"Hmmm... maybe I can contact an acquaintance of mine, Doctor Cross..." Adrian mumbles, rubbing his chin. "I guess I could try and contact Dante as well, though I really don't want to talk to him... who else would know about an issue like this?"
"We could try asking Owen," Shoutmon suggested. "Or even see if Nik and Brad know anything about this."
"Nah, I don't really want to bother them too much..." Adrian replied, before the footsteps could now be heard. "Oh no..."
That's when the Monodromon came back out to play. Shoutmon was sure that the group had lost it earlier, but now it was back and ready for more! "Shoutmon, you need to Digivolve!"
"I can't," Shoutmon worriedly tells his partner, "I'm out of energy from last time, and I'm starving! I need food before I can even think about digivolving again!"
"Damn it... we have to run!"

The Monochromon roared once again, as it attempted to push its way through the trees and undergrowth that blocked it from attacking them. It seemed even more furious than before somehow. Was it because they had run from it, or has something else angered it.
It seemed that Shoutmon was unable to digivolve again. So it could face the dinosaur, like last time. Adrian cried that they should run and this seemed like the best idea. Adri jumped up, scooping Kouta into her arms and then followed Adrian.
They ran full pelt in the opposite direction. The Monochromon continued to roar and smash its rockhard head against the trunks of the trees. “Phew, someone doesn’t know how to give up,” Kouta said, shaking slightly in Adri’s clutching arms.
“How long until you can digivolve again?” Adri screamed over the roars of the Monochromon which still emanated through the woods. She hoped it’d be soon, otherwise, they’d be in real danger.
A great splintering sound broke through the questions as the trees behind them fell to the ground and the Monochromon stomped forward. It had finally broken through the line of trees. It bared down on them with wide bloodshot eyes. “We are so in trouble, now,” Kouta said, covering his eyes with the bat-like ears.

The chase was on - it was Adrian, Shoutmon, Adri and Kouta running for their lives from a very pissed off Monochromon. Shoutmon was too tired and hungry to Digivolve again so soon after the earlier fight. Speaking of which, Adri asked in fear when Shoutmon would be able to Digivolve again.
"My stomach isn't exactly full right now," Shoutmon responds. "I'm sure I can Digivolve as soon as I eat something!"
"Just have this," Adrian says, taking out a PB&J sandwich from his backpack that he was saving for later, however this definitely seemed like an emergency. He tossed it to Shoutmon, who ate the whole thing in one bite.
As the group ran, they approached a preeeetty steep cliff, forcing them to stop. Even worse, the Monochromon caught up with them!
"I have an idea..." Shoutmon says. "Everybody JUMP!" He then pushed Adrian and Adri off the cliff, unless they willingly jumped themselves, and then jumped down with them.
"Shoutmon, warp Digivolve to... OmniShoutmon!"
OmniShoutmon would then grab the falling humans, flying back up towards the cliff, though at a safe distance from Monochromon.

“Don’t worry, Kouta. It’ll be okay,” Adri said, although she was holding onto him, awfully tight. The Monochromon snorted with anger, slamming a great hoof-like claw against the ground below as if it was preparing to charge.
Kouta let out a weak whimper, a single yellow eye peeking out from behind the ears. At their side stood, Adrian and Shoutmon. He was saying he needed food in order to ‘digivolve’. Thankfully, Adrian pulled a sandwich from the depths of a backpack just in time. Shoutmon ate the sandwich in a single but and seemed suddenly to be fully charged.
Although, there was much more to that plan that Adriana didn’t know. The Monochromon let out a fierce roar and began to charge. At that moment, Shoutmon pushed both, Adrian and Adri off the cliff. Shoutmon began to transform again, however, this time. His body was fully armored and golden. The gilded armor shimmered in the sunlight.
Adri, however, let out a loud scream and closed her eyes. Mid-fall, the new Shoutmon caught them just in the knick of time. “Wow, that was close,” she said, sighing. “I think I’m going to lose my lunch...” Kouta said, his face turning green.

"Is everyone okay?" OmniShoutmon asked the group as he carried them.
"Yeah, we're fine, Omni," Adrian confirms to the Ultimate, giving a thumbs up.
"Alright, we better start landing then... I don't know how much longer I can stay in this form." OmnIShoutmon then lowered down into the forest underneath the cliff. As soon as he reached the ground, he safely put down Adrian, Adri and Kouta, before reverting back to his rookie form.
"You feeling okay, Shoutmon?" Adrian asked his partner, who was currently gasping.
"Yeah, I'm fine... just tired..." Shoutmon replied. Immediately afterwards, his stomach growled loud enough for everyone to hear, causing Shoutmon to blush. "...and I'm even more hungry than before..."
Adrian laughed a bit. "I'm sorry, but I don't have any more food with me."
"Maybe there's food in this forest somewhere? I gotta eat SOMETHING soon. That sandwich was only enough for me to Digivolve like that."
