You ever feel like you're an ant compared to something way bigger? A mere dot compared to...well...everything else?
Amaya Akemi felt this a lot. Not just because she was five feet flat but because nowadays everything was just...huger than her. A giant angel. A giant skeleton mammoth. A big, starlit desert...
The last one was what she had been faced with right now. A cold, sandy expanse lit with lights that'd make you wonder if you were actually under the aurora borealis. Which...given where she was? Might as well be the case. Now if only she had pleasant...
"Hey, chicken dinner, are we theeere yet? I'm hungry."
Company. "No. I don't...even know where a 'meat farm' is. I also miss you not being able to talk, Fuzzball." "My name's ANZU. ANZU!" A thwap at the center of her chest. It seemed her companion, the Tsukaimon known formerly as Fuzzball and now Anzu was very...indignant and hongry as some would put it.
And the only think Akemi could do is make her way through the moonlit sea of sand and hope to find some meat farm or whatever.
"WOW! I didn't know this is a thing!" Blake exclaimed in a positive way as he took a look at the crystals that were before him.It was currently his first time in the Digital Room and he doesn't know that it wasn't all it had to offer. Renamon was behind him and crossed his arms. "First-Time Impression, I see?"He spoke.
Blake turned around and nodded. "Crystals that are big as a tree. Was it always like this?" He asked the fox. Renamon sighed. "It used to be a great deep blue sea. Now, there's nothing left but, a flat wasteland yet, one change can make a difference." He said to him. Blake yawned as he took a look at his D-3. "Just a curious question. Are there more Renamon's?" He also asked him. Renamon nodded. "There's also more Veemon's, Lopmon's, etc." He sighed to then look over to the side.
"You think will meet anyone here?" Blake, once again, asked him. Renamon gave Blake a look and nodded. "We have to keep our guard up. Who knows what could be out here.."
Akemi was about this close to starting to (attempt) to give the Tsukaimon a lecture before the sound of voices managed to stop this before it had even began. People all the way out in this place? Either they were as lost as she was or probably unsavory folk like the Lalamon...
And then an idea hit her. "Hey, uh...Anzu, you can fly, right?" "Not super duper high but yeah. Why? Want me to look at whoever those folks are or somethin'?"
"...Yes, actually. That'd be super duper helpful." "I meean...I was gonna do that anyways whether you let me go or not so that's nice and all." Anzu wriggled her way free from Akemi's arms and flew in the direction of Renamon and Blake's voices, murmuring a quiet "damn scrubnugget" as she did.
So these guys sure seemed super duper curious about a big ol' crystal in this shiny heckhole...Wonder why.

Renamon turned his head as his ears perked up. He didn't notice anyone spying on them yet but, whoever it was, they could be coming their way. "Blake, I think it's best if we move along. There could be some people coming to where we are." He said moving away from the crystal.Not only Blake was paranoid but, Ren as well but, not by a lot. "I don't know exactly where, however."
"Doesn't matter. Let's just keep moving." Blake answered him as he went towards another way. Renamon followed him. A few seconds of silence was broken as Blake had some sort of a idea. "You know, if we want to find people who have digimon, we can always start up a beacon. But, I don't have that attachment as of right now. We should probably head over to that store when were done here."
"That's a double-edged sword. You could meet the right kind of people but, you also attract the bad ones. But, if you want to try then I guess it wouldn't hurt." Renamon said to him.
Anzu remained where she was for a little longer, watching the duo as they -seemed- to realize that there were, in fact, more people than just them here? But she wasn't really too sure, after all, the brain of a bean is rather ti--...Nah, she just was doubtful.
She also continued to listen in, and...wait, there's a store where you can get stuff? Like...attachments? Attachments for what?
Meanwhile, Akemi was hanging back and waiting for Anzu and...also enjoying the silence, until it was broken with a very, very loud and abrupt shout of "ATTACHMENTS FOR WHAT? C'MON, HELP A BROTHER OUT!"
Renamon stopped and immediately went into his battle stance. "Alright, show yourself. I think it's been long enough that you followed us. Either you do that or I have to come and find you." He spoke in a loud tone. He kept on looking at every crystal, his head turning quickly to one after another. "Where.."
"Wait, Renamon, they could be friendly."Blake reassured him. "Besides, how would we know if they're even bad people." He asked him.
"Simple. If they don't attack after I said so." Ren answered in his normal tone of voice. "If they do as I told them then, they may not be looking for a fight."
Blake went behind him since he didn't necessarily have any type of weapon with him. Sure he has the multi-tool but, he left it back at the human world along with his backpack. As long as the digimon isn't a champion and above, they have a chance at least.
Wow, that Renamon sure seemed jumpy. At least to Anzu he(?) did. The airborne Tsukaimon did not really move, only opting to clarify something. "You know, I can't really show myself if I'm already in the open! Just look up, ya weenie!" She was up in the sky, flapping her ears with pride.
Meanwhile, Akemi made a very basic assessment of this situation. Anzu was being Anzu and it was probably not going to end well. No attacks had been thrown yet, so there was a very brief window to save this from possibly turning into some Tsukaimon versus whatever's over there.
So, her response was to actually shout too. "Okay, disregard -everything- my partner said, we're not hostile or anything so please don't attack her!"
"Yeah, I agree. Please, Renamon, it's not worth it." Blake pleaded with him. They could be experienced than them. Not to mention that her digimon can fly so it's going to be a bit difficult to catch. Renamon went out of his battle stance and crossed his arms.
"Then come out. It's as simple as that." Renamon answered her to then look up. "I don't have to remind you to watch your mouth, you know." He called out to the Tsukaimon. Blake, at this point, feels like he's aggravating the both of them.
"Renamon, that's enough." Blake said, sternly. "Look, I know where your digimon but, where are you? Can you please not make this hard than it has to be." He asked the "voice". It was best for the both of them not to deal with anyone. They just wanted to enjoy the lights from the crystals and nothing else. Or that's what he wanted to do anyway.
Everyday it was something new. Be it a floating island in the middle of the Continent or a giant forest that housed only the most cunning and dangerous. But this was something else. Crystals easily the size of the tress in the aforementioned forests that cascaded their light onto the pure white sand. Sand which easily parted between Siris' paws as he made his way through. He stopped a few times to catch his breath and to gaze at the massive crystals, placing a paw to feel the heat they absorbed from the sun.
After meeting his father, the Mikemon who lived in the Tower Library within the Plains, he decided to make his headway on his own for a bit. To really contemplate and fulfill the wanderlust that fills every young heart. He figured he'd see the wonders of the world before giving himself to an organization who might keep him in one place. But out of the massive crystals and their imposing stature he noticed something a little more odd...
Siris had only seen a human a few times in the tower, and avoided them at every turn. Not because he hated them, but because he couldn't tell them apart and felt guilty. If possible, he'd try to avoid that awkward scenario. But... something else was tacked onto this scenario;
Two Digimon, about to fight! Some purple flying bat creature and another Renamon! Siris sighed, maybe a third party would ease the situation? With a soft walk going heel to toe, Siris' footsteps made about as much noise as the soft hum the crystals gave when one would get near them. Likely the party wouldn't have noticed him until he made it clear! Which he did as he cleared his throat near the other Renamon:
"Woah! Another Renamon? I know I wasn't the last one, but I didn't think I'd run into another one!"
With the purposeful distraction and revaluation, Siris was hoping that mitigated the possible fight that was about to be!
"Woah, woah, watch out, Kemi, we got a BADASS over here! Run, he'll...pfft...HAHAHA!" Anzu nearly doubled over in the air. Seriously? This was actually happening right now? At this rate she didn't even want to fight, she just wanted to see how much this fox would entertain her!
Akemi just listened to the other voice. A human. Okay, that's a good start. "Not too far? I take it you're at one of the nearby crystals?" Assumedly. Maybe it was the one in front or to the left? Who knew? Either way she started towards Blake (and Ren's) voice. Let's see how this plays out.
Meanwhile, back up above, Anzu noted that a second Renamon had joined the scene. A...duology of foxes. Huh. She sloooowly lowered herself in the air a little and stared. "...Woah! KEMI THERE'S TWO!"
Everything was happening at once with Renamon then grabbing Blake and getting him to run. At this point, it's best if he gets away from the situation. He looked back with Blake running behind him. "Where are we going? We can't just leave them like that. Also, was that another Rena-"
Annoyed, Ren said something in his stern voice "I need you to-" Renamon didn't finish what he was saying as he hit a crystal which resulted in him falling backwards. His eyes were closed with one hand holding his head. "Perfect." He squeaked. Everything was spinning in his head. "Why can't we just have a peaceful watch without having people butt-in?" He mumbled.
Blake slid to a screeching halt, kneeling down towards his digimon. "We didn't really go that far by the way." He said to him. Renamon didn't answer as he groaned slightly.Another Renamon. Because, that won't be difficult to tell the difference between the two of them.
With this sudden revaluation of a second fox, the other Renamon was quickly dragged away by his tamer. Siris watched the duo flee from the group, but was stopped short as they were sent backwards into by one of the many crystals that dotted the landscape. Siris tilted his head, watching and then looking to the purple-bat like Digimon and her tamer;
"Is this... normal? I'm sorry if I spooked you."
With a sigh, he watched the Renamon clutch his head and endure the most likely intense pain he gained from the crystal. Either way, the young fox would leap from crystal to crystal and look to the other Renamon, no doubt the purple bat and her human would have followed, and if they didn't well, it didn't really matter at this point! Siris leapt down and held a paw out;
"Are you... alright? You two took off in a hurry."
He would stand up straight and give a slight bow, formally introducing himself; "I'm Siris, nice to meet you!"
Akemi's walk ended quite abruptly. Heck, she just found one fox dragging a guy away and another one being...Actually sociable? He seemed far less prickly than the other one. She raised a hand in the air to signal Anzu to come down...Only for nothing to actually happen because Anzu decided NOT to come down whatsoever. Nope. She just hung back in the air. "No, you didn't scare me but I think my charge up there's...uh. Of the impression you two are clones or something." As stupid as that sounded it was probably not above Anzu to think that.
She also noted how...dexterous the fox(es) seemed. Leaping from crystal to crystal? Interesting. Her Tsukaimon could just fly around and act like a nuisance. Either way...Akemi just put her hands behind her head. "So what's the big deal here? Like...what're you three doing here? Fuzzball up there's hungry and insists there's a meat farm around here. Or a place with food. Uh...We're probably really far from one, aren't we? All I've seen is white and crystals..."
Renamon was reluctant enough to take the other Renamon's hand. He then stared at him after he was helped up. "I didn't know that it would be easy to find more of my kind." He spoke to Siris, crossing his arms. "At least, I'm not the only one." He shrugged. It was obvious that it left a bruise on his head. He didn't really bring anything with him to treat it but, he just has to watch where he's going and not pick a fight.
Blake couldn't believe his eyes. So, there are more of the same digimon. "Siris, huh? Where's your partner?" He asked him. He then looked at his Renamon. "I think I may have to change his appearance and give him a name." He thought. "I don't want anyone tricking me and to use that as an unfair advantage."
The both of them didn't want to ignore Akemi and Anzu but, they can't be paying attention to everything at once.
With the sudden flood of information, Siris only smiled and fidgeted nervously with his hand, not used to this kind of spot light from so many people. But he'd answer them to the best of his knowledge, or what little knowledge he had;
"Oh! I saw a farm of sorts just south when I entered this... place. But I do have food if you're hungry. I left my bag a few meters away! Should be plenty!"
Another question arose, one that merited slightly more attention, given how odd the question was to Siris. A human partner...? Certainly he had heard of that, his father made that clear and introduced him to all manner of types. But he had never actually seen it. This human must have been 'partners' with the other Renamon. With the question came a cock of his head, his hands placing firmly on his hips as he scrutinized the two, then spoke with the same nervous tone;
"Oh... no. I, uh, don't have a human that travels with me! I have my dad, a Mikemon that runs the Library Tower! My sister, a BlackGatomon who lives there, and my mother; A white Renamon who is a traveling warrior! I'm traveling too! Hoping to find her!"
He would give a disarming smile to the group, hoping not to offend anyone or continue the aggression from before. He wasn't looking for a fight, after all!
