On the plus side, it didn't seem anyone was gonna let their guard down... Old Terminus was just another reminder of how dangerous the Digital World was, and whatever was the cause of all this weird exhaustion towards the fighters did not give Haru much hopes that this would be an easy situation to solve.
Still... she couldn't help but concerned for the doctor's health. They just seemed to so... broken. Or perhaps was the word jaded more apt? She wasn't a terribly smart person, but she understood people; and the look she caught in Dagger's eye just reassured Haru that this trio's set of problems were far deeper than just anyone is capable of joining in on.
The entrance to Old Terminus was just as seedy-looking as she remembered, and its inhabitants... Well, Haru was sure there were good people in the mix! Couldn't judge them all based on their cover... especially when her partner's other Ultimate level was basically a furry death machine in looks. Still, it didn't give Haru comfort coming back down here...
If there was one good aspect of Haru's mutated eyes, they offered excellent night vision... the darkness of Old Terminus was about as visible as if she had a flashlight as well. Tawna also seemed to have little problem navigating through the darkness too; the Meicrackmon having a trio of their Mini-Meis out and scouting the area as they moved.
Hoping to somewhat break the metaphoric ice, Haru was the first to try actual genuine small conversation... even if also trying to spin it in a manner that pertained to their goal at hand. While doctor Cassandra was an acquaintance, this was the first time they've really been working side-by-side, wasn't it? Truth be told, it was also just because she didn't like being quiet. "Err, so... I know we're all prob expecting that we'll get into a scrap later... Just a hunch and all, but should we just kinda give an idea what we all can do? It might help us coordinate?" the cat-eyed girl spoke in a chipper (even somewhat innocent) manner, genuinely just trying to start a conversation up. She turned around to face Kan, walking backwards to keep up the pace. "I-I don't think had the chance to introduce ourselves, but my name is Haru; my partner here being Tawna. Hope we're not being a nuisance!"
Tawna gave the group a soft nod, even if they had already met Cassandra a good while ago. "Hi. I used to be a serial killer." the Ultimate level calmly spoke in a monontonous tone... though ended up adopting a somewhat surprised look on the fake-Vaccine's face as they immediately began to backtrack, realizing they had spoke without really even thinking about it. "... Uhh, retired serial killer. Just wanted to correct that statement so we don't get false ideas... What I mean to say is, I hope that might offer some insight that I'm not new to this." they somewhat hastily spoke, attempting to handwave the sentence away in an attempt to at least make the conversation less awkward.

Well, Haru would have one thing right as the group would make their way Westward: this was about the only time guaranteed to the group that they would be able to simply talk. And even then, it was debatable whether that was the smart thing to do.
Fortunately, not everyone in the group handled themselves poorly in darkness - but unfortunately, the 'deeper' residents of Old Terminus were, perhaps, far better equipped to deal with the darkness. Each step was a risk, walking through unfamiliar territory and cover... and it wasn't as if Tawna nor Haru was doing any favors keeping their travel quiet. Though the path would stay quiet, a certain 'feeling' would fill the air, perhaps just the vibe that someone was watching them. But what?
7.86 N 6.44 E
At around these coordinates, the silence of the night wore off, as five bright balls of light suddenly streamed into view - three from the front, and one from each side:
Thundermon - and fast buggers at that! Careening like a lightning bolt, one in the front aimed to zig-zag right through the Mini Meis and destroy them on the spot, while another bolted forward - though, not for Tawna, but for Haru, aiming to strike right at her gut!
In similar fashion, two more of these Digimon would move, one with a grin on their face as he expelled out an electrical burst, aiming to catch both of the armored twins. The one on the right, in the meantime, would try and settle his focus on Cassandra - though this one betrayed their true reason for being here. Should the speedy devil get close, it would try and extend a hand out to whatever valuable it could - whether that was the cards, the Digivice, the Infini-Store, it really didn't care!
As for the Silvermon, this 'hit and run' tactic was all the same: one would rush suddenly from the left, and try to blind-side him with a sudden impact to the chest. These thieves didn't intend to stick around for long!
Log:
Five Thundermon appeared! Four are using 'Rush Surge' - in an attempt to destroy the Mini Mei's, knock Haru and Kan off their feet, and 'pickpocket' Cassandra.
The fifth is using 'Thunder Surge', extending out a weaker electrical field in an attempt to stun the metallic targets!

Kan shifted a little bit and stared quietly at Cloak, dagger and Cassandra. He was somewhat worried with the change in demeanor he had seen thus far but ultimately he wasn't really at a place where he could ask them about it safely or easily. Instead the Silvermon was more surprised to the point where he paused as the woman offered the flashlight to him.
He'd gingerly accept it and flash a small smile to Cassandra before turning on the item in question so he could see properly. His night vision wasn't the best, but he could certainly make it very direct and easy if they found a block to the place they needed to go.
"Thank you."
The wolfish man's attention for the most part was on the surroundings for a little bit; his ears flicked and his headwings shifted when the younger woman addressed him. Giving that friendly smile from earlier he'd even go so far as to offer a hand as a shake to both haru and tawna respectively if they desired.
"Seems like a solid idea, A pleasure to meet you Haru, Tawna. I'm kan. And no, you're not being a Nuisance. It's a good idea to share our capabilities."
The man paused however when Tawna spoke, surprise etched on his features. The wolfish man paused and looked down at his hand. There was a moment and he was there again. With a soft sigh he'd rub his eyes with his middle finger and thumb.
"Suppose you'd be happy to know you're not the only one in that boat..."
The man paused and scratched his neck looking less than pleased that he had said that but he'd move on past that to his abilities.
"As of right now, without breaking the seals placed by the Silvermon-x spirit I can only access this form. It's capable of flying, phasing through terrain and physical objects, A slash dash, a ten foot radius heal though that caps out at four people for a light heal so I'm not sure how useful that is... Then I have a large dome like ability that can block damage. I also can summon up a holy energy weapon but it doesn't last for long. Oh and this form is considered 'ultimate' so I suppose it's somewhat strong in scope of things...."
He'd pause and hold up his hand, at least the one without the flashlight in it.
"I can ask Silvermon-x to break the bindings on my mega spirit, but I'd rather not unless it's a last resort. Because binding that asshole will take a LOT a second time..."
The spirit user had maybe a few moments to hear whatever replies the others had for them before the five balls of light suddenly streamed into view. They were fast, incredibly slow and the Silvermon itself rejected the idea that these things were friendly.
He wasn't the fastest at this reaction but his open hand slammed down against the ground and the Wolfish man let out a soft word of reassurance to those around him. It was maybe two or three additional seconds that the dome took to spring into existence. Considering how tight the group was mixed with positioning the 30 foot dome would probably cover everyone.
"A small blessing, but a blessing non the less..."
Depending on how fast these things were, mixed with how they reacted to the dome would also mean that some of them might just end up trapped inside while the others might bounce off of the barrier. Unfortunately with such an overall reaction he'd likely be unable to stop any that got into the dome for the meantime. But that's what you had team-mates for right?
He didn't care if he got hit by one of these things, even with their nasty stunning effect for the metallic targets. Sure he was wearing a bunch of metal, but his sword would probably take most of that considering the sheer size of the blade....
Log: -In an attempt to stop the 'balls' of light Kan uses Bastion.
Attack: Bastion: This digimon may use it's own voice to evoke a large dome like structure to block incoming damage [30 feet]. This dome may be passed through if not attacked, when attacked the dome hardens considerably and may not be passed through. The Dome itself may withstand two ultimate attacks, Six champion attacks, twelve rookie attacks and is not damaged by anything under rookie.mega's may destroy the barrier without second thought. The cool down of this ability is two posts starting from when it was destroyed. It has a duration of three posts if not attacked and the cool down starts afterwards.

"I am acquainted with you both, but very well. I am Doctor Cassandra Cross. I specialize in treating physical trauma in both digimon, humans, and animal. If you value your life you will under no circumstances remove the EV suit I am wearing as it is there for your own safety." The Doctor intoned voice clipped and mechanical only the finest tremble to her limbs as she walked giving away that there was anything truly wrong with the woman physically. Though Cloak lingering as close as he was at her back was quick to reach out a hand to steady the Tamer should she appear to falter.
"I'm Dagger the looming nightmare clad in black metal there is my twin Cloak. We're Cas's partners. The Monitamon is Zaku." Dagger murmured introducing the rest of the team even as he set Zaku down allowing the Monitamon to get into position as he began to switch over his sensors, however it would already be too late as the lights flickered into the view. The Lightning fast thieves moving in to attempt to claim their plunder. However, should the barrier erected by Ken fail to halt their progress the one attempting to attack Cassandra looking to snatch and grab whatever they could from the Doctor would find themselves smashing hard into a barrier of light as the woman's Light Screen kicked in stopping their advance.
"You must be either very foolish or very desperate to try robbing me of all people." The Tamer mused coldly eyes like ice in the low light as she observed their attackers. Cloak and Dagger however should the barrier fail to stop the thieves would react far more...violently. Zaku letting out a sharp yelp of surprise at the shock, the twins merely flinching before Cloak lashed out with his twin spear in fury looking to impale one of the attackers as Dagger went to sweep their legs ceasing their movements.

Despite how... well, mildly intimidating Kan looked in their Silvermon form, they at least were relatively affable actually... Honest too if their off-hand comment about also being a former serial murderer was true as well. Yeah... That was a bit awkward, wasn't it? Haru wasn't the type to judge, though she was clearly somewhat caught offguard. "Uhh... eheh, uh... Nice joke." she somewhat bashfully commented, briefly twiddling her thumbs.
The doctor's own words of caution were somewhat ominous too, not helped by the doctor's uncanny behavior... that of which she had a partial understanding of what they were talking about. Haru knew enough about EV suits that whatever had happened to the doctor regarding that awful incident back at the Northern Prominence had done far more than surface-level damage to the doctor's body...
However, they all had not much time as they had all hoped... Tawna's quiet was sparked back into a state of awareness as the additional vision her Mini-Meis had were suddenly snuffed out, the bestial humanoid readying her guard as she felt a surge of electricity course through her and briefly locking her up arms and legs... The Meicrackmon forced to her knees as she gritted her teeth, Kan erecting a barrier that shelled the group. It wasn't enough to halt their foes entirely... but it was enough for Tawna to her bearings to see one of the small spherical Digimon rushing towards her partner... Something the Beast Man Digimon was not particularly fond of.
Good thing she still had at least two or three limbs still available.
As the Thundermon fast approached, Tawna did what any other self-respecting Digimon would have done... The Meicrackmon extended out the large feelers that grew from her neck with the dexterity of her own arms, aiming to intercept and slap down the Thundermon as they approached Haru with brutal force.
She was trying to be good... Yet people kept giving her reasons to not do so.
Tawna was briefly stunned by Thunder Surge[/i], but is able to attempt to whack the Thundermon approaching Haru with one of her tendrils. Light Radiator generated 1 Light stack.
[PASSIVE] Light Radiator - Meicrackmon's attacks radiate unstable light energy that build up within her. Each turn in combat, Meicrackmon generates 1 Light Stack (to a max of 5). By expending 3 stacks, Meicrackmon can empower her attack with light energy, increasing it's damage significantly while causing the attack to explode in a cone to damage other nearby foes.

For a 'Thundermon', two or three seconds was quite a bit of time: with one having already ripped through the three Mini-Meis, it didn't take long for the thieves to try and get a handle on their target. The one locked onto Kan, with him distracted with making the barrier, would likely make a heavy impact with the Silvermon's chest - before giving a frustrated 'tsk'. If he wasn't stopped, the 'ball' would simply drop down, skip off the ground, and try and dart his way past the group on the other side.
Well, their hit-and-run tactics wouldn't be for naught - provided that they could get through these partner Digimon! With the Mini-Meis destroyed, the third Thundermon simply thought he could get through - but such a direct approach made him an easy target for that tendril. A small 'skid' wasn't enough to stop him from being knocked towards the ground...
... But with Tawna stunned, this was his best chance! He'd simply try and 'bounce' right back, kicking off the floor, aiming once more towards the tamer - but this time, in an effort to try and slip 'past' her. In fact, it might have looked like he was just trying to get away - if not for that arm snapping out for the strap of her backpack! If he could catch her unaware, one quick pull would likely be all it took to rob her blind as he sped on by!
As for Cassandra - oh boy, Cassandra. The 'thief' hit that barrier of light head on, rubbing his head just as the tamer coolly said those words. Honestly, neither he nor the 'stunning' Thundermon wanted anything to do with what she was packing - and with the ultimates less affected by the electricity than they'd prefer, given the chance, the two would simply try and shoot off past the group, no thieving attempts of their own.
Regardless, those that found the back of the dome would be in for a surprise:
"What the-"
"Hey, what gives!"
Oof, solid wall! Fast as the Thundermon was, the barrier finally had time to settle - and, well, the whole lot of them were stuck inside!

Considering their speed stopping these Thundermon's outright wasn't going to work too well. And considering how they darted around and stung in comparison to what he was expecting.. Well... The silvermon stood up quietly dusting it's hands off like it had more or less dealt with the fact that these attempted theives would escape. He'd let out a loose chuckle and place a hand on his Sword. The one that had made an heavy impact on his chest certainly earned a somewhat reasonable glare before his face dropped into a somewhat earnest grin.
"My my. Did you really think it'd be that easy?"
The spirit turned holding one hand out in a somewhat friendly manner; even going so far as smiling to the thundermons. To those that would know Kan and the spirits he kept this was far from a friendly smile.
"Just the sort of people we could use in one way or another. Theives often know the in's and outs around here don't they? Don't suppose either of you have some questions for them."
The spirit drew out his sword flared it dramatically before turning the weapon into a brilliant spear of holy energy. The silvermon's unsaid line was likely something easy to understand; with the way that he was holding that spear.
"Or perhaps maybe their data will suffice in giving us some answers."
Log: -Kan took some damage from the thundermon -Kan used Holy Lance.
Attack used: Holy Lance: Focusing it's energies this digimon may turn it's sword into a large energized weapon. This weapon may be thrown for an incredible amount of damage in a small ten foot explosion; where the energy is spent all at once and the weapon it was based around returns to it's wielder's hands. If the wielder deigns to use the holy weapon instead it may be carried for upwards of three posts. Regardless of how it was used, it has a two post cool down from the end point of it's use.

The twins attacks would miss by miles the Thundermon's too fast for the Ultimates with their armor sparking still with electricity which slowed and hindered their movements and actions. leaving Dagger snarling with frustration and anger as Zaku limping darted behind Cassandra's form. The Woman herself eyeing the ball like Digimon that has smashed into her shield with sharp frigid eyes the barest twitch of her lips the only sign of her fleeting amusement as she allowed the Monitamon to take refuge behind her. Zaku having evidently come to the realization that changed or not the devil you knew what better then the demon you didn't in regards to the Doctor.
"There is nowhere for you to run. Yield for questioning and you may be allowed to leave intact." Cloak commanded in a dark echoing rumble motioning to his twin to move alongside him to flank their Tamer. Carefully encircling the Doctor with their own forms as the Dark Knightmon glowered down upon their attackers his quarrel with his sibling temporarily forgotten in the face of his need to defend his Partner.
"I do have a question actually." The Doctor spoke, every single syllable of her sentence carefully articulated and as chilled as the frosty metal of a blade. The woman herself turning blank detached eyes upon the Thundermon considering their presence as one might an insect beneath a microscope any minuscule amount of movement carefully wiped away.
"We're looking for a large collection of data at the points of 8.44 units North, and 3.57 units East. Either centered within a machine or a Digimon themselves. Honesty in answering this question would greatly persuade me in allowing you your freedom. Dishonesty however..." The Doctor trailed off lifting a hand to casually inspect her nails as Dagger bared his fangs white and sharp at the champion Digimon adding to the woman's silent threat.

Tawna was quick, even with the slight shocking feeling from earlier for a moment locking her up... but so were these damn Thundermon. They weren't a threat to them really, but they were still damn persistent! Even as she managed a pretty strong blow on one of the Thundermon, they were already back up... Though they weren't escaping emptyhanded.
Haru felt a strong yank on her back, the backbag she had over her shoulders pulled hard enough that she was forced back... the strap around one of her shoulders not enough to keep her possessions from being torn away from her, much to her horror. "J-Jerk! Give that back!" the girl desperately spoke, trying to vainly reach out for the bag even if completely pointless with the speed of the small Champion levels.
Fortunately, Kan had already defused any potential of the electrical thieves escaping for now with the barrier... A bunch of cornered rats that frankly, Tawna herself was losing her patience with. The beast woman glared an angry look at the Thundermon that had been stupid enough to try and attack and steal from Haru... Sure it wasn't a straight up damaging attack, but it did lessen her anger even remotely. "Perhaps... Though frankly, I would have picked targets less capable of defending themselves." Tawna mused in response to the Kan, briefly cracking her knuckles as she stepped forward. "If you are wise... you will do what the scary woman says, drop the bag, and stay out of our way." the Meicrackmon spoke with a stern voice... the mane of fur around their neck growing wilder as they extended out the red Digizoid claws, their green schlera turning a crimson hue as she bore a frowning maw of razor-sharp teeth as their scorpion-stinger tail flicked about anxiously towards that particular Thundermon... whether a gesture for the Thundermon to kindly hang the stolen bag on it or prepare to skewer them was vague. "... I used to be a thief too. I̷͏ ͘̕s͟͢t̴̕oĺ̕͜e͠ ͘͠li̵v͝͡e҉҉s̡͘͜.̴"
Needless to say, scare-tactics has sort of become one of Tawna's personal favorite toys recently... There were many ways to kill someone, but killing their spirit was a particularly effective way.
Tawna had Slide Digivolved from Meicrackmon to the Ultimate level, Meicrackmon Vicious Mode. She isn't taking particularly well to thieves...

Sheesh, what rotten luck! This little pass-by didn't result in anything but a single back-pack - easily torn away from Haru's back - but the wolf's shield prevented them from simply getting away with their catch. Naturally, the two that had reached the end of the dome had already made an effort to try and break through, two powerful electrical blasts unable to break through on their own.
Like it or not, they were cornered: grouping up as five at that end of the dome, the five champions found those three ultimates staring them down. Between the sword-wielding-wolf, the threatening MeiCrackmon, and even the visage of the doctor? Well...
"Tch..." No arguments from the Thundermon, no sir! The one holding Haru's backpack gave a nod towards Tawna, and tossed the bag over in the MeiCrackmon's direction. To them, having those claws occupied with something else meant that those claws wouldn't be used on them.
Kan's unspoken threat, and Cassandra's following question, earned a bit of a confused murmur from the crowd. They were speaking in coordinates? "We don't go by numbers itself-"
"I think they just want to know what's that way?" Another Thundermon pointed off in the direction the group seemed to be walking in the first place - and on that, the thoughts of the third clicked.
"Oh, right, that! Um, I don't know everything, but there's something that a bunch of haughty hot-shots are calling the... 'Chaos Arena' or something stupid like that. Anyone with anything to do about it's got some sort of mark or something on their arm... the more decorated it looks, the higher rank, or something?"
"I don't know, either - they just kinda showed up one day and it seemed like bad news for anyone else. We just sorta gave them the space and left them alone. No point messing with that cult-shit, you know?"
"Anyway, we'll be nice and on our way if you don't need us..."

The spirit user was correct in the assumption that the others would 'back' him in this little stunt. Realistically the moment the dome collapsed he would probably not been able to keep up with the crowd. He'd turn his head slightly to Cassandra. The way she spoke was careful; like she didn't want them to be able to weasel out of whatever she asked.
She certainly was more threatening than he, as not only was she a threat but the fact both cloak, dagger and her little friend that she summoned out were all capable of fighting in one manner or another.
Kan's ear flicked a little bit and he gazed at Tawna. Her quip only earned a small smile from the Spirit before he turned his attention to the thundermon. Her last statement brought an honest shiver that ran down his spine. He could only imagine just how this particular digimon went about it.
Jealous of digimon... Who wouldn't be?
The power they had made it obvious that kan was the little fish out of the group but at the same time he couldn't help but wonder to himself just how much more powerful they were than he. He wasn't a fool; he knew how things went.
The answers that the Thundermon gave them made kan pause visibly. His free hand coming up to rub his muzzle thoughtfully.
"Like that weregarurumon... It was pretty simple, but did anyone really get a look at it?"
The spirit user turned to look at the thundermon's; frowning quietly as they explained more and more. That they had shown up one day, that it was bad news and they gave them space. A wise decision considering their blunder.
"I'd suggest staying further away than you ussually do then."
The wolf man waves his hand, and like clockwork his dome vanished completely. Though considering that it's time was up, the actual strength of the barrier was thankfully not in question. He turned slightly though he kept his holy lance going; as now he had a small light source of his own for the moment.
"Lets see if we can find an individual with a mark on it; or we always could have the option to backtrack and wait for that guy we saw near the entry. Or we can continue forward but carefully... and quietly."

"Very well. If Kan in inclined to lift the shield you may depart. Cross us again though I you will not walk away with your lives." The Doctor informed them cold emotionless blue eyes pinning the Thundermon beneath her gaze like butterflies on a dart board before she turned to the Monitamon.
"Zaku relay the past hour of recording to my D-terminal..." Cassandra ordered only to pause her eyes darkening with confusion as though she felt she was forgetting something before adding a mechanical "Please." The Monitamon in question nodding quietly and doing just that.
"Also turn on Radar mode. I do not want any further surprises." The Tamer added her clipped tones drawing a minute flinch from the little Digimon as the woman in question sifted through the data sent to the machine computer clipped to her arm. Pulling up the recorded image of the Were-Garurumon they had seen upon entering the tunnel and turning so the others might view it.
"This whole thing sounds like a mix between a cult and an underground fighting ring though I suppose we won't be certain till we see it with our own eyes." Dagger murmured glancing over the image before turning his golden gaze further down the dark tunnel as Zaku switched over his sensors.
Zaku uses: -RADAR: Monitamon scans their surroundings with radar pulses allowing them to detect objects, people, and Digimon as far afield as five miles. The Monitamon may take one post to switch gears allowing it to detect even concealed objects within fifty yards, but to go back to normal Radar it must take another post to change back. However, it gives no other information about their targets beyond their location making it impossible to determine if a ping is a hostile opponent or just someone passing through.

Tawna almost was somewhat disappointed that the Thundermon had the sense to know when to fold them... but being tossed the bag was enough to satisfy the Ultimate level, they even giving the small spherical Digimon a cattish smile. "Thank you kindly."
That aside, the situation seemed to at least sort itself out... relatively speasking. Haru wasn't want for such forceful methods, but damn if it didn't get results... and hey, better than actually killing the lil' guys. She would have felt bad if someone died that didn't really deserve it. At the same time, they did get some juicy info about some kind of Chaos Arena. How ominous... A second arena? She's yet to hear about something like that, but it did seem to be a recent development down here in Old Terminus. As soon as the Thundermon are allowed to leave, Haru turned her attention to the others. "This seems really funky... Do you think this Chaos Arena is trying to butt in on the coliseum's turf you think?" the girl questioned, it definitely looking like it had something to do with the fighters' exhaustion. Taking note of the image of the WereGarurumon that had been recorded, the girl humming to herself. "Do you think this guy has the same kinda mark the Thundermon were talking about?"
Tawna briefly shrugged as she wrapped the backpack back around Haru's arm, their Mini-Meis having regenerated by their side (and a bit frazzled it seems from their prior destruction). "Possibly, but getting to that arena should be our top priority." the feline somewhat coldly spoke, though soon adopted a toothy smile. "Makes ya wonder who or what's the mastermind. I'm honestly gettin' a lil' excited!"
"We're not fighting as part of the arena, Tawna." Haru felt the need to correct her partner, though this only earned a slight chuckle from the cat.
"I mean, it doesn't need to be officially."

Stay further away? One didn't need to tell these Thundermon twice! Between Kan's kind suggestion, the doctor's threatening words, and, well, Tawna, the five Thundermon simply gave a nod, and made their way further down the street, simply blazing past the trail the group already covered. Zaku's information would be able to pull up the WereGarurumon - and luckily, they'd have a good look at the arm!
Still, the design didn't seem like it meant anything in particular: simply two black lines, burnt in parallel on his forearm. Did that mean second rank, or that he lost a fight with a waffle iron? More interesting was the result of 'Radar': in the direction they were traveling, Zaku would actually come across a blind spot, a 'cone outward' of where he would be unable to sense anything there or behind it. It seemed that whatever was going on at the Chaos Arena, they thought it wise enough to try and mask it.
But if the Thundermon's words were right...
... Then the arena itself wasn't a secret at all. Pressing their way through the sheer darkness of Old Terminus, the group would finally come across a source of light, a mere unit away from their estimated location. Dimly hung electrical lanterns were cast across a dusty floor, illuminating a grand wall of what appeared to be a Colosseum of sorts - complete with several ancient, open archways leading up to the stands. Outside, however?
The worst of what the underground had to offer was on display. In fact, the tone was outright boisterous: open gambling in the streets, questionable goods for purchase at several stands, and a crowd gathering around a particularly popular stand at the arena, placing bets in an openly vocal tone:
"First blood to Red!"
"Leafy's gonna take it!"
"Give me thirty that its under two minutes!"
Well, clearly, this place hadn't gone unnoticed - and should they take a careful look around, they'd see several 'marked' Digimon, between the Rookie and Ultimate range, each with a similar mark to the WereGarurumon on their person. Out here, there wasn't a single Digimon with more than three lines - and those that were marked seemed to pull away from the main crowds, hanging more by the gambling circles or even off on their own. A Strabimon, three lines on his arm, flipped the flop for Texas Hold-Em, and a Lillymon, two across the back of her hand, idly smoked under a lantern.
Even the presence of the group hadn't done more than raise a glance. Surely they were just here for the carnage, right?

The recording that the Zakumon showed would be for the most part scrutinized for a few long moments. Taking in the weregarurumon for a few long seconds before sighing. That mark was something that was connected to this whole business huh?
The questions and concerns that Haru brought up were justified and the silvermon rubbed his chin thoughtfully. If the Chaos arena was trying to butt in on the turf of the coliseum there were plenty of easier ways of them doing this. But perhaps they didn't really know what sort of business they were getting into here.
"Thank you; A cult and underground fighting ring would certainly be dangerous. And if they're trying to butt in on the Coliseum's turf that only means this is going to be an uphill fight in lamest terms. We're likely going to have to be even more careful once we get there."
The man shook his head and felt a smile crack across his face as the feline cracked a few jokes. Or at least what amounted to jokes in his book.
The arena itself yawned up before them; the silvermon's eyes widened a bit and almost immediately upon seeing the number of individuals around dismissed his holy lance. Such an ability would no doubt draw unwanted attention from some. There was open gambling, questionable goods and a large enough crowd that would make any fight a serious problem. He'd shoot a worried glance at the group before stepping forward and begun peering around a little bit.
Several marked digimon much like the weregarurumon were here. Rookie, champion and Ultimates were the most common. They tended to keep away from the crowd and probably for good reason. He'd motion at the two most prominent individuals. The lillymon and Strabimon; added to that motion was a quirk of a curious brow and tilt of the head.
"Seems we found it, but what now? Poke around a bit? See what we see?"
Log -Kan dismisses holy lance.
