Though already a pale boy, Leith's face truly drained of all color as Blake explained the situation to him. It sounded like a ban from the mall could be the least of their problems; Viximon and Demiveemon had both been in plain sight of the cameras in that shop! "That... Blake, you're nuts," Leith initially rebelled. But, then again, it wouldn't be the strangest adventure he'd gotten on since meeting his digimon partner. In fact, it was probably about the sanest and easiest, at least in theory. "...but you also have a point."
"Time for a scrap, then?" Demiveemon eagerly asked behind his screen.
Leith shook his head. "Not your kind, anyway. I know the way you like to do things, and that's not how to handle this." Leith then covered his hand with his mouth, his habitual thinking pose. "Alright, sounds like a simple job. First, find a map, follow it to the security center. Second, the tricky part: getting whoever is in there out. Third, while one of us is the lure, the other erases the footage and gets out quietly. Finally, the lure has to slip the guards he's been leading - and all that without committing crimes beyond evidence tampering, ideally. They can let a trespasser go without a care, but more serious than that and we'll be talking about a real investigation, cameras or no cameras." Leith almost stopped talking then, but his eyes darted to the bag Viximon was in. "I think Viximon should be our lure. He looks enough like a real animal that we can pretend he is one and get security all over him. The solvable would then become how he escapes and meets back up with us, or at the very least you."
Demiveemon had a strong objection to this plan. "Hey! You wanna use someone else's digimon partner instead of me?"
But Leith knew how to appeal to him by now. "No, Vee. I need you by my side in case I didn't anticipate everything."
