back as the red color was pulled to the surface.
"And while you're handling that... Dagger, this way." Wicked gave a nod to the metal Digimon, and would lead the Rookie outside. Fortunately for the weapon type - and even more-so for the Orochimon - Witchmon already knew that she might need to treat cold-blooded types. While she couldn't exactly poke holes through Dagger's skin, the natural way that the 'skin' behaved made it much easier to treat. Hence, it hadn't taken long for the Witchmon to prepare a small brewing vat, filled to the brim with lukewarm water, tinged blue by a salt-based compound - very much similar to the medicine being used on the fox.
"Well, hop on in. I'll fix your blades up afterwards." By instinct, it was possible that Dagger simply would find it uncomfortable to slip into such a vat - saltwater didn't sit well with his 'type'. Similarly, 'Looker' almost recoiled at something that looked very much the same, just on a much larger scale: "Oh, don't worry, Looker! Just ten minutes, and I'll come back around and get all that stuff off you..."
Right - easier to treat by method, but probably harder on the two of them. But with everyone likely settled in, the Witchmon would try to step inside - almost tripping by the Impmon at the door.
"... Hm." Well, didn't he look out of it? Downtrodden and self-loathing? The Witchmon gave a sigh, seeing the imp both stare and try desperately to look away from the fox. Was he worried that she was being hurt, or was it something deeper? The sorceress assumed it was the latter, and gave a simple quip:
"We can't all be Knights, hun. Something I figured out a bit earlier on in life. Instead of hangin' around like that, maybe you should be thinking about what you can do."
Maybe that would help?

Cas would continue her careful work sticking K with the needles, slathering the substance over it, before letting it sit for a brief moment before she wiped it off going through more then a few towels before the red tinge became pink and then a faded watery color as the Doctor looked to purge as much as possible from the Renamon's system. It would be so much easier if they could just filter the D-virus out of her data directly. Like a....like a dialysis machine.
Cas paused nearly dropping the needle as the idea hit her her eyes widening before a slow grin spread it's way over her face. Yes that was it. if they could use this substance and modify a dialysis machine or build one to work in the digital world they could filter data and blood more directly perhaps even completely removing a normal D-virus infection. It was of course a running theory at the moment, but one that held potential.
Meanwhile Dagger stared figurative holes at the vat of saltwater. The whole setup reminding him a little too much of a seafood bake or those giant pots Cas made gumbo in sometimes, but he'd been conditioned early on to not fight those trying to help him when it came to medics. "Y-yes Ma'am." He grumbled out eventually clamoring over the edge and slipping one clawed foot in then the next until he'd sunk up to his neck a disgruntled look clear on his face as he shifted uncomfortable.
"I hope this works fast." The little Zubamon muttered trying to keep the whining edge out of his voice, but only partially succeeding.

K was in a state of what amounted to bliss, her body was reacting nicely to the substance. As D-reaper virus was getting pulled out of her left and right. Though here and there her body twitched in reaction to the needles. The renamon's breathing hitched here or there; but over all she seemed to be fine. The amount of that substance that Wicked used to knock her out was easily enough to keep her out for a while.
But keep prodding and poking at her, eventually she'd awaken. But it'd be likely that she wasn't in any sort of way to resist or do much other than sort of lay there with a glazed look on her face. Considering that she was barely able to stand and was getting this treatment with likely someone that could restrain her in her current state sitting close by? It wouldn't be a problem even if she could try to cause trouble in her rookie state considering everyone that was here. The renamon however did end up mumbling something in her stupor, though it was unlikely directed at anyone here...
"Tch... p-pathetic..."

Both man and digimon sat on the cold dirt, silently watching as the two doctors began their work on the affected digimons, Carlos somewhat fascinated by the display of prowess for treating such a disease (if it could even be called that), while Dio continued his conflicted observation. It wouldn't last long however, as he'd suddenly hear a voice adressing him directly.
The witch's words were enough to get Dio out of his thoughts, the small imp looking up at Wicked before slightly nodding once. Right, being down in the dust feeling sorry for himself wasn't going to do anyone favors, and he knew it. He got up from the ground, dusting himself of as he did.
Now the question here was how he was going to help? He had no medical knowledge, or D-Reaper related knowledge for that matter, and he wasn't going to be asking for a class on a moment like this. So really, he had two options: firstly one that could be either simple or not, depending on a lot of factors, and that was to ask either Wicked or Cas what did they need him to do, if anything.
But instead of that, he opted for a more direct approach. Quite literally, as he followed after Wicked standing behind her just an arms reach away. Inmediatelly after he would start to focus some energy on his left hand, the gloved limb glowing a light color as the temperature around him seemed to slowly drop, as if someone had turned on an air conditioner machine next to him. A moment later, he'd be standing close to the witchmon, left hand raised with his palm open, offering the digital doctor some of the ice that had recently formed on the imp's hand.
If the D-Reaper hated the cold so much, maybe some ice could help them out?
"Hey uhm...is this of any help for you right now or..:" He'd ask somewhat unsure, looking to the side almost as if embarrased at himself for wanting to help out.
Yep, he had become a softie, alright...
