Oh boy. Was she really accepting her request? Was. She. Really. Accepting. Her. Request? Maybe it was the sheer fangirlness, or maybe was how happy Ooi felt at the moment, but she just couldn't help it. She closed that separated her from the taller girl and hugged her, at least for a split second, before realizing how awkward the situation was, then blushing a bit heavily.
"Thankyouthankyouthankyou! Really! It'd make me super happy if you did it!" Maybe it had been the happiest day of her life? It kinda sounded like it, in all honesty! But, that was something they'd do later. For now, their immediate concerns were... where they were heading.
Amelie was a bit surprised by the question that followed. For a second, she seemed a bit... confused at it, but then began to piece the information together. Well, so much for a normal friendship! "Anywhere special, huh..." Her voice trailed off softly, almost as if letting her know that she did. "Maybe I do, but I think... Ooi doesn't, if you catch my drift. Will it really be okay for her to go there?"
Now, somebody was definitely lost in the conversation. The raven-haired teenager could be a lot of things, but she definitely didn't like not understanding what was going on. "Hey~, do you have a secret to talk without me realizing or something? I don't know what are you saying, but ghosts and the like are definitely real! Mom always said that if I was a bad girl, the things that go bump in the night would come and kidnap me from my bedroom, and I think I definitely saw something shady lurking under my bed once. It's real!"
Yeah, not very believable if you didn't take into account that Ooi seemed to be dead serious while saying that kind of things, which prompted Amelie to gaze at Tsukiko. "But... if you want to bring her, I guess she'd take it as her idol taking her biggest fan to a special place. I'm sure she's gushing right now."
Yup, she was! Dreamy eyes, almost as if she were a puppy pleading for her favorite food was the expression currently on the shorter girl's eyes. And it was directed straight at Tsukiko. She wasn't saying a word, but she didn't need to. What she wanted to do couldn't be more obvious.

Suddenly, hugs. Caught off-guard, Tsukiko blushes and wiggles her arms, before returning the hug even after Ooi lets go. "You're very welcome. So... uh... so... look forward to creating a visual memory, frozen in time..."
Tsukiko hopes her hints and questions are understood by one of the two other girls. At first, she thinks that her attempts had failed. Then Amelie catches on and mentions the special place. "To be honest," Tsukiko admits, "I don't know anything about that special place other than its existence, if that's where the train is supposed to take me." It is. The dark-haired idol shivers as if a ghost passed through her. "Well... I feel I just got my answer. But uh..."
Tsukiko approaches Amelie. Leaning in, she whispers in her ear, "...how are we going to explain the special place to your girlfriend?"
Talks of ghosts and spirits and 'things that go bump in the night' was starting to get a bit weird, but Tsukiko was not one to judge. "Something shady? What did it look like? A shadow? An orb? Something with tentacles?"

The response had been way more than what Ooi had expected; to say that she was feeling happy at the moment was the understatement of the century, probably!
However, that topic would soon be rendered as a secondary worry at best. A journey to the Digital World, huh? Amelie knew if that there was a voice leading somebody, anybody towards a place, it was probably towards the Digital World. Guess that there was one thing to ask, at least in regards to her. "Well, if you need any other answer, I think you got to ask this to yourself; 'do you really want to go?'. That's probably all the confirmation you need to do anything. I can probably explain the basics along the way."
She couldn't help but blush at Tsukiko's careless whisper. Had the situation devolved so much in that little time? Oh well. "I already said she's not my girlfriend!" Okay, that probably was way louder than what she had expected her to be. In any case... "I think that it'll be fine. Besides, if the whole thing gets out, for better or worse... probably no one will believe her." Considering how quirky Ooi was, it wasn't all that unlikely!
While those whispers were being exchanged, a completely oblivious raven-haired teen tried to recount how the monster that had lurked under her bed looked. "Well, it looked like a giant jellyfish, except not really? I can't quite explain it, but there was this flabby substance that was colored pink... or maybe violet? I'm not sure."
Not the most precise description, but there wasn't much to be done about it!

Tsukiko was happy to have such a great fan. Ooi was happy to get such great treatment from Tsukiko. And Amelie... perhaps was happy to not be the focus of Ooi any more? Things were going good all around.
Until Digimon StuffTM got involved. The 'special place' Tsukiko was thinking of and the 'special place' Amelie was thinking of seems to be the same one. So Amelie is in the know too then. "Well... I feel that going is the right thing for me to do, guidance or no guidance. If you could explain the bare bones of the place, I would appreciate it."
Tsukiko's whisper had the effect that she wanted it to. She grins mischievously. "Not you girlfriend," she whispers back. "Congratulations, when did you two get engaged~?" However, more importantly, Amelie gives the go-ahead for them to all take the trip. "You're right. She would be unlikely to expose anything about this kind of stuff."
"Jellyfish eh? Did it do anything? Was it cute? Or was it scary?" Playing along seems like a good idea to Tsukiko.

Now, that was a concise answer! Now that the course of action was decided, Amelie could freely wander towards one of the many elevators the station had. "Very well, then. Shall we? I'm not an expert, but I'll do my best to explain most of the stuff as we're boarding the train, so don't worry."
Of course, that confident demeanor was shattered the instant Tsukiko had even suggested the fact that they were on one of the most advanced states in a relationship; 'engagement'. The brunette was usually somebody who could keep her cool, but that comment just flustered her to pretty much her limit. Her face was beet red as she tried to conjure a response; a vague sound that reminisced 'we're just friends' even though heavily distorted by the sheer embarrassment Amy currently was experimenting.
Luckily, she managed briefly flash her D-Tector in front of the elevator's scanner, opening a door that would lead to the Terminal's lower levels, and where the Trailmons were located. "That seems like our signal! Let's get in!"
Their descent would be marked with Ooi's response, and Amelie trying to not appear all that embarrassed. "Nope, it didn't do anything, but it was really scary, you know? The worst part was that I knew that it was searching for something but... I didn't really know exactly what! Really weird, isn't it?"
By now, she had no idea if the rest were even listening to her, but that didn't matter.

The time has come to head to the 'special place.' Tsukiko follows the girl who seems to know what she's doing; Amelie appears to understand her meaning while Ooi is probably oblivious. "We shall. I'm sure your explanation will be satisfactory."
Another thing Tsukiko finds 'satisfactory' is Amelie's reaction to her fake assumption that her and Ooi were engaged. "So... you two aren't betrothed," she jokes, her whisper now louder in hopes that Ooi will 'overhear' them. She chuckles softly and winks. She whispers a little more quietly, "guess I don't have to be jealous of the relationship you two have after all."
Tsukiko mimics Amelie, pulling out her D-Tector and pointing it at the door, just in case. "I see I was correct about you. You are also 'guided', aren't you?"
Weird jellyfish monster, searching for something? Could Ooi have had a Digimon encounter and not even known it? Just how common are Digimon, anyway?

The situation at hand must've been golden to behold. How Tsukiko had managed to push Amelie's buttons just enough to make her feel really embarrassed. Especially now since Ooi had caught wind of what was just happening.
Given the height difference between the two teenagers, how the shorter of the duo hugged from behind the other almost seemed like something out from a parent-child relationship, yet still managed to make her feel even more awkward.
"Why would you be jealous of your relationship~?" She asked, her voice tinged the smallest hint of mischief. "I'm sure the three of us can become amazing friends, given enough time! And who knows...! Maybe in this secret trip you two are planning, you'll find your special somebody." As she let go, she took a dreamy expression. "Star-crossed lovers, meeting amid a fantastic trip~. Isn't that romantic?"
Awkwardness aside, at least the brunette was glad that Tsukiko took her seriously when she brought out her digivice, making a comment about her status as a... spirit wielder, maybe? It certainly sounded like that. "I'mmm not sure if the correct word is guided, but yeah. I guess I am. Shall we?"
The elevator's door opened unceremoniously, revealing an ensemble of humans (and probably holosuited digimon) that were probably on their way out their travels. Waiting for the small group to exit first, she got in right afterward, the shorter girl following in short notice.
"I didn't know the train terminal had a hidden elevator. That's pretty neat."
After Tsukiko got in, Amelie proceeded to ask. "So... before we begin. Do you have any questions about the whole thing? That's probably a good place to start."

"I believe that to be the case as well," Tsukiko agrees with Ooi's assertion that they can be close friends. "I like to believe I am a decent judge of character, and you both seem like people I could easily be friends with."
As for the whole 'star-crossed lovers' thing? That gets a decent reaction out of Tsukiko, her face flushing, her eyes trying to avoid contact with Ooi's, and yet a legitimate smile sneaks onto her face. "Your ideas of what is romantic and my ideas of the same... they appear to match. Maybe you're right. Maybe a destined meeting is to take place in an exotic mysterious journey. That would be wonderful, and... oh!" Her blush fades, but her smile doubles in size. "Maybe I could write a song about that! Thank you, Ooi."
For a secret elevator, there sure were a lot of people and a shortage of pomp or circumstance. "So... um... so this is it?" Tsukiko follows the girls in, puzzled. "Not quite what I expected." Changing the subject, she takes Amelie's offer of pre-embarking questions. "First and foremost... why me?"

"Friends it is, then!" Thus far, this day had been really productive! Meeting her idol and actually managing to become friends? That was pretty much Ooi's dream come true. "Even if I don't know the mysterious place where we are going, we'll have a really good time together, I'm sure of it!"
It was an interesting circle, honestly! Or was it a pyramid? Tsukiko teasing Amelie, and Ooi taking turns to tease the two of them. In any case, it was proving to be tons of fun. "I know, right? A true maiden's heart has to be romantic~, otherwise, it'll be no good. Love is always lurking in mysterious places, and who knows. You could be in for a pleasant surprise."
She nodded happily at being an inspiration for a second. "That's amazing; I can't wait to listen to it! You're super welcome."
The time for idle chatter was over, however. At least for now; Amelie took to Tsukiko's expression and seemed to be a little somewhat deep in thought for a brief moment. "Oh, don't worry. We'll get to see the trains real soon. Maybe that'll be a bit more in the amazing department." And after a brief pause, she answers. "If you ask me, there's no reason in particular; just a whim of destiny, at least as far as I know. I'm not so sure, but there isn't a consistent pattern among the people that get chosen. You can find a little bit of everything."
As she finished that sentence, the elevator's doors opened, revealing the underground area of the train terminal; where the Trailmon were, and how people alongside digimons of all shapes and forms were boarding and descending from them. "Well, here we are. Do you wanna go to any area of the Digital World in particular, or maybe board a train at random? Also, if you have more questions, feel free to ask them."
Ooi couldn't but stare dumbfounded at the scene in front of her. This was... amazing!

Two new friends in one day, and while Cho is Tsukiko? It must be her lucky day after all! Then again, both Ooi and Amelie seem... interesting. Amelie had connections to Digimon and Ooi was very unusual. This was far from bad, but it does explain Tsukiko being able to make friends easily. All three of them were different than 'normal' - and that was good.
A maiden's heart has to be romantic. It was another one of Ooi's interesting thoughts. Tsukiko nods twice. "Love must be a stronger force than hate. Keeping a space open for love is necessary to live. I know my appearance looks all about 'darkness' and the like. But not the darkness of hate. The darkness of a moonlit night where lovers can share dreams. At least... that's what I'm going for. I feel you understand me, Ooi. That's why you're my fan, right? Not like some who think 'oh she is mysterious and dark and cute but why aren't her songs more grim and hopeless and black like my heart?' And- eheh... s-sorry... got droning on, didn't I? How embarrassing..."
The elevator ride down was like any other elevator ride. Crowded, awkward, and boring. However, when the doors open, that all changes. "Those trains... are they... also Dig-..." she begins, then remembers Ooi. "Um. So. So um. How do we discuss this?"

It was almost as if Tsukiko and Ooi were kindred spirits by this point. Her thoughts were pretty similar, and that made the raven-haired teenager very happy.
"Yup, I agree! Love is the most powerful force in the world, isn't it? Harnessing it is one of the best feelings, ever, in my opinion!" She made a pause, nodding once before adding. "Yup, that's the impression I got from you; somebody who's trying to convey a hopeful and nice message, and not dark things and stuff. Who wants that, anyway?"
She made a small pause, a small, yet mischievous smile graced her face. Ooi didn't seem to mind Tsukiko's 'droning' at all. "Even though~! I do think you're pretty cute! Not as cute as my bestie over here, but that's probably impossible. Right, Amy-chan~?"
It wasn't hard to guess, but Amelie's face could be mistaken with a tomato right now. She preferred to not react to the comment, instead focusing on her new friend's question.
"Well, given she's probably coming with us, it probably won't matter much. You can keep a secret, right, Ooi?" In what probably was her only somewhat serious gesture since this small gathering, the teenager nodded decisively. "Okay. And yeah, you're right. They're called Trailmons. They're the main transportation method between both worlds. Isn't it interesting? Depending on which you take, you can get pretty much anywhere within the Digital World. Is there any place you would like to go first?"
Obvious as it was, Ooi was resisting the urge to ask about this strange development. Her questions could wait after Tsukiko's got dealt with.

"Everyone should know some form of love," Tsukiko agrees. "It is one of the reasons I became an idol. To share my love of music to make others happy with their love of music, and to make them think about love." Ooi really does get it! "Doom and gloom does have its place though - and that is as part of the journey. Overcoming it makes you stronger, and it makes for a better story. Who wants a story of nothing but happiness? The bitterness makes the final sweetness taste sweeter. I'd love a world without bad, but since it is impossible, we need to make the bad, good."
Then Ooi says something that strikes Tsukiko hard. "C-cute?" Her face was now as red as Amelie's was. Sure there have been others that had found her cute, but none who were as genuine or as good-hearted as Ooi, someone calling her cute without wanting anything in return! "You think I'm cute? I-I mean... um... so... I am trying to be an idol, and idols have to be cute, but I didn't know I was successful! Th-thank you." Despite the awkwardness, this actually was quite the confidence booster. "But yeah, there's no way I'm as cute as Amelie! That's as likely as a matchstick burning brighter than the sun."
Now Tsukiko was in awe. Trailmon... living trains... is that even possible? Well, she turned into a speaker-bird once, so what is possible has definitely shifted. "W-wow... amazing! But... does that mean they eat us? If not, how do they eat, or do they eat? How did such a creature with such a specific purpose come to be? And... I know nothing about our destination, merely that things like this come from it."

Tsukiko's intentions were so pure-hearted, so genuine... they just made Ooi smile. She was undoubtedly an example for the idol community, seeking to bring true joy to the masses instead of monetary gains and those things that moved artists these days. Indeed, the raven-haired teenager had made a right choice on who to follow.
"I think that the journey being hard or difficult makes you appreciate the good things a little bit more." She added. "If everything is easy, you eventually become arrogant or conceited, and that's not something good, I think."
It was a bit of weird logic, but somehow, Amelie found some logic to it. Not like she could say anything about it, though, since not only Ooi had managed to make her feel embarrassed, but Tsukiko was adding to it! Could this be worse? Unlikely.
"You're welcome!" A simple answer to something that had been a lot more complex than a 'thank you', even though the shorter teenager had seen it as that! A wink, and then an impish smile ensued. "Just don't compliment my girlfriend too much or I'll think you're trying to steal her from me, and that won't do! Even if I'm your fan, I'm not letting her go."
A soft giggle was the natural conclusion of that sentence. Amelie, on her stead just looked redder and redder by the second. "Th-this is unfair!" She could barely speak at this point. No use even denying Ooi and her weren't an item. "T-two on one is unfair!"
It wasn't like she could muster a better defense. Thinking was hard when you just wished for Earth to swallow you momentarily. At least for those moments. Given enough time to calm down, she just continued with her explanation.
"Nah, they won't eat us. Even if they're alive, they just work like normal trains. You board them, then descend like normal." As if to prove a point, she pointed to a Trailmon that was currently in the process of being boarded. "They eat like... normal living beings, I guess? They have mouths and stuff. It's just eating and transporting living beings isn't related? I guess it's a bit complicated."
Those were all interesting questions. Amy had to admit she was thinking a fair bit more than normal in order to answer them. "Digimons come in every shape and form, and can have pretty much any function you can imagine. They're weird like that, I guess?"
Given that no choice had been made, she pointed at the Trailmon that led to Terminus; a fitting first choice, she guessed. "Over there. Hope you're up to some city exploring."

"So... the difficult parts of life keep you humble?" That was an interesting way of looking at it, and one Tsukiko couldn't disagree entirely with. "And allow you to see how good the good things are... yes... that is one philosophy I could believe in."
Back to the 'girlfriend' thing again? This was fun. "I would never steal her from you," Tsukiko exclaims with false shock. "How could you think that? You are so cute together! Besides.. I don't think I could steal her from you if I tried. I've seen the way she looks at you~"
Trailmon - just like any Digimon, really - were fascinating creatures. It was hard for Tsukiko to wrap her mind around such things. "But... but where does the food go...? If the passengers aren't in their stomachs, then...?" Amelie was right. It was complicated. It almost seems as if...
"Were they all designed with a specific purpose or goal? But... Agumon and Gabumon didn't seem that way, unless they were designed to... I dunno..."
More importantly, it was time to board. "Okay... I-I'm....I'm ready to enter the giant creature that isn't eating me."

Had Amelie not made herself clear? Two on one was unfair! As if she hadn't enough with Ooi, not Tsukiko had also to barge in and pour salt into the figurative wound! Like, really...
"Y-You know what...!?" She was slightly fed up with the amount of teasing she had withstood by now. "Since you two s-seem to enjoy yourselves so much at my expense, I-I'd be more worried about the two of you becoming an i-item. Doesn't sound so unlikely in my books!"
Even if those had been desperate measures, they had at least managed to have some effect, given that Ooi's cheeks were now tinged on a faint pink hue. "H-Hey! I'm not that type of fan!" She twiddled her thumbs a bit. "Besides... I'm not as cute as either of you. It wouldn't work!"
This just wasn't ending, was it? At least the whole digimon matter had managed to divert the topics a bit.
"Well, that's because they're still growing. Once digimons grow past a certain point, their functions become pretty clear; just give it time. It's almost as if they were slowly... evolving, so to say."
Amelie was the first to board to Trailmon, and to show Tsukiko that the insides were totally harmless. "Hope you're all ready for a small trip!"
Ooi, on her stead, just followed silently, staring with her mouth slightly agape at all the new things her eyes were registering.
