The Strongest Fighter [Mission]

Plot Description"And there it is, folks! With a score of five to one, let's have a big ol' round of applause for Ebemon, our victor today!"
The sound of the crowd echoed harshly above, sinking well into the lower stands of the arena. When Infinity Colosseum's management warned that this place never slept, they were not exaggerating: the quarter-finals of the Iron Cup was honestly the best time that they had to slip these three in. On a nearby monitor, the scientific Digimon could be seen helping up his opponent - a Machinedramon, sparks still flying from a wounded claw - as the crowd's applause and stomping filled both the speakers and the floor of this empty locker room.
For some, it might have been worthwhile entertainment while waiting for the mission organizer to arrive - but to others, it might have been nothing but a distraction. Thankfully, it didn't take long for their 'greeter' to finally arrive: the Etemon that had bothered to pen the note and submit it to the Mission Guild.
"I gotta say, that one wrapped up a bit earlier than I expected... I wonder if anyone's even shown up yet?" Giving a sigh, the Digimon, a puppet Digimon eternally trapped in the 70s, opened up that door, idly rubbing the side of his head. What, was that the sixth match he had to cast today? The seventh? He'd lost count!

It was a simple job for the most part from his understanding. Go to the back of the arena, look around. If you didn't find anything there go underneath the arena and do the same. It was likely going to end with a fight of some kind from the sounds of it so the Spirit user had little option than to bring his device and spirit fully ready to go.
The silvermon had been quite content with the user as of late; with how proactive he was being so it was likely kan would be fully at the reins when the spirit was 'out' using his form and such. The mission guild directive thankfully told him where to go and when to go as timing would be important.
He wasn't the only one signing up for this from what he had gathered which meant that he had to work with others too. Which would of course be healthy for him; after all he needed to see more people and meet more people if he was ever to get better at this whole...
Being a good guy thing?
Knocking his knuckles against the doorframe the human would announce his presence quietly to what was to be his employer.. Employers? The management of this place was the one that hired people on for that job so it was likely it wasn't just one digimon but... you never knew!
"I'm here about the Guild posting."

The Doctor stood in her white lab coat watching the screen with a cold and detached sense of curiosity in her gaze her eyes glued not on the victor, but the Machinedramon he moved to help up. At her back Cloak loomed. The Dark Knightmon hovering like a protective shadow a bare hands breath away from the pale woman. For someone who had been on deaths door the woman looked surprisingly normal. Of course this was merely the illusion her holosuit provided hiding the horror of her true appearance from the world. It, along with the EV suit kept a careful barrier between the Doctor and the world beyond. Lending her her freedom from her icy containment, but robbing her of all sense of touch in the process. Leaving the woman even more detached from the reality she saw. "He fought well...if it was him." Cloak rumbled out his voice drawing a soft considering click of the tongue from his Tamer as she glanced away from the TV towards Dagger where he and slunk off to lean against a wall at the far side of the room. The Duramon still refusing to meet her gaze though his eyes were watchful and no less wary of threats then his twins. "Perhaps we will pay them a visit when this is all over and find out." The Doctor mused blue eyes alighting briefly on Kan with a sort of muted recognition before her gaze slid from him to their employer as he entered. The Etemon earning a shallow nod of greeting.

"Ha ha! Ses Machina avor he cesorep Nostrum Locus...? Liere, liere..." a barely-clothed woman with skin paler than a whiteboard and a pair of stubby black horns spoke in a tongue unknown to most, a manic look in their crimson-red eyes as they haughtily chuckled at the events on-screen in the locker room. They gave a glance over to the bestial Spirit Wielder and then to the doctor, curious if their reactions to the match was as equally ecstatic... though the false human's cheerful facade faded quickly as their expression became coldly mute, realizing that that neither individual seemed particularly
Somewhat nearby Lucey, Haru and also been watching the match play out... though she didn't quite share Lucey's ethusiasm in violence. While refreshing to see that there was good sportsmanship between the combatants here in the coliseum, she wasn't sure if she'd have been an active spectator often. In a way, that was one aspect she had in common with the (seemingly) Vaccine-variant Meicrackmon near her... they both were the types who liked to get their hands dirty, which was precisely why they were here... weren't they?
While Haru had not met the curious beast man Digimon in the locker room before (her Digivice claiming they were a type called a Silvermon...?), this wasn't the first time she has seen the doctor. It did seem Mikemon's treatments HAD helped, at least with Cas's health at a glance. The feline doctor WAS pretty much a miracle worker frankly, they having even helped somewhat reduce the goggle-wearing girl's mutated cross-shaped pupils that matched their partner's... Sure she somewhat had tunnel vision now (more than normal), but hey least she could see! Still, it was up in the air still if Cas was completely fine... her own memory was a bit foggy regarding the brief time she was Rasielmon, but she distinctly remembered TONS of awful outcomes for doctor Cas... the question was, was this timeline one of them?
Well, no point dwelling on that stuff... their employer was here! Haru snapped her fingers slightly at Lucey, the uncanny valley-treading "human" letting out an uncharacteristically animalistic chirp as they retreated back to the tamer and feline Ultimate level, Tawna giving them a slight glare as they did so. Among their small group, Haru was the first to speak up as she turned to Etemon. "W-We're here for the job description? It sounded like something really shady is going on down there..."

Ah, everyone had already arrived!
Etemon half-expected this: the invitation to come to the Arena early did come with a side benefit of being able to sneak a few fights on the monitors, and judging by the excited chirping of one rather interesting-looking - human, maybe? - and the reaction of the dark Knight, at least some of the group was enjoying the show. Giving a nod to both Kan and Haru, the Etemon gave a short nod: "Yes, I see, but unfortunately I's only the one who posted the note. Still waiting on our data expert to-"
"Oh, but they won't be waiting for long!" As if right on cue, the Ebemon - the same fighter that had just been in the ring - slipped right on into the locker room. Despite the mission description, he seemed spry, active, and full of energy, as the Etemon looked upon him with mild disbelief. "Ya'know, no-one said you had to enter the tournament itself to get your data. You could have just-"
"Yes, but what if the phenomenon could only be observed inside the ring? Besides, I could handle this 'machine league' all day."
With a frustrated sigh, the Etemon raised an arm in the scientist's direction. "Well, anyway, what do we have so far?"
"Well, mysterious as it sounds, its quite simple. The moment I stepped into the ring, my sensors ended up magnetizing downwards - but whoever's doing this is being quite shrewd about it. Its even still looking like the trash data is floating about normally... but just as its about to vanish, I'm getting a sense of a sharp 'pull', right into the middle of the ring."
"... And?"
"What do you want from me? That's all." The Etemon looked on almost in disbelief, but gave a sigh:
"Alright, I get it. Honestly, that leaves little enough to the imagination as it is." Still, even if the 'what' was explained, 'how' would something like that even get set up in the first place? "Unfortunately, all we have to go on is that, and the initial fact that our fighters are feeling more drained. If y'all got any thoughts, I'd be glad to hear 'em."

Kan had to admit that he was somewhat surprised to see the doctor and her twins again. He'd give the three a somewhat cheerful nod even though that the doctor seemed to... have some strange kind of reaction to seeing him. It was nothing like back in the forest where she seemed almost nervous? Perhaps it had to do with what she was looking like now? She looked 'better' in objective terms but... He couldn't quite place his finger on it but something seemed off. But it wouldn't be polite to say anything.
"Cloak, Dagger, Cas. Good to see you three again."
The next three that arrived kan hadn't seen before, a human like individual that felt obviously to him as either someone that didn't get out much or a digimon that simply was acting strange in a human holosuit. The man furrowed his brow a little bit however when looking over Tawna, she was not something he recognized at all. He had never seen a digimon like her before and he had to admit that he was curious about the implications of new digimon appearing after so long. Or at least ones that he hadn't seen. That didn't stop him from flashing a small smile and turning to the Etemon.
Kan would rub his chin thoughtfully as he listened to the Ebemon and the Etemon converse. So there was a sharp pull sensation directly in the center of the ring that pulled down. Taking any wayward data from individuals from above and putting it where? The man furrowed his brow and mulled over the implications. He'd hold up his pointer, middle and ring finger, lowering them in sequential order starting with the latter most to former-most.
"One, a machine that is designed to pull data from the fights is placed down there, gathering for some purpose... Likely to empower someone or something"
"Two. A digimon is down there, close enough to where it can actively pull down the data from the ring in an effort to empower itself for reasons unknown."
"The third thought is that it's both of these things, which is pulling so much data so hard that it's tearing some away from the fighters which is why they're so drained. It's unlikely but there are many other options or things that it could be, but we could spend all day speculating and not getting anything done. What's underneath the Coliseum? A sewer system? Older Coliseum? Living quarters? Is that considered a restricted area and who has access out of the staff here?"

"Kan..." Cas spoke voice emotionless as she gave the man a shallow nod the gesture mimicked by Cloak and Dagger though the latter slowly slinks from his spot leaning against the wall to hesitantly rejoin the rest of his team. For a moment the Doctors blue eyes slid to the side taking in the appearance of Haru, Tawna, and the stranger alongside them before her gaze returned to their employer.
"It is a logical conclusion. We will need access to beneath the stadium, but if you do not mind Ebemon I would like to scan you along with an associate of mine. Their sensors may be able to pick up if your data is being siphoned or trace amounts of energy left behind if that is the case." The Doctor intoned her voice clipped, professional, cold, as she slid a data chip into her digivice and awaited the competitors permission.
"I believe Kan has covered most of the questions we might have." The Dark Knightmon rumbled out pausing in thought. "If I recall correctly the ruins of Old Terminus sit beneath the Collusion, but I am only familiar with them in passing." He mused though of course he was familiar with them mostly for the tunnels potential use as an invasion route into Terminus from his time as a General. His employer for such a plan had been ambitious, but ultimately fallen before the invasion could ever be more than theory.

With everyone here and their boss for today, now they all could begin to sit down and discuss the details of why they all were here to begin with... Or at least Haru thought everyone was accounted for, but as it turned out... that wasn't completely the case. Ebemon from the last match had actually turned up, giving some more indepth analysis on the mysterious circumstances plaguing the coliseum, at least confirming everyone's suspicions that something extremely weird was going on here.
"Mo Sacramentum nuor? Ohohoho ~ Ceh ieso vobenob pehop..." Lucey appeared to quietly comment, though they seemed amused by Ebemon and Etemon's own little conversation... As for what the demure-looking demon lord was saying, that was simply something most would simply just have to go and be unable to understand... Haru AND Tawna included.
"... God I wish you could just speak Japanese or something." the goggle-wearing girl snidely spoke to their (even she finding it questionable) friend, wondering if even bringing them here was actually necessary to begin with.
Oh great... they were having to go down to Old Terminus, weren't they? Haru already had plenty of experience down at that awful place... sure her wounds have healed since the incident with Arkadimon, but Old Terminus was definitely a reminder that the Digital World was not a kind place at times. Regardless, if it was necessary... they HAD to do it. "So someone or something could be leeching off all the fighters' energy or data? That could be really bad if it continues, but what WOULD be strong enough to do that from down there?"
The Meicrackmon by Haru's side lightly huffed, their eyes briefly opening to reveal the emerald-green hue their Champion level shared, a slight frown on the Ultimate level's face. "Sounds like there is only one real option... go down there, kill or destroy the problem. Simple enough I suppose." she mused, figuring that would likely be the end all solution for today.
Haru on the otherhand was being more cautious about the objective as a whole, primarily since everyone else was too. "I really don't think it will be that simple..." For now though, best leave things to the doctor... they already devising what seemed to be a plan to track the culprit in case these hair-brained theories had some truth to them. This really was gonna be something they all were going to need to work together to figure out if they wanted to have a shot at getting this situation figured out, and unfortunately she and Tawna were normally just the muscle.
How dangerous though was this mission going to be though? It was affecting even Mega levels, so what gives?

Well, Kan's ideas were definitely direct. Indeed, this wasn't the most difficult puzzle to piece together, though he did bring up a few interesting points - namely, if there were any restricted areas to the Colosseum. "Well, naturally, there are administrative areas, but they were all opened up and searched when this problem was first suspected. I suppose the sewers are a faint possibility-"
"On the contrary," Ebemon cut in, "The sewer system tied to the Colosseum pulls away from the arena. There were plans to expand it, but the discovery of 'Ye Olde Terminus' made it next to impossible to know where to cut the line. We would have had more of a construction idea, but current mapping of that old area is dreadfully poor." It wasn't hard to think of why: between the lawless nature of the lower grounds and both the crime and the malicious monsters that had taken residence, few wanted to throw their lives in a vain attempt at exploration.
However, the idea soon boiled down to just how to explore those older grounds. As they mulled that thought over, the machine gave a nod to Cassandra: "If you believe it will be of use." Naturally, he let that scanner run its course, and the description wasn't anything to write home about:Species: Ebemon Level: Mega Family: Metal Empire Status: Normal "Unfortunately, Digimon lose some amount of data in combat all the time. I did doubt the basic Digimon scanner would be able to tell the difference - especially without a 'before' picture. Though the lack of foreign data might prove that a 'reagent' isn't being used: its completely an opportunistic, outside force."
"Well, at any rate," the Etemon shrugged, "Ya'll will be able to get into Old Terminus through the eastern sewer exit, but once you get down there, it won't just be a mirrored layout. Now if ya'll take a look at your Digivices, and take a look at the 'location' function..."
Even if they hadn't used it before, they'd be able to pull it up easily enough: 8.44 units North, and 3.57 units East. "Unfortunately, that part of Old Terminus ain't mapped, so all you'll have to go on is numbers. And the 'mons down there hit a lot further below the belt than they do here, if ya catch my drift."
That said? "Handle it any way ya want. So long as the trouble doesn't resonate back up to the surface, you all can handle it any way you want."

It was that strange emotionless voice that Cas spoke in that gave Kan a thoughtful pause. He'd glance between the two digimon that were partnered to her for a brief instant before frowning thoughtfully. Had something happened? He didn't know and this wasn't the time to really address that; it was unfortunate that they were on a mission. They probably had a rough time or were having trouble adapting still? Maybe? He didn't know.
The human scratched his neck and considered quietly of the chance of them going to Old Terminus. He had heard about it opening up before but never had the chance to go down there. Followed by the address that the Doctor and the Dark knightmon made well...
The younger woman and her companions all had comments and concerns of their own, each easily addressable. The man found himself rubbing his chin thoughtfully as he considered more options. But he had to agree with both the mon and their partner on this one. It sounded simple, but it was never that simple.
"Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Old Terminus, it's one of the few places I haven't been. Just means more caution or so.
The man watched curiously as the Doctor scanned the Ebemon and found himself wondering why he never bothered getting or installing a scanner into his own Digivice. Then the Ebemon along with the Etemon gave them even more information they could use. He'd quietly pull out his digivice as the Etemon 'suggested' but rather than press buttons or the like he'd hold up the item. It's cracked and useless screen obvious.
"I'll have to rely on the two of you for that, my digivice's screen isn't exactly operable."
The man considered quietly and shifted slightly rubbing his neck again. Still once again the etemon made sense; that the underground wasn't mapped and all they had to go on were 'numbers' and that the mons down there played incredibly dirty.
"Sounds like just about any place out of the way then..."
The man sighed and shook his head, scratching at his neck once more before pocketing his digivice.
"Just means a lot of searching and avoiding unnecessary fights up until we get to whatever is causing this mess..."

"My scouts can help with mapping out the Old Terminus. Between our digivices and the data they collect being sent to my D-terminal we will be unlikely to get lost." Cassandra spoke eyeing the readout from Ebemon with mild curiosity before determining that it was not worth calling upon Jegan just yet. Sliding a different chip into her Digivice she clicked the button as the figure of a Green Monitamon materialized from light.
"Zaku reporting for D~" The Green Monitamon began only to trail off with a startled squeak at the sight of the Doctor. "D-duty..." He finished hesitantly as Cloak shook his head lightly at the little Digimon as if warning him from saying more even as Cas's lips gave the barest twitch of a smile, but the gesture was a hollow one.
"We will be entering into the area beneath Old Terminus and will need your assistance to scout and map the area." The Doctor explained in that cold mechanical voice only glancing up once as Tawna and Haru drew close. Tawna at least in closing the distance would likely realize just what had caused the Monitamon to pause. The Doctor's scent once a mix of human and digimon had completely changes leaving only the scent of metal and heated ozone, the scent of the D-reaper.
"Y-yes Ma'am." Zaku chirped with a quick salute glancing between Cloak and Dagger and only relaxing when it became clear that both seemed unbothered if tense.

It seemed that what fate had in the cards for them all was a one-way ticket to the ruins of Old Terminus... Joy. Haru somewhat wished that wasn't what was in store for them all, but there really was no way to avoid it... the problem was down there, and it needed to be stopped. Still, "L-Let's keep our guard when we're down there... I freakin' almost died to some bastard bug who jumped on me a while ago." the girl spoke, pulling out a microchip and pressing it onto Lucey, their form wavering as a brief glimpse of the Lucemon Larva's true form could be seen before being sucked into the chip, Haru pocketing it. "I don't think anyone is familiar with that awful place... it feels like every time we've gone down there, the environment had changed... So lets just try and play it by ear."
Fortunately, it did seem Doctor Cas had brought some backup that could help... A Monitamon that had meekly flinched briefly at the doctor's presence before recovering. Tawna would have thought it to be a curious reaction, but her own keen sense of smell caught the whiff of a foul metallic odor... more poignant than any amount of mercury or heated metal could offer... Not even Tawna whose body was used to even some of the most dangerous toxins particularly liked it, even her instincts warning her that there was something very dangerous about the doctor.
Whatever the D-Reaper had done to them was far more pervasive than a simple infection... It had changed the doctor's very being. The only relief was that the doctor was on their side, and not an opposing threat... Anyone with the willpower to overpower even the D-Reaper earned Tawna's respect.
They all had a game plan at least. With that settled, Haru seemed to squint slightly... before palming her face, two contact lenses popping out into her hands as she pocketed them. She wouldn't be needing those down there in the darkness of Old Terminus, Mikemon's work having at least done their job up till now. Without the contacts obscuring their true shape, Haru's mutated blue pupils were visible... their shape mutilated into a pair of crosses just like their feline partner. Said eyes squinted briefly, attempting to adjust to the light of the room...
Note to self, don't Biomerge for like 3 hours and with your partner 95% dead... It leads to weird effects.
"I-I think we're ready though... Should we get going?" the girl somewhat quietly asked, glancing over to Kan, then the doctor and her partners. They did appear to have a pretty strong composition team-wise, but Haru still could not help but feel the cold feeling of doubt in her heart. She usually tried to look at things from a positive viewpoint, but ever since the situation at the Northern Prominence a bit ago, she had been more cautious than ever. "... I just hope this ain't gonna be another situation like back in the Northern Prominence..." she quietly whispered, admittingly giving Cas a slightly apologetic look... figuring they knew quite well just what they meant.

It seemed that the group had a general idea of what to do - though as Kan pulled out a broken Digivice, the Ebemon gave a frustrated tut. "How'd we end up with such a... alright, fine, here!" A wirey appendage flexed out, placing the Digimon's own location device into his hand. Its only function was to serve as a very rudimentary GPS, but at the very least the wolf would be on the same page as the rest of the group.
Cassandra's ideas were sound enough, and Haru's words were enough to heed caution. "Safety in numbers, and all that - though there's definitely a chance that you'll all be walking up to a nasty nest. Ya'll need to keep your attention both up and around you - even Zaku might want to stay within eyesight of the group. Or, at least have some sort of code-word to yell out if he runs into his own trouble."
That said, it seemed like they were just about ready to head out - towards the eastern entrance to Terminus' underbelly.
7.53 N 8.87 E
The very entrance to the underground - a good few miles away from the arena itself - would give one an idea of scale for how the units of measurement were kept. As could be somewhat expected, the entrance to the ruins themselves were of relatively low threat, a few interested onlookers even climbing down the rubble and sneaking past the tape to get a look or a picture of the area.
It also meant that this was one of the more populated areas of the underground: as the group would make their way down, they'd find a rather cleared-out space. Though rubble and derelict buildings could be seen in all directions - even behind their point of entrance - the immediate area had been brushed out, leaving a smooth stone floor beneath them. Towards the left, one would find what looked to be a crude residential area - torches lit outside of somewhat repaired buildings, and crouched-over Digimon conversing in low noises. It wasn't a good neighborhood, but so long as they didn't ask too many questions, it wasn't a dangerous one.
As the group would climb down and group up, another Digimon would be making his exit: a WereGarurumon, with a heavy scar over his cheek, chipped claws - and a black mark burned into his left arm. It didn't seem to mean anything at a glance, but seemed perhaps too 'perfect' to be merely seen as battle damage: two black lines with the same length were 'etched' right into the side of his arm. He seemed self-absorbed, even bumping into the Silvermon as he made his way to climb out.
Curious, but by itself, maybe it didn't mean much. The direction they needed to travel was away from the residential district, several hollowed-out ruins and buildings lining their path. Unfortunately, this was also met with another unfortunate fact: sheer darkness. Old Terminus had been abandoned for so long, and was simply built over: away from the entrance, there simply wasn't a way for natural light to spill through!

A new ally? In the form of a Monitamon that the doctor summoned out from her digivice. Kan let out a soft sigh as he was distinctly reminded of gretal and how he had carried her around like that for a while before eventually settling for a holosuit for them. The man shifted slightly and watched the others with curiosity; the interactions were strange and if they were anything to go by...
He'd shake his head and after a few moments blinked as Haru spoke; his brows furrowed drastically as she already had a near death experience? At that age? He had only one or two of those; but they were well after he was of age. What sort of youth was the digital world making now days?
The man stretched before taking on the form of Silvermon; he'd be useless otherwise. The wolfish individual stretched again and set a hand on his sword.
"We'll have to be careful down there, if your experience is anything to go by. But hopefully the fact we're in a large group will dissuade any problems that we'd run into."
The ultimate tier cracked his neck and stared at the Ebemon. They seemed frustrated with the fact that his digivice was broken; he'd shrug softly and took the gps eyeing it quietly. Murmuring softly as he turned to leave...
"The digital world gives everyone something, it's not always fixed, and not always broken. But it's what you have and how you use it that matters."
Upon the next area the silvermon would cross his arms, looking around quietly and taking it in. This was a massive difference from above; something he wasn't truly expecting but.. He wasn't going to argue. As they were making their way in another digimon was making their exit; a WereGarurumon with a heavy scar over his cheek, some chipped claws and a black mark burned into his left arm. The ultimate spirit paused to look at this and the weregarurumon bumped into him; though kan knew it likely meant very little he'd turn his head to look at the individual with furrowed brows.
A person to remember for sure, perhaps for later and judging by the time frame well.. He'd turn to continue forward; once again reminded of Gretal. The WereGarurumon-x was quiet; somewhat scarred and a hell of a fighter.
"We should be careful, any of you have a light?"
The spirit stepped forward considering their options and stared quietly forward. He ultimately could do a plethra of things to deal with this had he brought some equipment or the like but... He could rely on his companions.

"I assure you I have no intention to allow Zaku to roam from the group. His sensors though will prove useful for mapping our route into and out of Old Terminus." The Doctor responded her tone clipped and mechanical even as she gave the Monitamon a glance of acknowledgement the little Digimon hesitantly joining her side. For a moment he would glance up at the Doctor as if waiting on something, expecting something, but the woman had already shifted her attention onto Haru. Her gaze sharpening with clinical curiosity.
"Interesting..." She murmured allowing the word to hang in the air before she would turn smartly on her heel as the group departed. Dagger instead being the one to bend and scoop the little Digimon up into his arms with a quiet murmur of reassurance.
"Is Oyabun...?" Zaku questioned quietly glancing up at the Duramon unsure of just what he was asking.
"She's...she's very sick. We're trying to help her get better." Dagger whispered soft enough that the Doctor and the Dark Knightmon that loomed protectively at her back would not overhear it, but those that lingered behind might detect the golden Digimon's hesitation. There was nothing for it now though.
Even after the...incident as Cloak had chosen to think upon such things it was clear why certain individuals referred to the Doctor as Oyabun. Cassandra held a certain air about herself eyes sharp and commanding as she stepped into the dark depths though whatever gentleness she had held before had been robbed of her. Leaving the woman a walking weapon with all the softness and warmth of a blade as she viewed her surroundings with detached and clinical eye looking for all the world as if she belonged. The black presence of Cloak at her back enough to deter the curious gazes of those they passed though the Dark Knightmo spared the WereGarurumon an assessing glance. Quickly deeming him a non-threat as the group passed.
Dagger and Zaku would follow close behind eventually closing in despite their wariness as the Doctor paused giving the pair an expectant glance as they finally came to walk alongside her. The Monitamon's screen eventually lightning the pitch darkness of the tunnels they walked. Not that darkness no matter how deep was much of a deterrent for Cassandra these days. She'd evolved beyond such things, but despite herself she found her hand slipping into her infini-store as she drew forth a flashlight offering it silently to Kan. The gesture earning a slim hopeful smile from Dagger even as Cloak considered the wolf like man for a moment before focusing on keeping watch alongside Zaku for threats. The Monitamon mapping their path as they went.
Logically her allies could not fight at full capacity if they were blind Cas reasoned silently. Yes. Yes that must be why she felt the inexplicable need to aid the man.
